Banyan Tree Spa Hangzhou

We had a night stay at Banyan Tree Spa Xixi Wetland Hangzhou. I love the place so much! Stay was awesome! Room is big! Staff are friendly and helpful. I would think the service staff made a lot of difference! Though it is quite a distance away from City Center, it is quite easy to get a car from app. Morning breakfast had a good spread!

I’m so glad I didn’t let reviews complaining about “no Dyson hairdryer”, “no smart curtains” and “hotel wasn’t new” put me off booking banyan tree. The views were incredible, the service was immaculate and this hotel is everything someone who LOVES the vibe of jiangnan water towns could ever dream of. Breakfast was fabulous. Oh, and they did have smart curtains and Dyson hairdryers.

Awesome stay at Banyan Tree Hangzhou. Love the decor & tranquility around the hotel as well as the beautiful natural landscape in Xixi Wetland. We were upgraded to the Premium room and it was huge & luxurious. The hotel also provide a shuttle service to & fro the Xixi area where there are restaurants. There is also a free photography session. The staffs were friendly and helpful which made our stay very comfortable and I would love to come back again..

I rarely write reviews. It's so seldom, I believe this may even be my first Google review. The exceptions are far and in between, purposefully so. To give Banyan Tree a 5-star rating, without sharing the experience, would do injustice to the incredible time my girlfriend and I had at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth by every single staff member. Checking in was a breeze, and we were even greeted by the most stunning of sunsets as we overlooked the hotel's entrance bridge; the pagoda sitting in the far distance. We were instantly transported to a different time and place. Often times, the advertised pictures of your hotel room embellish what the room looks like. Somehow, the room was even better than the photographs. Our "room" was a villa in every sense of the word. We didn't have one bathtub. We had two. One in our immense bathroom, the other in our bedroom. We had an issue with the piping, which we reported to the staff the following day. They were so attentive and understanding that they extended our stay, free of charge. And so, we were moved to another, equally stunning, room. From offering complementary wine and fruit, to speaking to us about Hangzhou, and giving tips; it was truly the most well-serviced hotel I've ever had the privilege of staying at. Frank and Jennifer are two staff members I want to particularly commend, for facilitating this one-in-a-lifetime experience. My girlfriend and I are still euphoric from our time in Hangzhou, and I have a suspicion we'll be back sooner than later. Partly because it's a stunning city, largely because of the hotel service and staff. Thank you.

A very delightful stay. Spacious suite and it’s great for just relaxing and getting away from the noise. There is a shuttle provided to the hotel to get you to the entrance of Xixi so you can get to the metro quickly (~5 mins). Breakfast was a delight and overall a very enjoyable stay.

Every morning, my mother would speak fondly of 37, whose gentle care, generosity, and radiant spirit made her feel cherished from the moment she stepped into breakfast.A heartfelt thank-you as well to the kind gentleman who drove us by buggy to 外婆家 on our first day — his patience and thoughtfulness towards my elderly parents spoke volumes of true hospitality.The team’s attentiveness extended even to our room — near the lobby, with no stairs, perfectly suited for seniors.If you’re traveling with elderly parents or simply seeking serenity, this is paradise. Sit on your balcony, watch the ducks glide and the boats drift by — and you’ll understand why Hangzhou is poetry in motion.

Banyan Tree Hangzhou is one of my favourite places in China. It is set in the beautiful Xixi Wetlands and boasts traditional Chinese architecture. The staff are friendly and helpful, language is not a barrier.

Great stay at Banyan Tree Hangzhou! Rooms were very well cleaned and there were amenities such as pools and steam rooms we could visit. Decor was really nice around the hotel and was close to most things. Would stay here again
