Banyan Tree Spa Hangzhou

The BEST service we’ve ever had from a hotel. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, specifically breakfast & concierge team. The best mention however, has to go to the Auntie who cleans our room everyday. She saw that we had a kid, and provided kid amenities (toothbrush, sandals, robe) even without us asking. She was very thoughtful and anticipated whatever we may need (eg leaving a pack of new tissue, seeing we used up so much because we were having a cold). We felt so comfortable staying there. Beautiful pond there has a few ducks guaranteed to make kids happy too. Definitely recommends and would come back again!

Facilities are good. We enjoy the "Love Boat" Dinner & SPA Experience. The food is traditional Hangzhou style and taste excellent. The hotel is large enough for spending a whole day in walking between the garden & river with beautiful scene around. Very good experience in staying there.

We had a night stay at Banyan Tree Spa Xixi Wetland Hangzhou. I love the place so much! Stay was awesome! Room is big! Staff are friendly and helpful. I would think the service staff made a lot of difference! Though it is quite a distance away from City Center, it is quite easy to get a car from app. Morning breakfast had a good spread!

I’m so glad I didn’t let reviews complaining about “no Dyson hairdryer”, “no smart curtains” and “hotel wasn’t new” put me off booking banyan tree. The views were incredible, the service was immaculate and this hotel is everything someone who LOVES the vibe of jiangnan water towns could ever dream of. Breakfast was fabulous. Oh, and they did have smart curtains and Dyson hairdryers.

Awesome stay at Banyan Tree Hangzhou. Love the decor & tranquility around the hotel as well as the beautiful natural landscape in Xixi Wetland. We were upgraded to the Premium room and it was huge & luxurious. The hotel also provide a shuttle service to & fro the Xixi area where there are restaurants. There is also a free photography session. The staffs were friendly and helpful which made our stay very comfortable and I would love to come back again..

Excellent service and room cleanliness. Only downside is very weak shower head water pressure. Otherwise all good. Hotel gives free mini bar drinks and uses dyson hair dryer which is a plus.

A very delightful stay. Spacious suite and it’s great for just relaxing and getting away from the noise. There is a shuttle provided to the hotel to get you to the entrance of Xixi so you can get to the metro quickly (~5 mins). Breakfast was a delight and overall a very enjoyable stay.

Sit on your balcony, watch the ducks glide and the boats drift by — and you’ll understand why Hangzhou is poetry in motion.
