The peanut milk was amazing, and the beef rice was very delicious. The yolk created the perfect sauce for the beef, which was cooked perfectly. Even if you are someone who doesn't like the texture of egg yolk, like me, it does add to the dish. The milk was very creamy and had the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The atmosphere was very lovely, even during the lunch rush it still felt very calm and intimate. It does give the luxury experience with affordable prices [for London]. The portions are big, the drinks are tasty, highly recommend to go to the restaurant if you are in the city. If you have a big party, this location allows reservations for 8+ people.

I tried the pop up at Victoria Station and the food was so good I vowed that the next time I was in London I'd seek out one of their restaurants. I am so glad that I choose City Bao. Brenda and her team were amazing, super friendly, helpful and went the extra mile for me and my son to make this dining experience out of this world..... The food we choose was delicious 😋.. Lamb dumplings to start and share and then my son had a chicken Bao and I had chicken with their special sauces. My son and I had the best time and can't wait to come back. Thank you Brenda...

Bau City London serves delicious food with friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend the Dry Aged 40-day beef rice bowl, the meat is tender, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with the rice.

I have previously visited the Marylebone, Kings Cross and Soho branches so was excited to visit the City site. I managed to get a booking online in the day. I would recommended booking in advance, even if a weekday. After 18:30 it gets busy. The vibe of the place is great, feels trendy, great music and atmosphere. You have to make your order yourself digitally. Some things may not be available from the printed menu but you will see what is available online. You’ll also have to pay using the online application, it’s simple and easy to use. I had a great frozen beer shandy and my friend had a bubble tea. There is a great selection for drinks. We got a good spread of different type of dishes, potentially too many for two. We ordered: - Lamb dumplings - 2 x fried Chicken Bao - 2 x classic Pork Bao - Pork rice - Grilled Fried chicken steak - Horlicks Bao My two favourite dishes were the grilled fried chicken steak and the dessert bao. Even though not groundbreaking, Bao always delivers a consistent tasty experience.

Our favorites were the bone marrow noodles and the duck. The prawn and the soy aubergine starters on the other hand, were respectively bland and confusing. The chicken bao was the best of the 3, with pork being somewhat mediocre, and the prawn merely heavy, All in all, it was pleasurable experience.

I've been here a few times now for their Bao15 offer and it hits the spot every single time. I keep forgetting how delicious the prawn roll is, made to perfection! Staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Service is still pretty quick despite busy lunch periods. Looking forward to my next visit :)

Had the Bao15 menu deal where you choose 3 items for £15. The Taiwanese beef noodles soup and the spicy aubergine were too oily for my taste. I enjoyed the Bao.

The food at Bao was fantastic. I would go as far as saying its one of the best restaurants I've dined at in the UK and no surprises that a Michelin Bib was given to BAO.The bao itself was very soft and delicious and really appreciated the different bun selection with every dish. Special shout out to the prawn bao it was giving a very posh prawns on toast. Our waitress Leah provided fantastic customer service and helped us with the menu. This all in all was a first class experience. The pineapple drink was amazingly delicious. Notes of sweet, salt, and tangy. The ambience and decor at BAO City was also very exclusive and impressive.
