Took my partner here for her birthday several weeks ago and the experience was superb. Food was amazing as usual and so was the service. One of our servers looked like she was training a new employee and watching their interaction was charming. They also gave my partner a Horlicks ice cream bao as a birthday treat. Thank you

Stunning interior décor. Friendly service. Some dishes were great, full of flavour and texture. But the noodles were disappointing. The main issue was the timing. We arrived at noon and ordered several dishes, but the beef noodles took nearly 40 minutes to arrive and most of the ingredients were cold, this timing isn’t ideal for a city lunch break. Booking during lunchtime is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

£15 for a main, bao, starter, very good value especially buying a noodle itself cost £14.75 already. Very good for a lunch deal and they offer very traditional taiwanese food. The beef noodles soup is rich, little bit too salty but acceptable. It could be slightly more hot. But overall definitely worth visiting again.

Food was great, everything was extremely tasty and well-seasoned! Maybe the soup was a bit too oily, but that’s just my taste. Overall a good experience and will definitely try other BAO locations in London :)

The Beef Short Ribs Bao is quite spicy, but it is delicious. For some people, it may be too spicy. The bao buns are soft. The fried chicken is crunchy.

Love the interior styling. Unfortunately the food does not live up. Came in specifically tempted by the braised pork rice. It did not meet expectations for what a braised pork with rice dish should be. If only it were that, I can take it. But sadly, this was objectively not very good. Pork was dry, rice was mid quality. Egg & portion size was ok, that's it. But honestly, despite the quality, it's still astounding to me to find a below 10pound sit-down meal in the City. Bao (pulled beef for me) was also just ok. It looks hefty prior to your first 2 bites, then you realise it's frontloaded for effect.

The peanut milk was amazing, and the beef rice was very delicious. The yolk created the perfect sauce for the beef, which was cooked perfectly. Even if you are someone who doesn't like the texture of egg yolk, like me, it does add to the dish. The milk was very creamy and had the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The atmosphere was very lovely, even during the lunch rush it still felt very calm and intimate. It does give the luxury experience with affordable prices [for London]. The portions are big, the drinks are tasty, highly recommend to go to the restaurant if you are in the city. If you have a big party, this location allows reservations for 8+ people.

Had the BEST experience at this CITY branch. The decor and interior feel very cozy. The food and staff were AMAZING!!! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for either a cute date spot or a group gathering spot. We ordered the Char Sui Pork, Beef rice, chicken wing and grilled fried chicken steak (forgot to take picture of the steak though)
