Bao GoGo - Reynoldstown - Review - Reynoldstown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Bao GoGo (with locations in Buckhead and Alpharetta) adds a third in Reynoldstown. The casual Chinese restaurant has a huge menu, which includes dumplings, buns, and entrees like sesame chicken. It sits on the ground floor of an apartment complex across the street from Madison Yards and is one of only a few Chinese spots in that part of town, so we expect there will always be someone inside slurping lo mein." - Juli Horsford

Great place. The food was really good, the service was genuinely kind, and even the bathrooms were clean with hot water and plenty of napkins. This spot checked every box.

We went to the movies and noticed a new Chinese restaurant opened, so we stopped in. The restaurant was packed with people! We were immediately greeted and seated and brought us menus as soon as possible. We each got a soup, an order of egg rolls (they gifted us an extra for our first time), and we got the garlic chicken as our main. The portions were good and the menu prices are fair. Excited to have a new local Chinese restaurant!

Just came in opening night and the food is incredible!!!! I got the TSO’s Chicken! Plate was huge! Staff is very friendly you can definitely see they care. Presentation of the food was excellent. I’m a bit of a foodie so presentation means a lot to me. Definitely stop by and try it out I look forward to coming back PS. Food was so good I got a side of dumplings… zero regrets!

I was very happy with my selections. Prices were fair and portions good. Quality was good too not “cheapo Chinese” feeling. Many items had that not spicy but numbing quality that is interesting and becoming popular in America. I got the fried pigs foot, dry cauliflower, shredded pork with the wraps, grandmas noodles, and pork low mein. All were very good! I will come back again. id say the lo mein was the least interesting, good but not anything special.

Fantastic bao and standout Chongqing Chicken. The chicken was balanced and full of flavor even with the high spice level. The heat worked in all the right ways and paired well with the numbing peppers for a true, accurate Chongqing experience that many places do not get right. Soup Dumplings were good. Our 2 year old loved the Chicken Lo Mein. Food arrived fast with friendly service that made all of us feel welcome. Excellent experience from start to finish. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

If you are craving for some authentic spicy Chinese food, this is definitely the spot you need to try. We ordered crab roe & pork soup dumplings, Spicy fish, and dry spicy chicken fish, they are all very delicious, and pretty spicy to the standard Chinese sichuan food flavors. Definitely will come back to tryout for other dishes, they are vegetarian friendly, lots of veggie dishes and you can request from certain dishes too :)

Saw on the window they had Chong Qing Chicken, went in, got it, loved it, brought some home for later. That’s really all I wanted and they nailed it. We got three sets of buns and two entrees. They all fit on a two person table, but a sixth dish may not have. Everything was good. I really liked the vegetarian buns.

Yelp
We're so excited to have Bao GoGo in the neighborhood! First of many visits. As vegetarians, we're excited so many of the dishes can be made with tofu. Today we got steamed veggie dumplings that were light, flavorful and delicious. Love the peanut sauce! The vegetable spring rolls were also light, tasty and great. And the egg drop soup has a subtle corn favor - and a couple of kernels - that we really enjoyed. Super nice people.Definitely check them out and make them welcome on Memorial!

Yelp
Amazing new.comer to Reynoldstown next to Madison Yards. Late lunch of beef noodles (without scallions) with a Thai milk tea were perfection! Service was amazing too. The tables and chairs are a nice touch - real wood vs awkward plastic - which gives the space a bit of warmth.

Yelp
I went here before getting drinks at another nearby restaurant. We had crab Rangoon, soup dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, and chicken baos. Everything was great and it was good even reheated the second day. I'm not used to Dan Dan noodles, so it wasn't particularly my favorite, but everything else was delicious. Service was quick and our waitress was attentive

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised how good this place was! Our favorite was the dan dan noodles. The price is great as well compared to other places in the area. There's a great 12$ lunch special. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
First time here since they recently opened, and I WILL be back! Got the chicken fried rice, pork soup dumplings, and crispy chicken. Everything exceeded my expectations. The fried rice was some of the best I've had, and the soup dumplings were large and filled with an amazing broth. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
newly opened... everything was made to order. Brian, our waiter was so helpful and kind... the soup dumplings were fantastic. twice cooked pork was pork belly, sliced paper thin with vegetable. so good. just prepared for spice. my friend loved the flounder. we will all definitely return. A welcome Chinese restaurant to the neighborhood.
