On the main drag here in Jackson.
The sign reads it's Korean and American.
All of their chicken is grilled pulled chicken, that's odd to me.
We have to order the food at the counter. We ordered 2 spicy tuna triangle Kimbaps, a chicken dolsot bibimbap with fried egg over hard, a chicken bibimbap with an egg over hard and two sets of the Korean side dishes (kimchi, cucumber, radish and ) and 2 extra kimchi sides too. $78.89.
The banchans are okay. Kimchi is aged more than I prefer. The rest of the banchans are not some of the better banchans options out there.
The chicken in both of our dolsot bibimbap and regular bibimbap are cold, hard, dry and overcooked. Their big pieces, not exactly nite sized. The meat reminds me of jerky.
Not sure the point of the stone pot is barely hot. The rice isn't crusty or cooked in the stone pot and the food is mostly cold.
They also use the dehydrated shitake mushrooms, not my favorite, as they gave this rubbery texture to me after being dehydrated.
The better part of our meal was the super messy spicy triangle kimbap. They make it here a bit differently and clearly without the handy kit to keep the goods neatly between the rice. It's quite big and messy for kids, if you ask me. It tastes good, but really messy and too messy for me. I gave mine over to my husband after trying to eat a couple of bites of it without it all falling apart.
