This place is awesome. I think the best hotel restaurant I’ve been to. Plus, it’s amazing quality (grass fed, wild caught, local, etc) for great prices (17-25 for most entrees)! We got several other dishes not pictured and everything was amazing. The highlights were the burger, coconut shrimp, and salmon. Kale salad was good, but it was pretty small. Anyways, this place was so fun to know there was tasty and good quality food at our hotel. Also all the waiters were great and helpful (Ismail was awesome)

Tried out Bar 10 while we stayed at Westin for 3 nights. Loved the truffle fries, calamari was good and the flatbread was a little underwhelming. Ordered truffle fries again with a burger next day, we had the burger well done and it was juicy not dry. Not sure if we would come back if we weren't staying at Westin.

Google
Only speaking of the breakfast -- the food is mediocre and not surprisingly overpriced. I've tried breakfast from many hotels nearby and this is the most disappointing.

Google
Meat so fresh it almost jumps out on you! Overpriced but it doesn't get more farm to table than this!

Google
I enjoyed my experience here. Since there weren't many people, we were able to pick a table very quickly. I ordered the clam chowder for an appetizer then got the lobster roll. Both were very good, especially the lobster roll. Afterwards, I got a chocolate lava cake for dessert which came with ice cream and strawberries. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. I would definitely go again

Google
I had a great time at this hotel bar! They have live music! I just had a beer and some fries as a snack, but they have a robust menu, good staff, and live music! The built-in menu on Google maps is incorrect, as it is their 2020 pre-covid menu. Posting their new menu in my review.

Google
Nice hotel bar in the Westin Copley. Convenient to get to here by T. Food and drinks were pretty good here. Burger, wings and drinks were solid. Dessert could use some work but overall a good experience.

We liked the food, the music, the service. Everything was great. Nice experience !

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by Bar 10. While it might appear like a typically hotel bar, the food is really really good. We started with the sangria and mezcalita drink, both of which were super good. The waiter was really helpful in helping us decide what would be best. The food came out really fast. We had the Caesar salad with salmon and the short rib. While the portion for the short rib and salmon seemed small, they ended up being pretty filling which was nice. The short rib was incredible- tender, cooked perfectly, really flavorful. The dish also had carrots, broccolini, pickled onions, and a potato puree. Overall it was a really well balanced dish. We also were seated right next to a musician, which at first we were nervous about, but was actually really tasteful and nice. They had a guitarist playing guitar only covers of songs which added to the atmosphere. Would recommend!

Yelp
Roasted cauliflower, pomegranate, lentils and hummus. Delicious and really great service!

Yelp
I dined with friends on the weekend and then returned the following evening too. What a gem in the neighborhood. The Westin 'farm to table' healthy eating section of the menu was fantastic . Half portions are available & we enjoyed the salmon, the risotto & the great selection of wine. Bravo to the service & the chef for a convenient and excellent experience.

Generosa C.

Yelp
This bar is located in Westin Copley place. The clam chowder was amazing and so was the Star Sangria which is a Fall cocktail. Great place to gather with friends!

Ava N.

Yelp
The food was decent at best. Our server was nice enough. But what really made our party upset was having to listen to the hosts complain (very rudely might I add) about many different patrons. People in the food industry should not be complaining about each and every customer that dines at an establishment and they definitely should not be using profanity at their place of work. It really just ruined our entire experience and turned us off to the restaurant. I wasn't going to add this but hopefully this host learns a lesson. The other main issue with our experience is that I watched the host ogle my adult daughter. And it wasn't just a glance. This man looked her up and down and stared at her breast area. Extremely inappropriate and disgusting frankly.

Yelp
I stayed in Westin for 1 night on a business trip, and got $25 credit to spend at Bar 10 so my colleagues and I came here for dinner. I must say the food and service all exceeded my expectations and I really enjoyed the overall dining experience. Our waitress is very patient with us, even though we were confused with how this $25 credit works but she was just so patient explaining the rule to us. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Bartender rocks! Makes the boring hotel bar worth visiting. Killer martini! Wine list has good 'by the glass' options. Eat well menu -- guiltless. Tho defeats the reason I love Boston. All in all -- food is good. Service is good. And I recommend if you are popping in for a fun bartender and local drink.

Joanne J.

Yelp
Came just for dessert and got the Boston Cream Pie and decaf. Both were delicious and the decaf was made fresh by Alice, it was the best decaf I ever had....in my life!!!!!! It was so top shelf of her to make the coffee fresh for menBOOM!

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
I don't know why this place has medium rating! The food was so good and fresh :) I enjoyed the cauliflower steak which tasted bomb and the pretzel was very warm and delicious. The bread was so soft inside with the cookie butter so tasty.

Charlene P.

Yelp
Loved my bowl of clam chowder. Thick but not too thick. It is more of a bowl size not cup. And only $9. Service was very quick. Cocktails were refreshing but on the light side. Which was ok cause we headed across the street to the Boston Library next.

Jake B.

Yelp
Ordered 36 dollar Buffalo wings to go which is only 12 wings with ranch, get back to the room and they have no Buffalo sauce on them. So I had to go back and ask for more buffalo sauce because they were not tossed in sauce, I'm not sure how they prepped them but they were mush and not crispy. They gave me ranch instead of blue cheese, my wife ordered boneless and they said they could do chicken tenders, they charged us $19 for some tenders they probably serve in a local jail they are not "chicken tenders" extremely under whelming considering what we were charged. $60 worth food charged to our room and it just goes in the garbage. I wouldn't feel comfortable offering it to a homeless person it was so bad. I'd recommended walking down the street and finding some where else to eat. Grab some alcohol and avoid patronizing bar 10 as they don't seem to care about the guest staying in the hotel.

Gabriela D.

Yelp
The service was amazing! And Luis made the best drinks ever! I will definitely come back. And Bernardo was the best server!

Allison G.

Yelp
I loved the atmosphere, which included live entertainment. The food is amazing and the service was great! It's located in the Westin Copley Hotel, but it didn't give the Hotel restaurant vibe, if you know what I mean. Great time.

Yelp
This is a lovely bar located in the Westin Copley Hotel in Boston, MA. We were doing a Cape Cod tour with Globus Tours and this is where we stayed before our adventure began. After mechanical problems with our Delta flight from Tampa, we found ourselves at Bar 10 after 11 1/2 hour day of waiting and flying. Bring on the drinks! Ishmael, our waiter, brought me samples of pinot grigio so I could decide and hubby had a decent Long Island Iced Tea. Dinner was quick and pretty good salmon so we felt full and a little tipsy to hit the sack. The bar is near the lobby which is on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Nice window view and no noise from the street! Good place to go!

Yelp
Food is not worth the price. Service is ok, no complaints there. The ambiance is ok too, nothing special.

Elaine S.

Yelp
Only had takeout from here as a guest of the Westin. My daughter & I arrived later at night and called down to order a couple of lobster rolls. We picked them up and ate in our room. The lobster rolls were perfect-cold, with easy mayo, some chopped celery & chives and a bunch of lobster on a warm, toasted, buttered split top bun. It also came with a side of potato chips. We also ordered the truffle mushroom flatbread (also good) in case we got hungry later. Highly recommend you try it!

Aya R.

Yelp
Lovely mixed drinks, limited wine selection. The staff were very kind and accommodating, making sure we had the most comfortable table. Food was solid, but overpriced. A great option for after work drinks with holiday hours, even on Christmas Day! As an added bonus, it's a fun little city adventure entering through the hotel and exploring the Copley mall next door.

Don V.

Yelp
Despite my continuous reviews, this establishment has not responded to my reviews. Management: I can be reached at donverfaille@gmail.com

Yelp
So this is what you get for $15 to go cup of chowder?!!!! I get a discount through my job so it's actually closer to $18 I believe

Gyr N.

Yelp
We checked in late this weekend and were glad that Bar 10 is open until midnight. We were able to get a table and something to eat. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food is unexpectedly good.

Shannon F.

Yelp
Service was strange. We had a reservation through OpenTable and the host couldn't find it in their system. He said he guessed he could seat us since he had an open table so "it's fine" (????) Our server was friendly though a bit slow on serving. Food was overpriced and portions were ok, the ambiance is really nice with comfortable seating and the atmosphere was cozy. Probably wouldn't return. Drinks were fun though!

Rachel Z.

Yelp
I visited Bar 10 this evening solely because I was staying in the hotel. However, this restaurant exceeded all of my expectations. Service was excellent and food was beautifully plated and tasted delicious too! Ambiance is dark and moody, clubby. Highly recommend.

Rebecca C.

Yelp
By far, one of the worst dining experiences in the history of dining experiences. The food was horrible - inedible for the most part. The Mac n cheese was literally Kraft. Worse than I make at home. Worse than my kids make. The service was no better than the food. When told that the food was not good, there was very little consideration for why the food was bad. The only way they would take the food off the bill was if they took it off the table. The manager came over, and was not able to offer anything other than "what else do you want?" And mid sentence walked away. There were NO redeeming qualities of this "restaurant." None. The drinks were small and overpriced. Never ever ever again. EVER. Also ruined my daughters birthday either the horrible food and service.

Gabriella R.

Yelp
I stayed at the Westin Copley and expected to get generic hotel food when I went to Bar 10. I was proved wrong once I enjoyed multiple options in the restaurant and in-room dining. Their lobster roll, flatbreads, burger, wings, chowder, and eat well options are delicious! The staff was amazing, and the live music on Thursday night turned an ordinary stay into a most delightful trip. The cocktail selection is great, and their old fashioned menu is a favorite of my boyfriends. I can't wait to stay again and hangout in Bar10!

Tony G.

Yelp
After a long day of snacks and junk food, it was good to have a nice salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Flatbread pizza was nice. Not to mention a good selection of beer. The service was great, too. Also, remember if staying at the Westin, good place to use your $25 food/drink voucher.

Joseph C.

Yelp
Service was good but food was nothing special at all. Bar 10 is just going through the motions. We had breakfast which was Ho hum at best. Very few options and all options make Denny's look like a 5 star restaurant. Not surprised for a Marriott property which are laser focused on saving money rather than food quality. If it wasn't free with my room/elite status I wouldn't pay a dime for this forgettable dining experience. Marriott's demands GM's focus on cost not quality which is why I only stay at a Marriott property if it is my last choice or a property with a GM which has higher standards than Marriott management. I stay in hotels at 120 to 150 nights per year and maybe 5-7 days I'm forced to stay at a Marriott. I used to stay over 100 nights a year with Starwood, then Marriott bought SPG and destroyed the brand turning the chain in the Kmart of hotels. Many look nice but nickel & dime their most loyal guests and serve second rate dining options for breakfast. Go somewhere else.

Yelp
I just got back to my hotel room from Bar10. I was greeted kindly and told I could sit anywhere. Within a few minutes of looking at the menu, the waiter came up and asked me what I wanted to order like three times while I was still clearly looking through the menu. I ended up ordering the clam chowder and the pepperoni pizza flatbread. The 5oz clam chowder came first and they provided two packets of your standard chowder crouton cracker things (blanking on the name). The clam chowder was super bland and flavorless. Honestly, not that great (maybe I'm spoiled from comparing to San Francisco clam chowder). I ate most of it because I was really hungry. The pepperoni flatbread pizza came a few minutes later. The smell was off-putting (almost smelled like feet). The taste was just as bad. I didn't even finish half of it and asked for my check. A different waiter came and provided me with a bill that was twice the cost of my meal. After looking closer, he gave me the completely wrong one with completely different items on it that I did not order. The nicest thing about this place was the atmosphere which was all right. I either recommend skipping this restaurant entirely, or just don't get the items that I ordered. Come here if you're desperate and don't feel like leaving the hotel, but even then I would probably just order delivery from somewhere else next time.. Overall, not a great experience for me (and I was hungry)!

Yelp
This is a solid hotel bar/lounge, in Westin Copley Place in Boston, and I actually feel it would be decent even if it wasn't in a hotel. It's located off the lobby, and the place was busy when we walked in very late on a weeknight (open till midnight). Bar seating was full, we were seated right away at a high top next to the grand windows. The place is classy yet casual, with all types of seating from the bar, hightops, long shared tables, small tables, and couches and the like. There was live music that added to the vibe, lively but you could still hear conversation. Our server came right away and we looked at the menus: really decent looking drink menu, and I guess I expected bar food but the food menu was definitely restaurant food. They offered several Old Fashioned variations, so I started with a Hall of Famer (whistlepig piggyback, maple, bitters, orange)... as good of an old fashioned as I've ever had. Many things on the food menu sounded great (including lobster roll, clam chowder, bleu burger), but i opted for "just" the grilled chicken sandwich with rosemary fries and it was very good, and hit the spot. They had Maine Beer Company Lunch on tap! (I'm not from Boston so maybe it's not uncommon here) so I had one of those and it was great. Service was quick and fine.

Steve P.

Yelp
Nice bar in the lobby of the Westin Copley Place. I came in twice for drinks after completing business for the day. The bar has a nice warm decor and the service was friendly and attentive. They have a small but decent wine by the glass list. The wines are fairly expensive and served in proper stemware. That said, the wines were not served at the proper temperature, the whites refrigerated and the reds at room temperature. For the price, the wines should be served at proper temp.

Megan M.

Yelp
Cocktails are pricey but strong and yummy. The winter menu is wonderful. Try the Merry Mule it's delicious.

Sergio D.

Yelp
I am not usually fond of staying to eat at the hotel... until now. Service means everything, and Jason was excellent. He was friendly and made great suggestions. Well, actually we all had the ribs because he recommended the.... and an adjacent table customer thumbs upped them... after sacrificing his sweater to the sauce gods... they were fantastic. The sides needed a little salt and BAM they were perfect. What more could you want? It's nice to have customer service that makes you feels special. Ask for Jason, and order the ribs. I will definitely return and rethink hotel restaurants in the future.

Yelp
There's no shortage of bars to go to in the Copley/Back Bay Area for cocktails after work but this was one of those spots I've never even heard of. Luckily I have foodie friends who have been to these hidden gems around Boston and suggested I check this place out for myself. And so, I found myself at Bar 10, a stylish restaurant in an intimate setting that happened to be tucked within the depths The Westin Copley Place and I can see the appeal due to the incentive, however, the vibe wasn't for me. $1 Oysters- From 5PM-7PM, I believe the oysters for a dollar deal is for every day, not just weekdays. They are small, thin but for a dollar, they shuck us a decent batch. Plus it gives us a reason to order a couple of cocktails while we slurp 2 dozen oysters down. "Port" Berkshire Manhattan- I can't claim to be a hard liquor expert to know the difference from a good or bad Manhattan but my friend who ordered it said it's one of the better ones he's had. To me, it tasted oaky with a buttery finish which honestly I enjoyed, so I wouldn't mind trying this again. Overall Service: Our bartender dropped one of our cards underneath one of the counters in the back and it became an event just to get it out. Too long that it kind of took the focus away from everything else.

B Belinda R.

Yelp
Service and drinks are excellent. Everyone who works at this restaurant is super friendly and accommodating. Rosemary French fries are delicious.

Rodney T.

Yelp
Bar 10 is a nice little spot in the Westin. While a little hidden you should find them as they have some really good drinks and food. Stop by for lunch when it's super quiet and you get a lot of personal service. The bartenders are knowledgeable and very personable. Pretty much all of the people at Bar 10 are either travelers or folks on a business trip and staying in the hotel, but do go here if you want a relaxing and casual time by the bar with non-Bostonians.

Thang N.

Yelp
This is my go-to spot for hotel bars. It has great drinks all around and even better food, especially during dinner time. Bar 10 could be expensive for obvious reasons, but I definitely recommend any of its burgers that come with house-made fries with rosemary and Parmesan (be sure to ask for the thin cut ones). Pretty much all of the people at Bar 10 are either travelers or folks on a business trip and staying in the hotel, but do go here if you want a relaxing and casual time by the bar with non-Bostonians.

Lauren G.

Yelp
We are from out of town and we're looking to get a lobster roll and some Boston cream pie. We were able to get a reservation for 6 and were seated fairly prompt. About 5-10 minutes. It's took extremely long to be served drinks. The food took forever to come out. Good thing we ordered dessert to come first. And getting a second round of drinks was very difficult. Decent food, but not if you're in a hurry.

Alisha M.

Yelp
Very, extremely expensive for no good reason. Had lunch here on day one of my stay and it was just okay. A Pellegrino and chicken Caesar salad for $29 was a total rip off. The next day we came for the breakfast buffet and it was good, lots of good options. The breakfast sausage was disgusting, but service was fantastic

Anne M.

Yelp
Great place to relax after shopping at Copley or even if your staying at the Westin, it's very chill.

Paul B.

Yelp
I really want to like this place, I really do. The tomato soup and grilled cheese "bar bite" was good as well as the service. But really, you guys turned away multiple patrons just because you were within 30 minutes of closing. One group was a family of four with kids and you sent them across the street? The next potential patron was a single 30-something in search of a nightcap. You couldn't even accommodate him? Management at the Westin needs to clean house. Your staff is turning away business and alienating spg loyalists like me with their bad behavior. Lucky you got one star. And yeah if you want to offer me an email to contact you I'll give you more details. This can be salvaged. But it's really sad considering what this hotel once was.

Amy K.

Yelp
I'm a fan of Bar 10. It was a central location to meet up with my friends for drinks, and we were able to get a table with comfy chairs, even on a busy night. Everyone had already eaten dinner, but the food on their menu looked really good. I had a couple of raspberry mojitos that were delicious. They seemed to have a good selection of beer and wine, too. I liked the vibe of Bar 10, and it was a welcome departure from some of the loud bars around Boylston packed with 20-somethings. I'd come back again.

Lynn J.

Yelp
Super secret bar...in the middle of the mall! I've been Winter walking through Copley mall since 2009, but only happened upon Bar 10, in the Weston Hotel, because they were hosting a charity event there. This tiny tavern is tucked away from mall traffic, hidden around the corner from the hotel lounge. The leather couches are lovely high backs, and the atmosphere is very chill and classy. (I would take my Mistress there on any given night.) THE DEAL: Want some privacy? This is the place!

Tracy S.

Yelp
I will give 4 stars only bc of the service being so great. Food not so much. May be I have higher expectation bc I'm from New York, New Jersey area...? food was disappointing but place was very comfortable, our server was fantastic. It's such a comfortable spot to pop in from our hotel since we stayed in Westin which is also pretty good.

Ryan J.

Yelp
Located in the Lobby of the Westin Copley Place (The Hotel I was staying at) is Bar 10, a place that's part Bar and part Ultralounge. A place where you can watch some Football and enjoy a good Drink. I decided to have my Late Night Bite here cuz I didn't want to walk anywhere and it was just 14 Floors below my room. While I was deciding on what to get, I got myself a Cocktail called Chamomile Collins (Absolute Vodka, Club Soda, Chamomile Simple Syrup and Lemon, it was a very relaxing Drink). Not a lot of things on the Menu interested me (I want food that's interesting, Intriguing and that Excites me), but one thing that I found that I wanted to try was the Poutine (a Canadian Snack/Junk Food consisting of French Fries, Fresh Cheese Curds and lots of Gravy). While I was waiting for the dish to come out I kept thinking of a Pile of Fries with Big Square Chunks of Cheese completely drowned in a moat of Gravy, I was wrong. It came out (perfect sized portion) with a Beef Demi-Glace and an Aged Sharp Cheddar Cheese Sauce (every single Fry was coated perfectly with both of these Sauces). Perfectly crisp Fries with this beefy flavor from the Demi-Glace and this sharp Cheddar Taste. One way of Poutine it was that it was so damn Good. I was also talking with this Husband/Wife Couple who flew in from San Diego, They kept me company the whole time, engaging in a Friendly conversation. I finished up by ordering a Creme Brulee (I just got something simple and what could be more simple than Sweet, Rich, Creamy custard topped with a Sugary Crust). I loved the food and the Atmosphere, its also a nice place to get a Beer. Next time I'll order twice the Amount of Poutine.

Bea T.

Yelp
Bar 10 is known to have a better bar scene but I went there for lunch. It's a very sad scene where a few people were there and the food was not up to par. The Harvest salad was not bad but my salmon with the mustard sauce was not great. The mustard was a little overwhelming for the flavor of salmon. Good quality fish doesn't require heavy sauces. The service there was okay but there was one server for the entire place. She also made us use the same utensils until I had to request to get new ones. It clearly had goat cheese all over my fork and knife but she placed them in alignment on the wood... what's is wrong with this picture? I don't know what's going on with this restaurant or its the Westin Hotel's issue but the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The place smelled and none of the toilets were working they were clogged with toilet paper which is a really bad sign of management. The only thing positive about this place is it central to back bay and it's in the hotel itself. In fact I think the quality of the food has gone down.

Ambrose C.

Yelp
Located inside the Westin Copley Place, one of the nicest and most sophisticated hotels in the somewhat decent city of Boston, I came here because a friend wanted to get some good drinks with some people. Since this bar is located inside a hotel, do not expect the drinks to have any great value, but you should have a lot of money in your hand and you should have the mind of "someone who splurges" rather than someone who tends to be "thrifty". When I walked into this place, I did not feel like I was in Boston. Rather, it felt like I was in a sophisticated bar in either New York City, Toronto, San Francisco, London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Shanghai or even in Hong Kong. So this is not a bad choice if you want to go someplace that is sophisticated. However, the clientele that seems to come to this place can be really sophisticated or they can be the "epitomes" of the "typical Americans." So you may find a fairly diverse range of people. Beers are going to be fairly expensive since this place is inside a sophisticated hotel. Be prepared to spend at least $7 for a Heineken or a Stella Artois. I liked how when they served the Heineken, they also provided a nice and cold glass so you could pour your bottle of beer. As for cocktails, the ladies in my friend's party seem to enjoy them. One of the ladies said to me that she like the mojito they have here. On a whim, I decided get a Mai Tai. It was a really juicy and really sweet drink. Did not detect much alcohol content. The cherry they provide on this cocktail is going to be a "fake cherry" so don't expect any fresh juicy fruits as a garnish for your cocktail unless the fruit is an orange. Cocktails are also going to be fairly expensive. Be prepared to spend at least $13-14 on a glass. As for food, they serve this tasty pretzel-like snack. It's really addicting to eat and a great complement to the drinks. Interior is really comfortable, seats are soft, and if you relax yourself a little more, the seats could be comfortable enough to actually fall asleep in after a long day. Music is not too loud, so it does give a little soft ambiance. Service is okay, the people are fairly nice. If you are looking for a server or bartender that's gorgeous, this is definitely not a good option. Overall, this is not a bad choice to spend a lot of money on some decently good drinks, and need a "tiny sophisticated escape from Boston" though I would not come here for the beer but more for the comfort.

Ed W.

Yelp
Just came here for drinks. The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were well portioned. I really enjoyed the atmosphere: laid back but with a touch a class.

Charlie S.

Yelp
Good food and servers. Nice place if you're staying at the hotel and don't feel like leaving.

Jacee Y.

Yelp
Went here because I was staying in the Westin. Service was pretty good and my drink was good but the food was just alright. I think it depends on what you order. Their chips were stale but the sorbet was amazing!

Samantha O.

Yelp
This is an average hotel bar. I would not come here for any reason other than you are staying at the hotel and want to grab a quick drink before heading out. We did not have any food, so can't speak to anything other than drinks and atmosphere.
