"Alibi is the first bar you see when you get to Rainey Street. This means there’s usually a good crowd of people who just happened upon the bar and are wondering whether to scope out the rest of the street first or just stay there for the next three hours. The backyard is great for playing giant Jenga or watching sports, and after a drink or two when your short attention span gets the best of you, keep bar-hopping down the street and remember you can always go back to Alibi." - Adele Hazan

We had an event for pintrist here at sxsw. It was good. Nothing fancy just okay. That staff seemed over sxsw to be honest. The food was catered by salt lick and that was probably the best thing.

Great sports bar on a great street. The patio is expansive and a great place to hang out and watch a game. You can post up here early on Sunday for the NFL and be content to spend an afternoon in football bliss. They could do more in the way of specials and sometimes the clientele leaves a little bit to be desired but overall a great place.

A sports focused bar on Rainey St is pretty great. That have a number of TVs inside the small bar area, as well as a few outside, as well as a huge projector outside in the back which would be great for watching big games when it's not the middle of January. The bartenders switched over a TV so we could watch a different game even though the NFL playoffs were on which was nice. They had a pretty good beer selection that was around $5 or less so that was nice too.

The definite sports bar on Rainey. Great place to hang on a weekday afternoon to catch a baseball game or a Saturday night to bar hop on Rainey. The bar space is limited so if its packed you will wait awhile. The backyard area is a great place to relax with friends and grab a bite at the food trucks. A definite recommend.

Bar 96 is the perfect Austin bar. It’s got a nice rustic inside with a big bar and good choices of craft beer on draft. Then there is the expansive backyard with lots of seating and games for entertainment. It’s the kind of place you can easily make a day out of with friends. Service was good, but didn’t stick out either way. The beer selections are pretty good with more than a couple of local crafts. We had no problem finding a spot to sit inside or out at night, though it gets more crowded on weekend nights.

This bar is on the edge of a great location, but that alone shouldn't make it popular. It's more of a sports bar having a handful of large TVs, but the beer selection isn't great and parking isn't easy to find. Service is okay. Ambiance is okay. Not a bad place, but doesn't really stand out in my mind at all.

Sports bar on Rainey St is probably the best description. Food truck there is delicious, plus there are a lot of random backyard games to play. Good beer selection and they will broadcast big games on the side of the barn next door out back which is cool.

Just like the other bars on Rainey, this place used to be a house. Cool place with some fun stuff to do. They have tons of board games and backyard games. Good bartenders. One of them actually competes in those flare competitions. I'll definitely be returning to this place.
