Our experience at Bar AC was fantastic! We had a great time and it was a wonderful send-off for our friend. The cocktails were top-notch, and the service was excellent. Courtney, our waitress, was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're in Austin, be sure to check out Bar AC!

Attended an event here and the staff had no sodas or coffee. The place is really pretty but can also be difficult to find (use the elevators that are not in the main lobby of the hotel). The view and terrace are nice but can get quite crowded in the entrances.

We had amazing service from our server Jerome! He met us with enthusiasm and helped us out with delicious options for tapas! Everything was quick and flavorful! Highly recommend Jerome as a server and would definitely ask for the Texas Tea (it’s fantastic)!

This bar is nothing shy of incredible! Had an amazing time here. The food is delicious. Felt like I was in Spain again. Brian, Jason, Trey know how service is done. It’s all about the personal connection. I stay in hotels and bars 75 nights a year, and I’ve never had such great personable service before in Austin. Will be staying at hotel AC again many more times in trips here to get my wine passport stamps! What a cool idea!

I love the Bar AC! The ambience is perfect for decompressing after a long day. The staff is always extremely friendly and the bartender Jerome is the best!! I always have a great experience here will continue coming back. 😊

We enjoyed wonderful service from Trey and Michelle! The indoor and outdoor sections of this bar are equally comfortable as well.

Had a great evening at Bar AC. Trey was the best! His recommendations for food was spot on. The meatballs and bacon wrapped dates are absolutely delicious! Trey went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible experience. He even had warm cookies delivered to our room after we left the bar. We will definitely be back! Best experience I’ve had in a very long time!

Liz and Erica were great! I had not been here before and they made suggestions from the menu, offered me an appetizer selection, and helped me feel welcome. The scenes from the balcony were great and the bar area was clean. The dim lighting and modern touches were perfect for a relaxing night after a long conference day. Thanks Liz and Erica! I will definitely be back when I am back in Austin--which is often.

I visited Bar AC a handful of times from its opening to before all the COVID madness shut it down and I've got to say that it's more than just a hotel bar; it's a chill spot for locals to feel at home with a cocktail in hand, too. Since it was new, it wasn't ever too crowded so getting (and keeping!) the attention of the bartender wasn't ever an issue. They have so many cute specials that I hope make a comeback when they do, like... Pass the Porrón everyday at 6pm! As is tradition in Spain (or so they tell me), the porrón (a drinking vessel created long ago as a way to share wine with friends) is passed around with a little white wine for everyone to indulge in (so you don't stain yourself trying to get it in your mouth!). Weekday Happy Hour from 4-6pm, where you can save yourself $2 on all wines by the glass. There's also $5 specialty cocktails that rotate every day of the week and then $5 select tapas. On Mondays, they offer half off wines by the glass after 6pm and on Tuesdays, half off all tapas starting at 6pm. There's a little balcony that wraps around the outside on the 3rd floor (I believe), so you can catch a beautiful sunset or just hang out inside with the velvet accents and library-esque vibe.

Kind of bummed I didn't get to try out their bar! But there will definitely be a next time. We booked a room for 1 night and were pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean the room was and how soft and comfortable the bed was. (I slept like a baby). The personal touch on the tv as you come in was really nice. It reminded me that I was on vacation and really set the tone of the night. The staff was really nice and helpful the entire time and helped us figure out the parking. For the price and the area I think this hotel is totally worth a shot. Nothing fancy but has really good vibes to it.

We had the pleasure of enjoying drinks and appetizers at Bar AC and it was wonderful. Very elegant feel, cool atmosphere, and a nice view of MLK. The drinks were reasonably priced and very tasty, I'd recommend their twist on the old fashioned and the tuna tar tar appetizer. Make sure to check out their rooftop bar as well while you are there!
