The Cocktail Heatmap: The Best Places to Drink in Denver This Summer | Eater Denver

"While the interior’s coolly handsome, the patio of this Italian-inspired hot spot is shaping up as the place to see and be seen this summer, with the sidewalk serving as a veritable runway for Cherry Creek’s fashion plates. Grab a front-row seat and take in the show over a round of appropriately glamorous cocktails like the Blood Orange Spritz, the signature Negroni with Earl Grey- and hibiscus-infused gin, or the daiquiri reimagined with pistachio cream and honey grappa. (And be sure to throw in an equally stylish order of hand-pulled fior di latte mozzarella or bluefin crudo with tonnato sauce for good measure.)" - Eater Staff

This place is absolutely divine!!! Authentic Italian quality with a very high standard for what they are serving. The atmosphere is very romantic as well. Great happy hour for spritzes and small plates too!

Stopped in midweek for a low-key evening and was seriously impressed. This spot leans cocktail-heavy with an upscale bite menu, and they absolutely nailed it. The Paloma was balanced, bright, and not overly sweet—just the right citrus bite with a smooth finish. As for the King Salmon appetizer? Next level. You can tell the chef doesn’t cut corners—everything from the plating to the ingredient quality felt intentional and elevated. Beautiful presentation, bold flavor. This place delivers on vibe and quality without feeling stuffy. Definitely one to keep in the rotation.

Bar Amorina is a nice addition to The Clayton Hotel. The menu features fun twists on classic Italian dishes and drinks. The service was also great. Highly recommend sitting at the bar. The menu is a bit overpriced but overall good experience.

My favorite spot for drinks with my ladies. Incredible pasta, Italian small bites and THE BEST GIMLET in town! Love the patio and the vibe!

Cute bar and good food! Portion sizes felt a little small. Food felt above average for a cocktail bar which was great. Pasta flavor and cocktails were delicious. Wine they pour felt a little stingy on the portion size but was also delicious. Savored the flavor with every sip and bite but something to be aware of if that will tick you off. Great spot for a date!! Staff was awesome very kind and gracious especially on a busy weekend.

Google
Had an unfortunate cocktail experience here. The two drinks we ordered were pre-mixed and served at an above ideal temperature (much too warm!!). Would suggest being very specific with your drink order to ensure a good cocktail because the house Negroni and olive oil martini just tasted mass produced and very unbalanced. That being said, the service was good and it had a nice atmosphere.

Yelp
Came here for Gurls night and we're surprised to see it was just our group and one other couple in such a beautiful establishment. Turns out it was the March madness championship game and since this bar doesn't have TVs, it wasn't a hotspot for tonight. (perfect for us.) The place is so beautiful with ornate mid century, modern decor and a clean crisp ambience with yellow toned lighting and dark tone, bubble couches We started with daiquiris all around, the pistachio cream was so unique and the egg white really set it apart, this is one of the best drinks I've had in a while We then decided to order something from each of the menu sections and split it all. We tried the Hamachi Crudo, which was incredible, fresh and flavorful with the crunchy texture from the seeds adding an extra layer to the plate. We also tried a bruschetta Caprese style with fresh focaccia, this was amazing, the roasted tomatoes and garlic cloves were to die for - I wish this plate was twice the size. We also had the one of the pinsas which was just ok, as well as the rigatoni pasta, which was also nothing special. The best plate of the night was the truffle gnocchi, it's that the flavor and insanely creamy texture made it a stand out for sure. If not for the rigatoni and pinsa falling a little flat, this place would have five stars! Thank you!

Yelp
Really nice bar in cherry creek next to Forget Me Not. Very nice server but thick accent, a bit difficult to understand. FYI there Zero proof section and non alcoholic soda section both have less than 1% alcohol in them which shocked me. I thought zero proof and non alcoholic legit meant NO alcohol. So I ordered one but it tasted like alcohol (I cannot have alcohol, I can legit die from consuming it) so it was no issue, they made me a fruity mocktail instead which was tasty. but still. The mozarrella pepperoncini (sp) with focaccia was alright. Tiny tiny tiny portion for $$$ of course The salami (sliced meats) dish was tasty. Like charcuterie board without the cheese The tiramisu was quite good as well. SUPER expensive for the portions but that was expected.

Yelp
I got to check them out during their soft opening, and the space is stunning with modern vibes and a chic pink aesthetic. The staff was amazing and I want to give a quick shoutout to our awesome server and the super friendly and amazing staff! If you're looking for a fun cocktail spot, this is definitely worth a visit. What we ordered: Fresh Burrata Caprese: tomato confit, basil, balsamic ponzu, olive oil, sesame focaccia Bluefin Tuna: citrus kosho, tangerine, tonnato sauce, Sicilian oregano Pepe Pinsa Romana: tomato passata, burrata, peppers, basil Radiatore Pasta: a la vodka, basil, parmigiano Tiramisu Cocktails: Espresso Martini, Manhattan, White Negroni, Amaros Best bites & sips: Where Bar Amorina really shines is in their cocktails. My espresso martini (enhanced with amaro) was perfect, and the Manhattan was equally spot-on. Food-wise, the fresh burrata with tomato confit and focaccia was fantastic, and I loved the spicy kick in the radiatore pasta. However, portions felt small for the price--$25 for half a flatbread or a modest bowl of pasta might not justify the cost, even knowing Cherry Creek tends to be on the pricier side. (We had a 50% discount due to the soft opening). The tiramisu, though? Absolute perfection--no notes needed!

Yelp
Was OK... so so wine list, good cocktails, mediocre and overpriced food. Small portions with fine service. So, not bad but go next door to the Forget Me Not bar for more fun and better options.

Yelp
Loved it! Classy and elegant yet a fun hang out with friendly staff and good appetizers and awesome drinks. Probably the best old fashioned in the area, really good! The martini and Manhattan were also good but the old fashioned took gold! Drinks don't come fast and for good reason, you can't rush perfection so sit back, order a nosh and have a good chat!

Yelp
What a pleasure to come check out this new restaurant for its soft opening. We walked into an aroma so pleasant amongst arriving. We sat at one of the bar (they have 2) and were greeted promptly. The service here was impeccable and made our night so fun! The cocktails were yummy and inventive classics. They are a mozzarella bar and they did not disappoint there! Mozzarella was delicious as well as the freshly sliced cured meats. I also indulged in a pasta and yum! Stunning all the way around and look forward to going back!

Yelp
Went and checked out this new bar last night and I was so impressed! The ambiance and service were amazing, I let the bartender Rene serve me whatever he recommended and I loved all of it. Great food, drinks, and service. Will definitely be back!
