Bar At Mueller

Our favorite secret spot in Austin. The fried chicken sandwiches are mind blowing and the bar tenders are great. Happy hour is very good, especially on Tuesdays.

Perhaps my expectations were too high after visiting the tap room at Whole Foods, but this was a disappointment. Small space, limited selection, not terribly clean. Nice bartenders looking a little bored, but very polite. It’s debatable on if it’s the cheapest drink in the area. If you need to have a beverage before you go shopping, then at least it’s convenient.

Nice tables outside and also a square gazebo but the place has gotten progressively better. With $5 good draft drinks, I'll be there. $8 for a Guinness is usually too much for me.

Music loud af. Ordered japanese noodles n they came out drowned in sauce, inedible. I asked for noodles w less sauce n they stared at me. To be fair this is on heb, not the bar i dont think. Any time i eat prepared food at an heb, i regret it. Desperation is not worth it.

Cocktails + rotating craft beer on tap, plus a full bar with daily happy hour specials during the week and food offerings from one of five in store eateries. Certainly not bad for a grocery store bar.

I had BBQ , cousin has Roots ( chicken fried in duck fat) it was great & at HEB

2 dollar Tuesday for draft craft beers.. Best place in town. Also great selection of food and great quality.

This little cafe/bar area provides a nice break from grocery shopping. Stop at one of the food court restaurants, order your food, and eat it here. The bartender was friendly and made a decent margarita. I was surprised how many regulars there were that all knew each other and that the bartender also knew by name. It's like the Cheers of HEB.

We had been meaning to get out and drink at a bar inside HEB. This was really our first day to do so. It is a decent size and has a list of 5 drinks for $5 which is nice. The bartender was friendly and fast, even though there was one guy at the bar who was vying for her attention pretty hard. The drinks were good and we had chicken tenders as a snack which were tasty. It is a little out of our way and with no other good reason to be out there we might not be back but it is not due to service or the drink or food. I wish they would do this at other HEB's We didn't go into the restaurants thought they listed 4 of them, nor the HEB shopping part. The parking lot is huge but the place is very busy. I see some negative reviews but we had a good experience.

My husband and I came here before we went grocery shopping (bc alcohol makes it a little better!) and we were pleasantly surprised. Loved that they have an old fashion on tap. And the outdoor area was nice and surprisingly not loud for being right by the road. My only wish is they would make it where I could take my drink to go shopping with me. Step up HEB! I can drink while shopping at Whole Foods!

There's a little work to be done here. Hence 3 stars. We incurred issues with being overcharged for our tab & no screen to review or receipt to verify. Ordered snacks which were forgotten until we went to retrieve them. A lot of people walking away from their tables with no masks & no signage to remind them of this requirement. A lot of walking back and forth to get drinks, snacks & such. Unless you sit at the bar. Tab has a line for a tip, but there is no table service. No one came by to collect empty glassware or dishes. Draft beer was cold and good. Selection needs a little work with balance. Draft cocktails should specify brands. If the "Bless Your Heart" draft cocktail is made with Tito's, I might order it. Snack that we had were pecans. Good, but would probably not order again. Food hall has better options for snacks. We will try again in a few months when they work out the bugs. We will try the food hall selections in the future though.

This has the vibe of the fake bar on The Rehearsal but it's a funny experience for sure.

Cute little bar, small outside seating but it was still great. Their margaritas were only $4 (happy hour) and they were pretty good! It's attached to H‑E‑B Mueller so there's about 5 different restaurants that you can order food from. Very convenient :) Only thing I was suggest to get would be lights outside for once it gets dark! :)

Bf and I stopped in here for a mid afternoon drink on a Saturday since we just moved to the neighborhood and we're exploring. First of all, we love HEB so the fact that there's a bar inside an HEB was awesome. We sat at the bar and ordered wine and a tap old fashioned. Both were good. The staff were super friendly, engaging, and attentive. Prices were super reasonable. It's pretty much Texas focused in regards to the spirits and beer options which is awesome. We will definitely come back again!
