The Best Cheap Eats in Jacksonville, Florida | Eater Miami

"Just steps from the sandy shore of Neptune Beach and the popular Lemon Bar is a small seaside shack called Bar-B-Q Sticks. The restaurant specializes in Filipino food, and the combos are a deal starting around $6. Each combo comes with a choice of protein on a stick, all marinated in a secret sauce, lumpia, pancit, rice, and vegetables. For dessert, order turon, a fried banana spring roll, for about $5 for ten pieces."

Little tiny food stand at Neptune Beach. Talk to the owner and said they have been there for 20 years. The food was exceptional! They had combo meals which offered rice and lumpia and meat of your choice. They also had sticks of pork or beef or chicken whichever you desired. The sauces were very good and the staff was extremely pleasant. They have their own small parking area directly in front of the restaurant as parking is such a premium at the beach. Highly recommended!

Google
They are so good. I come here whenever I can. Make sure to bring cash, and definitely order the pork bbq sticks & lumpia (the fried plantain lumpia is also incredible, so is the tocino)

I used to live close by when I was a child - my mom would take me here. My partner and I just moved back to Atlantic Beach and I wanted to see if this place was as good as I remember - when I pulled up I noticed the same familiar face of the woman who handed me my lumpia when I was a child. The food is just as amazing as I remembered, if not better. We’ve gone twice in the last week. If I could eat here every day I would - and probably I honestly could, because they’re so reasonably priced!!

Google
Oriental BBQ shack right by Neptune/Atlantic Beach. I've been coming here for years and their BBQ is so good! Very good prices, fast service, and a nice family run spot. They have outdoor seating and parking. I usually just get the chicken and beef BBQ sticks and rice but I'm sure the other entrees are good too!

This is a hidden gem! I was in town for the weekend and learned about it from a local that couldn't stop saying how good it was. As soon as I saw the 2 running the shop, I knew it was going to be good. And they did not disappoint! Prices are spot on and the food is delicious. Do yourself a favor and try the Halo-Halo!

Google
We came to this area specifically for this restaurant, and I would go back if we were in town again. We ordered 15 sticks. Chicken and beef, but I'm not even sure we got beef, seemed more like pork. It was pretty good, but the pieces were small. We also ordered the beef lumpia, they were great, we even went back and got more, in total we had 30. The wait seemed like a lot, but it also was fresh. The pricing here is way better than any other filipino place I have been to in a longgggggg time.

Google
Just a heads up CASH ONLY! They are super close to lemon bar if you want a cocktail. Anytime we are at the beaches we stop here. Its a cute litte shack. Outside seating not a lot of shade. If you love Filipino food this is my favorite. The Pancit has such excellent flavor, lumpia and dipping sauce is on point. The banana rolls are so delicious. Never disappointed when eat here. The chicken on a stick is so tender. I always want more. I wish we lived closer. Definitely worth stopping and trying.

Google
Amazing Filipino food by the beach .. lumpia crunchy on the outside and flavorful melt in our mouth middle.. I was born in the Philippines and this is better than when I was growing up there.. the bar-b-q is decent but great after an HR of chilling at 🍋 lemon bar this definitely hits the spot !! Too bad they close at 730pm #jaxlocalvibes #googlemaps

Yelp
Nice outdoor restaurant that you must visit while in Atlantic Beach! The food is great! The people are nice! No better place to go on a warm sunny day to have a lite meal.

Yelp
What a yummy little spot near the beach. Beware, it is cash only. It was just one guy running the show so the wait for food was about 15-20 minutes. There was a little sitting area or you can take your food to-go. The meatball on a stick and shrimp on a stick were my favorites. The chicken and pork were good as well. Prices were very decent and they had a good selection on the menu. I saw a few more things I want to try next time.

Yelp
This place is a gem. Rare to find such delicious food for such great prices. Love the service, all the employees, and everything on the menu. The sweet banana rolls are a must. Fav place in all of Florida!

Yelp
How did I not know about this quick, tasty Pilipino food shack in Jax until now?! I highly recommend the BBQ Combo #1 which comes with a pork or chicken BBQ stick (chicken was GREAT!), pancit noodles, and vegetable stir fry with a side of rice and lumpia w/ sauce. The front counter server/cook was very friendly and professional. She offered a bag and have us updated for when our meals would be ready. Seating is limited and on wooden benches around tables with pop-up beach umbrellas. There is parking next to it, but you may have to pay the attendant since it is in Atlantic Beach (parking is horrible during busy times but not impossible). Enjoy and embrace this local favorite!

Yelp
Delicious BBQ and everything else. Simple to go but just have to wait a little. This is not a franchise business. It is a local mom and pops / family business. Got to support our local family owned businesses. Cash only and parking is limited is the 2 down side i give this business but it is at the beach side so walk.

Yelp
I knew I could depend on this place for a quick, and delicious meal for 5. Had friends pop into town and they always want Filipino food when they visit. But I had no lumpia rolled and no time to cook after working all day. Ordered 3 pancit, 12 BBQ sticks, and 50 pieces of lumpia. All of this fed 5 for about $60 and we had plenty left over. Super affordable! And delicious. I think any Filipino will say the food isn't as good as their own or their moms, but I'm sure they all agree that it's good. And the BBQ sticks are the best! He makes them exactly how my godfather seasons his--which I cannot duplicate. Such a nostalgic and delicious flavor - savory with a hint of sweet. All made to order, it only took about 20-25 mins.

Yelp
We were just driving around trying to find this place on a busy, late afternoon Saturday. We got lucky and turned right into their mini parking area in front of the restaurant. They apparently stop selling the combos after 4pm and we got there around 5pm. Instead, we ordered bar-b-q sticks (pork and chicken), pancit, beef empanadas, and lumpia. The bar-b-q sticks were my least favorite. They're the most expensive item (they ran out of beef), and were flavorless. It was slightly sweet but nothing else. It was definitely missing some salt and flavor. Beef empanadas seems like a mesh of a ton of random ingredients. It had cheese, peppers, meat, and some other ingredients we couldn't really make out. My husband liked it. Pancit was oily, but good. It tasted like Maggi seasoning! If you're a fan of Maggi then you'll like their pancit. Lumpia was thin but good. Nice sweet chili sauce. All the food was about $25. It's outdoors and very casual. I was really annoyed by a customer who jumped in line ahead of me because she wanted to ask if there was an ATM nearby then she even placed her order. Wtf. People are so rude and simply because you speak Tagalog doesn't mean you get to be rude and disrespect everybody else in line. It's also a bit unorganized as the lady who takes orders is also making the bbq sticks. She asked me twice if I already paid and I guess she didn't mark it clearly on her paper. It gets pretty hectic so I understand. Definitely be patient and your food could take up to 30 mins. People had their orders before me even though they ordered after so I'm not sure how their system works.

Yelp
Delicious food just a little on the expensive side, I got the 20 bbq sticks and the empanadas, which were very tasty

Yelp
Bar-B-Q Sticks on Lemon St, Neptune Beach, Florida, has become my go-to spot for the past three years, and this Mother's Day feast was an absolute delight! Tucked away as a hidden gem, it's a place you don't want to miss. Upon arrival, remember to bring cash as it's a cash-only establishment, so a quick stop at the nearby ATM is necessary. Trust me, the flavors awaiting you are worth it! To start my culinary journey, I indulged in the flavorful Chicken on a Stick, which set the tone for the deliciousness that followed. The Mixed Veggie & Chicken Lumpia added an extra layer of satisfaction, perfectly crispy and bursting with a delightful blend of vegetables and chicken. For the main course, I couldn't resist the mouthwatering Number 8, a combination that included Pansit, Chicken Siopao, and more Chicken on a Stick. Each element was expertly prepared and brimming with authentic flavors that made my taste buds dance with joy. The Pansit was wonderfully seasoned, the Chicken Siopao was fluffy and savory, and the Chicken on a Stick remained consistently delicious. And of course, I can't forget to mention the delightful Turon that served as the perfect finale to my feast. The combination of crispy fried banana wrapped in a delicate pastry was simply heavenly. It instantly became a new favorite on my list of must-have desserts. The attentive and friendly staff made the experience even more enjoyable, providing excellent service throughout my visit. Their dedication to creating a memorable dining experience shines through. Bar-B-Q Sticks has consistently exceeded my expectations, and I am always left eager to return. Whether you're a regular customer or a first-time visitor, this hidden gem is sure to impress. Make sure to bring your appetite and prepare yourself for a culinary adventure you won't soon forget!

Yelp
Wonderful little Filipino shed. Great food! Order a lot of the BBQ sticks, as they are small but cheap.

Yelp
After a little Jeep fun at the beach and early release from school, brought my girls here for an afternoon snack. We picked up bbq sticks and banana/hazelnut empanadas and two bangus (fish) meals to go. (Brought the fish combos to my parents for them to try) When we arrived there was only one couple there already eating. As soon as we finished placing our to go order, a long line quickly formed. We got there at the perfect time. There was only one gentleman working. He had the most pleasant and calm demeanor despite how busy he was. While waiting, my girls and I sat on one of their picnic tables and enjoyed the beautiful weather and sunshine. The banana empanadas were filled with banana, jackfruit, and Nutella. My daughter said it was sooo good. The pork bbq sticks were flavorful and cooked well. It wasn't heavy so it was great to snack on while at the beach. Note: This is a cash only place. Definitely recommend this business. Food is fresh and delicious, service is great, and the prices are fair as well.

Yelp
We made a stop here during memorial weekend before we started our drive back up to atlanta. Super surprised and glad that they were opened on Monday Memorial Day. We visited our friends who lives down in Jacksonville and we were looking for authentic Filipino food. Found this mom and pop place right by the beach. We did a family style and ordered some a bunch of different kinds of skewers to try and garlic rice to share. The skewers were really good and had a sweetness to it from the sauce. It paired perfectly with the garlic rice. We also ordered Pancit to try and that was probably the best Pancit I've ever had. It was so flavorful and herby. We also got some fried pork lumpia and beef empanadas. I've never had Filipino empanada before and wow they were so good! For all four of us we got 15 skewers, 1 order of pancit, 1 order of 3 empanadas, 2 orders of 10 pork lumpia, and 4 garlic rice each and all of that came up to be about only $45. It was so filling but we had to make room for dessert so we tried their Turo which is like fried sweet banana spring rolls. I loved it so much I had to order some food to bring on the drive back home. We got some more Lumpia, Empanadas, and Pancit to go. Even after the next day the food was so so good. I can't wait to drive back to Jacksonville to get some more of their food. They have some outdoor seatings and I love that it was right next to the beach.

Yelp
Cool place! Literally a beach hut right by lemon bar, when we went it was just one woman working inside, she took our order then made it, it took about 15/20 min, the menu is smaller and all Filipino classics, don't miss the pancit, lumpia, and of course the grilled bbq sticks! Everything tasted great, eating right by the ocean and for 2 people our total was like $18 = awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
An absolute gem. Try something new or familiar here. We tried the chicken, steak, pork sticks. Also got the philly cheesesteak spring rolls. All were fantastic. Might look a bit sketchy form the outside, but that just adds to the charm. An excellent lunch spot where everyone can find something to enjoy.

Chris T.

Yelp
First time at Bar-B-Q Sticks and I honestly can't believe people were saying it was bad food. Maybe they didn't come on a good day, but as of 1:51PM, 04/10/24, the food is amazing! Long story short, the food reminded me of my Filipina Mothers cooking! So good, I recommend getting the Buy 6 Sticks get 1 Free! You can mix and match to try Pork, Chicken, and Beef! Service was great and on a nice weather day, seating is very nice! Highly Recommend!

Yelp
Back in Jax from St Augustine and we stopped at Bar-B-Q Sticks in Neptune Beach for lunch. Unless you're looking for this place, you'd never know it was here. But like the cartoon cereal bird mascot says, "Follow your nose," and you can't miss it. The sweet smell of pork, chicken, and beef skewers cooking and caramelizing on the plancha fills the air. I got Combo #1. It comes with lumpia, pancit, garlic steamed rice, and a skewer of your choice of protein. I chose pork and an extra beef skewer on the side. This combo (minus the extra beef skewer and before drinks) is only $5.80. Best value on the beach! For dessert I got Taho; a Filipino dessert made with silken tofu, tapioca pearls, and arnibal. Arnibal is a syrup made with brown sugar and water. I also got Turon; think lumpia but with banana. If you're spending a day at the beach around the Lemon Bar area, go get you some legit Filipino street food from this little stall off the beaten path.

Mckenzie M.

Yelp
The most delicious pancit I've ever had. The person in front of me skipped me in line which was frustrating but she wanted a bunch of food and I only got noodles so mine came out first, fast and hot! On the right day this would be the perfect place to take a date to eat while sitting outside then walk on the beach.

Yelp
Found this place via Yelp and honestly didn't believe it was true. Thought I'd show up and prices would be double or the food would be bad or that it would be closed. To our pleasant surprise it neither were true. And the food was soooo good! My husband and I ordered: - 7 sticks: beef, chicken and pork: guarentee we will order these every day we are at Neptune beach. - Shrimp Lumpia: I've never had lumpia before so I have nothing to compare these to but I thouggt they were awesome. - Philly cheesesteak roll - yes they are as good as they sound! - Beef Empanadas: Amazing. Was expecting south american meat only and was amazed at the flavors that came from the other ingredients- sorry have no idea what exactly it was. - Pansit noodles: similar to glass noodles I honestly feel like we just stumbled upon the biggest hidden gem in all of Jacksonville. Shhhh dont tell anyone its the best kept secret!

Yelp
Hungry after day drinking at Lemon Bar? Eat at BBQ Sticks!!! Quick, easy, delicious. Super affordable and you get a lot for the money. Order at the window and eat at the picnic table outside. Highly recommend the lumpia and the meat sticks. Great for snacking or meal.

Yelp
We've had several unsuccessful attempts at dining here lol the poor guy running it always seems so overwhelmed and could definitely use a hand. We finally got to try it today but he was all out of combo plates so we only got an order of pansit, some pork and shrimp lumpia and beef and chicken bbq sticks. The food overall was pretty good and very decently priced. We waited about 40 mins though. The skewers were good and the shrimp lumpia were my favorite of the two.

Destiny M.

Yelp
The food was good and authentic. The portions were small. Will be going again and trying some of the combos.
google avatar

Yelp
If you are a Filipina/Filipino and you think this is as great as the reviews below? You are desperate, was there today with my wife(Filipina, born and breed in the Philippines). And she was as shocked as I was(lived and still have a house in Cavite after nearly 13 years). The only thing that was good (IMHO) was the Garlic Rice served with each of the combo plates. It appears that they are rationing the food? A pencil is thicker than the lumpia(don't be fooled by my photos)? And who puts BBQ sauce on BBQ sticks(American style)?
google avatar

Rebecca N.

Yelp
OMG! This place has great prices and food! Mom and son run business. We tried beef and chicken sticks, I had number 1 combo, an order of beef lumpia, beef empanadas, and two Ginger Ales. This food was off the chain. The skinny noodles needed a little more seasoning or something, but we really enjoyed this meal in our room at the Sea Horse Motel. They have outdoor seating, but it was too hot to eat outside. Parking:there is a three car parking space for the business. I have tried to stop here in the past, but could never find a parking spot.

Sue F.

Yelp
Worse Filipino food I've had. To owner/cook, it's embarrassing to sell and present this to your customers as "the" Filipino cuisine. And you are in a prime spot location surrounded with upscale restaurants. It's disgusting! If there was a 0 I'd give it a negative zero! Empanada is made with wonton wrapper and turon is filled with over ripe regular bananas that are smaller than a pinky finger. Please don't cheat your customers, Filipino cuisine is much better than what you sell to them.
google avatar

Cesar G.

Yelp
We occasionally stop by this spot when we need a Filipino bite to eat. Parking is very limited so you may have to park and walk (if their parking is full). There is only outside seating available. There is only two people working so it may take a little time to fill your order if others are ahead of you in line. This visit we needed a couple of trays to feed a small party. We ordered trays of chicken and pork bar b que sticks, pancit, and lumpia. The prices are reasonable. Tip: Call ahead if you have a large order so you can just pick it up.
google avatar

Donna W.

Yelp
Wow! This place was so cheap and so YUMMY! Sadly, older cashier lady looks so worried though. Business is so slow, maybe? I felt so bad for them. If I can recommend to the owners, just make bigger portions and charge way more! The empanada was perfect! Shopao and halo halo A+ but the sticks and and overly skinny lumpia are too small. Prices are good so I can't complain! But I think you guys work TOO hard and charge too small. Also it's such a cute place, just have everyone u know help decorate it more: and bring life to this cute shack. Wishing u guys well.

Yelp
A new must have. Had a taste for some lumpia and pancit and came across this low key spot. Some of the best pancit I've ever had. Everything was really good. They're cash only...
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
This place is my newfound gem of the Atlantic/Neptune beach area. Incredibly delicious, fresh, and authentic Filipino food tucked away in a colorful, counter service kitchen with only outdoor seating. The menu boasts tons of Filipino food items such as longanisa, siopao, halo halo, and lumpia. They do catering, to go orders, and you can even call in orders. I will definitely be a regular here. I got the combo platter, siopao, and taho for dessert. You get a ton of food for great value in the combo: bbq meat sticks, rice, pancit noodles, lumpia, and fried banana. The meats were marinated thoroughly and had great flavor. I loved the chicken and pork siopao steamed buns which had a soft and semi-sweet bun exterior and marinated meat core. I'm also a sucker for tofu desserts so the taho was perfection to me - sweet, soft, and malleable tofu chunks with sago pearls. I have many Filipino friends and therefore, have been to many family parties that this food could easily be found at. I promise you it's authentic and that it won't let you down. Definitely stop by for lunch, dinner, or a snack for the beach!

Yelp
Doesn't look like much in passing, but this place is too good not to mention. I tried BBQ sticks recently after moving walking distance and after my dad has told me to try it for years. It's cash only and the prices are very fair and affordable. I always get the pancit, chicken lumpia, and chicken bbq sticks. Actually ended up going twice this past Saturday to get more lumpia! They're fried to perfection and smaller than ones I've tried in the past. They're family owned and I highly recommend supporting this local beach business. The hours during the week are a little tricky so make sure to check before making the trip!
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Casual outdoor only mostly Philippine menu. Reminds me of a small convenience store in the Philippines. It's kind of funny I had a review of the VietThai restaurant the other night and this is what we were looking for so we ended up here now. Ordered barbecue steaks and lumpia Since it's 5 o'clock in the afternoon and they close at six they did not have pork steaks but the chicken sticks were phenomenal. The shrimp lumpia was delicious and the shoe Palace authentic but they did not serve any kind of sauce with it OK
google avatar

Kat C.

Yelp
CASH ONLY!!! Shack of a building, you would never think amazing, affordable Asian food comes out of here. The main focus are the bar b que sticks of course, but you can also get lumpia, pancit, garlic rice, and of course, halo halo and turon (banana lumpia) I highly recommend the combo plates so you can get a little bit of everything.
google avatar

Yelp
What a hidden gem. Tucks within the Atlantic beach Town center. The only way I found this was because I drunkenly stumbled out of lemon bar one day and put it in my memory. I was bike riding during the quarantine and remembered this place was there. They have a slew of options including a la cart however I went for a combo plate. Consisted of a chicken kebab (there are a few meat options), lumpia (Cooke perfectly) noodles, and garlic rice all for under six dollars. The food was so good, my friend who didn't order because she wasn't hungry walked back over to order after she saw our plates. They have some tables out front to sit on but the place is pretty small. It looked like a one man show. Don't be scared it's definitely a shack but it's worth checking out!

Yelp
Luckily found this place where we got a taste of authentic filipino food that is friendly in pocket! Barbecue is a must! Saucy and Yummy! That is highly recommended. If you are not a fatty fans like my american husband then get the chicken one. Taho is really great! Lumpia looks only thin but for the price you won't expect that much right? But even it looks thin, we ate a bunch and all of them have great pack of meats inside. Crunchy and Yummy! Banana Roll or Turon looks different because it is as thin as lumpiang shanghai but once you eat it...oh yummy you will admit it is really Turon and for the price i honestly say it is far worth it. Tocino is best with their garlic rice and egg! The Daing Bangus (Milk Fish) Combo is really worthy too because it was served with half Fish, pancit, garlic rice and lumpiang shanghai i guess 5 or 6 pcs. We ate fast. The Filipino Red Hotdog grilled in sticks is my 4 year old favorite and offcourse the barbecue and halo-halo. Shrimp in sticks are really good too! It is saucy like the pork and chicken barbecue! Me and my husband with our 4 year old son ate here for two consecutive day lunch and dinner! Have to go home tomorrow but when we come back here, this will be our place! Oh and the table and place is clean and very relaxing! Just a reminder to bring Cash as they only accept cash. God Bless this Business! Around those expensive restaurants...this one serve best food with friendly price on it!

Yelp
Man this place is great. We got 34 chicken kebabs, 20 chicken and veggie lumpia's, orientales noodles, and a couple waters Fe less than $60. GE was quick as well. Definitely coming back.
google avatar

Stacy J.

Yelp
You can't take a trip to Neptune Beach without a stop at barbecue sticks! The lumpia is super crispy and freshly made! Everything is reasonably priced and they are super nice!
google avatar

Paulo P.

Yelp
Jeez. What can I say. A mother and son duo, always working hard to put food on your table and theirs. BBQ sticks is prob one of my favorite local spots to eat at before or after hitting the beach, and for the most part, when I'm just craving their food. BBQ Sticks features Filipino cuisine, in small portions. As a Filipino-American, the portions are accurate to what we Filipinos eat back home, and the price is decent. The food is obviously excellent, and if you haven't tried Filipino food, at least try the lumpia or the pork barbecue. There's enough options on the menu to find something you like. Make sure to stop by if you're in the area. Parking is limited since it is the beach area, but I usually find a spot 80% of the time right in front of BBQ sticks.

Yelp
I've had my eye on the Atlantic Beach shack for some time. There's ample outdoor seating, the staff friendly, and the prices are dirt cheap. Seriously, if you're on a budget, this Filipino-themed food stand won't break the bank! My first visit left a sour taste in my mouth, literally. After ordering the Combo #1, the skewered meat had a disappointing flavor. Maybe it was an off night or maybe the grill hadn't been cleaned in a while. However, the Pancit was the real deal. I'd honestly eat an entire box of these noodles. The Lumpia was crispy, but again there was an off-putting flavor. The serving of White Rice hit the spot. Perspective: $6 -- I can't really complain. Whether you drunkenly stumble into Bar-B-Q Sticks or order takeout for a cozy night in, you're more than likely to be left satisfied. If you're looking for a surefire win, I'd save this place for your inebriated stupor.

Yelp
Best Filipino food in Jax! Any of the combos are awesome. Get extra pork sticks. Halo halo - mandatory. Banana Nutella Empanada to finish off... Awesome!!!

Nyla S.

Yelp
Upon dropping a friend off I was treated to a little lunch. I've never heard of this place... but I've been looking for lumpias and I found them here! I believe this is a two man band (one woman and one man) a sweet older lady took my order and suggested the beef lumpias, "they're the best" I should've listened. Instead I ordered half shrimp and half beef. The beef was amazing and the shrimp not so much, BUT I would drive all the way out to the beach again just to spend $2.99 for 10 beef lumpias because they're just that good!!! I didn't try my friends Philly cheesesteak rolls but they looked amazing! I ordered one chicken on a stick and wouldn't do that again... They don't season the meat first and you can tell. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the chicken on a stick and because it takes sooooooo soooooo long!! They accept call in orders so it could be beneficial to call ahead, even if you're eating at one of the huts. The price is great. The customer service is great. The food is memorable.

Yelp
There was one lady working that took the order and cooked the food so there was a little bit of wait. She did greet us but wasn't particularly friendly. Place has it's own designated parking which was nice since parking in the Neptune area can be a challenge. Since it was our first time trying this place, we erred on the conservative side when ordering, and besides we had two big slices of pizza from Biggie's. We ordered the adobo pork combo meal #3, one beef stick and two fishball sticks. The prices were inexpensive, $4.99 for combo and $1.50 for the sticks, however potions were very small. Hubby liked the food but agreed it was greasy. I thought it was ok but a little too much of a sour flavor profile to my liking. It worked out that we didn't order a lot of food. I ended up sampling everything and then filled up with the pizza. For a small place, they did have a lot of choices. May try it out again if hubby has a taste for it and try the empanadas or dessert.

Yelp
Was looking for a little more flavor when it can to the beef sticks, but the chicken sticks and adobo at this spot is the jam. Perfect for relaxing day beachside or chilling in the room of one of the near by hotels on a VDay staycation! Cheap prices and quick ready food. I'll be back BAR-B-Q Sticks

Yelp
I came here with a group of 5 and 3 of us spent the rest of the afternoon throwing up excessively. It ruined our vacation. Ownership doesn't care and are extremely rude. I was telling the bartender at one of the nearby restaurants and he said they're well known in the area for both things. Beware.

Yelp
Quality is mediocre but it tastes amazing! Not always open when they say they are so call first.

Yelp
Food was okay. I ordered the BBQ combo. The combo comes with pancit (noodles), lumpia (egg rolls) and garlic rice. The pancit tasted salty, and looked darker than what I am used to. The BBQ stick had a lot of sauce on it and was ok. The address if input in Google Maps or another navigation platform will take to a house on Lemon St, this place is actually behind that house and BBQ Sticks is actually on Midway St.

Yelp
I live in mandarin and any time I come to the beach, this is a guaranteed stop before I head home. I cant say enough amazing things about this ma and pa place. The family, especially the mother are just the sweetest and most hardworking people ever. Honestly anything you order will be delicious. As for my favorites and not in any particular large order.....ALL the lumpias lol. Chicke, vegetable. Shrimp, spinach and cheese. The barbecue sticks, I always get chicken. My fav and I always order to orders bc i just love it: the pancit!!! The empanadas are really good and by the time we order all of that we dont have room for anything else lol. And let me tell you. Weve come at 630p before and their hours are until 7p.... mama will continue to serve anyone at her window even after 7p, as long as she still have what you're looking for!

Yelp
I always wondered what this little shack was at Neptune beach. A girlfriend turned me on to this place, and I cannot say enough good things about it! Real Filipino food that taste fantastic! They cook everything to order and the prices are very fair and inexpensive!! You get an entire combo for such a low cost! It's nice to sit outside and eat in the breeze! Even if you arrive near closing time, the owners are friendly enough to still cook your meal at the last minute. An AMAZING find!

Yelp
This place is like one of those carts in the Philippines selling street food. Their lumpiang togue (vegetarian lumpia) is on point! Halo-halo has 2 small scoops of ice cream and enough beans, for $3.99 I won't complain. Don't expect huge portions and authentic/gourmet Pinoy dishes, again everything is below $5. Most people pay cash but they accept visa and mc too. I hope they sell fishballs, kwekkwek, and tokneneng in the future.

Yelp
This place is great... awesome bbq sauce and the perfect amount of char on the meat. I prefer the chicken, the steak was a lil tuff and grizzly. Lumpia, small but full of flavor. Authentic and great prices!!! A must for anyone visiting Neptune Beach!!

Yelp
Place was busy when we went. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect for the location, outside eating. They have a lot of regulars who call ahead and everyone seem to like it. I thought it was just a bit pricey for the small portions.
