The Best Restaurants on Portland’s North Mississippi Avenue | Eater Portland

"A pre-show burger and beer at Bar Bar is a longstanding tradition when visiting the adjacent venue Mississippi Studios. It is, after all, a fantastic patio: Movies play, projected on the wall, while musicians and fans sit at picnic tables, dip toasted ravioli in house-made marinara, and nurse IPAs. The bar’s burger is a classic, and can be done standard or plussed-up with onion rings, barbecue sauce, and an egg." - Eater Staff

The Best Portland, Oregon Bar Patios | Eater Portland

"It’s hard not to include every single bar on Mississippi for this map, considering all of the top-tier patios along that street; however, Bar Bar’s is well worth a mention, thanks to its serious burgers, toasted raviolis, and black-and-white movies projected on the wall of the building next door. Sharing a space with Mississippi Studios, Bar Bar’s patio is often packed before or after shows — and on certain nights, you might spot an opener grabbing a burger after the encore." - Nathan Williams

This place is great! The staff were very nice, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere was great and I really appreciated the contrast of the dark, moody, indoor seating, versus the bright, warm, outdoor seating. Our party all got the Combo #3 which I feel like is a great deal! The cheeseburger was very delicious. Juicy, cheesy, great textures all around. I upgraded to the Cajun fries and they were bomb! The normal fries are really good too. I feel like Bar Bar has perfected what they do! Simplistic but leaves a long lasting impression. Two thumbs up!

Google
Service was a walk-up order situation at the bar and the bartender assisted us getting the most bang for our buck as well as beer recs; easy. Sat outside in their wonderful space and the food was ran out quickly. The burger had a unique and simple presentation with a pickle on the toothpick which was a nice visual touch. Dug in and the fries seemed to be the star of the show and not the burger...truly missed the mark on flavor and wasn't much of an experience.

Google
A pretty damn good burger, shoe string fries, light fluffy beer batter onion rings and the fried ravioli is on point! Everything hot and fresh! FYI bacon is very cooked and crispy, pretty sure it was deep fried.

Google
What an incredible space! It was amazing to sit outside and hear the rain on the roof and sit under a cozy heater. The drinks are great and well priced, the fries are amazing, but the burger and chicken sandwich were... Basic, good, but basic. Still, going to make this a regular stop going forward

Going through Portland to return back to Seattle and stopped in to Bar Bar for their burger (it’s burger week I guess). I know this is a picture of chicken tenders but they were AMAZING! They definitely were not drenched in oil and batter. Super fresh and great tasting and their fries ARE SO DAMN GOOD. The place is really clean and has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating available. I’d definitely recommend hitting this place up for food and drink.

I've been here before, I'm sure I'll be here again. Can't pass up fried pickles and cbd soda 🤩 A friend and I were snagging a bite before heading out to a concert. Order at the bar and take your number to your table. We sat outside near an eclectic collection of stickers, cool breezes, and started people watching haha. My friend got a burger and the potato cheese bites and I got a veggie burger and fried pickles. We were both real hungry, but our side portions were pretty generous. We almost finished it all! The lemon cbd soda was a great addition and nice substitute for alcohol as neither of us are drinkers.

We visited one of the Friday evenings in September. Sit outside along Mississippi Ave. Very nice vibe! The burger is also pretty good although the fries was a little cold~ great pricing though! Will come back for sure!

Google
Bar Bar has a great patio, probably one of the best on Mississippi, but the service is seriously lacking. The staff is slow and acts like taking your order is a chore. Drinks are nothing special—just basic dive bar quality—and definitely not worth the wait. If you’re just looking to hang outside, it’s a solid spot, but don’t expect good service.

Yelp
Okay spot with decent beer options. Gruff bartender, but I think he just wasn't feeling the Thursday night crowd

Yelp
Atmosphere: Pretty good atmosphere. Lot of patio space and outdoor seating, including back/side deck with fire pits. Food: Had heard great things about the burger and it was decent, but not that big and nothing special either. Fries were not my cup of tea, but if you like shoestring then they will be for you Price: Price was reasonable. $13 for a Burger, Fries, Soft Drink combo. Service: Depends who you get but overall I've been pretty underwhelmed by the service. Took forever for the burger to come and another time they refused to put the Oregon game on the TV (even though they had a movie with no sound on) Parking: Street parking in the neighborhood. One of the tougher neighborhoods in Portland to park, but it is doable.

Yelp
Location was nicer compare to bars next to it but drinks were very basic and food quality was basic bar food! Smoking is free outside which can be good and bad. Overall you should lower your expectations in Portland! The decoration and ambiance was fun though. I would suggest ordering beers and straight shuts instead of any cocktails.

Yelp
Fries 10/10 whether it be regular or Cajun, perfect shoestring size & great texture Burger & chicken sandwich 10/10 i was expecting the chicken sandwich to be fried not grilled but it was great, the sauce they make really enhanced the flavor! Seem to have a good cocktail menu as well, will come back for drinks!

Yelp
Order: Bar Burger and fry's Pros: Frys were good. Cons: the burger wasnt seasoned and it def. Irked my nerves. Also there was Nothen special about the burger. The guy taken the order seemed uninterested in taking orders. Def. Felt rushed when trying to find the right thing to eat.

Yelp
About last night! Had a wonderful time. Met up with some co-workers after a volunteer event, and here's my take. Pros: small inside, but big, heated outside. Order inside or outside at the window, doesn't matter. Far and good prices--quick service (we were at the outside window). Dog friendly!!! For sure, and everyone are respectful owners. Cons: gets busy as Mississippi Studious does, restrooms could use a clean and staff could have been a touch friendlier. Kinda like "what do you want?'" But, totally okay. Didn't find much that I could eat, which was a disappointment, as someone with food allergies (actually, not in my head, lol), but moving on. Groups, dates, or just meeting folks, recommend. Parking is nowhere...don't get me started. Good luck on that!

Yelp
Nice outdoor seating on the patio perfect for people watching. I had the special, the New Ouster Cult Burger . One of the best 'shroom burgers I've ever had. They should have it one the regular menu, I'd get it every time. Soft, light bun. Arulula just enough greenery for the burger. The assortment of diced fresh mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, lion's mane and shiitake, were sautéed in a flavorful sauce. A slice of white cheese finished it with a nice burger patty. Perfect flavors rounded out by a light mayo sauce. It's a winner! Excellent, crisp onion rings too! They have a music club next door, seems like a good place to spend an evening. At lunch it's great with the day-life on Mississippi Avenue

Yelp
I dub thee the winner of the 2022 Portland Mercury Burger Week. The garlic chile crisp on top of the buttery pillow-like middle and crisp edge bun make it. So damn good! The special cucumber, vodka, and ginger cocktail provided an excellent pairing.

Yelp
We were walking around and the awesome patio area drew us in. It was drizzling but almost every spot was covered and they had outdoor heaters and a fire! Nice selection of some fun beers! I had an Ecliptic Tangerine Sour beer which was yummy! There were a lot items marked as unavailable on the menu, so we decided to just grab some apps rather than have our dinner here. Cajun fries and the T-ravs were awesome! They required proof of vaccination to enter.

Yelp
A great spot for food and drinks located on Mississippi! They have an awesome outdoor patio with a great ambiance -- the music here is always great and they project movies on the wall, too! It's perfect for a more relaxed vibe that's still fun. The tables are spaced apart and kept warm with heaters and it's super easy to order by scanning a QR code on your phone. The servers are very nice and answer any questions you might have. I stopped by for drinks and they have some great cocktails -- I loved every single one that I had (can't remember the exact names but a strawberry drink and minty one too)! They have a great selection of beers too. The food here is solid bar food, and I would recommend the fried ravioli to snack on. Overall, a fun spot to kick back and have a good time!

Yelp
Bar bar is open again so we came in for lunch. I had the burger of the month - George thoroughly good burger, fries, raviolis, and the deep fried pickles. All the sides were good as expected with the fries being skinny and crispy but not too crispy where it was super hard The fried pickles were really good with garlic aioli. It had that acidity that cut through all that breading. The burger if the month itself was okay. It was definitely loaded with the fixings but all of it together was a fairly bland flavor. Had to use a fair amount of ketchup. The outdoor seating was very nice and there was a sanitation station in the middle.

Yelp
I loved Bar Bar on a Covid afternoon in March of 2021. My two vaccinations have settled in, and the outside patio at Bar Bar was safe, filled with an interesting and eclectic group of people. All food and drink are ordered and paid for on line, and magically brought to your table. The staff was polite and helpful. My fried pickles were a gourmet accompaniment to my vodka soda. I had a great afternoon at Bar Bar.

Yelp
Amazing vibe and drinks . Went on a Saturday night and enjoyed the ambience . Their food wasn't that great but the drinks were worth it

Yelp
*This review is specifically for Burger Week* I try not to give one star reviews because you never know if the restaurant is just having a bad night, but after seeing a handful of one star reviews over the last two years for Burger Week here, it seems like maybe Bar Bar needs to adjust a part of their process or stop participating in Burger Week. We stopped by because their special burger sounded delicious and we were super excited to try it. It was really busy and we were told right off the bat by the person at the door that food was a 40 minute wait -- not a problem, totally expected since it's Burger Week. We ended up waiting almost 2 hours (got there at 8pm and received food at 9:50pm) for our food, and when it was finally delivered the burger was cold and the patty was pretty burnt/rock hard. The cheese had also congealed like it had been sitting for a while, which I don't think was the case since I finally caved and checked in with the waiter right before and he had told us it was coming in a couple minutes. So I assume it's not a matter of food ready waiting to be served (maybe it was the a/c blasting in the bar/food prep area, it was freezing and we had to move). Either way, the taste of the burger itself was also lacking, and I ended up not finishing it even though we had waited 2 hours. I know it's a stressful and busy time for the staff so I do want to be understanding of that. In the future, management should probably schedule more staff for the week, implement some sort of staggered dining schedule so wait times aren't 2 hours long for an underwhelming burger, or rethink their participation in Burger Week.

Yelp
I've been eating at Bar Bar for years now and find it an all around enjoyable experience. Service is great, atmosphere is great, food is great and I love the music they play in the background. It's my favorite restaurant on Mississippi Avenue and it's always a winner with family and friends.

Yelp
Glad that this spot is still open during COVID, great spot and consistently good. Bar Bar is in a poppin location right on Mississippi Street. It is an absolute must to stop by to grab a good cocktail or some of the best burgers/fries in town. Their menu is simplistic and limited, but they know what they offer and they do it well. Due to COVID they only have outdoor seating but it is a great outdoor space. They've cleaned the area real well. You order at the window and they bring the food out to you in a paper bag. Felt clean and safe. Can't go wrong with a burger, fries and a beer for $12!! Can't wait to have events back up and running at Mississippi Studios!

Tom K.

Yelp
Yes we enjoyed our burgers very much. We were up visiting my daughter and her boyfriend who live down the street . A straight forward cheese burger with just the right of available condiments, I can't complain. And won't. Considering I was constipated the day before, and if you have ever shared that experience, you know your appetite disappears. So does your thirst. It's very important to ,even if it is a struggle, make sure to drink water, Gatorade, Liquid IV , or Pedialyte (the best all of them). Anyhow, working your way back to eating , your stomach can be picking and limiting. The Bar Bar Cheese Basic burger though is a first step. And for that I am grateful.

Yajaira M.

Yelp
Love the burgers here! Ordered a to go and they put it into different boxes so it wasn't soggy when I got home.

Yelp
You know who has been killing it all through COVID? Bar Bar, that's who. A huge, mostly-covered patio where it's easy to social distance and feel safe-ish with plenty of air circulation (and heaters to keep you warm), they were one of the first places I saw to have a good system of ordering and paying from your table, with staff running out your food and drinks. Speaking of which, they have a better than average beer and drinks list, and the food is reliably good "bar food". They serve a damn good burger, which I feel most of PDX knows by now. If you don't, go get you one. They still show fun movies projected up against the wall, which is a nice treat. And they play reliably great music. Bar Bar is one of those spots that was able to make the transition seem not quite so jarring, and drinks on their patio feels dare-I-say almost normal. Good job.

Yelp
Here's the Bar Bar SOP: grab a table, go to the window, place your order, tell them your table number, and wait to be served. There wasn't much of a line, and it moved pretty quickly due to this efficient setup that doesn't create a bottleneck at the register. We ordered a couple of cocktails and some fried pickles, which were pretty amazing, coming in cute little chip-like form factor and paired with a tasty (chipotle?) aioli. Strangely, they must have had some alternate menu up for the day, because I cannot recall the names of, or locate either of the drinks we ordered on their current menu. Whatever they were called, I had the rum punch drink, while my wife had some sort of orange creamsicle concoction, both of which were larger than expected, although not particularly stand-outish. Still, the vibe here on a warm, sunny Sunday is picturesque and near-perfect, with a cool breeze blowing under the awnings between buildings. This was one of several stops on our walk down the Mississippi, and I'd definitely come back for just the ambiance, and another bag of fried pickles!

Yelp
this place is just not it. our group got burgers and they were all overcooked and chewy - which was disappointing for how expensive they were. the fries tasted like funnel cakes which was weird? the cajun fries were heavily over seasoned. the salad was a stale pre-shredded salad mix with ranch mixed into it and burger buns used as croutons. just extremely disappointing given that portland is a foodie town. 2 stars for friendly staff and good beer. can't see myself coming back for the food :(

Yelp
security took his job way to serious. double checked my fiances ID and assumed they were fake. I was recommended this place by a friend about the place being nice and it was but with the young man as security with being rude I didn't not want to be there at all so we left. Moloko was amazing though ! maybe when Porn stasche isn't there as front door we'll come back and actually be able to enjoy the food and beer. bartender was nice!

Yelp
Ryan had a Combo. burger & fries & Diet Coke. $12! deal! it was a wonderful way to end his 10/10 day! He is very happy to be going to a show with special people tonight!

Yelp
Tl;dr: Patio is fully open with ordering on your phone! Burgers were great, onion rings were a bit clumsy, but fries were money. Grad school is a tough time and we would often find ourselves needing some relief; this is where Mississippi Ave comes in. A good amount of us lived around the area so it would be an easy jaunt over to the hip street which we did on an almost weekly basis. A few drinks here, and few drinks there, but we would usually find ourselves lingering a little longer for some drinks and bites on the patio at Bar Bar. The days of casually walking along Mississippi to escape our grad school nightmare are gone as we all have graduated, so I was excited to return to ye ol' faithful this past weekend. We had our pup so I was excited to see that their patio was still fully open and pet-friendly like it used to be. We went on a Saturday just past the lunch hour to join the crowd of leisure drinkers and snackers. We had absolutely no trouble finding a table toward the back away from the front entrance (Hazel gets too distracted watching people pass to relax) and promptly scanned the QR code to order food. The whole transaction happens on your phone which made it easy to order individually or together as a group. We ordered a burger each, fries, onion rings (we were hungry okay) and two cocktails. OH! We also got a puppy patty for Hazel which is just a plain patty without seasoning chopped up. The burger was stacked well and juicy! The onion rings were a little salty and about half of the serving was in pieces and falling apart. The shoestring fries were perfect! I had to ask for a side of ranch to dip things in. A server came to offer water to Hazel which she gladly lapped at in between bites of her puppy patty. We left very full (and a little greasy feeling) and satisfied just in time to catch a match at Providence Park across the river for Thorns vs. Red Stars.

Yelp
This place is really fun! I would have to say my favorite part about it was all the outdoor seating it's super accommodating in all aspects for weather! Plus it's on the Mississippi ave so lots of fun happening all around. Plus they do lots of live music which I love.
google avatar

Yelp
Typically I've had decent experiences here. Nothing special, just a good local spot for an average burger and beer while chilling with friends. But this time the bouncer was on a power trip and was incredibly rude and argumentative for literally no reason. You're better off skipping this place and taking your money elsewhere where the service is better.
google avatar

Roger M.

Yelp
Great convivial location in the cool Mississippi District. Lots of outdoor dining on the street, the side and back of the bar. Excellent area with lots of tables well spaced to comply with pandemic guidelines. Walk up and order your brew on tap with a juicy Painted Hills grass fed burger on a delish bun with the right mix of cheese and condiments. Servers deliver to you table.
google avatar

Yelp
So happy we checked out this bar. I had the best time hanging out by the fire with friends. I ordered a drink "The Idealist", the drink of the month, in homage to black history month. The drink was a ginger strawberry lemon gin cocktail . I ordered a seasonal shrub cocktail that was really tasty. I would definitely go again :)
google avatar

Yelp
This is ons of my favorite bars to go to when in Mississippi area. I come here for their regular burgers and shoestring fries. It's always a plus when they participate in burger week! I get to enjoy the food and drinks here along with their special burger. The place is pretty spacious as they have an outside seating area that's bigger than the interior. You order at the bar when you get in our on the other side from the outside. As mentioned. They have some very addicting fries. The burger special was pretty tasty and I would recommend it to others. Overall, a cool, fun place to hangout with friends and enjoy a good time.
google avatar

Yelp
I really don't have much to say about this place. The outdoor area looked cool and o hear they have some pretty good live shows. Don't bother with the food. Fries were pretty good. Burger- small, lukewarm, no taste. Chicken- didn't realize they were vegan strips- not good. Chicken sandwich- bland and tasteless. Tots- not actually tots and not enjoyable.

Yelp
Honestly what a great bar! the patio outside is big. I had a great time. the vibes were really chill and I love the classic films they had in the back patio. Everyone seemed so chill. There was great music, I highly recommend. The drinks were good! The only thing that I noticed was the bartender looking upset and rushing us to order when nobody was ordering drinks and everyone was just standing around... oops but cmon everyone likes to chitchat ;) Overall definitely recommend! Can't wait to go soon. O

Yelp
On July 21st, we came here with about 14 people and I know the setting is more romantic and quiet, so we stayed in the back as to not disturb the rest of the guests towards the bonfire and bar area. And I get it, it's not a sports bar. But we had our out of town guests here for our wedding and Bar Bar was the first place we wanted to show them because we LOVE Bar Bar. One of the 3-4 bartenders would roll his eyes and let out a big sigh any time anyone of our party ordered a drink. I thought it was because we ordered 8 beers at a time (which is a lot) and so we would tip him almost 25-30 percent, but then I watched as a cousin of mine ordered just ONE and still, the bartender had a pissy attitude; slamming glasses, huffing and puffing, rolling his eyes. At one point, 3 of us went to order drinks and he left the bar to go get a co-worker of his to handle us and that's when we felt he had something against us. We get it, we will leave. So we finished our drinks and went next door to Moloko where ONE bartender served all of us in the most positive attitude ever. That's where they got our tips and where we spent the rest of our money that night. It sounds pretty entitled and I have worked in this industry before, so we tip well and ask in the most polite way. But the groom and I were EMBARRASSED that we brought our guests there just to be treated like outsiders. Not going back.
google avatar

Shirley V.

Yelp
There's a security who takes himself and his job way too seriously just waiting to kick people out and all the staff act like they hate their job. The order at register, low and low vibes is not worth the outdoor patio seating which isn't that aesthetically pleasing either so save your time and money for people who care.
google avatar

Ct T.

Yelp
Came here to enjoy the Mississippi street vibes and for a few drinks with a couple of friends. What killed our mood was one of the male bartenders. I don't know what's up with him the night we went but he was straight up not having it. Huge mad attitudes and his body language told us he wasn't having it with his customers. All we did was order a few beers and put in our order for food. The line was not even long and other customers in front of us were being helped so I don't know what was the issue. He needs to get talked to cause bar bar isn't gonna be poppin with him there. If you are going to work with customers, know how to lighten up cause at the end of the night when y'all about to close out and you go home wondering why you didn't make much tips, well think about it. Ugly attitude ain't gonna get you no tip. Hope he gets taken care of.

Yelp
I got the oyster burger of the month, veggie style, and my friend got the oyster burger as is. The Cajun fries are a small and so plentiful! I usually get the fried ravioli, but I am so happy I branched out! Delish and excellent service per usual. Indoor and outdoor seating options - with a historic venue attached! Make sure to go all the way to the back for more seating!

Yelp
Went for burger week. Took 1 hour to get one of the worst burgers I've ever had. It is cold and burnt at the same time. Not even worth 6 dollars.

Yelp
There's a very cozy casual atmosphere in the narrow, tiny main restaurant/grill/bar area to one side of Mississippi Studios concerts. It's a popular place, but the volume of traffic easily gets way too clogged up against the narrow indoor tables against the wall. The menu layout is cute, creative, and large, on one sheet, with many different types of burgers/toppings and the best shoestring fries. My date and I arrived early our first time visiting, nearly two hours before the multi-act concert began, because of pouring rain, and parking was challenging, but since this is a very trendy area, no surprise on that! People were turned away as the concert got closer. Luckily we had reserved tickets. They must not have expected to get so slammed! Unless you order a few things/doubles to share and try, the portions are on the small side, which is fine for drink snacks. Just don't expect the timing of food arriving to help you line your stomach. Maybe it also was bad timing during a shift change; looked like it. Anyhow, we were told they weren't serving food yet, but food was outside in the huge covered patio area for some people. Next, after some time, we checked back, and were told the register near the grill was acting up. They couldn't tell us when we could order food to go with our brews. I don't think they bother to grill the meatless option; the texture was microwaved. I'd had my meat for the day already. The regular beef burgers smelled delicious, so I ordered wrong. Lesson learned; Try not to eat here when it's slammed, or if it looks they don't have enough staff for the volume of traffic. However, maybe you'll luck out on timing.cute atmosphere, and fun

Great food at good prices. Atmosphere is awesome and friendly. Great drinks at good pricrs. Loved the unique flavor of everything

Yelp
I came to see a friend's band playing next door and decided to order some food before they went on stage. When I got to the counter, I was greeted by the redhead bartender who had a very snippy attitude. I asked for the #12 combo meal and when I got my number, I proceeded over to a table and waited for well over half an hour for my food while drinking the flattest tasting Coke I've ever had. FINALLY, one of the servers recognized that I still had not received my food and asked what I ordered. I was a bit irritated to find out that my order either got lost or wasn't put in. Food was okay, but I don't know if I will come back here again. Seems like it's run by hipsters with bad attitudes. The only thing they have going for them is the atmosphere and the music venue next door.
google avatar

Heidi R.

Yelp
Placed my order. Got my number. Asked if we could put my friends on the same number so they will come out together. He said no we can't do that it would confuse the kitchen. Ok so then I get my burger and theirs came out 20 minutes later after I ate mine. Such bad service, when I spoke with the manager she just blew me off. Had a hungry kid waiting on her food. Not cool.

Yelp
I really want to like this place - Mississippi Studios is great and movies projected onto the wall in the patio area is dope. That's where the positivity ends unfortunately - the staff is consistently rude, particularly at the 6/19 show last night. We stood and watched two of the staff have a conversation for five minutes before the girl finally rolled her eyes to come over help us - after saying "One second" and awkwardly shifting a few things around the bar before asking what we wanted - in a way that made us feel like we were inconveniencing *her*... another bartender refused to move his feet to walk to the iPad where they had been queuing us all night long. He was standing behind the same bar that we were standing in front of.... He stared at us from two feet away before we shuffled sidewise to get in front of him and asked "can we order with you?" With attitude he replied "yeah I'll help you *right here*" lol umm.. okay. Still had to go back to the iPad to pay lol... Oh, and my shitty cheeseburger arrived cold because they clearly didn't time it with the fries. So I paid extra for cold cheese. :) Just go to Mississippi - get dinner (and a better burger) anywhere else beforehand, and only go into Bar Bar if you like the movie on the patio or you're already drunk

Yelp
Went here for Portland burger week. The stuff was friendly and the food came fast. But the burger itself was horrible. it was way over cooked and dried out. Too bad because it sounded like it could have been a good burger

Yelp
This might be a Burger Week issue because it was super busy, but that was truly the worst burger I've ever had. Tasted like a school hot lunch burger. We were told it'd be an hour and a half wait for burgers, but that was fine because the seating is nice and they've got good cocktails. But after close to 3 hours we finally asked if our burgers were coming and they said they must have lost our order. The server was very apologetic and gave us free beers, but we still waited another ~20 minutes and saw multiple other groups get burgers before ours finally came. The burger were lukewarm, dry, with no flavor. I've had burgers here pre-pandemic and they were good, so this was definitely surprising. If you just want to sit outside and have a cocktail, this is a great spot! Lots of seating, tons of different sized tables to work with different group sizes. 5/5 stars for that. But for food and drinks, 2/5. I appreciated that they're checking vaccination status!! Didn't add any time to get in, easy peasy

Yelp
4 stars for the drinks & the outdoor area! Bar Bar was a great spot to stop by with our group of 5. The space is so unassuming and really opens up once you reach the patio area. Super casual and great to hang around since it's well lit and there's a food menu. I looked online and you can even reserve the patio. Can't comment on the food, but they had a delicious raspberry cider. It was light in flavor so a great summer drink that doesn't make you feel bloated. They even have a rotating cocktail on their menu if you're not feeling something on tap or in a bottle. Drinks are reasonably priced but after reading reviews it seems I need to come back to try their burgers. Sign me up!

Yelp
Good food, and great compromise for serving the community and keeping people employed during the pandemic. They accept to-go orders at their burger window. Thanks ! The fried pickles were the star of our meal.

Yelp
Wtf happened to this place??? I used to love Bar Bar, haven't been since before the pandemic, went this weekend and don't think I'll be returning to even see a show in the venue. Reading other reviews, it seems like other folks have had similar experiences with the staff. As someone who has been in the industry for a while, the staff's general disinterest seems more like a direct reflection of the management/owners. based on other reviews, it sounds like management is just as rude. Treat your staff right (maybe give them a livable wage) and I bet their attitudes would improve. Also, there is a noticeable lack of diversity amongst the staff. Yikes. I don't know if management has changed over the years, but the overall quality seems to have gone way down while the prices have gone way up. RIP to my favorite margarita. Literally both mine and my friends cocktails were on tap instead of being made by the bartender. I think I even saw wine on draft lol. Bad vibes and tacky menu (liquid death...really?) This is my first time leaving a review and I'm only doing this bc I know how great this place can be.. Needless to say, I'm sad to see this place go downhill.

Yelp
5 stars for service 5 stars for atmosphere 3.5 stars for cocktails Beer selection is nice - have been very happy with the options 4 for food I was completely underwhelmed and a bit disappointed with the chikn sandwich. Idk what they use, but it's like three puny chickn tenders that barely get the job done and awkwardly sit on the bun. Burgers are average... but they taste GOOD. Seasoned and cooked very well. The French fries here are THE TRUE CHAMPION. Fried pickles and other snacks bites are also very yummy.

Yelp
This place has the most beautiful patio! Tons of outdoor seating with heaters. that you can press a button to turn on if you're cold. They have fun drinks, even a bartenders choice one which was delicious. I also felt their drinks were a fairly good price with most cocktails being under $10. For good I got the "T-Ravs" which were Deep fried raviolis and they were delicious! They were perfectly fried and not greasy or heavy. My boyfriend got the burger and fries and enjoyed them as well. This place is great for a gathering with friends or a casual date night.
