I love this place! I heard about it maybe two years ago but didn't get a chance to go until last year. I was thinking about going this weekend and wondered why I never wrote a review for them! Bar Bella is located in Bell Works, the old telephone building that was transformed into a chic public space. When you first walk in Bell Works, you need to walk straight back and you will run into Bar Bella. Bar Bella isn't your typical bar, because many times I have seen children and dogs with their parents. They have theme nights, usually from 4-10pm, that feature different genres of dance and music. But, some nights, there is just ambient music playing and the bar is still open. Also, this bar is more of a space where people can gather and drink, not a traditional bar. They close at 10pm but the actual building of Bell Works is open until 12 am. So, you don't have to leave the building, you just can't stay at Bar Bella. When we go, we use it as a first stop and then leave and go elsewhere later. You can also choose to stay at Bell Works. They have a beautiful manicured outdoor property you can walk through and a large indoor space to hang out.
While relaxing after Bar Bella, you can play at their huge Foosball table with friends while enjoying a beverage. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available and I have had both. I enjoyed a non-alcoholic drink last time that was made with lime and soda and was so refreshing since it was a warm, summer evening. I appreciate the variety of tables they have, both long and short. This makes it nice to gather with friends at a long table or have a more intimate conversation at a short one. Bar Bella has an amazing outside. They have igloos and fire pits sent up for when the weather gets cool. There is fake grass and outdoor chairs set up and you can easily move the chairs around to gather with friends. I have been to Bar Bella for about five times and have enjoyed each time at this trendy little bar.
