"Ask a group of random Buffalonians where to find the best wings in the city, and they’ll probably utter the words “Bar-Bill.” We’re here to confirm their greatness. Just south of the city, tucked in the charming Americana village of East Aurora, these wings deliver the perfect trifecta: shatteringly crisp skin, succulent meat, and expertly brushed-on sauce. Yes, they actually use a paintbrush, ensuring every wing is evenly coated without getting soggy. There are a ton of flavors, but it’s all about the hot wings, cajun medium, and cajun-honey butter BBQ—the same wings Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen famously polished off 40 of in one sitting." - David Neimanis

"Bar Bill Tavern possibly has the most recognizable wing in town. The signature serving style includes hand painted wings that are delicately placed in a circle with flats on one side and drums on the other. Head to the original location in East Aurora, but definitely be prepared for a wait. Beautiful wings take time. If you’re looking for a suggestion, order the honey butter barbecue Cajun style, which Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen proclaimed as his favorite wings in town." - Tori Allen

"The sauce is tangy, sweet and bright. Dip them in Bar-Bill’s homemade blue cheese for another savory layer. The taste of honey comes through stronger in these wings than that of Cajun spices, so this is the place to bring friends who have a sweet tooth. The particularly heat-averse can order these wings without the Cajun seasoning. While you can get your wings to go, my advice is to secure a patio table at the original East Aurora location (185 Main Street). The endorsements of Bills players and many a Buffalonian means Bar-Bill gets busy on the weekends." - ByAlana Pedalino

Google
Amazing wings, my favorite in Buffalo. They are seasoned very uniquely & not your typical franks red hot. They are clean bones & they are cooked to perfection. The quality of wings are unmatched. I will gladly pay the price for a good clean wing with all the amazing flavor profiles they have to offer.

Google
Search no longer-- BEST WINGS IN BUFFALO! If you miss the cajun honey butter BBQ wings, you've done yourself a total disservice!! They're outstanding! Service was great. Def a sports pub atmosphere.

We brought friends from Florida to show them the great food we have in WNY.They enjoyed the food so much they ordered another beef on wex to take with them for the plane ride home. We went on a Saturday around 1pm , there was a 45 min wait but in 15 we had a table. It was busy but it's worth the wait .You have to get a beef on wex, but the fried cheese curds, onion rings and wings were very tasty as well.

I am from Detroit and my wife and I were in Niagara on the Lake for our anniversary and we took day trip to Buffalo to explore. We wanted to try and best wings and ventured to Travern Bills and our expectations were 1000 times met. The Cajun Butter Honey BBQ were amazing! The homemade blue cheese was also amazing. It was also our first time trying a beef on weck and it was delicious! I wish my stomach was bigger so I could have just kept on eating! We sat at the bar and our service was also spot on and everyone was so nice. Hope to come back one day (maybe a Bills game!), so I don’t have to keep dreaming about it all forever!

Google
Wings were phenomenal. They were crispy and the sauce was great! The beef on weck was a little overcooked but very tender. The au jus sauce has little to no taste. The service was pretty bad. The were rude and acted like they could care less to be there.

Google
When I tell you 🧑‍🍳💋 I mean it. The wings are delicious and meaty the flavor is outstanding especially the honey butter BBQ I also got waffle fry’s but as you can see they are GONE very well seasoned and light & THE BLUE CHEESE BEST out there especially homemade

Google
This place was literally so good we had to come back for one last meal on our last night in town. Wings were amazing, beef on weck was good too. Great sports bar with delicious food, good service, and chill atmosphere. Sauced wings were brushed so not overly sauced like a lot of places. Waffle fries with cajun seasoning were so good. The wait is definitely worth it. 🙂‍↕️🤤

Some of the best wings I’ve had in a very long time! JA17 knows where it is at with the Cajun Honey Butter BBQ! Go Bills!

Yelp
Visiting from Efland NC with family from Springville NY Nice little wing bar walked in with a party 7 and immediately got seated. And then the crowd got there. Filled up and a line outside. I knew I was at the right place. Great wings the wife had the Beef on Weck and loved it. Thank You for the great service and food.

Yelp
Got there at 11:15 on a Saturday, there was a line at the door. Wait was fine, the weather was beautiful in East Aurora that day. We luckily got a table right away. Our server, don't remember his name but he has a very distinct voice, was great. The wait for food was a while, but we knew that going in, and that's what happens when everybody gets sat at once. The wait however, was worth it. We got 30 wings and split a beef on weck and the pretzel sticks. Everything was top notch. Mediums were hot, spicy bbq had great flavor, and the Josh Allen wings (Cajun honey butter bbq) had good flavor, but they just weren't for me (they tasted exactly like lays sweet mesquite bbq chips). Overall, great experience. As always, expect a wait no matter when you go.

Yelp
When in Buffalo... I heard that Bar Bill was the place to be for the best buffalo wings in Buffalo. And they are pretty darn good. My favorite was the Sicilian wings, parmesan buttery goodness. The fries also deserves some respect too. Although they were advertised as shoestring fries but were actually more regular cut. But they were still crispy and delicious regardless. We actually didn't sit down in the restaurant because there was a 90 minute wait. Ya this place is popular. So we actually went to their to go entrance around the back of the original store. And there we were able to get our food in about 20 minutes. The staff was very helpful and the space gives the vibe of an old town watering hole. Very welcoming and in character. Overall the wings were good. But I'm sure there are tons of places and Buffalo with good wings. So no need to do the hours long wait. P.S. Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo. (google it )

Yelp
You know a restaurant is good when there's a line out the door before they even open. We arrived as soon as they opened and ordered wings, salad, and a set of sides. I normally don't like blue cheese, but I absolutely loved it! I definitely recommend it, and you can even purchase some to take home. Now, I can't eat wings anywhere else after coming here. I guess I'll have to make another trip back in the future!

Megan K.

Yelp
Incredible! My family took us here for dinner and I'm so glad they did. Everything was great! Service, food, beer. They were packed and we waited 30 mins to be seated for 5 people. We were told they're known for the beef on weck and chicken wings so I knew I had to get both. There was so much roast beef piled on the sandwich. Bread was fresh, not thick, flavorful, and airy. The horseradish and dip on the side was awesome, I didn't even think the sandwich needed it, it was exceptional with or without. The pickle and chips were good too! The hot wings were nice and spicy, perfectly crispy too! I haven't had exceptional wings like that in a while. Everything went great with the house lager as well. I'd definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again :)

Yelp
This place was hyped up by everyone I know from Buffalo as having the best wings and it didn't disappoint at all. We got there at 12PM on Saturday and waited an hour to be seated. It was mobbed, but the wait wasn't too bad. There is a beer store/bar next door that you can go grab a drink in, which is exactly what we did. I was told to get the Cajun Honey Butter wings and Medium wings. The Cajun Honey Butter is outrageous and I think it's the best wing I've ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly, nice and crispy and moist on the inside. They were sauced perfectly...and the blue cheese. Get extra, it's AMAZING. The medium wings were great too, but we were told the medium is hot at most other places - maybe so, but I wanted a little more heat than they brought, so next time I'm going with Hot. We also had a Beef on Weck, which we watched be prepared for us. A little horse reddish on it and dipping it into the jou took me to another planet. How can a sandwich that's so simple be SO GOOD? I will get this again when I go back. The beer selection was decent. I had been hoping for a pumpkin ale (I know, it's basic), which they didn't have. I settled for a Sam Adams Oktoberfest and a Big Ditch Hayburner. Both were great. Service was great too. Our waitress was a sweet older woman who was really welcoming. Ambiance - it's an old school tavern in all the best ways. Cramped as hell, but still awesome. It's a whole vibe. I loved it here and I can't wait to come back and take friends here. Side note - while we were next door grabbing a beer, we saw several people order take-out from Bar Bill and then eat it at the tables inside. This seems like a pro level move if you don't want to wait to be seated inside Bar Bill.

Yelp
Everything went well, it's food is magnificent. As soon as it's done they bring it out. Everyone is so friendly and care about your experience there. It may be loud but what do you expect ? It's a bar and they are that good. I recommend making a reservation because if you don't you might get caught in a 3 hour wait.

Michelle D.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and was not expecting the place to be packed on a Monday but it was. We grabbed seats at the bar and the bartender was friendly and on top of everything. We ordered wings and fries and they were delicious. The wait for our food was slow but the place was packed so to be expected! It was like a Bills after party with the amount of people in Bills gear!

Alice M.

Yelp
My first time visiting this fabulous bar. The food was amazing. The place was unique and cozy. Service was unbelievable with large serving portions

Claire S.

Yelp
Amazing as always. Went on a Saturday around 2. There were 5 of us. Waited only 25 minutes for a table. Got the seasonal cranberry mule. Lemmon pepper wings and Cajun honey butter BBQ are our favorites. The waffle fries were also delicious. A favorite I keep coming back to!

Brooke C.

Yelp
Had a wait, but you can track your place in line on your phone. Sauces made in house. Great blue cheese, expect a smoother texture and mild flavor. Obviously had to order wings! Medium (classic and our favorite) had a good amount of heat without a burn. Borderline addicting. Cajun honey butter bbq was so saucy in a good way. Sicilian (garlic parm) was a great non-classic choice. Wings are the perfect combo of moist meat, crispy skin & enough sauce to keep it from being sloppy. Pizza logs were pretty good, comes with four. Service was attentive and friendly.

Rachel G.

Yelp
Went for the wings-extra hot-and they might be my favorite wings in Buffalo. With my kid going to school there I have tried MANY, and these lived up to the hype. There was quite a lot of people wanting to get in when we went, but the line went super quick. Servers were on their game too. Worth checking out for sure!

Rebecca I.

Yelp
Hands down best wings in the country. My fiancé had dreams about them. There no reservations and the place is small so expect to wait, but the wait is worth it. The service was also amazing. I will go back every time I'm in Buffalo for sure.

Gary Z.

Yelp
Legendary for good reason Bar Bill Tavern excels in every facet of operation. Not only is everything delicious they also give you lots of options. Fresh carved beef on weck is available in 3 sizes. Many creative wing sauce options and all of them delicious. You can specify all drums or all flats for an order for an additional charge too. Their bleu cheese is exceptional. Cash only and no reservations. Get there before 11:30 AM on a Saturday or Sunday to be seated immediately. Bonus: Birch On tap!

Diana L.

Yelp
Stopped through Buffalo for a quick weekend trip and had to try out some local wings! We picked Bar Bill over other recommendations since they had a few more flavors than just Buffalo, and we were so happy we did. The honey butter bbq was a group favorite (I loved the extra flavor in the Cajun honey butter bbq though). We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday and waited ~45 min for our group of 3. The fried garlic cheese curds were super flavorful, very garlicky, and very delicious. I'm so glad we decided to get a mini beef on weck to try too - it was moist and the dip was a perfect pairing. There's 2 hr street parking available which was super convenient!

Esther L.

Yelp
This was the highlight of my vacation. I love wings and wanted to stop by on our way back from Niagara Falls. There were so many options but we decided to try here and it did not disappoint! Service was good. Wings were delicious. I def wanna come back to do a wing trail and would come back here again. P.S. the server warned me their hot is hot- sooo true, it was perfect heat for me but my hubs couldn't take it. Haha

Toby D.

Yelp
1 hour wait which I totally get because this place is super popular. We had a beer next door at Aurora Brew Works while we waited. Once our name was called we were escorted to a table in the back next to the kitchen. It was then that we realized the table we were seated at was literally 2 feet from the women's toilet! It was difficult to have our meal so close to all the traffic going in and out of the kitchen while a steady stream of ladies were using the toilet just a few feet from my food. It took some effort to focus on our wings instead of all the squatting going on next to me. I think the wings were good though... To the folks at Bar- Bil EA - this table has no business being there. Please think about removing it!

Ken J.

Yelp
Best wings and RB on weck anywhere. No, really. Best. Wings. Best. Beef. And damn good kummelweck. The wings were absolutely perfectly done, with just the hint of crunch. We got the hot Cajun honey sauce, which was phenomenal - get that. You can get the traditional sauce next time. There's a ten wing minimum order. Why only ten? There's no way I could stop at, like, three or something. We split a medium sandwich, and that was just right for two kinda old people who'd been eating too much all week and also needed to make room for the WINGS. Use some horseradish, but not too much because it's REAL horseradish and not some kind of wimpy horsey sauce. The weck is good bread, though my wife, a Buffalonian who knows from weck, says it needed more pretzel salt. Yeah, ok, I see that, but still: YUM. We shared a beer, too. Our excellent server served it in two glasses, a welcome rarity. The wait at about 6:30 on a Monday night after school started was 20 minutes. Worth it. They text you a website that tells you how many people are in line ahead of you, which was nice. Have a beer next door. Bar Bill turns tables pretty fast, though, so you may leave a glass half full if you're not watching the app closely. The store seems clean (it's dark). We sat in the very comfortable enclosed front area and watched East Aurora walk by. Service, as I said before, was really great. Parking was ample on a Monday night on the street in front. Probably won't be ample any other day! So go there. Worth the wait.

Allyson M.

Yelp
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the was this place does wings. Just crispy enough, with the sauce baked into them, so they are not dripping with sauce. The Cajun spicy BBQ is what we got this time. I must go here each time I'm in Buffalo, NY. We picked up on the way back home. Service is nice and pickup is around back if you're not dining in. Delish wings. I want to try every flavor. There's also an option to have them extra crispy if that's your preference .

Alexa V.

Yelp
We traveled to buffalo to try wings - and Bar Bill made the list. The vibe of this place is so cool, it's looks like an old Irish pub with stained glass and all. The wait was about 45 minutes for a table but we were lucky to find a spot at the bar right in front of the carving station for their beef on weck. We ordered wings first - the honey butter bbq Cajun wings. After about 15 minutes of waiting we had to order a beef on weck after watching so many made. The beef on weck came out and still no wings. The beef on weck was AMAZING. The best beef sandwich I've ever had. The bartender said it was taking so long because a table ordered over 200 wings, which was a bummer. The wings finally arrived. They were good compared to the city we travelled from, but not my favorite in buffalo.

Brandon G.

Yelp
One of the best wing spots in Buffalo. If you ever find yourself in East Aurora and you don't go to Bar Bill, you've made a mistake. Go back and try again. The wings here are just phenomenal. They have so many good flavors and they are always cooked perfectly. On this occasion, I was heading home and had to grab dinner on the way. This was my only choice. I got half medium and half honey butter BBQ. They were delicious. If you haven't guessed it by now, I love these wings. I really also love their Beef on Weck here too. Might be my favorite spot in general. Go to Bar Bill. Sprint, drive, fly, however you have to get there, do it. You won't regret it.

Justin F.

Yelp
This place is pretty much an institution in the Buffalo NY area. It's a loud pub that is constantly busy, but even still the wait was not too long. They have been open since at least the 80's, and it's obvious why they're so successful. Their beef on weck is absolutely terrific. Basically a gourmet roast beef sandwich with au jus dipping sauce and horseradish on the side, it is so excellently done and such a popular item that there is literally one guy there doing nothing but slicing the beef and assembling sandwiches. I never had beef on weck before as it is a local dish, but I would certainly get it again. I don't know if other places around do it better, but if they do then I'd love to know about it. The wings of course were also perfect.

Catalina A.

Yelp
Definitely top 3 wing spots I've ever tried in Buffalo. The sauce is super unique and it is all made in house, as well as the blue cheese dip. Our server was super enthusiastic & very attentive to our table which made the experience even better. We did have to wait about 40 mins but we didn't mind as we got drinks next door. Food came out in a timely order & everything was super fresh and delicious. Definitely will be coming back again!!

Kathrin J.

Yelp
Really is as good as everyone says! Got the recommendation from a nice lady that lives in Buffalo as well as my seat neighbor on the plane. Service was great, location is a vibe and the Beef on Weck, the wings and the beer battered fries were 11/10.

Kelly D.

Yelp
First Stop in Buffalo: Bar Bill Does Not Disappoint! Right off the plane, our first stop in Buffalo had to be Bar Bill, and it was an excellent choice! Since we had our luggage with us, the gentleman seating us immediately recognized we were from out of town. Shoutout to Matt, who took the time to seat us in a spot where our bags wouldn't be in the way and even shared his top menu recommendations. We followed his advice and ordered the Beef On Weck, pizza logs, and of course, the wings. We couldn't resist trying the honey butter BBQ Cajun style, the medium buffalo, and the Sicilian wings. I have to agree with Josh Allen--the honey butter BBQ Cajun wings are the best I've ever had! Matt checked in with us again to see what we ended up ordering and genuinely made us feel welcome. Bar Bill definitely sets the bar high for Buffalo hospitality!

Irma I.

Yelp
Wings. Sauce. Local. Best wings in Buffalo. Don't let the long wait times deter you. Just get your name on the list and wait to be called. although they have different sauces, like traditional buffalo wings Medium is definitely hot. Service piping hot. Go with blue cheese- don't ask for Ranch- lol!!! They cheesy breadstick were sooo good and the tenders were huge. Their waffle fries- YumO!!! The staff was amazing even though they were really busy. Place can get a little loud but just soak it all in and enjoy! Stop in or make your way there if you are in the area. It's a local favorite.

Sofia P.

Yelp
This is the one place I must stop at every time I come into town. My favorite wings ever. The beef on weck is also great. I love how this place has stayed so consistent in quality of the food as well as the service and vibes of the restaurant.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Great Buffalo food! The chicken wings were crispy like they should be! I cannot find wings in Nevada or anywhere else like Buffalo. These were great. The cheese curds were delicious and the beef on weck was a huge serving!

Harold C.

Yelp
Very small and loud on a Saturday, but totally worth it. The wings and beef on weck live up to the hype, and their house lager is a perfect accompaniment. Try the Cajun honey butter bbq. Amazing

Laura G.

Yelp
Great spot to bring in people from out of town. Must order the beef on weck and wings/fingers with Cajun-honey butter bbq. As a fry connoisseur, I love that they offer several different kinds; the beer-battered are my favorite. A bit disappointed that only one side of my chicken tenders were sauced when I went last time. The downside is that it is tight inside and waits can be lengthy; however, it's a whole vibe there. If you haven't been yet, you must go!

Patrick J.

Yelp
Best of the best wings in Buffalo. Always crispy, sauced well & good size. Wait time can be pretty long when it's busy. Sometimes it is hard to get a table right away. I normally order takeout when I get Bar Bill which is located conveniently right behind the restaurant/bar. Their hot is HOT, it's rare that I struggle with spice and theirs can give me a run for my money. Get medium-hot for the best heat/enjoyment combination

Mark D.

Yelp
Even though many are familiar with this restaurant, this was my first visit. We came here on a Saturday afternoon, and the wait was roughly 1 hour. I really wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it, and considered canceling and driving off, but I was very glad that we did wait. I ordered the Hot honey BBQ chicken fingers, which were delicious! I am normally not a fan of chicken fingers, but these were seasoned right. The only thing I didn't like about this place was where we were seated. We were literally the last table, right at the entrance of the kitchen. The one good thing about it was I got to watch them cook and season the food, but between the speakers for the customers being there, along with the loud music from the kitchen for the cooks, it was extremely loud and we were unable to converse with each other. As much as we enjoyed the food, we were both glad to finally leave and hear quite again. I would definitely consider coming back, but I would insist on not being seated where we were. Or better yet, I would consider takeout.

Michelle B.

Yelp
My fiance and I went through and the server Tori treated us so bad. I asked her for a coke 3 times. She talked to everyone around us and made us wait. I think the couple next to us felt so bad for us they started talking to us. My fiance and I are sick. I should of just turned around and walked out when she ignored us for the first 20 minutes. It's sad the world is like this.

Nancy C.

Yelp
We used to go to BarBill all the time. The past few times, we found the wings to be rubbery, even though we specifically asked for extra crispy. I think their reputation is what attracts people. The beef was also not as good as I remember it. Relatives visiting here from out of town had the same opinion that the food has gone downhill.

gary s.

Yelp
We haven't been here in awhile , used to be really good. However, the beef on Weck doesn't have the save flavor as years ago, The wings are still very good. The last time we were here they were pretty small but not this time. They still had a waiting line at 2pm. , so I guess they are still relying on their reputation or new clients who didn't experience the old Bar -Bill Tavern. It's dark and noisy inside. People tend to stay longer so it takes awhile to get a table. The server hustles and keeps your drinks full but the food takes a while to come out.

Gregory M.

Yelp
As a native of Buffalo since 1972, I feel that I have a pretty refined palette for Buffalo food. I've been looking for the best beef on weck for a while now, and I have finally found it here. This beef on weck had it all. The flavor was unbelievably delicious and perfect. There wasn't a hint of fat and there was a generous heap of this delicious roast beef to fill you up. I also ordered 20 wings. 10 hot and 10 Cajun. Perfectly cooked, but slightly too hot for me, even with blue cheese. I would like to go back and try the wings again with another sauce. But it's going to be tough to resist just ordering a beef on weck. Now the bad. As great as this food was, the atmosphere definitely wasn't. Too loud, too crowded, with THE most obnoxious music playing. This wasn't music you could sing to, it was just noise. Very LOUD noise. The chairs were pretty uncomfortable and made a really obnoxious sound as people frequently dragged them across the floor. As much as I love the food, I'm not going to come here very often, because the noise level just ruined it for me. They have a little room with extra seating that could be used as a quiet space. But for now, that was just as loud as the rest of the place. Also, this is during the Christmas season, and I can't help but think that if they had Christmas music playing, it would have been such a nicer experience. The staff was very attentive and nice. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it was crowded. All in all, A+ food, D- atmosphere.

Yelp
Oh, the anticipation! Somehow we managed to hold off until our 12th chicken wing review to visit the illustrious Bar-Bill! And what better time than now to roll-out our new and improved scoring rubric. Location: 5 / 5 Bar-Bill is legendary for their long wait times -- sometimes over 2.5 hours -- but we were seated immediately; a courtesy offered to only their elite guests like Josh Allen and the Wing Kings. The reception was warm, the beer was cold and the wings were hot! Presentation: 5 / 5 I mean, come on!? Every flavor of wings was perfectly arranged in a flower-petal style, with flats and drums separated and an exactly even number of each type on each plate. Just wow. Meat: 5 / 5 Perfect size and consistency - exactly what you want to see. Our 50 wings must have come from quinvigintuplets (a 25-set of "twins", I looked it up) because they were all identical Cook: 8 / 10 It's got to be hard to take as many wing orders as they do. Every table around us ordered wings, others waited outside for their turn to order wings and still more showed up for their take-out orders of wings. With such rapid consumption, sometimes a batch may get a tad under or over-cooked. Understandable, but a scoring deduction nonetheless. Standard Wing: 12 / 15 In our new scoring system, it's only fair that the score for the standard medium wing carries the most weight. While they were "fine" here, they don't really stand out from other establishments and they aren't why Bar-Bill is (rightly) considered chicken wing heaven. Specialty Wing: 10 / 10 The Cajun Honey Butter BBQ wings at Bar-Bill are *THE BEST* wings on planet Earth. Fact. Sometimes the arrival of highly anticipated moments can lead to disappointment -- but not today and not at Bar-Bill. Final Score: 45 / 50

Mark II S.

Yelp
I can't say enough about Bar Bill wings and sauces. Wings are perfectly cooked with optimal exterior crispiness while retaining a meaty, juicy interior. The blue cheese is also exceptional. I place Bar Bill as among the 2 best wings in Buffalo that I have tried, the other being Nine Eleven Tavern. Anyone who calls Bar Bill wings overrated, well, I don't know if I can help you. These wings the set the standard of excellence for traditional Buffalo wings in my humble opinion. I recommend getting there before 5:00 PM to avoid long waits. We arrived at 4:45 and had a selection of tables. Also quick service.

Mike M.

Yelp
Bar Bill is an absolute must and one of my favorite places in Buffalo for wings! Yes they are a little pricey in comparison to other joints but they have got to be in my top 3 tier for wings. My wife and I try to make it out to the quaint little East aurora location at least once a year! Such a nice little spot in the village! After an evening at Knox Farms we stopped in for the honey butter barbecue (my barbill favorite) and medium wings with a frie on the side! The service was great and of course we will be back!

Jennifer R.

Yelp
You can always expect great service and delicious food here. Their sauces are amazing and you can combine them to create different flavors every time. The drinks are delectable. The only downside is that the place is very small and there's only one bathroom which can be difficult because it's always busy

Yelp
One of my besties was in from out of town and she wanted wings so we decided on going to East Aurora's Bar Bill since she was staying out in Orchard Park at her cousins house. Upon entering, the hostess added us to the wait list and we proceeded to the bar while we waited for our other friend to arrive and for our table to be ready. The entire bar and restaurant area is smaller and it was crowded even on a Monday night. A man got up from the bar and my friend asked him if he was leaving and he ignored her and proceeded to walk out, so naturally she sat down. All of a sudden like 2 minutes later he comes back swearing at us talking about we took his f'in seat. My friend proceeded to state that we asked you if you were leaving and you ignored us and walked out. I also chimed in and stated I don't appreciate you talking to us like that and swearing at us. Anyways, he was meeting a group of men and the whole time at the bar him and his friends were carrying on about her sitting in "his seat" to the point of borderline harassment. We simply ignored them and continued to do so as we don't let petty, small-minded, ignorant people affect our lives. Our table was ready and we were set to be seated and the harassment continued. Two men in their party said sarcastically are you joining us and were carrying on about the seat at the bar. We proceeded to our table and unbeknownst to us the group of men apparently continued the whole time to talk about us to the point where another party near by could hear and asked my friend what happened. Ha...I'm so glad we were the topic of their whole conversation all night....so pathetic! We continued to ignore them and proceeded on with having dinner and enjoying a G's night! Not sure what type of clientele patronizes this establishment on a regular basis, but certainly NOT gentleman-like men that night, more like men that were angry, pathetic, ignorant, and that like to swear at and harass women! Disgusting behaviors! Anyhow, onto the main attraction...the wings! We ordered a double extra crispy cajun honey butter BBQ. They were delicious and cooked to perfection. My only minor issue was there was far more flats than drums. Would've been nice to at least have an equal amount of each. We didn't realize you can request either flats or drums for an up charge. The blue cheese was on point, very tasty, creamy and flavorful. Two smaller blue cheese cups come with a double and it's definitely not enough so my suggestion would be to order more for an up charge. The Bar Bill chopped salad was your basic chef salad and it was fresh; however, definitely not worth $9.95! The overall service was ordinary and blasé. Def come for the wings and the wings only!

Yelp
Bar Bill tavern has a great tavern atmosphere. The bar itself is small, but very efficient. The beef on wick is outstanding. Weck is for caraway seed. The best way w describe the role is kind of like a kaiser roll. Topped with caraway seeds in salt - Absolutely delicious. Thinly sliced roast beef is piled high on roll. Dipping au jus on the side. The Buffalo wings are crispy, juicy and very tasty. This is a locals favorite and a must for visitors.

Yelp
I came here with a friend four nights ago. I had takeout from here, a year or two before Covid hit, but I don't remember what I had. This was my first time eating inside of a Bar Bill restaurant. We got here at 4:45/4:50pm on a Friday night. It was the last Friday during Lent. I put my name down and we only had to wait about 20 minutes. This place is incredibly small so until a few people left bar seats, I was pretty much in the way of the hostess. I wasn't trying to be. We each ordered a beer at the bar. After about 10 minutes, we were seated in the front, which is their patio area, in the warmer months. I don't remember the waitress's name but she was nice and served us well. I ordered 10 of the honey butter barbecue wings. They were really good but I wished I had ordered the lemon pepper that a different friend had suggested or asked if they had garlic parm. The friend that I was with ordered medium. He enjoyed them. We also split a beef on weck pizza. That was really good. I would love to return. I'm really happy that this place finally takes credit cards and isn't cash only still. One star off because of how tight it is in there. I'll definitely return.

Yelp
While planning a day trip to Buffalo for the Bills game, I happened to find out that Josh Allen's favourite wings in Buffalo are at Bar Bill Tavern - with his favourite flavour being the cajun honey butter BBQ followed closely by the lemon pepper. Well, we went and tried those flavours, the medium wings, and their famous beef on weck - oh boy was that a heck of a meal. Each wing flavour was spectacular, and along with the perfect crispy meaty wing, these were the best wings I've ever had. The beef on weck was also pretty solid, served with horseradish and au jus it might just give you the meat sweats. Overall, one of the best game day meals I've had in a long time, and the best wings ever.

Yelp
The chicken wings were delicious, service was fantastic. We had a seat by the kitchen so I got to see how they brush the wings with sauce... yummy!! The ambiance was loud but i can still hear my company talk, great time!!

Yelp
It is definitely a bar atmosphere which to me is cramped & loud. Positively our waitress couldn't have been sweeter & the food was amazing for most of us. The beef on wick easily had 2 inches of beef & was excellent as were the two BarBill Special's that were huge slabs of beef, sweet ham, & cheese. The horseradish was a bit dry but I didn't use it as others did. The fourth person had a pepperoni pizza & couldn't eat the pepperoni as it was so spicy. I tried it & agreed her husband said it was fine! All in all it was a good place to try. Oh yeah the beer battered fries were to die for definitely get them if you go!! We would use this as a take out place in the future!

Yelp
Bar Bill Tavern, East Aurora NY, is always rated in the top tier for places to eat a western NY Beef on Weck. They never fail to deliver on the perfectly seasoned weck roll with a huge thinly sliced roast beef portion. While the beef was great, the horseradish was not its usual clear your nose variety today, but the on the side au jus was fine. Ambiance is a zero, but perfectly clean. Alxander our waiter was witty, very attentive and an asset to Bar Bill.

Yelp
Food: I traveled from a city afar for a quick weekend getaway and stopped here because two friends raved this spot had the BEST wings. Well...they were decent. I honestly don't see how the wings in Buffalo, or Bar Bill Tavern, truly constitute being the "best". I mean, they aren't bad, but I've had equally good wings across the country o numerous occasions. The Bloody Mary read great intent menu and you see it looks decent too, but the texture is way too thick for my liking and lacked balance. It's like thick, but diluted wing sauce. Definitely needed acid (lemon or something) to again balance it out. Every ingredient seemed to stand out and that's not what it's supposed to be. Lastly, the beef on weck. Man, same buddy who hyped the wings said I just had to try this sandwich. Smh. The weck bun or roll...or whatever you want to label it...was too salty. I guess the salt is supposed to be what makes it standout. Way too salty. The beef itself as fine but it's just tender sliced beef. No real standout flavor or dressings. Service: Super slow service. It's not a big establishment, but this place is super popular. They need to hire more staff. Until then, make sure you request everything you need when you have the attention of your sever or you will be waiting forever in between the next time they check on your table. Ambiance: This spot is ridiculously dark and cramped (as is the bathroom!). In the military they say love your buddy when you're sitting cramped to the person next to you. Well that's how seating was in this spot. Like chair back touching the back of the person at the table next to you. I had to move and/or get out my seat for the table beside me to get seated and up and down to the bathroom. Ugh. Overall, if you're in the area, check it out. They sell the sauce by the bottle as retail and so I bought four as gifts for the friends back home that swore by this spot. The sauce is good. Honey Butter = Just good) This said, they were stoked to have been gifted a bottle.

Yelp
I can honestly not say enough good things about Bar Bill! It is my favorite wing spot in all of Buffalo! Starting with the place itself, it's definitely a hole in the wall so depending what time of day you're planning on going, make sure you get there early or you're bound to wait. However, the atmosphere is great and it really is a fun spot! Moving on to the food, I've never had a bad meal here. Their beef on weck is delicious and they always give you a great amount of meat, but the star of the show is obviously the wings. They are a great size so you're really getting your money's worth, and they're always perfectly crispy and so so good. My favorite is the medium hot and it is perfect for me on the spice level. Overall, I love Bar Bill and I highly recommend to anyone for authentic and truly great wings. Living in Buffalo my whole life, I've tried a lot of wings, but Bar Bill's always come out on top for me!
