14 Reservations To Make Before The Tourists Come Back To Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Bar Bucce has pitchers of cola and vermouth, round tables perfect for big groups, and a patio buzzing with sexy Italian apertivo energy. In other words, it’s a siren song for winter snowbirds. Word is getting out about this excellent new Little River spot, and the crowds will reach a crescendo whenever it starts snowing in Manhattan. Bar Bucce doesn’t take reservations, but you should still savor the days of being able to grab seats at the bar on a Friday after work. Those days may be numbered." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

The 25 Best Restaurants In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"When picking a dinner in Miami, you generally have to commit to a big night out, a small one, or something in between. But Bar Bucce effortlessly pivots between these modes of dining. You order at the register of this Italian market, seat yourself, and after a few minutes, plates of caponata and pizzas find you. Make it a quick martini and a snack. Or go join the friends you’ll inevitably run into at their table. The scene on Bar Bucce’s patio plays out like an Italian piazza on a Saturday afternoon, and no matter how you decide to use this place, you’ll have the kind of fun that usually only comes with being in a radically different time zone." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

The Spots Of The Summer, Miami Edition - Miami - The Infatuation

"Five months from now, when it’s swamped with snowbirds, you’ll wish you’d taken advantage of this compound of caponata, pizza, and niche amaros. Yes, you’re going to sweat. But there’s a retractable roof, plenty of fans, and tables inside. Bring the kids and let them go feral on a fancy pizza while they delight in the roar of passing trains (and you delight in a sherry martini)." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

The Best Miami Restaurants For Big Groups - Miami - The Infatuation

"Walking into a restaurant with nine people and no reservation isn’t something we’d recommend. But, if you arrive early, Bar Bucce works. Most of the seating at this Italian market is outside. They have a couple of big round tables that are first come, first served. It’s a great spot for a mixed friend-group hang, especially if half of you are pushing strollers. Order a few pizzas to share, some caponata, and a big pitcher of vermouth with cola. If you’re still hungry, repeat that process. You order at the register and pay as you go." - virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer

Best New Restaurants in Miami, May 2025 | Eater Miami

"Macchialiana’s Michael Pirolo and team recently opened Bar Bucce, a combination Italian market, restaurant, and pizzeria in Little River. The casual cafe offers pizza pies, salumi, and antipasti (with a few dinner-only grilled items). During lunch only, pizza slices, arancini, and stromboli are on the menu. Wines, cocktails, and beers (including a house exclusive by J. Wakefield) are available." - Laine Doss

Very cool and super delicious. Yummy appetizers and pizza. Love the patio, can’t wait to go back. They have this amazing clementine Italian soda too that is a must get. Their special Pilsner beer (made for them!) is really good too.

Google
Really cool spot, good vibes both indoor and outdoor. Pizza is very good and the appetizers as well. The pizza is not classic neapolitan, it’s a bit more crunchy and one pie is just enough for two people. Wine and drinks feel way overpriced. Cocktails were not so great.

Google
Miami keeps stepping up their pizza, and I don't know how Bar Bucce did it, but they brought it to a new level with this margarita pizza. The crust is super thin and crispy without being burnt, and I was baffled at the flavor that came from the sauce and cheese; you can tell they don't just use "standard ingredients they thought about the composition of the dish as if it were to be served in the highest rated establishments in the country. You finish your pizza and can't imagine how they can complement it with dishes of equal caliber, and then you cut open the crispy Aranchini shell.

Google
The restaurant was truly a great experience. The service stood out — the bartender was incredibly warm and helpful, offering recommendations that turned out to be spot on. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, though Miami’s heat can make it tough to enjoy the outdoor space for too long, even after 8 PM. Now, the pizza… absolutely spectacular. Some of the best flavors I’ve had in a long time. We ordered a Margherita and added mushrooms and stracciatella — delicious, but it came out to $60 for a 16” pizza, which feels a bit steep, even for Miami. Aside from the pricing, everything else was excellent. I’d still recommend it for the quality and vibe, just know what to expect on the bill.

Google
Bar Bucce has the best Pizza pie I have yet to encounter in miami. Perfect crust, sauce, texture and flavor profile. The addition of the spicy pepper salsa on your table, or the garlic shake is not necessary, but a very welcome addition, as it adds a whole new level of flavor to the experience. The staff seemed attentive, the bartender especially. But, the server that was on when we visited was not very attentive. Even with a 20% gratuity, 15% of which is tacked on automatically. We only saw him for the delivery, and then two glasses of ice water.

To think my day would end in a frenzy of Italian delicacies would be so far off the par for a regular Monday. After leaving my dealership (literally down the block) I was pleasantly surprised to find Bar Bucce throwing their OPENING NIGHT service. From antipasti to pizza to exotic Italian dishes this place is YUGE. Big win for little Haiti/river. If this is what opening serves- very excited for a seasoned Bucci. And new lunch spot! Will be back later this week 100%

Google
A great addition to the Little River area offering casual, authentic Italian comfort food! During the lunch hours they sell slices and that was a great option to try a few pizza types for our first time. Highly recommend the margarita pizza, arancini, homemade focaccia, & mozzarella! Plenty of covered, well-ventilated outdoor seating which is perfect for the summer! Best part: they have a bottle shop/market inside offering classic Italian products that you can’t find anywhere else - highly recommend!

Google
a fantastic atmosphere - the vibe, design, and overall ambiance really stand out. It gives off that chic Italian bottega feel, where you dine in and also shop for curated goods like quality wines, and other Italian pantry staples. The food was good and beautifully presented. The charcuterie board was generous and well-balanced, and the freshly baked focaccia looked and smelled incredible. Pizza was OK in my opinion, good but not mind blowing. That said, while everything was enjoyable, the flavors didn’t quite hit that 5-star level for me, especially considering the price point, which felt a bit high. it’s a great spot for a leisurely lunch or to grab a gourmet gift. I will probably come back- maybe more for the experience and the vibe than just the food alone.

Yelp
Macchialina in Little River is the right move.. Bar Bucce is a cool spot in a hip part of Miami-definitely worth checking out if you're into chill vibes and good wine. I tried a few things: the shrimp pie was tasty and unique, and the grilled shrooms were a solid pick. The atmosphere is modern and relaxed, with a market inside where you can browse for Italian goodies, and there's a wine shop with corkage, which is a nice touch if you want to pick your own bottle to enjoy at the table. Service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Yelp
Staff is very nice and the place itself is cute, but so expensive!! I didn't know paying $32 for a simple Margherita pizza was on my bingo card but here I am. The pizza was good, but not worth a whopping thirty-two bucks. We also tried the meatball, zucchini scapece, and farm green salad. Salad was good, meatball was alright, and the zucchini wasn't bad but I wouldn't call it scapece. the slices were so thick. The restaurant is in an area where there really isn't much around, maybe that's why they can put their prices so high up? *also note they uncharge you if you pay with credit card.

Yelp
A beautifully designed space with a promising concept by the Macchialina group. The ambiance is excellent, the food is good, and the selection of wines and imported products to take home is impressive. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Service fell far short of expectations. The staff was inattentive and gave the impression that guests were a burden rather than welcomed patrons. I went for lunch, and surprisingly, there was no one at the bar to serve drinks. The pay-before-you-eat model is inconvenient, especially if you'd like to order something additional during your meal--requiring you to get up and pay again at the counter. Unfortunately, despite the quality products, the service and setup significantly impacted the experience. I won't be returning.

Yelp
The restaurant is right by the railroad, expect to be interrupted / entertained by the occasional commuter or freighter train. Indoor space that seats perhaps 40 people, opening to an outdoor space that seats maybe twice as many people, with an indoor outdoor bar and a few couches. You order at the counter. A 15% service fee is automatically added. Prices are generally high. Even though thick round focaccias are on display, the order only brings 4 tiny slices. We also ordered the kebab (small and forgettable), zucchini, and salad. Portions are small, flavor is okay. We were still hungry and ordered the margherita, which was nice but, again, quite pricey. Chairs in the indoor space (or are they stools?) were the most uncomfortable I've encountered in Miamis in a long time. In summary, quite disappointing.

Yelp
Cool new spot in Little River. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Order at the counter, only one person taking orders. Took long to get the food but it was delicious. Slice is on the small side, salad was fresh and the focaccia was amazing. Prices are high and to charge a $20 corkage is ridiculous. Beware 15 percent included on the bill even though it's counter service.

Yelp
Some of my favorite pizza! Nice for groups big area for out door seating. Great wine.

Yelp
Nice place with a great patio for an evening pizza. The restaurant looks very nice. However, maybe because of my choice, I didn't really enjoy their pizza, nice dough but too salty.... I will give it a second try just to confirm or change my first impressions.

Yelp
"Good, nice option for something different, but I found the menu very limited. They have many wine and liquor options and some delicatessen items not common in Miami, which makes it a must-go. One note: the air conditioning wasn't working when I went -- hopefully it's fixed now."

Leticia A.

Yelp
I was charged $47 for a sandwich (with no sides) and one glass of very average wine here, which was a serious rip-off considering that I had to place the order myself at a counter. Also, my dining companion had to wait about 15-20 minutes for the staff to bring him his pizza slice when the pizza slices were already prepared and were sitting in a display case - all that they needed to do was heat the pizza up and give it to him, but they couldn't handle that even though there were about 5 customers in the whole place (including the 2 of us). I've had better customer service at a Sbarro in a mall! Needless to say I won't be coming back, which is a shame because I had high hopes for this place.

Yelp
Food was good. Shrimp and zucchini pizza were yummy. But they charge $20 when you pick a bottle of wine and drink it there. Why am I being charged a corkage fee for a bottle I am buying there while also purchasing food. They open and give you the bottle as soon as you pay so not sure why the extra $20 charge. Make it make sense?
