Bar + Cart Restaurant and Lounge

Looking for a quaint, classy, but lively bar/restaurant? This is definitely a great spot to try on Grand Ave in St Paul! This was our first experience trying oysters, and we were thoroughly impressed. We tried both traditional oysters and the Rockefeller oysters. I HIGHLY recommend the Rockefeller oysters but both were delicious 😋 their salads are harty and delicious, as well as their smashburhers! We also tried their old fashions and "Don't Mind if I don't" which were both scrumptious. Definitely looking forward to coming back here again!

Food was delicious.. really generous portions at a very reasonable price. Our giant pork chop was slightly undercooked. It was noticed by I believe the manager walking by. Without hesitation, he asked to put it back on the grill and make it right. It was absolutely delicious after a few more minutes on the grill. They made it right and compted the one meal. They handled the situation exactly like a restaurant should. We'll definitely be back.

Favorite spot in the Twin Cities. Service was excellent, kept my water glass filled the whole time and the kitchen was so quick. Thank you Josie and Bea for a wonderful evening. The citrus arugula salad was perfection and my drink (Angels in the Garden— gin, lavender, etc) was beautifully made. Also had the goat cheese, kale salad, the nachos, and the coconut curried sea bass. Each dish was amazing! Can’t wait to come back here. I ❤️ Bar Cart and its staff.

Ordered the necromancer cocktail, the Angels in the Garden, the steak sandwich, and the nachos. The nachos were great. I thought the sandwich needed something to cut through the richness and that the bread was too toasted. My date loved both food items. The drinks were tasty - a little slow coming out, but nothing crazy. It is very loud in the dining room so I would not recommend it if you are looking to catch up with someone you haven’t seen in a while.

Giving 5 stars for decor, staff amazing, vibe, and concept, but food and drinks unfortunately brought this high potentially 10/10 restaurant to something close to 6.5-7 - I was so excited to try this with my girlfriend - we ordered the citrus salad, 3 cocktails, tartare, pesto burrata, ribeye and the sea bass - also ordered garlic but they were out My gf ordered the gin pickle cocktail, I don’t love gin but it was excellent, great briny taste - I ordered the mezcal Jesus cocktail which was presented in a very cool manner but overall was sickeningly sweet - I ordered another cocktail the tequila old fashioned which had far too much mole and was also too sweet Overall, there is just way too much overpowering sweetness in the food! Pesto burrata was great in concept but honey was so overpowering it was all you tasted - citrus salad and tartare were GREAT!!! The sea bass itself was cooked perfectly amazing - unfortunately the curry sauce it rested in was so sick we could not eat any of the rice, even my girlfriend could not and she eats everything sweet under the sun! The ribeye was cooked well to order, however again the salad dressing for the side salad was far too sweet to enjoy. I’m disappointed because this place is close to home and the ingredients/food concepts are fresh and exciting, unfortunately the execution was just not there - I wanted to like it but I think it will take awhile for me to go back

The place itself is decent atmosphere wise. The food was absolutely horrendous. My entree came out cold and my date found a hair in in her salad. The restaurant did replace the salad but offered no kind of discount nor an apology and to be completely honest after it all we were both lacking an appetite. I'd recommend somewhere else. Full disclosure, I never give bad reviews but I felt obligated to do so under these circumstances. Cocktails were pretty good tho🤣

Didn't have reservations, so sat out front in the lounge. Perfect for a chat, drinks and food. Pisco sour, white wine, can't remember the other drink. Baked goat cheese spread was seriously good. Shrimp po' boys also delicious. Excellent service.

The ambiance here is wonderful! They can make some of the dishes vegan! I’ve done the raspberry crunch salad & the roasted garlic bulb without cheese and they’re great! The drinks are also fantastic.

Bar+Cart is turning into a staple of one of my favorite restaurants in the area! Great food, incredible speciality cocktails, and top tier service. I would recommend making a reservation as it is a smaller building but it is possible to walk in and be seated. Highly recommend for a date night or cocktails with friends - the moody, sultry atmosphere makes for a great evening out.

No pictures to share, but this place was ok. A decent bar, a little on the expensive side for what it was. The food looked good although we did not order any. It was just a place that we stopped in quickly in between things to grab a cocktail and an espresso martini. The art in there was pretty cool! The bartender and waitress were also pretty cool.. no issues, good service. Low lighting, nice ambiance. If the in the area and need a quick drink will definitely stop by here again!

Bar Cart has a great atmosphere. Service was excellent. Food was very good. The mussels are large and broth tasty! Drinks fabulous! However, I could not figure out why the bill was so large for what we ordered. I checked the receipt this morning to find that that had included an automatic gratuity without letting me know. I added a $18.00 gratuity which as it turns out, the gratuity was 50% of the bill. I think this is dishonest and bad business. I would have added an additional gratuity to the automatic one, but not $18.00. Look at your bill carefully! I think this lacks integrity. If I ever go back there, I will speak to the management.

Damn this place was good. Awesome HH. Made reservations. Not sure what the bar seating availability is like but I recommend reservations. I asked about the oysters and just ended up ordering 2 of each. Super fresh and tasty. After getting the oysters bar counter education from Fanny Bay Oysters (Vancouver, B.C.) a few months ago, I had been having a craving and these more than satisfied. But then I took a hard left and also had the footlong Coney dog (Gopher Bar still makes the best) and a pile of beef carpaccio with a quail egg. Everything was so good! A couple of raw things and something processed to the extreme. Being of German heritage, I approve. Oh and the drinks. Yum. And their glass of wine? You won't go wrong. It's called the BFG or something. You'll understand.

I took a friend of mine here for her birthday and it was great. FYI the food menu online is a bit different from the menu in the restaurant but the food was great. We started out with the nachos and I had the shrimp po boy. The alcohol menu is very extensive and they also have non alcoholic beverages. The inside is small so I recommend making reservations. Our server was really great too. I will definitely come back.

Overall nice experience, the ambiance was lovely and it wasn't overly crowded since we went closer to opening. The space is very intimate and the staff was nice. I really enjoyed getting the happy hour specials from 3-6 pm. I think the big ass glass of wine for $10 is a great special if you're ready to have some fun with friends. My favorite though would have to be the oysters for $2, they were fresh and I highly recommend the Edgewater. I loved using the habanero tincture that came with them (make sure to ask if they forget to bring it over). My only complaint is that both times I've gone recently, I was overcharged and had to get the bill corrected. They made it very easy but if you want to save yourself some time just make sure to double check the prices. Other than that, prepare to have a 20% service charge added on as well, I don't mind but it would have been nice to know in advance.

Lovely reinvention of the Kyhber Pass space. Interesting cocktail menu, though my two drinks were both a bit too sweet. they have an extensive liquor menu. I hope they get more creative and take advantage of their inventory as they move forward. The service was confusing. multiple people waited on us and we weren't quite sure who to ask for help. I am not ready to pass judgment on the menu as we only ordered one starter plate- the Buratta. Like the drinks, it was way too sweet. The cheese was served over "pesto." It was pesto in the sense that it was a paste of herbs- mint was the predominant one and about all you could taste, but it appears they also added honey or another sweetener. way too sweet. Need salt, acid, and a pop of heat (spice) I was intrigued enough to go back, but not overly impressed.

We tried Bar Cart for the first time last night and it was SO GOOD! We made it just in time for their happy hour- ordered nachos, old fashioned, and wine. The nachos were perfectly covered in cheese. The coconut curry sea bass was easily one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. The sea bass was a little crispy on the outside and the curry was incredible. The smash burger was tasty and flavorful. My husband said it was the best burger he's had in that price range. We wanted dessert but didn't save enough room! Lastly, the service and ambiance were superb- friendly, cozy, yet upbeat. Would definitely recommend coming here for dinner! We will be back :)

Came to Bar Cart for some post dinner drinks. The aesthetic of the place was very cute, with low lighting, tiny lamps on the table, fun photos in the bathroom, etc. Everyone at our table ordered the espresso martini, and I don't think anyone was absolutely head over heels for it. It was good, but their espresso must be premade and chilled for quite some time - instead of pulling fresh shots from an espresso machine. I know this because I actually asked for an espresso on the side (to take as a pick me up) and it came out as a cold shot. Again, not the worst espresso martini I've had but there's just a different taste you get with fresh shots. We also didn't get that nice crema finish on top because of it. After the martini, I tried a vesper for the first time. Our server gave a great description of it, so I knew what to expect. Very bright and strong flavor. Good, but just not my favorite. Very cute presentation though-- I loved their glassware.

I love this cute little place, almost like a hidden gem because they serve oyster and amazing steak, and they have happy hour too! Cool. Came here during the summer and it was packed, so I recommend to get there early. I really enjoyed their old fashioned. It was perfect! Server was nice and friendly. I will come back.

This place was relatively small with eclectic decor, which I really enjoyed. The floor to ceiling bar was really cool. It was also absolutely freezing inside, which made our visit a little uncomfortable. Service was really, really slow. Although the server was nice, they weren't helpful and didn't provide any recommendations. It also took forever to get a drink. After each order, we had to wait 15-20 minutes to get the drink. It's also worth noting it wasn't very busy when we were there... As for the drinks, the espresso martini was a little hard to stomach. It was super bitter and overall one of the worst I've ever had. You're A Daisy If You Do was better and would be a perfect drink for fall (especially if served warm!). It was a little light on any distinguishable taste though. The star for me was the Clover Club. It was SO GOOD. It's hard to explain its taste, but the best I can do is that is smelled like Christmas, but tasted like summer. 10/10 recommend that drink.

Very good food, and the drinks were delicious. The restaurant was super loud and hard to hear others on a Thursday night but it's very cute inside. Service wasn't great but the restaurant was very busy. Prices were so cheap, but coming from LA so not the most reliable judge. Came out to $70 (pre mandatory gratuity) for 3 people with 3 drinks and 3 appetizers

This is SUCH a fun and cozy spot on Grand. Very tiny restaurant with seating in the lounge and at the bar if you don't have a reservation. I ordered the mussels and was not a huge fan. The sauce was a little sour and mussels slightly fishy, not sure how fresh they were. My friend liked her food so next time i will stay away from seafood... But the drinks and the company made up for it. I would definitely recommend this for a date night or girl dinner!!

Amazing food here! Had the coconut curry and it was delicious! Love the vibe, the signature cocktails and especially our service from Lizzie!

Every neighborhood needs a hang out - your go to date night spot, your after work happy hour, your late night quickie - and Bar Cart certainly fulfills this role, leaving me extremely envious of those close enough to enjoy this spot over and over. Came for a solo date because I'd heard good things from a friend, was craving oysters, and not many of my friends enjoy oysters, but when I have a craving...well, lack of company won't stop me. Ordered one of each oyster and a loaded hummus as well as the pisco sour. The oysters were great! Usually MN doesn't get a great selection, and if they do have them, it's only east coast, and to my delight, there were west coast oysters which are my favorite! I would argue the mignonette wasn't really a mignonette (can you have a mignonette without shallots? Not even a one?) but nonetheless the experience hit the spot. The loaded hummus is truly loaded - piled high with plenty of hummus, olives, tomatoes, feta, and roasted red pepper, it was a delight to snack on and plenty to bring home to toast the flatbread. The pisco sour was also lovely - I really enjoy pisco and love to look for it on menus after first experiencing it this year at a pisco bar, and Bar Cart makes a delightful version - perfectly tropical but the fruity tartness is balanced out by the egg white and balsamic vinegar, almost making it taste savory-esque. Service was great - seated promptly at 3p when they opened at the bar upon my request, and the bartender was friendly and prompt whenever I needed something. For a Wednesday afternoon though, they were surprisingly busy! There were plenty of guests that trickled in after myself and it was ambient enough to take in the sounds while dining. Some of their pricing seems to be a little inconsistent though - loaded hummus should have been $9 during HH but they charged $13 and I didn't notice until after I left. But the oysters were charged at the HH price, so unsure if their menus are outdated or if was keyed in error. Either way, the food and service is worth coming back for and it's definitely a place to check out if you're on the east side of the metro - the vibes are immaculate and what more could you ask for?

It is not a huge space but the decor and atmosphere is absolutely adorable. I get the sense that they are consistently very busy, so would probably recommend a reservation. The food was very solid, and shareable. As a group of 4 we got a few dishes and just shared them amongst each other which was really nice. The drink menu had a lot of classics but also some pretty unique options which I enjoyed.

This place is packed. Make sure to make RSVP. Or you can sit at bar or lounge. Happy Hour is amazing. Hummus is a little dry. But ask for some olive oil to pour all over it then it's perfect. The lamb chop with curry lentil is exceptional. They are very savory with a nice kick to it. Some kind kind of fresh citrusy zest. Or just some zest of life ha! The creamed goat cheese also have zing. All of them sound so heavy but they are light and hits all your palette. Super balance dishes. Great palate. Last but not least. Amazing cocktails. Order anything. Can not ho wrong

Get the nachos. They understand nachos. Most people mess up nachos by piling up the chips and adorning just the top with deliciousness -amateurs! Bar Cart has every chip fully loaded. It's amazing. The oysters were fantastic. The beef tartare was good --- the sliced baguettes were slightly too crunchy, and I would have preferred about 2-3 more. The hummus was excellent. I didn't love the poke bowl -- but I was full by then, so I couldn't trust my taste buds. I can't wait to go back.

Y'all I don't know how the ratings are so low here-this is a hidden gem! A few friends and I went here and were pleasantly surprised. In true girl dinner fashion we split the arugula & citrus salad, burrata over herbed pesto, roasted garlic bulb, and the coney dog. We would hands down go back and order these again. The burrata and coney dog were our favorites. On top of the food, the cocktails were delightful. We tried a variety of these and were not disappointed.

Came here for a quick HH. We ordered the Hummus, Old Fashioned and Margarita. The HH hours specials are pretty good for drinks as you can see in the photo. The quality of the drink were definitely worth it. The Hummus was also good. Hint of spice and the bread was warm which I love. Who doesn't love warm bread! The ambiance was classier that expected

We originally found this place in a list of the top 50 bars and restaurants in the twin cities and I can attest to why this place was on the list. The restaurant is kind of small, making it a perfect date night place. One of the most notable things about this restaurant was their drink menu. There is such a wide array with captivating flavors. The drink menu was organized by country, which I thought was unique concept. It really resonated with the restaurant's overall vibe. My husband and and I split two appetizers and an entrée which was plenty for two - dare I say slightly too much food. We had the Steak Tartar and the garlic bulb as the appetizers. The flavors were astounding, especially together. All my husband and I kept saying was how fresh everything tasted. For our entrée we had the lobster mac. The portion was huge and absolutely stuffed with lobster. The experience here was very nice. The service was also very nice, however it was just a little bit slow in pace. Certainly didn't take away from the experience. Something to note before you go is that gratuity is included at the end - an automatic 20%. We had no issue with this, but just so others are aware.We will absolutely be coming again.

Bart cart is a very special place...Nick is a fantastic bartender and very kind. 2 4 1 wines..goat cheese dip..lamb chops and the amazing ribeye that was the star of the show. Can't wait to go back!

I recently stopped in here for a drink, and I regret that I only had room for dessert! The menu looked so good, and my bread pudding was FIRE. It was served warm with a yummy caramel sauce and ice cream. My espresso martini was also stellar. My boyfriend and I went on a Friday night and were seated quickly. Great service, plenty of parking, and a diverse menu. What else could I ask for?! Definitely check this restaurant out.

Solid stop with good apps. Worth noting that they include a 20% mandatory gratuity in the bill and also a space for an additional tip. I wasn't overwhelmed by the service and felt like we lost some attention compared to other groups in the small restaurant. Loved the appetizers and the drinks - very good drink prices and I loved my Paloma -- perfect balance of tequila and grapefruit. It would have been nice on the roasted garlic app if we didn't have the squeeze it out. The ambiance was cute, very millennial. However, it's not a super intimate setting and is probably better for going out with friends!

Our evening at Bar Cart started well enough. We were about 15 minutes early for our reservation, and pleasantly surprised when the hostess said she could seat us right away. Though she was true to her word and gave us a table, it took at least 15 minutes before the server came to take our drink orders. Someone brought us water during this period. When the server arrived she brought a second set of waters, and when she saw we already had water, she simply gave us the additional waters and didn't take the ones we had been drinking. Not a big deal, except the tables were tiny, so when our apps and drinks arrived we were moving things up onto the wall beside us for space. The server asked "have you had a chance to take a look at the menus" and we sort of chuckled to ourselves, because we had had AMPLE time to consider our options. She was sweet, complemented my outfit, and we moved along with our evening. We ordered drinks (a caiparinha and a beer) a citrus arugula salad and burrata with pesto, and...waited. The restaurant was busy but not wildly so, and there appeared to be two servers, a bar tender and a hostess so it didn't seem understaffed. We waited another 10 minutes or so for our drinks and appetizers. The caiparinha was bright, limey and refreshing. The burrata was very tasty - spicy and herbal pesto, the toasts were fine. The burrata itself was not the creamiest/most delicious I've had but it was totally yummy. The salad was overdressed and not really tossed, so it was just kind of a wet pile of arugula on top of some citrus medallions that still had a lot of pith on them. This is an odd thing to complain about, and it's not a problem per se, but the appetizer portions were huge - maybe double what I would expect - and so we felt a little weird about not finishing them, but also like we wanted to save room for our mains. We finished our drinks probably halfway through the appetizers, but were not offered another until the server came quite a while later to take our mains order. The service had been so choppy and slow at this point that we checked in with each other about whether we should order mains there or leave and go somewhere else. My dining companion was psyched about the short rib ragu so we decided to stay. I got the mussels. We ordered a second round of drinks. As she had with each of our orders the server gave us an enthusiastic "great choice" for each item we ordered - totally flat and without any personal knowledge or enthusiasm for the (admittedly not very interesting) food. My partner and I were joking that I couldn't even take her comments about my outfit seriously because she seemed to have no taste. My mussels came and I started eating them when I found one that hadn't opened. No big deal, I put it in the bowl for the shells, and reached for another. Also unopened. I ate 1-2 opened ones, then found another closed tight in its shell. I've always been told that unopened shellfish are dead/potentially poisonous, and honestly I have no idea if this is true but my internal alarms were going off. I started counting the closed mussels. There were 7. In a bowl of maybe 15 mussels. So nearly half of my order was inedible. I had some of my partner's ragu, and caught the server's attention when I could. I told her what I wrote here - I've been told not to eat unopened mussels, there are a lot of them, not asking for my money back just wanted the kitchen to be aware. She said "oh yes the kitchen is aware, we were already informed of this issue by another table and we are cutting the mussels from the menu tonight." Cool cool cool, would have been great if you'd let me know of the issue, since I've been sitting here...eating them. I am also a little stumped by the fact that someone plated this food and didn't notice the sheer volume of unopened mussels in the bowl. So, we decided not to get dessert, got the bill, they comped the mussels, we accidentally double tipped because of the stupid 20% surcharge, and we will not be returning. As we left the hostess said in a jaded drawl "sorry about the mussellllllsssss." P.S. In a completely snarky sidenote, the decor looks like it was sourced from Wayfair, and the wallpaper was not even applied smoothly. It was like someone's idea of what a cool restaurant should look like, but they didn't quite get there. P.P. S. The food was totally passable (apart from the mussels) and the experience could have been saved with better service, but the service really killed the experience.

We went to bar cart for drinks and apps on a Tuesday night at 6. We didn't need reservations and got seated right away. The drink menu is HUGE and we really loved the seasonal choices. I had the drink choice of the day, which was delicious (but I did fish two fruit flies out of it ). We had the whipped feta and the hummus and both came with pita bread that was warm but very limp and difficult to dip with. The ambiance was great for a cold fall night out with the girls. Would go back again but only when I'm ready to spend big $$$ (20% mandatory service charge). Wouldn't order either of the apps we got again, but saw some nachos go by that looked pretty good!

Swanky cocktails and an impressive whiskey selection. I had a Manhattan and my date had a scotch cocktail (forget the name). Both were excellent. Dark old school clubby vibe to this place. Food looked good and I'll definitely be back for oysters at happy hour. Sat at the small bar area, service was good.

Definitely a great little spot, to dine, have cocktails, and eat! The oysters were delicious, the whipped feta is lit! Lobster roll was also good. The staff is amazing, they can make recommendations on the menu and will make sure you get exactly what you want. This place is definitely worth a visit!

This place is pretty cool! My friend and I chose to check out Bar Cart Lounge and Restaurant on a Monday evening at 7:30. The vibes inside are immaculate. The green lights, mid century modern decor, and massive bar wall made this place feel cozy and swanky. We started off with some drinks. I got the amaretto sour and my friend got the Penicillin! Both were super tasty and well presented. The menu consisted of salads, spreads, fancy sandwiches, and dinner dishes. I got the meatball sub and it was super flavorful. It came with a side salad which was delicious. My friend got the chicken sandwich which came with kettle chips. It seemed as though it was chicken salad rather than chicken pieces. I will be excited to come back here for more drinks and dinners!

Extremely loud, buzzy scene for cocktails, drinks, and eats on St. Paul's Grand Ave near Macalester College. Tempting happy hour deals including the "Big Ass Glass of Wine" and half price bar food. I was pleased with one one visit so far to catch up with a friend, but if I returned I might look for a quieter day or time. It's a great use of the former Khyber Pass Cafe space - another hangout option on this stretch of Grand besides French Meadow and I forget what else.

I really wish I wanted to be able to rate this place a 5 but the food is what knocked it lower! I wasn't very pleased with the oysters or nachos. Oysters were very small. The nachos were cool that everything was placed on a chip nicely so it was less messy. The drinks were great though! And the atmosphere was fun and welcoming! I think I'd come back for drinks only next time!

Another fun addition to the cocktail scene in St. Paul, formerly in the Khyber Pass spot. They have an awesome cocktail menu, with a wide variety of options. Check out the hot toddy concoction for two! This place was jam packed on a Friday evening and we were lucky to snag a spot at the bar. Definitely recommend reservations. There was a nice variety of food options, including seafood! The lobster roll was my favorite definitely check out this new kid on the block!

The drinks were amazing and the appetizers were yummy. The bartender was funny and very accommodating. A little spendy but the cocktails are worth the price! Ambience is dark and perfect for a night out with friends or a date night.

First timers; arrived for pre-dinner drinks on a Saturday at 6:00. We got the last available seats, which happened to be in the back hallway. Sort of a weird location but we were grateful for a spot. Drinks were good! We also had the oysters, which were great!

We came to bar + cart for a casual business meeting on a Monday night and were very impressed by the place. Our first time here, on a Monday, they were busy but not too busy- attentive staff, bartender's drinks on point, food fresh and fun options for shareables. Vibes for days. We will be back for a luxe yet chill elevated weeknight spot again. Tough to find Monday open restaurants and bars in the cities but this place was spot on.

Craft cocktails are fabulous with huge flavor burst. Best Happy Hour I have found in Twin Cities. Oysters for $1.50 yes that's right $1.50!!!!! Appetizers galore and great entree's and sandwiches. I found this place and have been there 5 times. I have a reservation again for Tuesday! Come you will love

Was just Invited to have dinner with a friend who eats there regularly and kept bugging me to check it out. Honestly, I love Bar and Cart. It's crowded, Loud, has a great atmosphere, yummy cocktails and, most of all, delicious food!! Everything was most excellent. Do make sure you reserve a table ahead of time at this popular restaurant to ensure you get a seat. Oh, and don't forget to order the nachos.

If this place doesn't yet have a Michelin star it should! Wonderful, decadent food in perfect portions, warm and helpful staff, exciting energy and ambiance, oil lamp candles, a charming gallery of original artwork, clean delightfully decorated restroom, so much to love about this place!! Highly recommend the green tomato caprese and the lamb chops...

This place is awesome ! Great for dates or intimate couple dinners. Menu is different & diverse w/ lots of selection for whatever you're in the mood for. Cocktails were done very well ! Great atmosphere & vibe that is totally for the area. Special shoutout to Terry our waitress who was awesome & 1of the owners, Brian who took time out to talk about the creation of a vision w/ his partner & attempting to make that dream reality !!! They have definitely succeeded & will be the money shot for those lovers looking for a special spot to create memories !!! We've been around, dined all over the world & this place has it going on !!!

I frequent Bar Cart as I love the ambiance, oysters, burrata, happy hour, and selection of cocktails and wine! Though I love the food and drinks, the service always seems to be lacking. It seems like they need to add an extra server or two to the floor or a food runner. It typically takes a while to be greeted and followed up by servers. I know the cocktails are a little more extensive than most places, but 20 minutes or so for a margarita or old fashioned seems a bit long. If this only happened a few times, I would be understanding -but this has happened almost every time I've been no matter how slow or busy it is. Same goes with waiting for food. No matter if it's a small app like a spread or ribeye, I no budget to wait at least 30 minutes before receiving any food. The other day we ordered a dozen oysters and it took about 45 minutes. I keep going back hoping the service improves, but it's been the same the last 5 or so times I've dined in. I wouldn't recommend if you are in a time crush as it's easily a 2 hour visit. I hope they consider having more servers on the floor at a time or hiring some sort of support staff to help mitigate this issue.

Went here for date night. Food & drinks were delicious. Service was a little slow but it was completely full.

Great dinner and amazing cocktails. My friend had the Vesper which she enjoyed and I had the signature cocktail Hush Money, which was maybe my new favorite cocktail ever. For appetizers, we had the roasted garlic, which was lovely. The bread was chewy. It could've been crispier on the outside, maybe baked in the oven or warmed would have been nice. We shared the baby kale salad with blueberries, roasted butternut squash, shaved Parmesan, and a fresh egg. It was fabulous. She had the beef tips which I thought were fine but I wasn't overly impressed by and I had the grilled cheese which was really yummy. The side salad was a bit bland but a nice palate cleanser next to the very cheesy sandwich. Our waitress was wonderful albeit she did call us "Dears" which I hate when they are the ages of my children (but thats just me). It was busy but I felt like each side of the house did a great job keeping up. The bar is really intriguing and tastefully rustic looking. The main dining room is cozy with large works of art that are both peaceful and statement pieces. The entryway has an amazing wallpaper that catches the eye, and really pulls you in to the coziness beyond. Will be back for sure.

The food, drinks, and ambience is great. The menu is a bit spendy though so I don't recommend this as a regular spot to visit frequently as that can definitely leave a mark on your bank account. Other than that it's a good spot to be if you have the money for it. The inside lobby is pretty spacious but the seating is quite crowded so you'll definitely rub elbows with someone. They have live music as well which I've yet to be there for but I'm sure that's a great experience. Parking is a bit difficult.

First time there and thoroughly enjoyed happy hour! Food was great and service even better!

Small, cozy, and noisy, the food is excellent, and the service attentive. While all we had was great, the bolognese was a revelation- the best I've had in the Cities. We can't wait to go again.

We went on 6/3/23 at 8pm for oysters. We were seated by the hostess who provided us with a laminated Happy Hour menu and the regular paper menu. Two items were highlighted in green on the regular menu - the oysters and nachos. The price for oysters was $1.49 per oyster on both the regular menu and Happy Hour menu. The hostess returned to take our order and we ordered 10 oysters. She mentioned the price was incorrect on the menu, and that the actual price was $3 per oyster. She said the price was a misprint and was meant for a promotion next week. I pointed out that the Happy Hour menu also featured the oysters for $1.49 and she replied it was no longer Happy Hour. I asked her to show me the Happy Hour hours on the menu and she stated they were not on the menu. I pointed out that the hours were not only missing from Happy Hour menu, the hours weren't posted anywhere. So when we're handed Happy Hour menus a reasonable person would believe it's happy hour. She only smiled and said "I'm sorry." We went ahead and ordered them anyway along with nachos, and when the food came it was delivered without napkins, silverware or plates. Terrible, terrible service and misleading pricing on the menu. The kicker? You don't get an option for tipping - it's automatically included at 20% on the bill. Never returning and do not recommend.
