Absolutely delicious. The plates are well curated and the drinks are top notch. Low key vibe that makes you wanna get comfortable and stay a while. We honestly didn’t have a single thing that we didn’t love.

Highly recommend! Had family in town and dropped in for an impromptu dinner & so glad we did. We had a great time, our server, Megan, was super attentive, efficient, and had such a fun sense of humor - she really made our night. The food was fabulous as well - we ordered a bunch of items to share. Everything was absolutely delicious!

We went here last night for the first time. Talk about a warm greeting- that we got as soon as we walked in ! Very cute inside with numerous seating options. The food is adventurous and delicious. We tried so any fun things ! The shrimp plate and mushroom plate were excellent ! Great wine list from Europe …We are definitely going back.

First time here. They haven't been open long. People are wonderful! Do stop by - well worth the trip. Fresh ingredients and creative mixes with Med flair. Abigail is fabulous!! A gem of a human. Consider yourself lucky to have her as your server! Enjoy!

A bit of slow service but thats granted with such a booming new restaurant. INCREDIBLE food and drinks, absolutely must get the whipped feta. 10/10 will be back again!

So Happy to go down the street to a cool cocktail bar with amazing small plates without even leaving Johns Island. Great tapas like menu. We had a delicious crudo, amazing fresh salad and a special that we really hope stays on the menu. I hesitate posting this for fear we won’t be able to get a future spot at the bar. So glad they’re here!

We really enjoyed Bar Copa! The vibe is lively and bright and great music. They have a great cocktail menu, wine list and some incredible dishes. We loved the seafood options and really nice chopped salad. Followed by the best shrimp dish and desert. I’m excited to go back and try some of the fun wines and dinner specials. A new gem on Johns Island with great service. Feels like you’re eating downtown. We will be back!

OMG! This place is FABULOUS!!!!! I almost don't want to write this review because I'm afraid I won't be able to get into the place in the future-it's that good. Hip vibe. Attentive wait staff. Fun drinks. Delicious food. Tapas style entrees with unique twists. I thought I was in Barcelona but it Johns Island!!!! Love this place. So glad it's here.

Highly recommend! The food and service were Whipped Feta, tuna tartare, greek chopped salad, and the pasta special were all phenomenal. There were two of us and it felt like the perfect amount of food to split. Maybe could have added another dish or two! Will def be back!

I mean! Our server was a gem! The place is gorgeous. The cocktails are strong and creative. Each dish we ordered was bomb! That salad is the stuff of dreams! Whipped feta rims the bowl! Mushroom dish to die for! All of it, amazing! Show them some love and let's keep them on the island!

What a great addition to Johns Island! I decided to visit for a meetup with friends. We were initially worried that we wouldn't get in without a reservation, but we were able to be seated. The owner and service were great. We were warmly and quickly given a review of the menu and popular items. This place had chill vibe and the outdoor music was awesome! We went with the lobster dip, tuna tartare, and the whipped feta. All were so good. The lobster dip had chunks of lobster all through it and it was served with buttery garlic bread. It was so filling. The tuna tartare was tasted fresh and flavorful. We ate every bit. Lastly, the drink menu had great selections. I tried a limoncello cocktail and a glass of white. They have so many drink options to choose from (cocktails, wines, etc.). If you are on Johns, give this place a try!

Great staff super friendly. A cute little place but don't be fooled the food is amazing. Nice small plates that really highlight the ingredients. The whipped feta was my favorite.

It's a great little bar with very creative mixologists. Incredible mixed drinks and small plates. I took my son and his wife there. They were from Los Angeles. Both thought they were home. It's got a few outside tables for your pets.

A great addition to the Johns Island restaurant scene! Made our first trip to Bar Copa last night, which was the first of what will be many more to come. Everything our party of four had was great - whipped feta, potatoes for small plates and the crab dip, shrimp a la plancha with fidelo for larger plates. Our favorite was the mushrooms. Perfect atmosphere for sharing plates and drinks. Very nice wine, beer and cocktail options. Service was impeccable too (thanks Meghan!) This will become one of our go-tos without a doubt.

We are huge foodies, been to over 150 restaurants in the 4+ years we've lived here so not easily impressed...Happy to report the new Mediterranean place, Bar Copa, hits it out of the park! Downtown food and drink quality without the drive or expense. Love the atmosphere, we've sat at a table, the bar, and outside...stellar service no matter where you're sitting. We've tried most of the menu and highly recommend the tuna tartare, limoncello ( their most popular cocktail)and try their gelato for dessert.. especially loved the vanilla with an olive oil drizzle and sea salt along with pistasio. This place is a welcome change from typical Charleston cuisine which we love too.. you leave full but not uncomfortably stuffed... healthy good for you food never tasted so good!! Highly recommend!!!

If there was a ten star rating I would give it the 10! The owner is part of the hands on staff, which I think is fantastic. His team is incredibly talented, kind and attentive. The small menu is the perfect amount. Tried most of their dishes. Spectacular! Full bar. My mission is to be a regular, if not number one customer! They are that good

Food is amazing! Ordered takeout and was told I was their first takeout order (they just had their grand opening) so they don't really have a system in place for that yet, but they were really nice and friendly about it. Food is a little on the pricey side, but what isn't nowadays.

5 Stars well earned for Bar Copa! We were greeted immediately by friendly faces. We sat at the bar and had the Octopus and Pan Con Tomate. It was fantastic! My boyfriend and I love to cook, we often talk about making dishes with love and if it's really good we say it was made with a lot of love. The food here tasted like it was made with a lot of love and consideration. The menu is small but mighty. We met the owner who was gracious, friendly and I could feel he has a passion for what he is doing.

Incredible food. The mix of flavors was outstanding and complimentary. Friendly and supportive staff. Quick service from kitchen to table. I had the mushroom entree and wanted to lick the plate. Did I?! You guess! Hubby had the Italian picnic sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. We will return for sure! Congrats to the owners and staff for providing a wonderful meal.

Brand new restaurant on Johns Island in St Johns Square off Maybank. Delicious small plates and luscious cocktails! Tried three dishes and the gelato, plus one of the cocktails in a pineapple glass. This will be one of my regular food stops! Great service, friendly staff, great social vibe. I'll be back!!

Sat at the bar and ordered an Italian Picnic Sandwich which was spectacular, and a "Cousin of Death" cocktail which was equally delicious. The service was great, vibe was excellent and the ambiance is exactly what Johns Island needed. Will definitely be back.

Food and drinks were really yummy, service was attentive and friendly, place was cute!
