Bar dos Arcos

Pricey and if you don't arrive early there will be a huge wait period (my group got early but still had to wait for over an hour)... however, they serve a few of their drinks in the wait area that help the time pass by. The decoration and ambience inside is worth the wait and the drinks and shareables they have are amazing and worth the price and wait. A great experience to be had in the São Paulo nightlife.

A really interesting bar in the center of the city. We waited about an hour to get in on a Friday night but there are drinks you can get outside while you wait. The cocktails inside are very unique and unlike anything I’ve ever tried. Some were great and others are for a more acquired taste. The staff were friendly and there were some people playing music inside. Would recommend to try for a drink in an interesting location. Area isn’t very safe at night so make sure you have an Uber come to the exact location for pickup.

"Great Atmosphere and Service, Food Needs Improvement " I recently visited this establishment and was thoroughly impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and the quality of the drinks. The ambiance is fantastic, making it a great spot for an evening out.The highlight, without a doubt, was the exceptional service. From the moment we walked in until we left, the staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. They truly went above and beyond, which made our visit memorable.However, while the drinks were top-notch, the food didn't quite meet the same standard. It wasn't bad, but it didn't live up to the high expectations set by the other aspects of our visit. With some improvement in this area, this place could be outstanding.In summary, I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a place with a great vibe and excellent drinks. If the food matches up to the rest of the experience in the future, it will be unbeatable!

Beautiful place with fantastic architecture and a menu with many options. Delicious as expected, presented with elegance. I can recommend it. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the broken dish used to serve the food. For the location and price, the company should have more care about it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My experience was the best ever. We were host by Joao and Luna whose treats us so well. The bar is particularly impressive itself, so discrete even being located on the historical, beautiful and elegant building of the Municipal Theater. At the entrance you have a beautiful Hall where you can comfy wait for a table, while admiring the beauty of the theater, now from inside. But the high light of the night is nothing else than a basement… and such a one. The architecture are preserved original, but with a touch of contemporaneity, they have 3 different ambiance and every step into those columns you feel the sophistication of the place. Red Room, Bright tables, low light lounge and THE BAR is just mind blowing. Quick service, great finger foods, perfect and original drinks beautifully done. I know is looking like someone paid me to do those comments, but believe me. Is one of the best bars I ever been in Brazil.

Overrated. Ambiente is definitely nice, but not unmissable. Cocktails were underwhelming. Asked for 2 not too sweet drinks, both our cocktails were super sweet. Prices are still okay, but high for SP. Service was attentive. Not worth the hype and definitely not worth a long waiting type. Get your insta shots somewhere else, save time, money and have really outstanding drinks (oh and no, they don‘t have the quiz anymore to find you the perfect drink for your taste ;)

Cool place to sip cocktails. A must try in Sao Paolo's night scene. Great drinks 🍷, excellent service, friendly staff, and good food. Highly recommend. This must be one of the coziest bar ambience in South America.

Located under the Municipal Theatre…This bar is one of the hidden gems of Sao Paolo. The atmosphere is amazing and the drinks are creative and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great date spot or a unique place to meet and socialize… this is your place!

This was my favorite bar that I went to in SP! The drinks are crafted perfectly, the ambience is fun and great for a date or drinks with friends. I couldn't tell you the names of any of the drinks, but I tried almost the entire menu and they were all great. My favorite cocktail had açaí in it, but I can't remember the name. Just look for the açaí one! We got gnocchi and the Brie dish to split and both were delicious. Great and fast service, delicious cocktails, and a fun/moody atmosphere!

Visited Sao Paulo for work purposes and went to Bar Dos Arcos for dinner on a Wednesday. From an American POV (San Francisco or New York) this place has the capability to rival any trendy bar (with good eats) of either American City. Unless your Portuguese is good, you gotta go with a local. They assign an entry card to each person which allows you to wander the open seating areas and order and drink from different locations, this is something rarely seen in the US. Your total is tabulated from this assigned card, so don't lose or trade it. For Americans and Europeans, the benefit of Brazil is the strength of our currencies which makes everything about 65%-70% off of equivalent food and drinks in the US at the time of this writing (July 2022.) Well appointed and freedom to move from place to place. This is not a restaurant, it's a bar that also served great food. This is not your sit-down dinner place, think mobile and meeting lots of people outside of your circle. Don't be shy.... Service is not like the US, it's important to have an aggressive local to help flag down the wait staff, once you do, the service is great. They hire an attractive staff so it's fun to interact.
