Bar du Bouillon

We ate here twice during our visit and couldn’t fault a thing. The service was brilliant, the food was delicious, and very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris.

We are staying nearby and our hotelier recommended this place for dinner as we were tired from traveling and didn’t want to walk very far. It’s a very beautiful and classic yet unstuffy French restaurant we enjoyed very much. The staff are extremely friendly, accommodating for English speakers and quite entertaining. We didn’t make a reservation and decided to wait for a table at the bar. It was a busy Monday night so we waited around 30 min but they comped us 2 glasses of wine and a glass of liqueur we were curious about. Our meal was great and perfect protons. For 2 3-course meals and 4 drinks (minus the comped wine) it was about €107 which we found quite reasonable for such a nice relaxing meal.

The waitress never took our order and he was offended even when I told him nicely. He took the orders of the customers who arrived before us. I think it depends if you like to the waitress. Bad service.

Place is well located. I was quite surprised how great the inside looked. Great menu with a mix of different things. Food was amazing. I have the filet de boeuf. Great staff. Will go back next time I am in Paris

Delightful experience! The place has a magnific "art nouveau" genuine décoration. The service was irreproachable and the food delicious ! We took the lunch week day menu which it as a very reasonable price. Very, very nice overall!

Ornate atmosphere that tends to cater to the larger groups or the corporate crowd. Quick service, but fairly standard French eating…
