Bar Elba - Waterloo

If you lived in London this is a must go place to experience their cocktails and yummy food , great for selfie 🤳 great for a big group of friends to hang out and have fun ! Very convenient for meeting up with friends or colleagues just a few minutes a way from Waterloo trains station 🚉

Yes yes yes! Came here for Valentine’s Day after a recommendation. Perfect! Lovely vibe, polite waitress and bartenders. Exceeded expectations. Beautiful view and overall just very happy to have spent our night together here. Wish we had remembered to take a picture in the photo booth ☹️ nice, modern and clean toilets. Would definitely recommend

Went during the day and were initially told there were no tables available but we were welcome to stand at the bar. However as there were plenty of empty tables we asked another member of staff if we were OK to sit down for half an hour and they said yes. We had two cocktails each and they were absolutely delicious and very welcome on a hot day. Views from the top terrace were great, although we only discovered this seating area on the way out. There are a lot of stairs up to the bar but it was worth the effort. Seemed to be getting quite busy when we left at 4pm, I imagine in the evening it is packed

Fab find for city drinks! I loved the atmosphere and decor at Bar Elba. We booked a table and were seated at the very top, with gorgeous 360 views. The staff were super nice and the service was fast. Usual Central London prices but not too bad compared to other places! I’ve knocked a star off because I was disappointed with the food - I ordered a pulled pork burger with rainbow slaw and cheese, sadly the cheese was the plastic American style and the burger base was too soggy to eat with my hands (a pet hate of mine). Also the rainbow slaw was just coleslaw. HOWEVER that aside I absolutely loved Bar Elba and will be back very soon! Thanks guys!

Booked an igloo for an Xmas Birthday do... really excellent service with friendly staff. Went above and beyond for us. Fantastic views of London... excellent concept bar. Really fun and good vibes. Food and drinks were delish. Can't wait to go again!

Amazing evening here at Bar Elba the other night. Had a nice table in the middle, the staff were super friendly and energetic, everyone seemed to be having a great time. Nice selection of drinks and unique cocktails I really liked. Definitely recommend the triple thunder and hibiscus margerita!! Didn't try any food but looked really good and very popular. We had one of the party pods for a few hours and all had a good time. The service can be a little slow and the quality of the pods aren’t quite as good as you’d expect from the photos. Good views outside of the pods and the atmosphere in the main bar area looked lively.

Very fun with great vibes and entertainment, but kinda pricey for weak jugs of cocktails and less prosecco. The drinks also stopped serving half an hour before the advertised end of the bottomless brunch. The staff are very nice though.

The drinks are a little bit expensive, but we did get a free drink for signing up with an email and they have a student discount. They let us on the rooftop bar in one of the domes for free and we were able to order food and it was so good. The vibes and ambiance was fantastic

Zombie 8.45/10- not bad, tastes like passion fruit, does indeed make you a Zombie the morning after ‍ apparently stronger than a Long Island iced tea Pim lemonade 8.67/10- this is great it literally tastes like mint lemonade Tequila lemonade 4.35/10- they wouldn't make this a pim lemonade but tequila as vodka replacement, too strong.

If you are looking for a Waterloo Sunset- Bar Elba is not the place to go. Located in a somewhat seedy area of Waterloo, it is a little difficult to sus out. Once you do find the entrance, get ready to hike a mountain of stairs. NO JOKE- I was gaspin for air by the time we reached the top! The gents at the host stand were lightly laughin- sayin this happened all the time and we could catch our breathe before finding a spot to seat. The vibe is a bit young and decent prices. You would go here for pre-drinks. The seating is picnic style, there are some cute Inta-worthy neon signs and there is a very cute photo booth! The rooftop is covered, which is perfect for a rainy day- as you get quite a few in London! The drinks were decent- an order at the bar and take to seat style. The one thing I will say is the restrooms (loos) are soooo cute. Loved the jungle vibe and the cute wallpaper!

Had a reservation for our larger group. No lines when we got there (weekday around 6pm) but the place was already packed. I would not go here unless you do like noisy crowds. Drinks are good but food is just average. I would go for drinks and preferably with 1-2 friends to be able to sit around a table. There are no nice views really but the ambience, once the sun goes down, is cozy.

Guru is the best!!! Love this bar and all of the hospitality!! Best place in London for sure!!

This company is horrendous & have ruined my daughter's birthday. I booked a pod for her 19th. It's expensive but she missed out on her 18th birthday party last year due to lockdown, & she has had a very difficult year losing a family member to covid. However, a few mins after booking I saw the FAQ section they said no under 21. Within minutes I emailed them & asked for a refund. They refused. I explained that t I wouldn't be able to afford a party for my daughter but they did not care. However it's not clear that they have a no under 21 policy. There was no warning when paying or anywhere else on their website. I'm entitled to a 14 day cooling period but they seem to think they are above the law. There is adequate time for them to regain the booking with another party (most restaurants allow cancellation up to 48 hours) . Interestingly, after telling people about this I've heard the food & service isn't very good and they water down their drinks massively. But what do you expect with a company who only cares about taking your money!!!!

Great place to grab drinks, although if you go during busy times (which tend to be whenever it is nice out), you will struggle to get table space. It tends to be loud, so wouldn't recommend for intimate conversations or anything like that. Use the Dusk app to get 2 for 1 deals on Mojitos and Margs. Absolutely fire. Cool views when nice, always an awesome ambience, and I love the theme - Napoleon taking a vacation with a bunch of his boys to drink beers. What could be better?

What a fun place for happy hour. It's buy one get one free and the cocktails are great. You would think with the discounted price they would go cheap on the cocktail but NOOOOO they were made to perfection and would def go back when I am in London again

Fucking awesome. The views from the rooftop are phenomenal. All of the drinks are nice cocktails and it truly is a great way to experience the city of London.

Only let in people over 21 which you don't find out till you get to the door. Basically laughed at us for assuming otherwise and didn't have any recommendations as to where we could go.

Bar Elba exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend going to the happy hour, it is 2-4-1 and the drinks are made to perfection. The lovely bartender Tom knows exactly how to make a mean drink, his skills are of superior quality. Talk about having a gift. Kept coming back for more and more, could not get enough! Very friendly staff. Friendly enough to make you come back every night for a week straight. Will definitely be coming back in the near future.
