Bar Envie

Seen this place on TikTok and had to come partake. Atmosphere is great. By far thee cleanest bar bathroom I ever seen! Had the build your own float. Rum, vanilla ice cream and Coca Cola. This float is really good. Pimento cheese and crackers wasn’t what I was used to but it was good. Normally I have it warm/melted. Smothered pomme frites was tasty. That gravy was 🔥🔥🔥!!! The field salad and garlic vinaigrette, who would’ve thought that go together!!! Now to shrimp and grits!!! If the chef was here I would give them a huge kiss and a hug!!! I will definitely be coming back and bringing all my friends and family with me!!! This is my new hangout spot.

The food, was impressively delicious. The drinks were solid on flavor. If you're looking for a good place to hangout and have amazing food, this is the place to go! I recommend the brussel sprouts, and the plantains banana Foster. I highly recommend this place. The vibe was very chill, and the the price was good for you get.

They have great cocktails. My favorites are Peach Sour and Dill or No Dill. Also got to try the frog legs, pomme frites, shrimp & grits. They were all really good and the bartender made us vodka shots with lemon and salt. A little expensive but well worth it.

Great food, great drinks, great staff, great ambiance! Happy hour is a plus, and we played video games on their TVs! Such a great neighborhood hangout

Decided to "try something new" this night and it didn't disappoint. At first we walked in and sat at a table and realized there wasn't a server that was going to the tables. So we loved and sat at the bar. Our bartender was really nice and had great recommendations for what food to get. We ordered two orders of the blue cheese bacon wrapped dates and shared the fried chicken sandwich (which was SPICY!) and delicious. We came to Bar Envie for the menu displayed on Yelp as well as expecting to get some New Orleans vibes. The New Orleans feel was not there on a Friday night as much with the night we went because of a house dj playing instead of jazz music. This wasn't bad because the music videos from MTV Classic gave a great backdrop to the tunes. A great date night bar with spectacular food. My only complaint is there are no tequila cocktails on the menu. Please consider making one! I’ll for sure come back.

My fiance and I went in tonight for our last anniversary before we get married, and it was such a wonderful experience! They were super busy, but they took such wonderful care of us and the food was INCREDIBLE. Absolutely fantastic staff on the floor and an amazing team in the kitchen. We couldn't be happier with our choice of restaurant for our anniversary. Thank you all so much for a magical night!

**EDIT - Bar Envie is no longer in business at this location and has since been replaced by "Tennessee Jack's". It did feel like the ability to enjoy the place steadily declined, on part of my friends and I, after they started hosting DJ's in their already small space and the ability to have conversations became nearly impossible for us. It's too bad, the cocktails and the food were quite enjoyable. - - - - - A group of friends took me here after we finished a nearby dance class and I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, despite it being a busy Friday night. The cocktails were mixed well and tasted really good. There is a full bar but the signature drinks offered enough novelty where we all stuck to sampling each one, which was more than enough for the four of us. And the food... oh yes. I will be back. I recommend the fried brussel sprouts and/or the wrapped figs. But everything was really tasty. The frog legs were also really yummy. We'll probably be back. It seems like a good place to bring a date as well if you happen to be looking for spots in the area.

Had a great time sitting at the bar with friends. I highly recommend the deviled eggs (we ordered a second round they were so good). The Bananas foster is also an excellent way to wrap up the evening. Looking forward to going back to check out Thursday night trivia.
