"At the Grand Canal Shoppes I noticed a new bar that launched with little fanfare in place of Zeffirino; created by the Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group (operators of more than 50 local outposts), it has changed little of the interior but now serves a menu of “unique crafted cocktails, craft beer and wine,” has been permitting customers free viewing of Golden Knights games, and is open daily from noon to 11 p.m. (midnight on Friday and Saturday). Themed specialty cocktails include the $12 “Venetian Sour,” the $13 “Sparkling Gondola,” and a series of coffee-infused late-night drinks such as the $13 “Fire Cracker” made with hot coffee, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, Licor 43 and simple syrup." - Bradley Martin
