Bar HWRD was definitely the move on a Saturday night! We went the day daylight savings time kicked in, so we lost an hour and didn’t get to stay long—but the vibe was lit. Great music, high energy, and a fun crowd. Definitely going back to get the full experience!

Plenty of parking. The staff was very attentive. I had a burger n fries. It was ok. Something you could do at home yourself if you cook. Nice atmosphere and great outdoor hang out. And killer TVs for games. Although it may be reserved. Not a bad hang out spot. Drinks were pretty good. I did have lettuce instead of a bun. Per pictures. A solid 3 stars. There is an apparent dress code and a bouncer to check if you’re over 21. Which I was.

Sooo Bar HWRD how have I not left a review here yet when I come so often, no idea, but here we are. I come here during the day on the weekends to grab some good freak’n wings and drinks, and to listen to music. Watching football here is always a good time! I enjoy chatting with the staff and people watching. If you go at night, expect a different atmosphere and a more college crowd (nothing wrong with that!), just a heads up. They have a nice patio area with a few jumbo size games which I have played a bit. One of my favorite Tampa spots! What was ordered: Good freak’n wings! Wings = Freak’n good (Hot & Lemon pepper mix, you’re welcome)

Javi the bartender holding it down for this place. His genuine customer service is enough as it is. Give this man a promotion. There literally was zero guest for over 2 hours on Sunday and instead of avoiding it, he was so hospitable and catered to the only guest you had for a bit. He embodied the true example of hospitality. Much appreciated from a rare occasional break from our lives In the hospitality world. Thank you Javi for providing that!

Rasist security… wouldn’t let me in cz i was black?? he admitted it. I go to that bar every time but tonight was different for some “reason”. Wooow this is 2025 you can’t have such guys working here cz they look big with a beard??? What is this. Discrimination at its finest.

You will get banned by security bc they get paid to kick you out if you start a verbal argument with one of the people they know. Also they let under age kids go by paying security. Just a big mess and unprofessional.

I have an awesome time at Bar HWRD, and I've got to give a huge shoutout to Jackie for making it extra special! She was super friendly, quick with drinks, and had great recommendations. The atmosphere is electric and the music/DJ keeps the energy levels high. All of the staff are very friendly, attentive, and do a great job making sure everyone feels welcome and has a great time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and vibrant venue.

Had a great experience - took some of the staff members for a Q1 celebration. Niki was attentive held her own against the pickiest drinkers of the group. Good selection at this bar, good music. There's space for competitive giant beer pong and the participants were respectful and not overly aggressive.
