12 New-Wave Vermouth Bars In Spain - Barcelona - The Infatuation

"Easily one of Valencia’s coolest bars, thanks to its funky décor—a mix of vintage ads, Gustav Klimt replicas, Catholic relics, and a random New Jersey Nets jersey, all dressed up in a bohemian Valenciano alt-punk style. They’re known for their rotating varieties of tortilla española, but you’ll want to zero in on the mix queso, packed with flavor and richness thanks to the Roquefort blue cheese inside. Wash down your tapas and tortilla with some house vermut, served with an orange slice soaked in cassalla, an anise-flavored liqueur that adds an extra kick. It’s located in the beachside neighborhood of Cabanyal, so head here after a sun-soaked morning at the beach." - david neimanis

I often pass by this place, but it’s always full of people. Today, I finally got the chance to step inside and see what it’s all about. The atmosphere here outshines the food—maybe that’s not entirely fair to say since I only tried one dish. But clearly, the restaurant’s vibe is the standout, incredibly charming, with so many cultural elements packed into such a small space. It’s just so much fun.

Nice, small neighborhood bar with some good tapas, including vegetarian options. It's a lively bar, with some cool decorations and a local, non-touristy vibe.

One of the best food&drink places in Valencia. Perfect service and wide range of tapas. Fantastic hipster atmosphere.

Definitely check it out if you’re near!! Great food, very nice beer but what truly caught my eye was the incredible atmosphere there. Lots of people laughing, talking, friends coming over to meetup, it makes you not want to leave the place but stay longer. Except for that, don’t even let me talk about that incredible decor! All I’m gonna say is, I absolutely adored the rough out dolls hanging from the ceiling.

One of my absolute favorites in Valencia (and definitely in Cabanyal). A bit alternative, with a great vibe. The staff could not be more friendlier (even if language sometimes was an issue). Get a vermouth (€1,50!!!), some olives and munch on the amazing tortillas. Come for a lunch in the sun or for some drinks and tapas in the evening. Lovely.

Cool Tapas bar with yummy food need to try the Vermouth caseo. The owner and the staff were very friendly. We were there early so it wasn't crowded but I would think it would get packed during peak hours you need to put it on your list

Incredible bar! Javi es increible! Javi delivered an amazing service even though he was super busy. Spend an amazing time in Bar Lapaca trying their food and drinks. You choose between different types of Spanish style tortillas. We tried pumpking-goat's cheese and onion tortilla, sausage-black pudding-broad beans and typical potato tortilla and wow. Amazing all of them. You must also try their home made Vermouth. It is a must try. If I have visitors, I will definitely bring them here for an amazing Valencian experience. Well done Javi!

Bustling tapas bar, great food and really well priced. We had the smoked sardines, goats cheese, patatas bravas and sausages in cider. Our eyes were bigger than our bellies but I regret nothing!
