Bar Louie - One Loudoun

I came here for the $3 mimosa, but the food was great and the waiters were super friendly. The Citrus Grilled Salmon I ordered was delicious, and my partner's NewOrleans Chicken & Shrimp Pasta was also very satisfying. Great restaurant, highly recommended.

The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service. The cheeseburger was delicious and well-prepared. The fish and chips, while fresh, were a bit lacking in flavor. Still, it was an enjoyable experience overall, and I would consider coming back.

Not very good. Just missing attention to detail. Old fashioned served without a cocktail cherry. Fish and chips served without lemons or tartar sauce. Cole slaw with no dressing or seasoning of any kind. Just underwhelming at every turn. This place makes their money on alcohol and doesn’t give effort as a restaurant. Probably why it was so easy to get a table on Friday night at 7pm.

I just love their place always. Their food, drinks and obviously music. Fun place.

Ordered fish sandwich. I opted for the $14.95 special at lunchtime. It came with soup or small salad. There were fries with the sandwich. All the food was cooked well. I also received donut holes. Yep this is a good place to eat lunch.

Great food and atmosphere! I travel to town here lots and never knew about this place. It was recommended to me by the hotel staff. This is my new go to place for dining out!

Well I did have a bad experience last week and I'm new to the area from Florida. my food was under cooked and me and my girl had gotten sick for a few days. Moving forward I spoke with one of the managers last night and I think his name was Dan and he gave replaced the 2 meals for us and it was absolute delicious. he didn't hesitate to take care of us and I think the guy who assisted with the food and help getting us to the manager name was Richard if I remember correctly. I highly recommend this place and I'm definitely coming back. Thanks Dan and richard

If you’re heading to Bar Louie in One Loudoun, do yourself a favor and ask for Bishop! He brings great energy, top-tier service, and always makes sure everyone feels welcome and taken care of. Whether you’re stopping in for happy hour, grabbing dinner, or just catching a game, Bishop’s attention to detail and good vibes make the experience that much better. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does. Definitely one of the best in the building — Bar Louie is lucky to have him!

Maybe it's very difficult to compete with bunch of alike businesses located steps away from, maybe it's difficult to be successful with so generic menu,like burgers and Caesar salad. Of course,it's hard to impress,but I should say that service was amazing, very friendly and professional servers. I ordered salmon with asparagus and roasted potatoes and it was very tasty,sauce was herb beurre blanc,delicious I should say. But asparagus was not trimmed,so half of stems were inedible. Our party enjoyed burger and fish and chips,but biggest issue was non working air conditioner with 80 degrees outside. This was very unpleasant, I think they shouldn't serve food when cooling is broken. All in all,nothing wrong with food,but with this much choices around not sure when I'll think of giving them another try.

Excellent service and food and drinks, a little on the pricey side but overall it's always good to go there, not my first time and not my last time for sure.

A wonderful place to get food and drinks with a group of friends! Both are so delicious, and my go-to drink is any of their sangrias! With quality food, an extensive array of signature drinks and cocktails, and live music at night, Bar Louie is the perfect place to hit up for a casual date night or a fun bar night with friends! Service is a hit or miss, but I've had more hits than misses here. If you want to avoid crowds, I recommend dining in during the day or before the dinner rush.

We dined outdoors with friends tonight. Our waiter, Andrew was attentive and friendly. He checked in periodically and took care of a few requests we had. My mushroom swiss chicken sandwich was fantastic. We will be back.

I came in today or later this evening I guess in a pretty bad mood because it was so hot and my dog had ran away so I need a quick drink what I thought was gonna be. A one and done turned out to be a great experience. I'm at a server name maddie who knew exactly how to turn my day around with her upbeat attitude and her witty jokes. She really turned my day around. I'm not keen on places like like this because it's known for horrible service, but maddie has definitely changed my mind. I would definitely be back as long as she's there.

Best place ever!!!! Devon is probably the bartender I've ever met. Staff is amazing and extremely attentive. Couldn't ask for a better place to be tbh. 10/10 recommend

I was wearing a pride shirt and the owner or manager (? Not sure but he was talking to a contractor about work he wanted done on the patio) stopped me as I left the restaurant and asked to read my shirt. He then laughed in my face and said that's funny. (It was not a joke shirt) Not lgbtq friendly establishment

This place was amazing. We had a birthday celebration with a few friends, and the food was great. 10/10. The service was fast. We enjoyed the DJ later on in the night. It's a great place to be.

Came here for lunch. Jordan was our waiter. He was attentive and friendly and a very efficient waiter. Order the spicy honey chicken sandwich and it was amazingly great. The tater tops that came with were crisp and hot and not greasy at all.. some of the best I have ever had. My souse got the chicken Caesar and said it was fresh and tasty and they were impressed that the chef used real Parmesan cheese that was fresh. This was a great lunch and we will be back

Jordan was incredibly attentive, made sure we knew what we were requesting would meet our needs (even if there were mushrooms on the dish ), and ensured we were in a great locations/lighting. Excellent food too!

There are no prices for any of the cocktails or beers in the menu, not sure if they change the prices randomly. Very disappointing to have to deal with this, will take my business elsewh.

Bar Louie is an old favorite when we lived in Herndon but since moving out to MD we don't have one so we drove back for the nostalgia. We use to rush to find a table on $5 burger nights. My kids always particularly liked Bar Louie. It's pretty laid back at this spot but I don't mind the vibe. It usually throws some people off who have never been to this location but it's usually "seat yourself". I come for the burgers and got an impossible cheeseburger. Food was good. Some hiccups with service but I think the guy was newish so understandable but overall good and would return again.

Great happy hour specials! I usually come on Monday's for the martini specials. Food is decent and prices are overall very reasonable. Devin at the bar is fantastic!

Came here for drinks and appetizers on Valentine's Day. Drinks were great and the cheese curds were yummy.

Had such a good experience with one of the bartenders today, super sweet and knowledgeable. Dev made my experience worth the visit. Recommended the Diva and honestly was the best martini Ive ever had in any restaurant. Food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back! for my first time here it was definitely the ride.

Good local watering hole in the area. Happy Hours has a good beer selection and apps. It's a kind of a singles hangout ... no issues, just saying. Tuesday Night there's the $5 Burgers not a bad deal... good burger.

Been here a few times during the week with my coworkers for happy hour. And we always leave happy. Good Happy hour prices glad bread and appetizers 1/2 off and cocktails love it! My fav veggie flatbread and dirty martini helps us make it through thr week. Customer service good, food and drinks always come out in a reasonable time no complaints here.

Came to this restaurant as my friends in Ashburn swore by this place. My two friends ordered cocktails. I ordered the donut holes. Can't speak to how the cocktails were. My donut holes were simply uninspiring. And yes you may say what does one expect with donut holes. I'd expect them to at least be warm and soft on the inside. These were hard as rock to the bite and dry as if they were refried upon refried. The chocolate sauce was watery, like Hershey syrup, then watered down. You'd expect they'd at least met a Ghirardelli chocolate, am Not even asking for Belgian chocolate! The service was the only thing notable about the whole experience. It was only 9pm and the lighting was was dark in the corner booth, how could anyone see what they're eating to enjoy their meal???? It felt like you're in these sleazy dance clubs with really bad music since there weren't much customers! Am not surprised.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this place - well this locations. I've been to Bar Louie plenty of times in DC and Tempe, AZ. It's always been fun times! We stopped in on a Saturday night, late, around 11 I believe. It was jammed packed. We were lucky to snag the only 2 seats at the bar. People hovering over your back to order. The bartenders are neglectful to the seated patrons, or at least they were to me. After 10 or 11, there's a late night menu only. Typically bar food, fried apps, no salads, burgers with fries or salad as a side but you can not order a salad as your meal. I thought that was pretty wack. We kept our drinks basic. Vodka pineapple. Gin and tonic. Basic! For food we went with the nachos and chicken quesadillas. Nothing to brag about with either. Wouldn't order either one again. Took 2 bites out of the quesadilla and spit it out. My friend ate a whole piece but didn't want another. It was a minced, southwest/Chipotle style chicken. Like frozen grocery store brand quesadillas. Hard pass! Wouldn't return.

Went here on a Saturday with friends for brunch. We arrived around noon and the place was empty. We sat ourselves and were promptly served. We ordered mimosas for the table and they were great. I wish I could say the same about the food. I ordered the Double Bacon & Egg Sandwich and felt like much was left to be desired. The breakfast potatoes were the highlight of the dish. My partner ordered the Baked Roma Omelet after being told that the restaurant was out of the Deep Dish French Toast. The omelet was very thin and disappointing. The entire omelet was lacking flavor except for a strange slightly fishy taste. The service was great. Our server had no issue with our party of 7. She was attentive and gave fast service. I would recommend this place for the service and the drinks but wouldn't recommend going here for brunch.

I will NEVER come back here. My friends and I came to enjoy our night. We arrived went to the bar to get drinks and then the dance floor. After a while my fiancé went to get our friends jacket when he was put into a choke hold by a patron. This started a fight and WE were kicked out being called a faggot and other names. The bouncer did not want to hear our story but told us we could come back tomorrow. This place does not support the LGBT community and promotes hate. I will never come back here and will tell all of my friends what happened at this location. We come to have a drink and fun, go to grab our jacket, get physically harassed, and get thrown out. This happened the night of 1/12/2023.

I wandered into the Ashburn outpost of Bar Louie while traveling for work. After multiple nights of takeout in my hotel room I was hoping for whatever passes for in-person dining these days. I had high hopes when I entered and saw they had found a way to create something like sitting at the bar (see photo). I was served a cold Lagunitas IPA in pretty short order. And then.... I waited for probably 15 minutes until further contact from the serving staff. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or poorly organized--seems a little of both, with individuals doing triple duty as bartender, barback, and server; other servers appeared occasionally but things appeared rather ad hoc. Staff was absolutely friendly and doing their best. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich which was quite tasty and piping hot, as were the fries. The fries were nice and crispy as well. No complaints about the food. I'd recommend Bar Louie as an option and will likely return on a future visit and update my review. Just be aware that they seem to be having some staffing/organizational challenges that may impact your experience.

Bar Louie is an amazing location for happy hour! I went there on a Thursday post work and had an excellent time. I ordered a passion and spice drink and it was incredible! I had a quesadilla and calamari for happy hour and the food was great as well. I highly recommend asking for some hour sauces because Bar Louie has their own custom hot sauces and they are great!

My family and I have been coming to the one Loudoun bar Louie location since it opened. I will be honest the experiences we have had over the years have fluctuated, but for the most part it is a very pleasant experience. There have been nights where we have gotten the wrong item, or service was slow. But 90% of the time it's great! The fries are always so delicious. The menu has changed a lot over the years as well, which has been very interesting to see. The staff is friendly and the service is usually very nice. The best day to go to bar Louie is Tuesdays because they have half priced burgers and flatbreads!

Checked out Bar Louie based on the atmosphere in the restaurant at that time, it was the right move. Excellent service from the start, we got seated pretty quickly. Once we got seated our waitress was there to start the drink orders and go over the menu. The food was good along with the margaritas, I'll definitely come back. One Loudon has ample parking for large groups.

Came for a happy hour. Got beer and appetizers. Beer was good, but appetizers were questionable. It was half off for appetizers(very limited selection), I would be pissed if I had to pay full price for it because it was not the best. We got chicken Buffalo flat bread- soggy, tons of salt, looks like someone forgot to fully cook it. We also got honey jalapeño boneless chicken wings. Well, it was pieces of chicken and they poured honey on top with some jalapeño slices- the laziest dressing ever. Chicken got soaked in honey, became soggy and basically sweet chicken pieces. Would not recommend. But the highlight of all this experience that waiter started making fun of my husband for not ordering fast enough. Maybe he was trying to be funny, but, c'mon- so disrespectful. Therefore we shall not return.

This restaurant is located at One Loudoun. There are multiple options here and like most this place leaves a lot to be desired. My homegirl and I came here on a Friday night to grab drinks. There were men standing at the door smoking and hitting on women. Yuck. We go inside and are sat immediately. The inside of the bar is very dark. I don't know if this is for ambiance or a vibe but it's just dark and creepy. We didn't stay long because outside of it being dark the food wasn't good. We both sent back what we ordered. I would not return.

Loved my lunch at Bar Louie one Loudoun! They had awesome brunch deals where I got a pitcher of grapefruit sangria to pair with my flatbread. I'd only ever been to the Bar Louie in Chicago years ago. This location did not disappoint! We were seated very quickly on a Sunday afternoon (and on a skins game day). Service was great, prompt, always checking in, and friendly. Veggie flatbread: I can't say enough about how amazing my flatbread was. I wanted something filling but light and this was the perfect choice. The veggies were crisp and fresh, while the hot honey added the perfect kick. Spiked sangria: The ruby rose spiked sangria was tasty. It wasn't very strong, but a great brunch choice for $15. They say it comes with about 3 servings, but I hit a fourth so it's a great deal!

If you ever go to bar Louie look for Steven. Best service. He's got that Riz. Try the wild berry marg

I love this place! The manager Patty is not only beautiful but so helpful and kind! Kevin the bartender was THE BEST!!!! Please ask for him! I've never left happier during a happy hour service was great and all I have to say is RIGHT ON!!

my friends and I come in at least twice a week and the service is amazing! All the workers here are extremely friendly. I highly recommend coming here for drinks and some bar snacks any day of the week. I especially enjoy Steven, Bishop and Malakai

We recently spent an evening at Bar Louie to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. We had a great time (great friends and company) but overall, the location itself was just "okay." First, the Pros/Good points: My friend had reserved a section to be used just for her friends/guests and that was set aside as promised with plenty of table space and room. They also had glasses and pitchers of water on the table in advance. Also, our waiter was great! He split the check for us (which couldn't have been easy 2 hours in with like 6 different checks) without complaint. He was also attentive , and even though drinks were slow to come out sometimes (newer bartender), he was forthcoming with that info so we weren't left waiting and wondering. Finally, the drinks "tasted" good. I had the Grand Lemon Drop Martini, The Star Martini and The Long Island Iced Tea. As well as several Lemon Drop shots. The atmosphere was also okay as it was not too loud to have a conversation. Now, the Cons/Bad points: The drinks, while tasting good, were just WEAK. Of course you don't want them so strong that people get too drunk, you also should not just be drinking mostly sugar and mixer. I am not sure if this is due to their policy or the bartender, but, if I am going out for a night on the town with friends, I want their to be actual alcohol in my drinks. So, just be aware. So, overall, not a bad night, but again, just "ok." There weren't a lot of people there (other bars in One Loudoun were quite busy) so it just got boring/slow fast. But we weren't there for a HUGE crowd. We were there for our friend. I would recommend this place maybe to start or if you want a quieter spot (without blasting music) but but not if you want drinks with a generous (or even fair) pour.
