Yelp
Dropped by before going to a concert nearby. It was prior to supper time, so the restaurant wasn't very busy at all. Most were sitting at or near the bar (which is huge) as there were lots of TV screens to watch different sporting events.
The vibe is modern industrial; exposed concrete floors and ceiling, windows that look like they roll up (garage style), and an accent brick wall. There's also an outdoor patio if you feel like dining outside.
Make reservations online so you can be seated when you arrive.
There's a free surface parking lot close to the restaurant.
THE FOOD.
- Chicken Quesadilla | Shredded chicken and cheese with spicy chili aioli. On the side is housemade salsa, guacamole, lettuce, sour cream, and jalapeños. Y'all, this is a great shareable appetizer! The spicy chili aioli isn't as spicy as one would expect and the quesadilla has good chicken and cheese portions.
- Bavarian Pretzels | Warm pretzel bites with everything bagel spice sprinkled on top. It comes with two dipping sauces; queso and honey dijon. I'm generally not a pretzel fan, so this didn't hit right for me.
- Chicken Nachos | Another great shareable appetizer! It has chicken, black beans, queso, jalapeños, salsa, pico de gallo, spicy chili aioli, sour cream, and guacamole. Satisfyingly delicious.
- Thai Crispy Calamari | So, this was a weird one for me. I didn't really like the togarashi seasoning on top of the calamari; it didn't seem go to together. The sweet Thai chili sauce didn't make it better either. I had a few bites and I was done.
THE DRUNK DRINKS.
- The OG Mule | Simple ingredients (Wheatley, lime, Fever-Tree Ginger Beer), but I loved it nevertheless.
- Honey Bourbon Sour | Sweet, zesty, and slightly sour with a bourbon kick. Nice, comforting cocktail.
THE RETURN?
Yeah, I like the joint and food. Happy hour is where it's at.
