Bar Louie - The Shops at Park Lane

We stopped in for a drink while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. The martinis are delicious 🤤. Several varieties to choose from. I had two. Fantastic! My family had chips and dips with beer. Great service!

The food is above standard and the service was great! We ended up staying to watch a playoff game and our server was so cool with us “camping” continuing to drink of course. 😜 Manager checked on us - everything was smooth and really great.

On 03/18th around 5-6p.m. I came in to celebrate a few major wins. It was a great experience and I had a wonderful server. I can't remember her name, but a black petite lady with long pretty hair served me. She suggested the Chicken Monterey dish and I tell you it was FANTASTIC! I have never had artichoke and now I am a believer. I also had a wonderful drink suggested which of course I don't recall the name but it will never be forgotten. Then I had dessert. I wasn't thrilled with only two selections for dessert but for me who doesn't eat chocolate 🍫 cake it was even delicious 😋. I will certainly return soon.

Took my daughter to lunch while shopping. This "bar" had lunch specials sign out front between clothing stores and shoes. We decided to give it a try. Rocky start with a glass with someone else's lipstick on the rim, but our server was really nice about it. We went for appetizers with cheese curds and calamari. Excellent choices if I do say so myself. I opted for french onion soup as my main, and LA chose the chicken with avocado wrap and tots. Tots were temperature challenged, but the wrap was delish. Soup was hot and stringy cheesey, which I loved. Our server, Zach, navigated the dirty glass AND the cold tots with aplomb. He smiled throughout both compliments and complaints. We so appreciated his great attitude and energy. He earned the place its fourth star.

My granddaughter and I stopped in after church for a quick brunch before starting our holiday shopping. Our server Sha was excellent. Very friendly. Knowledgeable of the menu. Made great suggestions. My granddaughter had the salmon sliders excellent, and the barbecue burger.

My brother and I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon. The place was absolutely packed but the bartender, X, was incredible. Her attention to us and all the other customers made us forget how busy it was at times. She was great and we will definitely be back! Only negative complaint would be the lack of any help for her behind the bar especially when management is standing by watching the chaos. She was awesome and handled the crowd so well, it was obvious that this wasn’t new to her. Overall 10/10 and will definitely recommend.

Really nice restaurant with a friendly staff. Don't expect a drink in the first 15 minutes you are there lol. Or another drink if it hasn't been 20 minutes. It just seems like management should organize things a bit better. This place is a chain and I guess I shouldn't be expecting much. We didn't eat dinner because our appetizer (the trio, which is guacamole, salsa and caso). Wasn't very good and if you mess that up it's a bad sign. The caso was made of powder that wasn't melted and mixed properly, and the guacamole tasted like it came from a bag. Would be willing to try again but it just was miss after miss. Great location and good vibe with the music and staff.

The drinks and food are great- especially during happy hour. The staff are friendly and make great recommendations. I would highly recommend for quick bites/casual eating.

Have to give props to our bar tender Marcos. He was super attentive and very friendly not only to us but everyone at the bar. We never had to ask for a drink. The dude is one of the hardest working bartenders I've seen. Even though the bar was busy he was keeping up no problem. We'll definitely come back.

Great happy hour in that they offer discounted drinks and appetizers! Best lemon drop martini! Food is all "bar food" - Its just ok to me - Average service. Often, there's only one bartender on duty. The one thing to watch is your receipt will show full price drinks and appetizers with discounts that equal the happy hour prices (instead of just listing their happy hour prices). The recommended tip amounts are based on the full price drinks and food. I know this can be a controversial subject.....but I tip on what I actually paid, happy hour prices.

Love bar, Luis it's always the perfect place to go if you just need a drink or some appetizers. Came here last Friday while it was raining for a drink with my husband. They are chicken tenders are so delicious. I always order them wherever we are and they always taste good no matter the location. Service prompt our server was very nice. There wasn't many patrons.there so it was kinda quiet.

I always have a great experience when i see Marcos and Abel at bar louie!! These two are hands down the best bartenders in Dallas--always friendly, fast, and know how to make a great drink. They create such a fun and welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back. On top of that, the food is always great, making it the perfect spot to hang out. If you're looking for great service and a great time, this is the place to be!

Never place an order for pick up or delivery here, ever. After placing a to go order for pickup, amounting to that of $50.24, I was sent a confirmation link via text. Immediately after receiving text, received a follow up text stating my order had been cancelled. When I called the location to confirm, manager stated they had no record of me ever placing an order. Manager also stated when orders are placed over the phone, they are done through that of third party company. Therefore, when you place an order over the phone, you are NOT speaking directly to a member of Bar Louie personnel. Attempted to call third party company back in order for them to advise as to how I would be refunded for their mistake. Third party company also could not support as they did not have my order on record EITHER. So after providing my card information AND being charged, neither party had record of the transaction. All in all, this resulted in having to call my bank and dispute the charges while being left DINNER-less. Never again.

So I went to bar Louie twice this week. The first time I went was on Tuesday and we had jasmine. She was very rude when we first got to our table, she was giving us attitude and would wait long period of time before coming back to our table to order appetizers or food, it took over 30 minutes of our drinks to get here with one other table in the restaurant. Not only this, but she gave attitude after why single request whether it was a drink or food order. After this horrible experience,I thought maybe jasmine was having a bad day so I tipped her $30 on a $60 tab. I am in the serving industry and know how it is to have a bad day. However, I decided to go back today and had a completely different experience with a new server named Madison!! We had jasmine, she gave us attitude for being there for five minutes, even though I had a reservation confirmed for 1:00pm. This was until we asked for another server.. we got Madison after that and She was very sweet and consistently checked in our table!! She never gave us any attitude and gave us significantly better service and us coming in at 1 pm on a Tuesday. The first time but cute to us coming in at 1 pm brunch menus with Madison... signicifcantly better service at a busier time as well...thank you Madison for the amazing service you changed my mindset about the service at this bar!! Thank you lovely!! She consistently checked in and asked what we needed!! She was also very sweet!! I recommend you ask for Madison if she is working :)) I tipped her $100 today on my 60 tab but I'm going to come back and give her more!!

Good food, drinks and music. Bartender Abel was such a good vibe and so attentive. Great service overall!

I attempted to go into a different Bar Louie today to celebrate Veterans Day with my son and my daughter's birthday. I thought I could handle going back since the incident occurred over two years ago. To my surprise, I still cannot go into any of the restaurants by this establishment. My nerves went straight through the roof. I couldn't even keep my head up. My son and my daughter notice that I wasn't feeling this restaurant. They got their meals boxed up and we left. Once on the outside I could breathe. The service rendered to them today was EXCEPTIONAL. It's just my anxiety from the previous Bar Louie at The Ships at Park Lane.

Great food and drinks. Abel was so attentive and nice. Wings & fries& quesadillas 10/10. Chocolate cake 10/10!

Stopped by for a quick lunch and had one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The lunch rush wasn't bad and we got in and out pretty quickly.

The Bar Louie at the Shops at Park Lane offers a solid menu of casual American fare and drinks in a laid-back, lively atmosphere. While the food is decent, it's not particularly exceptional, but the large selection of cocktails and happy hour specials make it a fun spot for hanging out with friends. The service is friendly, though sometimes a bit slow, making it a good choice for a casual outing rather than a quick meal.

Tried this location on Monday for Happy Hour, never again. This location is just as bad if not worse than Allen. The bartender had to be asked twice to bring us water, this should be expected when people are drinking. He got part of our order wrong. He was very inattentive....until someone he knew came in and then he was upbeat and friendly, to them. This should be such a popping location, and I get that it was Monday but even the workers seemed like they didn't want to be there. The music was stale, all the tvs were on the same channel, it was awful. It doesn't even seem like they use the same ingredients...the queso was clumpy and cold. Going forward I'll stick to Bar Louie Las Colinas because we have never had a bad experience there. And the only tip Abel deserved is pay attention and listen...there weren't enough people in there for you to be too busy to forget what we asked for.

After having a fantastic happy hour experience, I recommended Bar Louie to my friends when we were deciding where to eat in the area. However, within 15 minutes of arriving, I began to regret my decision. This dining experience was a stark contrast to my previous visit. The service was incredibly slow, and to make matters worse, the cups were not clean, and my water had something floating in it. Our waitress took our order without writing anything down, and predictably, our food arrived with mistakes, including a missing item. I specifically ordered a burger cooked medium well without the Louie sauce, requesting a side of BBQ sauce and bacon jam. Unfortunately, my burger arrived without lettuce and no bacon jam. Upon touching the bun, I realized it was cold. I brought this to the attention of the waitress, who took it back to fix it. However, when the burger returned, it had lettuce, but the patty was undercooked. Frustrated, I decided to reluctantly eat it as is, not wanting to send it back again. I left Bar Louie feeling extremely disappointed with my experience. It's disheartening because I was starting to develop a liking for this place. However, this particular visit left a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally.

I've been to Bar Louie several times. This go round, I tried the Buffalo Chicken flatbread. Honestly, it was just okay. The buffalo sauce was a bit overpowering for me, so it took away from the rest of the pizza. I likely wouldn't get it again. For my cocktail, I had the Chicago Ave. I didn't have many expectations for the drink, but it was really good. FYI, a great time to go to Bar Louie is during happy hour because bar bites and flatbreads are half off, as well as some drinks at the bar. Be prepared for the crowd though! Also, this location is a "seat yourself" one, so you may have to wait a little bit for someone to come over to serve you. But, the service is great.

Avoid if you can Service is lacking, food wasn't good and everything was cold and we had to send it back. Just overall underwhelming, so I'd save your money and go elsewhere.

Bar Louie is always a pleasure; great service and good food! The ambiance is very chill. They currently have a '1/2 off on all craft burgers on Tuesdays' special going on right now so definitely get into it! I ordered the Beef Sliders with a side of Tots. The bacon onion jam really shined on those sliders; it was the perfect combo of sweet and savory. The tots had a perfect crisp to it... so good. I was already half way into my meal before I realized that I forgot to snap a picture... next time for sure! Oh! They also have reverse HH, so there's that.

I haven't been to Bar Louie in literal years. It was a nice surprise to find out that they have a great happy hour! I also got a chicken Caesar salad. The salad was so flavorful because the chicken was seasoned so well. They also make a good dirty martini. I'll definitely be back for their brunch.

let's start off with service. jasmine, the young lady with auburn hair, was a very horrible server. she was needlessly rude!! we came on a Tuesday (Feb 25,2025) and it took her 10 minutes to even come and ask for our order. She didn't even greet us and tell us her name.. as she was taking orders, she literally caught an attitude with two of my colleagues and the whole tables energy changed almost IMMEDIATELY! She was rude the ENTIRE service but we still tipped her. One of my colleagues even tipped her $30 because she thought maybe she was having a bad day. So she wanted to make her feel better. We came back today (march 1, 2025) and we had her again.. she had an attitude AGAIN. we were very confused and asked another waiter if she knew one of us personally, because she would smile and be kind to everyone, except us!! So I requested for a new server, who was very much more nice and caring!!! Jasmine had unwarranted hostility for paying customers and we would like for her to get actual training or get out of customer service. Thank you!!

Stuck here after an hour - being ignored by the bartender. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and the first one was raw inside. I apologetically sent it back and got a new one that was decent. Never got the water I ordered twice and have had my credit card sitting out for 15 min. Abysmal.

My boyfriend and I came for the first time despite the negative service reviews. We literally sat down and were approached by a server who was training someone. He asked what we wanted to drink and we asked about the happy hour specials that we saw online. He said "well you have 45 minutes left, we don't carry any menus you would have to look online." We were confused so we clarified we needed to go online for the prices and he said "yea if you want". And then we left. You can come here but just hope you don't get him as your server lol! Literally not sure why he was so rude from the jump but we had a good laugh after we left. The hostess were nice!

Sunday Funday, we decided to stop here for a quick bite! We sat at the bar area and the service was great! The bartender, Marie was great and made the best lemon drop martini. I only gave 4 stars because the wings were not my favorite. I tried the jalapeño honey wings and they were really sweet. I will be sure to try a different flavor the next time! Happy dining!

Every time I come here, I always feel ignored. It takes forever for the waiter/bartender to attend to me. Food and drinks are good but just be aware, the service is undoubtedly poor!

Food and drinks were good, we got both fairly quickly for what looked like an understaffed day. The restaurant itself was nice, wasn't too loud and I liked the music. Waitress was okay until she followed us out of the restaurant to tell us that if we didn't bother to leave a tip, then we shouldn't "bother coming back". I had left her a $20 on a $60 dollar ticket. After showing her said $20 on the table (in plain view), she just huffed and grabbed the bill. Trust me, I'm taking her advice. I won't be returning.

Didn't get a chance to eat here cause the service we received was abysmal. We walked in for a late lunch, place only had about 5 tables full. The bartender was the designated waiter for the shift I guess. We sat down at the bar to make it easier for him. He proceeded to help everyone else but us. He told us he would be back to take our order for food and drinks, and never came back. People sat down after us, placed food and drink orders. Never told us sorry. Never acknowledged our presence after giving us water. We didn't want to get up and leave - but what choice did we have. We waited about 25 mins and he never came back - while helping others around us and passing us. Maybe he didn't like us for some reason. No clue. Odd experience. Place seemed nice too. But oh well.

Overall, the service was good! But the manager was very rude on closing the outside doors while we were watching the Texas game just because my dog bark randomly. This is not pet friendly place. I would not recommend this place.

Can't say it was terribly impressive which is semi disappointing for a bar with such potential. In sum: pretty disinterested and inattentive service for a place with a lot kore potential than might show. The food: the dishes were hot or miss. Personally, I found the flat bread pizza options to be very good - pepperoni especially. However, the fish tacos left me wanting. All in all, you can get some good dishes here but I hope they continue to improve. Drinks: again, hit or miss, but for the price you pay (my tab for two (2) people) was over $100) you'd hope for nothing but good drinks. Service: Honestly, this is where they fell very short. The entire staff clearly didn't want to work very hard and their lack of attention was telling. Each time a person in our group of 8+ people wanted a drink or menu item we had to flag someone down by either waving or verbally yelling.. and yes this was after waiting an unreasonable amount of times when they could easily recognize through normal queues that we needed service. If they improved here then this place would've been at least three stars.

Cocktails are on point, but unfortunately it isn't the cleanest restaurant I have ever been to. The bar stools are filthy. It was so gross I wasn't able to order food.

Service was disorganized and untimely even though the restaurant was empty. Food was mediocre at best. It was just amateur hour all over the map.

Went to get something to eat. The host told us it was open seating inside and on the balcony and a waitress would be with us shortly. We chose to sit outside off to the right. We waited 10 minutes before deciding to move inside to be serviced; when we tried to go inside we realized we were locked out on the balcony and had to jump over the railing. The whole time no one notice or came out. Horrible service. And the whole place was 90% empty.

Austin (server) is AMAZING. Definitely ask for him ! Mila (bartender) is super nice! The drinks were excellent !!!! And Travis ....(chef) ... ohhhhh the food was perfect !!!!!! We will DEFIANTLY be back !!!!

Good place to have drinks and hang out. The bar service was quite slow and it wasn't really busy. I just ordered drinks and fries. Fries are always good so can't complain!

Sat at the bar and drinks and food were amazing. Julian made some solid recommendations and I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. Best I've had in a long time.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! ... no like i mean... ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYINGLY TERRIBLE!!! I mean, you almost have to laugh about it. Ahahah. My friend and i showed up, sat down, and waited for 25 minutes until our "waitress" came around. She saw us sitting down, i waved her down to get her attention. She asked me if anyone had helped us and i told her no, so she said she'd be right back to help us. ... yall I'm not kidding when I tell you this. She went outside onto the patio, sat down on the couch and pulled out her phone. She sat on her phone. We decided to leave after waiting almost half an hour. If it takes that long to get a MENU imagine how long it would've taken to get our food/drinks - scary.

I haven't been to Bar Louie in years, but I decided to give it a try after a day of shopping. The restaurant is located on the second floor of The shops at park lane shopping center. There is an ample amount of parking so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. Once we entered the the restaurant it was open seating, so we chose a high top next to the bar. Within minutes our server came over. She was courteous and knowledgeable. She gave us recommendations on the best drinks and food, she also told us about the the weekday happy hour. The food was good!! The service superior !! I will definitely be back.

Food was not great, service completely stunk and it wasn't that busy. I used to love this place but it seemed we were inconveniencing the staff. Restrooms were filthy.

Plenty of parking in this large shopping center. Located between Whole Foods and DSW, I love the convenient location off Greenville Ave near Park Ln. The Bar Bites were yummy, though the portions were quite small. And let's just say that soup, in order to keep it warm, should have a smaller opening at the top. You definitely don't need so much surface area cooling it off. The service is slow, but friendly. Heaters warm the outside patio nicely. But for God's sake, turn down the music! It is one of those places where loud music is meant to replace actual conversation. No. Just no.

Came here for brunch they were out of deep dish French toast so we didn't stay. However the strawberry lemonade drink was delicious!

I would rate this higher if the food wasn't a factor. The atmosphere was cool for happy hour. The drinks were terribly weak and the food seemed pre-frozen. The sports bar vibe was fun and the servers were friendly, however we spent more on drinks than typical because we had to down them like fruit punch lol The location is convenient so we took advantage of walking next door to shop and browse at Whole Foods and homegoods. That's all I can say really. Mediocre compared to other bars unfortunately.

Service.... Basically non existent ... had to ask for appetizer plates.... And cutlery!! Who does that?? Poor Poor Poor... do better. Food was ok.. but really let down on the wait and it was less than 1/4 full... had to go seek someone down to pay the bill...1/5

We originally went to Grimaldi's and were seated promptly but then were told a pizza would take an hour so we left and walked over to Bar Louie. We've seen it many times but never went before. It's a bar with food but our experience was positive even with a kid. We sat ourselves and a server appeared not long after. The beer menu is decent, about a dozen beers on tap and another dozen in bottles, so finding something cold was not hard. I had the Gastroburger and it was very tasty. I disagree 100% with the review that said the food is equivalent to McDonalds. In fact, that person could not be more wrong. The burger is about a third of a pound with shaved sirloin, caramelized onions, queso, and white cheddar, plus garlic aioli. I liked it a lot. When was the last time you had that at McDonalds? The tater tots were light and fluffy, very crispy, and salted perfectly. Really good. The wife had the BBQ pork flatbread and really liked it a lot. Very tasty and light, flatbread was crisp. The only thing is that it apparently had been sitting a while because it was just warm, not piping hot. The ambience was laid back. There is music but not so loud that you can't talk. I can see coming here for a drink without the kid. We enjoyed our experience and would not hesitate to return.

Don't waste your money. Just ordered their Pickle fries online and got home only to get that they are BURNT! Literally burnt, charred, looks dark brown,had black particles in the breadcrumbs as in the picture and smelled like a smoking house! Also got their Craft burger and the breaded chicken was ALSO BURNT! Tasted exactly like the Pickle fries. What kind of restaurant finds it okay to serve this kind of food? It's damn near food poisoning. Really disappointed as it was one of my favorite places to patronize.

My friend and I arrived here last night around 8:45pm hoping to get some espresso martini's for national espresso martini day and a couple appetizers. My friend went to the bathroom among arrival and I joined her to wash my hands, then we went to our seats at the bar. According to her the bartender was very nice at first and set down a water and a menu before she got up to use the restroom. Once we got back though it was like we didn't even exist. He and the other bartender working were glaring at us for 30 minutes, didn't ask for our drink order/ ID's/ anything. Both bartenders also passed us multiple times and we tried to get their attention and were again ignored. The bar was also no where near full as well as the restaurant was maybe halfway set. Nothing seemed chaotic and nothing insinuated to us that it was "too busy" to get a drink. As I said earlier they were just looking at us at one point, they had time(?) I am really upset because we both love coming here and truthfully do enjoy the food and atmosphere, but I don't think we will be going back after this poor experience. I don't know what we did to piss anyone off, like I said we had almost zero interaction with any of the staff the whole time as in forced by them. We did end up walking out and then had to reroute the night and go to another bar.

This was my first time visiting Bar Louie in Texas. Came in on a late Sunday evening after shopping and immediately found seating. Our waitress was very attentive and had some great recommendations on the new drinks. For those who love something sweet I would suggest the DIVA. I'll defer be returning to have another drink. We tried the shrimp tacos and the salmon sliders. The fish was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was very laid back and the music was as the perfect level for setting the mood and great conversation. We also had the broccoli and Mac and cheese and I highly recommended those options. The menu had a lot of fun options and was at an excellent price point.

What a disappointment. On a Sunday at around 12:30, the 3 of us came in to an empty restaurant. The bartender greeted us and our server said she'd be right back. She delivered waters and left us alone for more than 15 minutes. When we got up to leave, she apologized and said she was the only server working.

Out of the 3 years I've lived in Texas, yesterday was the first day I actually decided to give Bar Louie a try. Food: Flash Fried Calamari -- the calamari itself was delicious especially when dipped in the aioli sauce but the plethora of peppers mixed in was a bit unneeded. Drinks: The Clover 8/10, Effen Good 10/10 -- out of the 2 drinks the Effen Good was just simply it's name. It was refreshing & had a nice kick to it. Something I would definitely order anytime I came in for happy hour. Service: what service? I walked in the front door & had to make sure I was in the right place because I barely saw anyone. No host or server to greet you so I just stood there for maybe 10 minutes wondering if I was just suppose to seat myself. Eventually, I sat at the bar because I figured if I just randomly sat at a table no one would ever come. Upon arriving there was only 1 bartender. There weren't too many people seating at the bar but he wasn't as attentive as he could've been. Another bartender arrived later & she was a bit more active but it seemed as those she had some regulars so she was a bit more conversational than the guy we had. I like bartenders who ENGAGE! Don't just ask every 20 mins if I'm good or want another one. Would I return? Yes but not to this location.
