⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I celebrated my engagement party here this past Saturday with about 70 guests, and it couldn’t have gone better! Joey and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with — incredibly kind, attentive, and willing to go above and beyond (they even helped us cut our cake!). The venue itself was perfect for our group — great vibe, awesome drinks, and a smooth experience from start to finish. Our guests loved it, and we’ve already been recommending the space to friends looking for their next event. Highly recommend!

The rock ‘n roll vibe & music posters with the candle lit wooden bar, lounge sofas and kick ass music remind me of a time not too long ago in NYC. I love Bar Louis and the amaro selections as well as mezcal cocktails. The bartenders hold it down when it’s packed and are a great convo when it’s an early happy hour visit. Keep on doing your thing Bar Louis. Thanks for the great times!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR SAFETY! My two friends and I were roofied at this bar last January by a BARTENDER. We were the only patrons inside the bar around ~10 PM when he offered us “specialty” espresso martini shots on the house (our very first drinks of the night). After that, we remember absolutely nothing and experienced all signs of Rohypnol intake. We attempted to contact management multiple times but never received a response. Warning to women especially: Avoid going here or Please exercise extreme caution if you go to this bar.

I love Bar Louis! The ambiance is very laid back and upscale, really great neighborhood lounge for cocktails and good vibes. All the staff is super nice and it just feels good hanging out, super welcoming environment. Also, the playlist rules!!!

I wish I could say more, but my experience here was really disappointing. My girlfriend and her friends went in before me while I was talking to some locals outside. When I tried to join them, the bouncers made a big deal because I wasn’t with any girls and refused to let me in. They were extremely rude and caused an unnecessary scene, which made the whole situation uncomfortable. My girlfriend and her friends ended up leaving because of it. We went to Botanica at 47 E Houston St afterward, and I honestly liked it so much more — it’s smaller, but the people there are super kind. Definitely go somewhere that doesn’t care whether you have a girl with you or not.

The vibes were great, cocktails were flowing and definitely on the strong side. The oysters are definitely one of the best ones I’ve tasted in NYC. Big shoutouts to our server Erin for going above and beyond in accommodating my friends dietary restrictions and her overall service.

Hands down. Best bar. Ask for Erin because she will guarantee you have a great time. This is such a cool and polished establishment

Loved Bar Louis! Great drinks, staff, and atmosphere. The music was fun and definitely dance-worthy. Unfortunately was pretty shocked and disappointed when the bill came and the cocktails were $21/piece vs the advertised $16/piece on their website. Also just be aware that it was a mandatory 20% tip as well. Was eager to return but now the drink prices and lack of transparency will be a deterrent.

Great ambiance and super friendly staff but the drinks were well below standard for the price. Also they include gratuity on the bill so make sure you're not paying extra! If the bartenders made better drinks this would definitely be a hot spot!
