The worst customer service I've had in a while. Jennifer M. from the beginning was rude and not hospitable at all, it felt as if we were taking her away from what she thought was more important than to sell a couple of Frose's to go.
As soon as my colleague and I, who by the way work for a Tasting Room in Downtown Napa, walked up we had mentioned that we heard great things about their Frose, she lacked conversation and said not one word.
Instead kept buffing the wine glasses, which working in the industry I understand you need to get those glasses buffed for your next initial lunch rush especially when you're by yourself.
But you also need to stop what you are doing to help a guest out when they are in front of you knowing exactly what they want to purchase.
She said "I'll help you over there" and pointed at the register.
I'm 28 years old, and it even states that on my ID that I was born in 1992, she instead focused on my expired date that expired this month.
This is the first time I've ever had anyone turn me away from purchasing alcohol.
So my colleague instead shows her ID, that also states her birth year being 1991, she's also about to turn 30.
Jennifer told my colleague "Take off your mask" so my friend asked "what?" and with the most stern voice (as if we were getting in trouble by a damn officer) "Take off your mask" she said again.
Jennifer than proceeded to say "I can't serve you any alcohol", I let her know we work in the Industry and she said she's not going to serve us anything because she doesn't want to get questioned.
We're trying to support all small local businesses especially since we are all about to shut down inside seating once again.
Jennifer had the worst attitude, and we will definitely not send any of our guests over to Bar Lucia.
Hey Jennifer, if you hate your job so much, you should try looking somewhere else....oh wait we're about to be hit with another closure...word of advice, be grateful for having a job.
