Bar Mastracchio - caldo freddo

This place was very charming. I tried the ice cream coffee even though I usually don’t like sweet coffee but I was recommended to by our tour guide. This coffee was one of the most amazing drinks I’ve even tried. The ice cream mixing with the strong espresso really created a magical synthesis. I would definitely come back here! It tasted so amazing and u live the standing drinking experience, it was very unique. The cafe building is beautiful as well. Service was friendly too.

The best affogato I’ve ever had in my life. And my boyfriend felt the same. The perfect amount of each ingredient – truly speechless. You can’t miss it.

Delicious cafe caldo, nothing could be more tasty than an espresso with a little gelato and chocolate drizzle. I would ask for it without sugar next time though.

Outstanding Hot+Cold coffee The coffee here is fantastic, quite unique that I have not tasted in Italy before. It was like affogato, only the taste was much better. The owners run this place with a passion and make excellent coffee. Quite evident by the large crowds in the shop.

Bar Mastracchio felt like a second home to me when I was in Napoli. It's here where I felt actually seen as the owner is incredibly kind. After just a few morning visits, he remembered both me and my daily order. I would highly recommend this bar, not only for the kind and genuine hospitality, but also for the breakfast options. From the first time coming here, I noticed immediately that the coffee is served hot and the cornetti and other pastries are sold fresh. The cornetto crèma is filled to the brim with cream, which is something that is so hard to find elsewhere.

Wow! You are welcomed with lovely energy from the two people that work here and charm from this unique cafe. The cafe caldo freddo is incredible 10/10 🤩 I have been several times now and they maintained the quality and charm every visit! Can’t wait to go back ☺️ thanks

The only cafe in Napoli that serves an affogato, which is espresso and gelato/ice cream in a cup. They put the espresso at the bottom, creating a wonderful contrast between hot and cold when you sip. Super flavorful as well! Beyond this specialty item, the cafe is pretty and stocked full of classic Neapolitan cafe fare. Well worth a visit when wandering the streets of Napoli.
