Bar Miette

We celebrated our wedding reception at Bar Miette and everything was impeccable! The food was incredible, the service was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was comfortable with lovely views of the river. There were plenty of outdoor heaters and everyone was happy. Thank you so much to the talented staff!

A Hidden Gem by the River We’ve dined at Bar Miette twice now—once for dinner and once for breakfast—and it has quickly become our go-to spot. The cozy terrace, friendly staff, and beautiful river views make it an absolute delight. For dinner, the muscle salad was a standout—I finally found a place that does a great salad! The wagyu skewers were also fantastic, freshly barbecued in front of us, adding to the experience. Their cocktail selection is diverse, and the frequently changing menu keeps things exciting. Breakfast was just as enjoyable. Their avocado on toast is my favorite in Brisbane. I usually don’t enjoy egg or its smell, but the way they prepare it makes it absolutely lovely. A great spot for both casual brunches and intimate dinners—highly recommend!

Visited for the second time on a Friday for lunch and in the past the service has been fine. The waiter who served us was great, very personable and apologised for the wait and said it was because the sandwiches are made fresh. I just can’t understand how a tomato, nectarine, mozzarella salad and a cold cuts sandwich (nothing to be cooked) could take nearly 45mins. It was so quiet too! There were 2 other couples and we were the only ones who ordered food… I can only assume maybe the order was misplaced. Unfortunately as most lunch breaks are only an hour long I had to ask for my food to be packed for takeaway. My husband smashed his sandwich quickly but was perplexed as to where the rest of the sandwich was. It had been very cleanly cut so we were super curious to know what they do with the cut off ends and why they wouldn’t serve the whole sandwich @$21 it was quite small.

$136 / person / Dinner visit / ordered four plates and one drink each. If I could I would like to give 10 stars! The view, service and food, everything was spectacular especially Julia made us that day very special! At the beginning we sat down downstairs and thought that's Bar Miette but it wasn't! Bar Miette is located on the second floor. There was a nice staff showing us how to go up stairs which was nice. The food was a relatively small portion as in it's a bar but delicious! We need to come back for focaccia for sure.

Been here a couple of times now. Simple breakfast and lunch menus but super delicious. Great coffee and amazing view too. Will definitely be back again to check out their baked goods (changes every week). Another reason to look forward to the weekend 😊😊

Read the review on how a patron had to wait a while for their meal but still decided to give this place a go as we are big fans of Hectors in Melb. Went around 1.30pm when there was only one other table seated. Most of the sandwiches were sold out by then, so there were only toasties left. Waited about 30+mins for an anchovy toast and 2 toasties on a weekday. We finished our coffee by the time the food arrived. Coffee was a bit weak. Kimchi and Tuna toasties both lacked flavour, i went up the counter to ask for salt and then had to wait for them to bring it to me. Think the staff were far too relaxed with their service. We also only ordered one anchovy toast but they served and charged us for two even though we made the comment we were just going to share one. It was a delicious anchovy toast, but was still not worth the wait. Not sure if i'd come back :( Was really hoping for a good experience. The riverside view and breeze was the only highlight unfortunately

Bar Miette is a great spot for drinks, lunch or even breakfast. I’ve tried the dishes for all and there is a great range of simple favourites. Love the atmosphere here although the menu is a bit overpriced.

We came here for my partners birthday and were so impressed! the food, drinks and service were impeccable - not to mention the amazing views. Julia provided some of the best hospitality we have received in brisbane - we will be back 100%
