Bar Miette

We went for oyster happy hour. It was an awesome experience. Fresh rock oyster is incredibly delicious. We also tried wine, cocktails, and a raw beef dish served with anchovy and cheese. We were satisfied with every order. It's definitely worth your pennies. We sat by the riverside with the heater on. Well looked after by the friendly staff. We'll definitely return. Highly recommended. Thanks, team!

Gorgeous place. Great views, lovely vibes, great staff and quick service. Food was very lacklustre, especially for the prices. Drinks I had were really nice. Someone in my party had a nut allergy and the supervisor on shift was very accommodating and called the head chef to make sure everything was okay and removed the item from the bill. Will definitely go back but hopefully go when there are more food options available rather than just snacks and slices of meat. I’ll be going back for the god tier focaccia alone.

nice little cocktail bar on the river. Great views of the story bridge and river. We did not have the cocktails but pale ale was yummy. As for food; grilled octopus with paprika and potatoes as BOMB.COM, mortadella burger was yummy but quite difficult to eat as it is large. Overall lovely spot, good vibes

A Hidden Gem by the River We’ve dined at Bar Miette twice now—once for dinner and once for breakfast—and it has quickly become our go-to spot. The cozy terrace, friendly staff, and beautiful river views make it an absolute delight. For dinner, the muscle salad was a standout—I finally found a place that does a great salad! The wagyu skewers were also fantastic, freshly barbecued in front of us, adding to the experience. Their cocktail selection is diverse, and the frequently changing menu keeps things exciting. Breakfast was just as enjoyable. Their avocado on toast is my favorite in Brisbane. I usually don’t enjoy egg or its smell, but the way they prepare it makes it absolutely lovely. A great spot for both casual brunches and intimate dinners—highly recommend!

An excellent addition to the Riverside area's bars and bistros, with a great view over the river. Very well priced, and the menu offers something for everyone. Staff are professional, welcoming, and the area itself is clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. Great for a stop during the day, after work, with friends or guests or on your own.

We celebrated our wedding reception at Bar Miette and everything was impeccable! The food was incredible, the service was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was comfortable with lovely views of the river. There were plenty of outdoor heaters and everyone was happy. Thank you so much to the talented staff!

Visited for the second time on a Friday for lunch and in the past the service has been fine. The waiter who served us was great, very personable and apologised for the wait and said it was because the sandwiches are made fresh. I just can’t understand how a tomato, nectarine, mozzarella salad and a cold cuts sandwich (nothing to be cooked) could take nearly 45mins. It was so quiet too! There were 2 other couples and we were the only ones who ordered food… I can only assume maybe the order was misplaced. Unfortunately as most lunch breaks are only an hour long I had to ask for my food to be packed for takeaway. My husband smashed his sandwich quickly but was perplexed as to where the rest of the sandwich was. It had been very cleanly cut so we were super curious to know what they do with the cut off ends and why they wouldn’t serve the whole sandwich @$21 it was quite small.

$136 / person / Dinner visit / ordered four plates and one drink each. If I could I would like to give 10 stars! The view, service and food, everything was spectacular especially Julia made us that day very special! At the beginning we sat down downstairs and thought that's Bar Miette but it wasn't! Bar Miette is located on the second floor. There was a nice staff showing us how to go up stairs which was nice. The food was a relatively small portion as in it's a bar but delicious! We need to come back for focaccia for sure.
