12 Best Margaritas in Miami | Eater

"This nautical-themed bar on the famous Calle Ocho is named — and decorated — after the Nancy, an American sailing ship that carried ammunition and spirits during the Revolutionary War. Don’t get too distracted by their down-to-earth food. First, head straight for the bar and ask for a My Fair Lady margarita, a tangy, orange twist on the classic drink that calls for Grand Marnier, Espolòn Blanco, lime, agave, Regan’s Orange Bitters, and a black salt rim." - Vox Creative

Charming, elegant dive bar often with cool live and DJ entertainment! Service is ok, and drinks were meh, but I love the atmosphere. Was here to check out a great live local band, Carlos & The Experience. Come for the entertainment and atmosphere. The rest is just ok. There is no food in the evening , so I couldn't rate that. Parking in the area can be a pita.

Such a cool place. We went on a Tuesday and that is open mic night. So fun and unexpected. It was my first time there. The bartender (I forgot to get his name 🙄) was so cool. I asked for a gimlet (yup I sure did😂) he has not made one in a while and not wanting to be that person I asked for a gin and tonic and on my next round he was so sweet and made me a gimlet! I was a happy girl. Very cool place.!

I recently attended a 50th birthday party at Bar Nancy on 8th Street, and while the event itself was fantastic, the experience with the owner, Ben, was disappointing. My friend rented the place for a private event, and everything from the live band to the ambiance was incredible. It was truly a great venue for a celebration. However, when it came to customer service, Ben was not up to par. He treated me like trash but he’s the trash! So sad to say but it is so true! I was mortified by his actions to say the least. I did not feel welcome after he did what he did to me. I asked for cognac, and initially, I was told there was none available. After asking for a mixed drink with Hennessy VS, suddenly, cognac was miraculously available. I ordered a double shot neat and it was nice and smooth as usual. I saw him pour the shot and it was just a little bit left so I basically finished the bottle. I ordered another double and this time he said he had to get another bottle in the back… The second drink wasn’t what I asked for. It was not Hennessy at all. I know my drink and whatever he put in that cup was not it. When I brought it to Ben’s attention, he was short with me and didn’t say a word. I had to ask another bartender to fix another drink, and when Ben came over, he snatched it from me without any acknowledgment or apology. He did remove it from the tab, but his rude behavior was very off-putting and quite rude. A friend of mine order another shot for me hoping it was a mistake. I tasted it again and it was not the correct drink. To be sure that I wasn’t crazy I asked my friends to smell and taste the drink and they concurred it was not what I asked for. One of my friends stated it was sweeter and tasted more like whiskey. He also confronted the owner about it and Ben responded he has no control over what is done in the back. He was refunded for the drink as well. I’m sorry but as the owner of the establishment you need to make it your business to know what is going on or at least try and find out!!! If he didn’t do it someone there did it. I most certainly didn’t do it! I was there to have a good time and was robbed! While the celebration itself was amazing, customer service should be a priority in any business. It’s unfortunate that the owner’s attitude soured what could have been a perfect night. Hopefully, he takes this feedback to heart for future events.

Bar Nancy was awesome! Went here for an open mic, and everyone was fantastic, and the drinks were too good for my own safety 😂! But honestly, highly recommend this place!

Love my local bar. They've got a great happy hour with 1/2 price pretty much everything. They've also got great cocktails if that's your thing. They also keep the local music scene alive with great shows and events. From the old kitchen club days to emo and goth nights you name it. Trust me just go.

Google
Fantastic bar on 8th street. Possibly one of the best we have been in Miami. Great service, full bar, inventive and delicious cocktails, happy hour every day from 4-7 and there is always something going on. One night we caught a great show by a Pink Floyd and Alice in Chains tribute bands. Bo tu were awesome and the place was packed. So much fun. This is a must. Will be back over snd over again.

Google
They got me on drinks. I thought small mom and pop bar. $100 for two shots and three beers. Like club space prices. I paid $10 also for the music act. Beware of Disney drink prices.

Yelp
The Kitchen Club was an iconic goth club in the South Beach Hotel in 1988. They played new wave, post punk, alternative, and industrial music by bands like Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Sisters of Mercy. I used to go to the club in my college years. After the hotel was sold, the club moved to the Rocky Horror venue in Coconut Grove. In 1999 after that closed too, the club became a roaming pop up at different South Florida venues. Which is how I came to be at Bar Nancy in Little Havana on a Saturday night. They host a monthly Kitchen Club night. Almost everything was closed in Little Havana by the time I arrived so it was surprisingly easy to find metered street parking only two blocks away. Bar Nancy did not have a cover charge which was nice. The bar is decorated like a pirate ship with many nautical touches. It is named for the brigantine Nancy, which transported war supplies during the American Revolution. The room the bar is located in was small, dark, hot, and crowded. Many people enjoyed themselves on the dance floor in front of the DJ. They also have a backyard area that was popular. My favorite room was the one between the two. It was decorated like the Captains quarters with a couch and comfortable chairs. I could still enjoy the music and more importantly, the air conditioning. During the night I had a delicious Amaretto Sour. Despite the dive bar surroundings, it was a hefty $15. While that is expensive for a cocktail, it was a small price to pay to relive my youth for one evening.

Yelp
Great local bar in the heart of Little Havana on Calle Ocho. Cool ambience and craft cocktails.

Yelp
Service is great! Everyone from the bouncer to the bartender is courteous. Came here on a Saturday night and they had a great cover band. They also have an outdoor patio area which is super cute.

Yelp
What a great time we had!!! My wife and i had the pleasure of meeting Ben and spending some time talking to him prior to the place getting busy. Several things stand out to me about our experience at Bar Nancy. 1. Warm friendly atmosphere with cool nautical themed décor. 2. Amazing healthy pizza 3. Great, reasonably priced drinks 4. As busy as they were, i never waited more than 2 or 3 minutes for a drink 5. Music, The Kitchen Club DJ was fantastic 6.An eclectic mix of beautiful people from all walks of life Looking forward to many more adventures at Bar Nancy

Yelp
Casual spot on Calle Ocho that doesn't offer much to the eye. Nautical theme and live music bring the crowd in but not much entices to stay. Didn't have any food but drinks were what you'd expect for Miami.., but this was not a hit Miami spot. Moscow mule and amaretto sour both reaching at 14/15$. Inside is dark and not relatively large of an area but plenty of seating. Bouncer and bartender were super friendly so that was a plus. Depends on what you'd like for a bar, but this did not do it for me. I was in/out in 20 minutes. So I say if you'd like to be considered a regular, then this is your spot to go.

Yelp
This is a local bar with live music. It had a nautical ship theme with decent drinks. It's not the type of bar you would imagine in Calle ocho but I like that about it. Mostly rock music and a different type of crowd. The service is decent but nothing to rave about.

Yelp
I had this place saved for a long time and this Friday we finally went! My friends and I had an amazing time. We listen to the music that they had with some DJs playing songs from the 80s and believe it or not and I absolutely loved it. The drinks were fabulous that old-fashioned I had it was so good! The service was on point. Our waiter was amazing. She helped us with everything we needed with an amazing attitude. As you can read, I had a great time!

Yelp
Celebrated a friend's birthday on their Disco night. In my experience Disco nights involve a couple of Donna Summer songs and a Bee Gees song then the music switches to current music and latin beats. Not here! They are true to the Disco music and played only true, original Disco songs. We arrived a little before 8pm and there were less than a dozen people there. Within an hour that has tripled and in two hours the dance floor was so packed it spilled out to every corner. The service was wonderful despite the crowd. Evie and the other server were attentive and checked on us and bussed the table throughout the night. Disco night is the first Friday of the month. Would love to check out their other theme nights. The cocktail list was extensive and all nautical themed- the skipper's daughter, we're gonna need a bigger boat and other fun names. They can make anything and had La Rubia beer- a favorite of mine. It is definitely a place I will visit again and again.

Yelp
When you walk into Bar Nancy, especially if it is still daylight outside, you may want to take moment for your eyes and ears to adjust. Not only it is dark and you won't see anything initially, but the vibration of the music bouncing off the walls is enough to knock you off your feet. But after a few seconds, you take a look around and you know you are in the right spot. The decoration and the ambiance is fully nautical, from the small statues to paintings and murals and even the port hole on the back door, which I am told it was an actual port hole of a respectable sailing vessel. I not sure if the intended affect was that of a ship or a submarine from a Jules Verne novel. Either one works. There is a bar on the left hand side, and of course all the specialty cocktails have nautical references, from "Skipper's daughter" to "we're gonna need a bigger boat". The rest of the floor is covered with tables and chairs until you reach the stage at the end. There is usually a band or a DJ playing, and by the end of the night, no one is typically sitting down. Everyone is standing up and dancing by their tables. There is a room with comfortable sofas right behind the stage, and two unisex bathrooms in the back. The backdoor supposedly leads to a courtyard with a Tiki, but I didn't get to go there. I was having too much fun dancing to the music inside. Next time.

Yelp
Best bar and live music venue for locals! You'll meet the best folks while having some strong cocktails!

Yelp
Yesterday, I went to Bar Nancy for the first time. If you have never been there before, there are three things you should know when you walk in there: it is loud, it is dark, and it is small. Well, not super small. It is not a hole in a wall, but in comparison to some the other places I have been to, it is on the smaller side. On your left side is bar that will not have an empty seat. I promise you that. But the rest of the place has tables and if you get there early early enough, you should be able to find a place to sit down. On the other end, there is a stage, which last night had a DJ who played 70s and 80s songs while showing the videos of the songs (along with some throw back commercials) on the big screen behind them. The first couple of hours, they mostly played slow songs. But they picked up the pace and they got everyone up from their seats and dancing, to all sorts of music from that era, from disco to new wave, pop, hard rock, hip hop, and thing else that was ever popular during those days. Many songs that I had never heard before. It was awesome. By the way, there is no dance floor, you just have to find a few feet between you table and the one next to you and dance there. If you would like some private time, behind the stage, on the way to bathroom, there is a room with nice couch for those who need private time. Also, there are two bathrooms. Both private and unisex bathrooms. A relatively large rooms that you can lock the door behind you. I don't even want to know how many people who REALLY wanted to be private entered these rooms together. Overall, the service was good. I didn't try the food. All and all, my group had an amazing time. Thanks Bar Nancy.

Yelp
Overall very low key but hidden gem . Ben thé own is mad laidback and knows how to sling drinks that is for sure . Old school vibe all the times when it comes to the music but great place for a convo or to catch up with a friend.Did I mention happy hour every day of the week .Safe to say its home base sometime for a Quick libation.Oh and the food is good but it's also next door to sangwich so you do have the best of both worlds.Go give it a shot

Yelp
Ivy made me feel at home. The vibe in this place is spectacular! 5 Stars well deserved and as a person that loves good vibes and energy, this is the place. Try the "Walk the Plank" drink, outstanding drink. Exceptional service! Drinks came in quick. Again ask me personally when I'm here again! I'll vouch for this awesome bar. Jonathan S Herrera

Yelp
I must say for my first time coming in here and loving everything from the drinks to to the environment takes a lot ... I would recommend this to everyone I know.... And the owner was tending the bar!!! Love the hospitality

Yelp
Great entertainment, and the ambiance was also great. Now, as far as the bartender goes. It was a disaster. Wife and I ordered two drinks each. Both times the same drinks. the bartender forgot all four times who'd ordered the drinks. We would have to waive him down so he would remember that it was us, and all four drinks were different although we ordered the same thing. The owner behind the bar was also rude when we tried to get the attention of the bartender over very loud music. Last visit for us. Honestly don't think they care with the behavior of the owner.

Yelp
Amazing bar and the bartender's were so nice . They made the perfect martini and the vibes were out of this world .

Yelp
Large space with a cozy backyard. I have been here a few times and it's always fun. It feels like a local spot. Staff is really friendly and good. They always have nice bands playing or fun events. Only small issue is that there's no parking only street parking. Good is that you don't need to bother to pay for it as nobody comes check that here as far as I know (: There's 2 unisex bathrooms.

Yelp
Came during Happy Hour. Cool, dark and pirate ship vibe bar is definitely a go to. I think the bartender is the owner or manager and he was fantastic. My cousin ordered the "I don't know what I want" and gave him his taste preferences. His drink was DELICIOUS. the drinks have hilarious names and are wonderfully crafted. Definitely a go to for HH since everything is 1/2 off.

Yelp
Can't even leave one star of how terrible our night was last night. At first, it seemed ok, but that's because there was barely any patrons in the bar. As soon as it became packed, the two employees working were visibly overwhelmed which in turn, made both of them to become very aggressive and rude to our group, it escalated to the point that the bartender out his hands in two people in our group. We waited more than 15 minutes for drinks and beers, were never served bc of the incident that took place. I will never come back here. I will never recommend it to anyone. One woman said she was charged $120.00 for ONE drink. That's insane. Hopefully they can fix this issue, seems like we're not the only ones who've experienced the wrath of the rude staff.

Yelp
Really love this place. Try to couple different drinks and they were all great. One of the few places in Miami that actually has cider, so that was great. Bartender Joshua was phenomenal, even with dealing with insane drunk women. Actually got a signature cocktail that some form of filtered milk punch, taste like a Christmas Manhattan. Order the round of nugs as well, fine standard pubfair chicken nuggets. I would absolutely come back here in the future.

Yelp
If you loved the music of the "Kitchen Club" in South beach back in the day you will love Bar Nancy. Its a small club/bar on SW 8th Street. We danced to the sounds of Depeche Mode and New Order. It was super cool and the wait staff are incredible. In fact, I dropped my debit car in the bar. I sent a message via Instagram. Guess what?!! They had it and I went back the following weekend to pick it up :) Thanks again!!!

Yelp
It's a little too dark for my liking. Clean, nice bar staff and helpful. Good pour, fair price for food. Limited days open what the 3 stars.

Yelp
Bar Nancy is freaking awesome! I can't believe this spot has been open for almost a year, and the first time I visited was yesterday. But alas, better late than never! What a fun cocktail bar. Went with a group of Yelpmigos for Sunday Funday after the Gay8 Festival and was surprised to see that this bar has happy hour every.freaking.day. YASSSS! The bar is a nautical theme, and it's played up in all facets from the decor to the cocktail names and accoutrements. I've seen so many photos from here on the gram, so naturally my order had to be the Smile You Son of a Bitch. This is a tequila based cocktail with tropical flair and topped with a gummy shark! It was refreshing, not too sweet and mighty strong with that tequila. I opted for a wine as my second drink (I only love rosé and my momma, I'm sorry) but friends enjoyed their version of a Moscow mule, old fashioneds, and a rum manhattan. Aside from the expertly crafted drinks, the service was impeccable. You can tell the folks here absolutely love what they do, and put so much love into each cocktail. With the happy hour deal, drinks are a freaking steal! Will definitely be back to try the food, as it looked mighty tasty! Cheers, matey's!

Yelp
Thanks to a dear friend's intro to this awesome hidden gem on Calle Ocho, I was instantly in LOVE with this place! But, full disclosure, any place named in reference of a sailing vessel that played a part in the American Revolution, I am totally going to nerd-out like...hard! I enjoyed reading the namesake on the menu and I LOVED that the cocktails were all referential as well. The vibe was fantastic and it was great to see people just up and dancing even though it was crowded. I liked that it wasn't "forced participation"...you could actively participate or just sit back and chill and people watch (what I did) and either way you were gonna enjoy yourself. The band that was playing was "fire" and did some sick '90s covers. The only reason for a docked star was my friend didn't enjoy any of his drinks and he's been to this place several times, but apparently our bartender might have been new and was reading the recipes on the bar when making the drinks. Mine were fine, but I ordered "safely" and I have a somewhat diff palate when it comes to some cocktails than my friend. There was one drink he just literally could not drink, but was too polite to send it back. The cocktails are in the $14 range, but they use quality ingredients to justify the cost, even being in the Ocho area. I really enjoyed my visit here and cannot wait to come back the next time I am in Miami!

Yelp
Omg.... I've traveled all over many cities looking for the "holy grail" in Old Fashioned (my fav drink IF made correctly).... wow! AMAZING smoooth as silk drink! They have a collection of unique drinks that were all (the ones we tried) were delicious. Going back to sample some more... by far the best drinks my BF and I have had. What a little gem (in a dive bar kinda way) in the heart of little Havana... who would've known?! Pretty decent bar food too . Def will be returning

Yelp
If this is how Seamen drink... count me in!! We came to bar Nancy with some friends who live this place and have been here often. The place was full-ish, but we found enough seats at the bar to sit together. Music was pretty good. But loud, the DJ was right behind us so talking was a no go. The drink menu is extensive and every signature cocktail has a funny, sea inspired name. I ordered the Captain's Daughter, but I hated it. It tasted like cough medicine. The bartender was nice enough to exchange it for something else. Otherwise it would've been a wasted $15 because I would not have been able to drink it. I got the "Smile you Son of a Bitch,Smile" instead. Now, that one was amazing! It even came outfitted with a gummy shark. The only thing is that it's really sweet and delicious. You can get pretty drunk if you order a couple without even realizing it. I just order the one and enjoyed it thoroughly. The bartender was pretty cool, he even looked like a pirate! And it was entertaining to watch him make multiple different drinks at the same time. Every cocktail seemed to have 1000 different ingredients. I don't know how he can keep track of all of it! After that we went to the back where they have an open patio, it was a lot more chill back there and we were able to talk. I, of course had to order one of my usual old-fashioned. I think I order one everywhere I go. This one was pretty good as well. We stayed in that area for quite some time just talking. After that we went to a seating area where they have a few couches and a TV. This place has multiple sections that feel totally different, as if you were in a different place. Which I thought was pretty cool. I did see a stage but there was no band playing. Maybe next time. This is a pretty cool and amazing place. I would be back in a heartbeat, except there are so many new places I want to try in Miami, and I don't come here too often but it is one of the better ones I have been to so far! I highly recommend it!!

Yelp
Great vibe, great bar, great staff, and the food is very good for bar food. Try the cheeseburger... Little Mac.

Yelp
I love the theme at Bar Nancy... it is right on sw 8th street, you have to keep your eyes open because it can be hard to find. The drinks are well crafted with some ingredients we can't even pronounce! One of my favorites is the "smile, you some of a bitch", it comes with a gummy shark! Also, the food here is delicious. We had the chicharones, deviled eggs, mushroom planks, and the mac and cheese! All delicious in no specific order. The only thing I would pass on is the creme brulee, was way too sweet for my taste. It was like a Smores flavored. The lights are dimmed and theres plenty of seating options. There is also an outdoor patio that is really cute! Definitely a solid choice if you're looking for drinks, good eats, and conversations with friends!

Yelp
Last night I visited this particular bar with some friends. First and last time. The atmosphere is okay. The band was very good. However, the service was not great and the attitude of the employees (Amanda) was terrible. Then to boot, they charge almost $20 a drink! This bar is off their rocker to think that's acceptable. In my opinion, I would never go back to this establishment. It's not worth it! There's no real parking...then once you get inside you have to deal with waiting and the bad attitude of the employees, plus pay $20 a drink!?!? Not for me. My recommendation is if you want all of those things you can go to Miami Beach and at least you'd have a better atmosphere to deal with all the people the attitudes and the cost....

Yelp
Thank you to the Bar Nancy team, Lizz, and Ben for taking care of my friends and coworkers last week. We had a joint birthday and going away celebration, and between the hilariously named drinks and the delicious bites, a good time was had by all. I reached out via social, and Lizz was quick to respond and answer the questions I had. Their menu had changed from what's available online, so she sent me a photo of the new one to place orders ahead of time. Lizz reserved the outdoor patio for our group of 20 (complete with oscillating fans and plenty of seating) and Ben was checking in on us and taking orders the entire time we were there. He laughed with us, made sure there was water, forks, napkins, etc. and managed to keep all of our separate tabs handled and correct. For me, I ordered a good third of the menu. Sword fight (unbreaded cheese-sticks plus guava sauce - I would order these 10 times), mushroom and cheese planks (ooey-gooey mushroom filled sticks!), potato cakes (tasty, but maybe not worth it for 3 cakes), and the land lubber pork sliders (with an amazing Sriracha slaw, and I would order these again!) were my food choices. I also nibbled on a friend's Nancy's Kettle, which was their mac and cheese offering and a definite yes in my book if you want something filling and shareable. I also had the Smile You Son of a Bitch (sweet, tropical, they no longer use the ginger milk syrup, and there's a fun gummy shark inpaled at the top), the Abigail Adams (definitely more of a weekend vibes, juicy cocktail that was dangerously tasty), and the Mutiny Milk Punch (for me, it was incredibly strong so it was a slow sipper - but they bottle it up and let is sit for a few days before they serve it, so a complex flavor for sure). I would for sure have these all again if I'm not on a mission to have their whole menu! Bonus points for 50% off drinks during their happy hour. Parking is plentiful - it's right across the street from the new condos on 19th, so this might not be accurate for long, but I had no troubles finding a space. Get your butt here after work for a quiet bar with lots of space for your friends.

Yelp
If you want to experience the rudest bartender on the planet, come here. It's a real shame because the venue is cool and they have great performers. But with the ultra-nasty guy behind the bar, this is NOT a place I'd recommend unless you invite being grossly mistreated.

Yelp
Feels good to be back out for #happyhour @barnancymiami ! Drinks were amazing. Can't beat happy hour 1/2 off from 4 to 7! The atmosphere is very chill, the service was great, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They also have a small patio in the back! Would love to come back for some live music coming soon! The drinks we had: Walk the Plank, 3-pounder Guns, Smile You Son of a Bitch, Mutiny Milk Punch.

Yelp
I want to apologize ahead of time for what I'm about to do. I'm going to hype this place up like someone hypes up a movie where you then have no choice but to go see that freaking movie because everyone is raving about it. Sorry. It must be done. I walked into this place on a cloudy Thursday afternoon for some happy hour libations and was greeted by THE MOST friendly, funny, entertaining and talented bartenders and server around. Okay, I was one of four at the bar but they still greeted everyone after me with the same optimism and nautical puns that I honestly was a little envious at how much they were enjoying their job. Man, I wish I had such a fun job. I'm sure it helps when you have a good crowd around you, not only co-workers but patrons. Everyone that walked in was nice - none of this pretentious-I'm-not-talking-to-anyone-not-in-my-cirlce crap. I have to give it to the staff for facilitating that though, making it a super chill environment to mix and mingle. So I guess I should go on to the next amazing thing about this place - the decor. You walk in from Little Havana transported into a ship. Bar Nancy was named after a Revolutionary War supply ship, which is fitting because it now supplies me with the elixir of life in the form of delicious cocktails. The dark wood, the fish tank, the leather chairs - everything so inviting, you forget about the sweltering heat and cat-calling hombres just outside the door. The outdoor area - still in progress - is going to be a lush oasis with a separate drink menu catered to the tropical climate. Amazing thing #3 - happy hour. It's from 5-8 and well drinks are about $7. What is super amazing is that well whiskey includes Four Roses Bourbon and Rittenhouse Rye. They are perfecting their cocktail menu but in the meantime, you can tell them your flavor profile and they will whip something delicious up. My favorite drink was something garnished with rose tea leaves. It was so refreshing! Amazing thing #4 - the food. The chicharrones were bangin'! The sauce has a little kick to it. The sloppy joe was heavenly. They're adding more delicious items to the menu and I'm looking forward to trying them all. Amazing thing #5 - the music and vibe - it's so different and refreshing. You're hearing the stuff from the height of Coast 97.3 FM when it was music from the "70s, 80s and today". So nostalgic. And it's pretty fun to sing along when you're feeling the effects of those cocktails. So yeah, I'm kind of in love with this place. And if we have anything in common, I know you kind of will be too.

Yelp
Pros: This is my new favorite Friday night spot, they have a legit 80s night that just absolutely rocked my world! We had a blast dancing, the DJ was spectacular and she was also having a good time, which makes for an overall great atmosphere! They have a beautiful bar with a great selection of drinks. The decor is freaking cool, they really went all out with the nautical/ship theme, love it! Cons: They need food! Their food menu online is no longer being served, such a bummer because it sounded great! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This place was alright. I'm not sure what all the hype is about. This bar is modeled after a ship. Ok, yea, I agree that's cool- but it's so dark you can't even see half the decor. We came here around 6 pm. They were playing old school slow oldies music on Pandora. I asked if we could change the tunes to house music or something a little more upbeat. Request was denied because upbeat music wasn't played until 10 pm. So just to set the scene: there was us 6 young adults drinking cocktails in this dark bar with oldies music playing in the company of 5 other strangers. We started yawning while drinking. The cocktails were alright. Happy hour $7 drinks was a plus but the cocktails were too sweet for me. I ordered the Smile You Son of a B (came with a toy shark) and then stuck to Hendricks and tonics after that. I'm not sure why this bar has such a high rating. I think there are plenty other spots that are cooler in this rating.

Yelp
A must go! Finally a bar done right.from head to toe this place amazed me. Drinks - are amazing! Every drink we had was amazing from a simple screwdriver that blew my mind (first screwdriver I've ever had with freshly squeezed orange juice ) to the "smile you son of a bit**" which creative touches and flavor were amazing (clever funny name , small shark gummy on top, and amazing flavor) Atmosphere - when you first walk in it is a chill bar scene with relaxing dim lights and high tops then as you proceed further in there is a stage with great live music and entertainment (depending on the night you go it changes). Atmosphere 2- then if you proceed all the way out to the patio it transforms to a beautifully lite romantic setting where it's quiet and you can talk , great for if you have a date or met someone there you wanted to get to know better . Food - great flavor and well priced (enough said there ) Owners- you cannot beat a place run by good people and this place in run by the best Most kind people . Ever in little Havana and want to be surprised and amazed ? Stop by and check it out , you won't regret it .

Yelp
Oh wow I loveddddddd this spot! They had a great band playing the night I went and I had so much fun listening to music and having a good cocktail. Its no frills but clean, and friendly like a bar should be. Super welcoming environment and I absolutely would love to make it back and see another random (to me) band.

Yelp
This was our first time here to see Dovydas. It was such a great atmosphere. We ordered 4 drinks while we were there for the 2 hour band set. Drink prices were typical for that area. Can't rate the food since we didn't order anything but I did see that it was brought in paper lined picnic style baskets. The bar had a pirate theme and the restrooms were very clean and very well kept. Had a little nook area that looks like you were on an old pirate ship. Great for pictures. Overall would definitely come back. Music was amazing. Sound was awesome as well not to loud and could still enjoy the music!!!

Yelp
Dear Owner, get your professionalism together if you want to keep your business. Verbally assaulting and jumping over the bar through customers to phsycially assualt a customer isn't a great image for you.

Yelp
Off joint. Dark and dingy, but not in a good dive bar way. Staff was watching a movie when we got there and could care less about us

Yelp
My friends Pena Maxima played last night. I thought it would be full of hipsters but it was very nice, cozy, a great large patio area in the back to smoke, drink, and relax, cool staff, the sound is on point, and good pints. I will definitely return probably for the Smiths cover band Ordinary Boys. Parking is on the street, but pretty easy to find. Beware you can only do it for 3 hours, so right when it ends, renew it so the city doesn't give you a ticket.

Yelp
Been there several times and always great!!! It's exactly what you expect it to be... it's exactly what they are supposed to be. A bar with amazing cocktails and great food. Almost every night you can find live music performances, artists. Staff is friendly and on point. 5* totally deserved Recommended

Yelp
My first experience at Bar Nancy was a very good one. We got there shortly after they opened so the crowd was a bit light but that was fine. The owner Ben was great. He took the time to tell us about the history of the bar. He and his staff were great. We took advantage of the great 4-7 happy hour they have. I typically don't like nautical themes but they took it to a far more creative level. The bar has a small to medium size front area, a large size booth off to the side and a pretty good sized patio out back which had a really cool look and vibe. The drink menu was creative. Something for everyone and the drink names - from 'Smile, you son of a bitch', to 'We're gonna need a bigger boat' - just added a couple more laughs to an already fun visit. It's more of a neighborhood place than a touristy joint. The local customers were friendly and fun to hang with. They have live music too. Drinks were made very well by Ben and his team and the prices were really great. Parking in the area can be a hassle in peak hours Im sure but around 500 we found a spot easily out front and it was only a few dollars to park for a couple hours. Go see Ben and the crew at Bar Nancy. It's a great local business to support during these trying times.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem! The bar is decorated in a ship theme with is pretty cool and the drinks are so cool. They have a nice drink menu with all kinds of options and they come with little sharks inside that give a little fun. I went to there arroz con mango event and I love that they had all kinds of vendors and live music.
