This place will give you creepy grandparent vibes in the best way . There was a live DJ when I was there and all of the music was great! This place brings in a variety of people, which was a pleasant surprise to me. I would return.😜

Came across this bar by accident but the inside is what brought me in and the friendly staff and atmosphere got me to stay a while. Fun spot to go out for some drinks or some great food. Only wish they had drinks on tap but they do have great selection of liquors and canned beers.

Went to check out this new bar and ended up having the time of our lives! The music is so good, it’s mixed with pop to 80’s rock. We had the Banh Mi which was exceptional, then we drank & danced. Our bartender Miranda is the sweetest and so hot. All the details from the signs to the murals on the back patio is so much fun. We were all smiles leaving this place! What an awesome addition to okc

This bar was such an amazing addition to OKC!!! The interior decor is super rustic and vintage! It has that warm cozy feel to it; very photo worthy! The staff had great hospitality and was super sweet and easy to converse with! The drinks are perfectly made and not badly priced! 10/10 would recommend you bring your friends here!

Fantastic place for day drinking, especially if you have a group with you. Bar seating is pretty limited but the main point is the group seating areas. Tables, couches, chairs, coffee tables, etc. Has a 70s garage vibe to it without being tacky. Bartender was attentive and social (hi, Ari!) and they have a crane game where you can win drinks! Great little spot on the Uptown 23rd strip, although the location has gone through 3 or 4 different names/bars over the years. Cheap prices, too, especially with the rest of Uptown raising their prices post-CoVID.

I like the staff for the most part. Definitely a fun turn on a divey atmosphere. The lack of respect for the surrounding community 100% turns me off from going here. No other bars on the street blast music until the wee hours of the night without any regard for people living in the surrounding areas. Several people in the neighborhood have asked staff many times politely to turn it down, especially when the back patio is typically completely empty and yet it still happens. Get it together, and do better, everyone else has figured it out but for some reason, not you.

What a fun place! We sorta just wandered in after being in the neighborhood and had a great time. Awesome crowd, great positive vibe, good music, very switched on and attentive bar staff. Overall they just seem to have the recipe just right for a fun bar. We are a bit older than the typical customer and still had a great time. Def recommend.

Love going here for a casual night with friends! It gives a dive bar feel, they have Dj's, pool, and darts. The little outside patio is a cute spot in the summer to check out too.

This bar reminds me of a small town bar from the movies! Mix match furniture, vintage vibe, but also very trendy!

I love this place but allowing kids to play your claw machine and run thru your bar isn't the best look for y'all. They were here for over an hr and I still have no idea why this was allowed by staff.

As a long time mixologist the blonde bartender speaking to my African American best friend the way she did when it comes to serving patrons was not hospitable in the industry of hospitality. Working in hospitality is about making people feel welcome not like a bother with a drink order. You don't say I'm helping these people you're going to have to wait with the tone of voice that she used.... A seasoned bartender would say hey babe I've got you give me a minute. Then on last call she said she's been at this establishment for an amount of time as if that's impressive given the hospitality she neglected to offer. If I was the owner here I would consider reminding staff what being in hospitality is & that they represent the owner as well as the community here in Oklahoma is very small.

Terrible service from the bartender that took our food order. She seemed annoyed that she actually had to work to take food orders from the pop up shop. My pregnant girlfriend asked if they had a bottle of water and the bartender rudely replied "No." Offer a cup of water? Nothing. We all understand you are a bartender and probably want to only make drinks and take drink orders instead of dealing with a line of people that just came for food... but have some basic customer service skills. She can't even make the excuse of having a long day because we were literally the third customer to order food. Sadly the food was overpriced and simply didn't taste good. We wanted to like it so bad. This isn't the bar's fault, but the following may be since the bartender processed our order/payment. I normally tip even on to go orders, but she had zero customer service and was rude, and we decided to take our food to eat in the car... but guess what...They took it upon themselves, added tip/over charged my credit card. Smh... just disputed it with my credit card no big deal but just disgusting behavior. Wouldn't recommend Oni OKC for the food, but this review isn't about the food. It's about the bad bartender. Definitely wouldn't recommend a place to drink where you couldn't trust your bartender with your tab. Having terrible food is not illegal. Not tipping for bad service is not illegal. Falsifying charges on someone's credit card is.

One of the first places I visited when I moved to OKC, met some great people but the staff really brings it all down. Two of the 4 bartenders I've interacted with are great, the other two were rude as if just for the fun of it. I could care less if people are rude to me but when you go out of your way to make a person feel like shit about the smallest of things they ask, and that logically don't make sense for anyone to be upset about, it really takes it up a notch. Grow up and learn how to have a conversation with your customers, especially ones that come to you before escalating the situation higher in the first place.

Zach is such a great bartender! I am definitely returning for his service and the vibe in this place is great!

Zach made my night! He may be the only reason why I come back to the Bar Next Door. This is a great bar but Zach makes it even better! I hope that you all consider coming here for Zach and the Bar Next Door! Great drinks, great service!

Zach is the best bartender ever. He is so friendly and open to sharing recommendations for drinks, places to visit and just an overall amazing human being. Highly recommending visiting the Bar Next Door specially if Zach is working!

Saw the most MASSIVE cockroach literally crawl across the computer as I was ordering my cocktail. I was kind of in shock and when the bartender came back with my drink I was like do you realize you guys are serving food and drinks and have roaches crawling around? Like in the open even? And the bartender just laughed. Lol somehow I don't think the health department will be laughing
