Bar Old-fashioned

During my week-long trip to Seoul (last week of Jan 2025), instead of trying different bars each night, I had the fortune to chance upon this bar first. I visited three times over the week because it was that good and I did not feel a need to try and find better. Great music, friendly people, amazing cocktails (around ~20k won). Tried the old fashioned (bourbon and rye versions), negroni, manhattan, espresso martini, strawberry fields forever, maverick, sidecar. They were all delicious. Side note: The cute bartender cracked open some peanuts for me (I had an injured arm) with one hand, and I instantly fell in love with her.

Best burbon old fashioned I’ve had in a while. Excellent eclectic music when I was there, incl.Portishead. Friendly relaxing spot and it was my fav cocktail bar in Hongdae.

I've been coming to this bar approximately 8 years+, this is my first time at a new location since they have been relocated last year. Owner bartender Han-byul speaks great English and also very warm accomodating, he's unbelievably knowedgeable and also passionate about craft cocktail. there is a menu that often gets updated but if u communicate witht Han-byul for ur cocktail trust me he will find the right one if not best one for u. you can casually see regulars singing along together and share their food that they have brought or deliver from outside. Yes it's that kinda neighborhood bar whether u r regular or a new customer u can just simply have a good drinks and good music with others and chill.

Balance. Balance is the most important thing in Cocktail. He has a great ability to keep the Balance, and you will understand after visiting this place. Nowadays, people want photogenic things in this field, but you can enjoy the Real meaning of a glass of Cocktail. And you must order a glass of Old-fashioned. Enjoy!

Eunbin must try the espresso martini! We loved our cocktails and would highly recommend. The bar gets busy after midnight.

Epic classic cocktails. No frills, just straight up good drinks, good music, good people. They speak English but it's a local spot so don't go in guns blazing.

This place is a crazy bar. The bartenders and customers greet me like they've been family for a long time. If I were to visit the area again, I would definitely choose this place.

If you enjoy classic cocktails, this is the place to be. Unlike some fancy bars, he may seem a little indifferent. But the owner sure knows his trade and always tries to give you the best he can make at the moment. Great music selection is also a plus. All in all, absolutely recommended.
