Bar Peri @ AC Hotel Atlanta Perimeter

This was my first time here and I had a lovely experience with my friends! My first impression of this place was, “Wow” because this is truly a hidden gem. Everyone was very nice and welcoming once we walked in. The patio was clean. Our drinks and food were delicious. I recommend their Barbecue Chicken Flatbread. They also offer free parking, unlike other rooftop bars in Midtown or Buckhead. The only suggestion I have is they play some background music for extra ambiance, doesn’t have to be loud, but maybe their sound system was down :) Thank you again Bar Peri!

It’s a nice quiet place, parking was easy. There are heaters outside for those winter outings. Live music, plenty of space and seating. We went on a Wednesday and we were the only ones and got banana old fashioned which was good. The cocktail prices are between $12-$16 which is on par for this area and the quality of the liquor used. Definitely will come back

Disappointed with the whole experience. The basil Margherita was not worth the money, the flatbread was good. Service was average. The view was just OK. It's pricy and that was expected.

Fantastic! View of the horizon looking out over Atlanta. Outdoor deck with a European vibe. Strongly recommend letting the bar tenders craft a custom cocktail based on your tastes.

PLEASE WATCH OUT. The bar is nice and all however they added a 25% gratuity without telling me. They also wrongfully added 3 shots of Jameson to my tab. When I called about that charge the lady was rude and said I should have checked my receipt.

Great place to sundown after work, especially on the nights with live music. Love views, comfortable seating- just an all around good gathering place. Would love more options for food but overall really enjoyed it. Oh and free parking!

I loved the service and atmosphere but the menu was very basic. A lot of items they had on the menu were not available. But very cute rooftop bar.

Stopped by with a friend to Bar Peri last week and really enjoyed the experience at this swanky rooftop bar. They had live music from Sami and Sean duo that Wednesday night, and the atmosphere was very European with bartender Zam making the signature cocktails at the bar. I will definitely be back for live music when Sami and Sean perform again, so I hope that becomes a regular thing. For drinks, we had a few whiskey and bourbon cocktails as well as their strawberry and basil margaritas that were delicious. From what I can tell, their food and drink menu selections change seasonally, so always something new to look forward to. The small plates menu is limited but there are a few good options like different flavored wings, meats and cheeses, bacon wrapped dates, dips and flatbreads. Definitely give this place a try for a chill date night with a cool view of the skyline :)

Great location, clean and amazing service. Shout out to Gwen and Nan for their amazing customer service. I highly recommend this location. Restaurants galore.

Upon arriving, we were informed that even though we had made reservations days ahead, the rooftop was closed due to a private event. After speaking with an employee from the front desk about the situation, and about 10 minutes of sitting in the lobby, a manager came over to apologize and offered us two free cocktails, plus dinner on her if we chose to stay. Bar experience: Nice atmosphere, There was live music for a brief moment when we arrived, a male/female duo on guitar that sounded really good. The bartender was efficient, though he seemed overwhelmed at one point when there was a surge in customers, but the drinks were still well concocted and fairly strong. We decided to enjoy an order of prosciutto and manchego cheese, keeping it very light, as we knew we would be enjoying dinner elsewhere due to the change of plans. It was served in the style of a charcuterie board. The presentation was horrible but it tasted delicious. I will probably not be returning, as nothing really made this a visit to remember.

The hotel is near the office I need to visit, but otherwise it is lacking compared with other Marriott options in the area. Nice front desk staff, hard beds (no oversleeping!) pillows with no fill, and the worst food option I have encountered. The food is limited, overpriced, and the egg options are worse than dissapponting.

Really nice building right in the middle of you need. Couple of issues were with the cleaning of the rooms. They only clean and change towels every 3 days, when I asked for clean towels they looked at me like I had 3eyes. Parking is $20 a night this was never explained, being in the suburbs I was a bit surprised. Front desk seamed a little confused at times with late checkout which was granted at first the we were told they couldn't do it.

The AC is a really nice hotel. I stay there often when I am in the northern perimeter of ATL

Great experience from friendly front house staff to clean room, easy free parking, late checkout, convenient location and love the streaming tv options. Nice modern hotel

Good place for a group meeting, but the food is not the best. Sausage is so over cooked that it could be endorsed by Wayne Gretzky.

Good clean and modern hotel that I would only stay if I were on a business trip and alone. I wouldn't recommend it for a family. The automatic light sensor in the restroom, shower head placement, and water leakage were really bad. The breakfast was also very very lackluster. I didn't experience any noise issues and I was on the 5th floor near the elevators facing the parking lot.

Look. If you can get a corner room, then it's a nice place to stay. If not, you'll likely end up in one of their other rooms where the design is unsettling. For starters, the bathroom sink is 2 feet from where you sleep. Not behind a sliding bathroom door or with the shower, but right...freaking...there. Fun fact: you can brush your teeth with one hand and make your coffee, with your other hand, without taking a single step, because the coffee maker is inches away. WTH. Whatever doofus architect/designer came up with this layout should be barred from designing anything ever again. Staff is friendly and the bar is nice enough, so they get a couple of stars for making the best of a bad hotel layout.

This Review is based on my experience at the Bar Peri @AC rooftop bar on the evening of 03/25/23. I never write reviews but I felt the need to warn other potential patrons. Please proceed with caution if you're a single young woman. My friend and I decided to come here because we've never been and this bar is located five minutes away from home. Unfortunately, we had the worst experience at ac rooftop bar. My friend was physically assaulted by a belligerent drunk guy who had been roaming the bar urinating on himself, vomiting off the rooftop and bothering us and other patrons. We tried avoiding this guy but he eventually got upset because we refused to have a drunk conversation with him. We were extremely scared & uncomfortable. The bartender witnessed everything and did nothing. He never asked this guy to leave. Oh and guess what? He actually CONTINUED to serve him alcohol . The bartender was a slim black guy, I cannot recall his name but he should be fired! Everyone in the bar was uncomfortable but no one wanted to say anything. My friend contemplated calling the police but we just decided to leave. We reported the incident to the short guy at the front desk of the hotel and he seemed slightly remorseful about what had occurred. I just don't understand why this bar doesn't have security or employees that actually care about your safety. Needless to say, we will never return. I really wanted to like this place because it's beautiful but there is no regard for your safety or comfort at this establishment

We went to the Roof top lounge. Bar Peri. Great views and Tapas bites. We had the charcuterie plate and bbq chicken flatbread, it was more like a pizza, delicious. You order your drinks and food from the bar, and the bar tending staff is fabulous and friendly.

Clean newer place however the room placement and design are horrible. "Bathroom" sink was close to your bed and in the open. My room had the 24-hour gym above it. That means when people decide to workout... like 2, 3, 4, 5 AM... you get to hear dumbells drop and the thumping of treadmills. It's awfully loud to the point where the walls and windows were vibrating. Even in the shower (with it on) I could hear the treadmills. This place has potential but looks like a lot of bad design decisions that are not the staff's fault. But they need to change the design or make the 6th floor uninhabitable.

The rooftop, Bar Peri, at the new AC Hotel by Marriott, opened, with publicity, on Friday (Oct 8, 2021). After checking the website we decided to go take a look the next Sunday at 6:30pm. They were to be open till 8:00pm. However, the desk clerk announced they were closed! We suggested they change their website, but were told: "too much trouble". It would have been nice had they given us a little perk, or a kind word, to promote another attempt and reward us for our trouble!

Very bland accommodations, the breakfast bar is terrible, not worth the $15 per person for sure......they've run out of coffee two days in a row...it's just easier to walk to Starbucks.

Bad first impression when checking in for a two night stay....Let me preface by saying I am a Lifetime Titanium Member with Bonvoy. I've been at this a very long time(in fact longer than AC hotels have been in existence). I book on The Bonvoy website, not a third party site....I had booked a standard king room but was given a handicapped king off the elevator. I can assure you I did not book a handicapped room at this hotel. Unfortunately the hotel was sold out and they had no other rooms they could move me into. I was not going to stay in a handicapped room,....so I left. Adam Hill, the hotel manager responded to my TripAdvisor review and stated that this is the lowest room type that they offer and they only have five of these on the property. So the hotel only has five standard king rooms on the property? I don't think so, highly unlikely. If anybody doubts what I booked, I kept a copy as I always do of the original reservation which I would be happy to post and in fact I will when I get home from this business trip. Needless to say, I will not return to this hotel ever again.
