Bar Pimentel

What an incredible find! Par Pimentel was the first restaurant I tried during my visit to Barcelona, and it absolutely set the bar high for the rest of my trip. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the beautiful interior design that creates such a welcoming atmosphere. The food was simply amazing - every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I also have to mention their wine selection, which perfectly complemented our meal. Par Pimentel has definitely earned a spot on my must-visit list - I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in Barcelona! Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional food and service in a beautiful setting.

Amazing place to come for a drink sns some amazing tapas. Enjoyed everything on the menu, but I highly suggest you get the scallops, they were delicious. Def a favorite place I stopped by in Barcelona and would love to come back again. A must try if you’re in the area.

A tapas bar with variety of bites. Very small portions (oh right, it's tapas!) Food was OK, fried calamari / squid was so dry and salty. Usually recommended minimum of four tapas and two dishes for two people. Busy and crowded place, suggest have reservation or expect long wait time. Service though is responsive. Not good for kids, seniors and inaccessible. Must park outside of old town and walk in.

Really enjoyed my time here. Cute spot that both locals and tourists like me gravitate towards to. The staff were really friendly and attentive! The customer service attributed a lot to my 5-star review. What I got: pork belly on top of a runny egg with some sort of a soft mashed potato. This one is really good though very rich! I ordered some bread on the side to complement it. Another recommendation was the anchovy on top of a thin sourdough toast. Also very good! I also got here what was, by far, the best porn star martini of my life. Queue got long at around 8 pm but it’d be fairly easy to be seated if you’re by yourself like me.

One of my favourites in Barcelona. This tapas spot is an absolute gem. The food is delicious, with fresh seafood straight from the market next door and croquetas that are seriously to die for. There’s a great selection of wine and drinks, and the staff are some of the kindest you’ll meet. It’s perfect for lunch or dinner. Booking is recommended, but you might get lucky and find a spot at the bar for one or two.

Absolutely stunning experience!! One of the greatest and most delicious time I had! Wonderful hospitality from the whole team, big love to Juan for taking warm top care of us 🩷. Amazing selection of wine and each of the dishes were great! Lovely interior, nice playlist too! Definitely highly recommend and be back as soon as possible!

Everything we ordered was so tasty, chicken croquettes, mushroom croquettes, tortilla, ensaladilla rusa and patatas bravas. The food was delicious, but what really made the experience special was Paco. He was so friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome. We couldn’t leave happier than we did ☺️

We had such an amazing time at Bar Pimentel that we visited twice. Reservations are highly encouraged and listen to the recommendations of the staff, you can’t go wrong with anything in the menu. Special thanks to Sitho for his amazing service!
