Bar Pintxos

Lovely staff, fantastic food. We had red sangria , 3 Pintxos each and a couple of tapas. One hot one was butter pie and the other was ox cheek. All tasted fantastic definitely be visiting again.

We had a wonderful evening for our family celebration. We had the gold buffet, with a couple of changes. Every member of our group was catered for, Cat helped us to make changes to cater for vegetarian and gluten free diets. The food just seemed to keep on coming and was all delicious. The service was friendly and efficient - despite the fact that the restaurant was also unusually busy for a Tuesday! It was the perfect setting and so lovely to have our own space so that everyone could mingle with everyone. The background music was perfect and added to the special, relaxed atmosphere. Everybody there commented on what a lovely evening it was. I cannot thank you enough for making this occasion such an amazing evening for us all.

Lovely place to go for a drink ( and the better half says great food too ). Great Daiquiri cocktails and beer too. Nice and friendly service. Thank you

Wow what can I say?! Third time we have been here, but this time was definitely the best. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was wonderful. My husband and I had a great time- first kid free date night in a while! The food was great! All in all a fabulous evening. Thank you, we will be back, most probably next week!

I went with a friend for dinner and was pleasantly surprised, having not known anyone who had been previously. The lady behind the bar was so friendly and passionate about the food and drinks, it really impressed me. The food was great, as were the cocktails. I would definitely go back with my husband, a bigger group of friends and I would even try it with the kiddies.

I don't think I could recommend a specific dish, because I tried everything in yhe menu, and it's all amazing. My favourites are the pata negra, the bread and the croquetas. For dessert, churros with caramel sauce. The wine list is amazing as well, recommend the Rioja. @barpintxospreston

Incredible flavours, food, service and atmosphere. The restaurant has an authentic Spanish feel, Jamon hanging from the ceiling, exposed brickwork, and one of the best playlists I've heard in a restaurant for a while (familiar songs with a Spanish/Flamenco twist). Service was fast, attentive and friendly, one small error with the drinks order but that was rectified immediately without hesitation. The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and came across as incredibly passionate, which is refreshing and encouraging. We started with a selection of pintxos, which can certainly be shared between 2, making it very easy to try several dishes... We ordered the Prawn and Anchovy, Jamon and Manchego, pork belly and ox cheek Empanadilla to start. All were perfectly prepared, providing big, bold flavours that quite literally took me back to my time in Spain! (Like the Ratatouille bloke!) After a bit of a rest we decided to try the patatas bravas, chorizo croqueta and some more pintxos... We actually ordered the Prawn and Anchovy, Empanadillas and the Pork Belly again, they were that exceptional!! We also decided to try the octopus, which was mind blowingly good. We finished with churros AND cheesecake (with sherry) both of which were just exquisite and finished the meal perfectly. We finished our drinks whilst talking with the Head Chef/Owner who made us feel incredibly welcomed and like we had been a hundred times before. Pintxos is easily the best Spanish food I've eaten outside of Spain. We will definitely be back, the sooner the better. Would taken more photos but we were a bit distracted by the incredible food!

5 of us had a rare impromptu Saturday evening out In Preston City Centre, and stumbled across what can only be described as a fabulous gem of a place in the centre of Preston, opposite the market. In our opinion the service, wine, menu selection and food quality and presentation was a rare delight for Preston. We managed to complement a young woman who looked after a bunch of 5 lads (us) all evening with amazing food and service, only to discover it was hers and her husbands place... Her name is Kat. Thank you Kat and her team for bringing something rare & special to our city centre. I cannot recommend your place enough... we will be back x
