Bar Prep

I visited with my man, and it was by far the most impressive place we experienced in Gyeongju. The staff were extremely kind and did their best to communicate with us in English. We are truly grateful for their warm hospitality. We initially sat at a table and then moved to seats at the bar. The bartender served excellent cocktails, and the food was outstanding. They have special cocktails with a distinct Korean twist. They even escorted us until we left, which made us feel genuinely cared for. Thank you to the entire PREP team for giving us such a wonderful night.

Bubbles and I needed a drink and found this bar. The service and friendly staff were so welcoming and generally interested in talking with us. The best part of all was that we also made wonderful cocktails, one of which had a dill foam that made Bubbles smile. We also had a great time chatting with one of the locals, who gave us a great tip for some KBBQ, a great bar, great people, and the best cocktails in the area!

The best bar in Gyeongju, if not Korea. Great signature cocktails, awesome view of King’s tomb, cozy but modern vibes and super friendly bartenders. Highly recommend.

Best bar we’ve been to in Korea. The food was great and the cocktails were next level - seriously some of the best we’ve ever had (in Korea or otherwise). The flavours tasted uniquely Gyeongju and felt very special. The service was also top tier - props to the two waiters who did an amazing job of making the experience feel very special (and were very patient with my not-so-amazing Korean). Foreigner friendly and 11/10 recommend to anyone visiting Gyeongju.

Went here after a local recommendation on a cold windy day, and the warm atmosphere directly charmed us. The cocktails we ordered were delicious and accompanied with a lovely backstory by the waiter. We got to try some local Temonje liquor as well as some home-made Makgeolli, which both were delicious. Cherry on the top was the handwarmers we got as a goodbye gift, which were perfect for the cold weather. Highly recommend checking out this bar, especially since they offer great views on the tomb mounts as well!

Honestly what the hecko, this was amazing. Perfect little cocktail bar with staff that were insanely friendly and patient. They described each cocktail in English, and gave great recommendations. We came by in winter and the warm Stollen Cocktail was perhaps the single best winter/Christmas/new year drink I have ever had.

Maybe the best cocktail bar around here. Cozy atmosphere, reasonable price, and most of all, fabulous cocktails. Tastes great but still doesn't looses the concept of "Korea"
