Guests can enjoy dishes like fajitas made with carnitas or cauliflower, build-your-own bodega bowls, and tacos such as truffle barbacoa and carne asada cheesesteak. The cocktail menu is tequila-heavy, featuring margaritas and the Mexican Old Fashioned. The space spans 5,500 square feet and includes a 2,000 square foot outdoor patio and bar designed with modern Mexican and classic elements." - Olee Fowler

Bar Rita in Fort Lauderdale offers a great dining experience with a vibrant atmosphere perfect for a casual night out. I ordered the loaded nachos with Impossible meat, and while they initially seemed a bit dry on top, once I dug in, I discovered a delicious medley of cheese, sour cream, guacamole, fresh vegetables, and Impossible beef seasoned perfectly with Mexican spices. The flavors really came together, making each bite satisfying and enjoyable. Storm opted for the three chicken tacos, which were part of the Taco Tuesday special, and he thoroughly enjoyed them. The tacos were well-prepared, and the portion size was just right. He also had a strawberry-infused margarita, which added a refreshing and fruity twist to the meal. I kept it simple with an unsweetened iced tea, which was fresh and crisp. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment to relax and enjoy the food. The servers were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed, although a little more attention throughout the meal would have been appreciated. Overall, Bar Rita delivered a good dining experience with tasty food, a pleasant atmosphere, and solid service. It’s a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking for a fun, casual place to enjoy a meal.

I like the location of this restaurant, they have a nice patio with unique furniture. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was spectacular. We went there on Sunday around 11 a.m., and I think they were short on servers. The attention to us could be better.

We visited for happy hour and ended up staying for 4 hours! The margaritas are delicious. We ordered pitchers, and they did not disappoint. The food was also delicious. I recommend the carne asada fries and the chicken wings. The birria tacos are also a must!

I recently visited this amazing spot and was blown away by the quality of the food! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and prepared to perfection & quick. The portions were incredibly generous, ensuring you leave fully satisfied. Their mocktails are a standout – expertly crafted and delicious, they complement the meals perfectly. Whether you're a fan of refreshing drinks or hearty meals, this place has got you covered. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic dining experience with excellent food and drinks! I have to say, our experience was made even better by our amazing waitress, Sarah. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Sarah made excellent recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. Her warm and welcoming demeanor truly enhanced our visit. If you dine here, be sure to ask for Sarah – she’s the best!

Honestly we were going to give this place a low rating because the service was sooo slow BUT the food was soo good we forgot all about it as soon as we tasted everything. The carne asada tacos were delicious and the chicken bowl was incredible! My husband usually doesn’t like beans and he even loved the refried beans here. The only complaint we had about the food was how small the portion for the bowl was, but otherwise everything was incredible. We also ordered the churros and ice cream for dessert and unfortunately they took so long to bring it out that it was basically almost fully melted and our server comped it since she saw how bad it was. Like I said the service was extremely slow that night, maybe they were understaffed? Because we realized a few other tables were complaining about the speed of food/service. They changed our sever around 3 times. Overall We’d go back again for the chicken bowl alone! So good

Went in on Taco Tuesday for a dinner. Dinner was pretty good. But it did take a long while for it to come in, and some food was cold. The waitress was either pretty busy or just unattentive cause we didn't see much of her. And the wait staff just kind of dropped the food on our table without checking who's it for. We did have a large party of 10, so it got confusing whose food was for who. I did really like that we were able to separate checks in however many ways we needed. It's definitely a big plus. I'd come back to check out the brunch because I hear it's a lot fun, but maybe not the dinner.

Been eyeing this place and finally stopped in for a post-work meet-up. Server was excellent. Friendly, helpful, attentive, polite without an over the top vibe which was super refreshing. The margaritas are SUBLIME! I love a classic Cadillac anyway, but Bar Rita is a great destination to switch up margaritas and experiment with flavor profiles. Amazing! Orange Kush CBD margarita was RIDICULOUS SO SO SO SO SO GOOD The spicy watermelon margarita was also fantastic Fundido is a must! If you dine here and skip this appetizer, you're doing it all wrong! Chips and salsa was great. Mahi tacos were heaven. I'd get again and again. We sat outdoors and it wasn't hot or hunid. Parking lot was free when I got there on gravel. Not sure if there's valet or if there's a charge...I was there at 530pm. Great place to keep coming back to.

Google
Excellent customer service and we had a great experience here! Food was delicious and tasted fresh! They have a huge outdoor seating area and also they have a dining area on the second floor! This place is gorgeous and an excellent choice for a fun night out with friends and family!

Yelp
I absolutely love Bar Rita! It's one of my go-to spots for Taco Tuesday or happy hour. Every time I visit, I make sure to get the Carne Asada Fiesta Fries--they're so filling and absolutely delicious. I also usually go for the 'Don't Be a Prick' Margarita, but this time I switched things up and tried the margarita flight to sample more of the menu. The service is always top-notch, with high-energy staff who are super personable and attentive. The ambiance? It's a total vibe! Everyone's having a great time, thanks to the amazing staff and even better music. I especially love sitting out on the grassy terrace or the rooftop for the best experience and vibes. 10 out of 10--I've never had a bad time here, especially for Taco Tuesday, brunch, or happy hour!

Yelp
Over the weekend, we had an amazing dinner at Bar Rita with a large group of friends, and it was everything we hoped for. The vibrant setting, with its colorful painted facade, really sets the mood for a fun night out in Fort Lauderdale. Also, don't forget that there is free parking! I went for the enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the fajitas, and they were just as mouthwatering. To drink, I enjoyed a refreshing sangria, while he sipped on a perfectly crafted margarita. The vibe was unbeatable, especially sitting outside on the 2nd floor with the cool breeze and bachata music playing all night long. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Whether you're in the mood for some Mexican & Latin fare or just want to enjoy a lively brunch or happy hour, Bar Rita is the spot to be.

Yelp
Very solid! This is the second time I've come and I've enjoyed it. Though I didn't like the smothered burrito (definitely too wet), I got the chicken tacos and salad (as an alternative) and it was great! Because we were here for brunch, I tried the Brunch Margaritas and they were good. The staff was accommodating. The service was enjoyable. They had a range of music playing and it was a little vibe. We'll definitely be back when I'm back in the area.

Yelp
Went to Tap42 and it was dead, so we walked around to the rear and went into Bar Rita for the first time and so glad we did. They have a separate kitchen and menu from Tap42. The bottom floor was open so we sat at the beautiful bar. We ordered truffle street corn guac & chips as an appetizer which was amazing. Got the shrimp and lamb soft tacos another amazing meal. Will return on Taco Tuesday and ask for our bartender Marcos. We took the colorful stairs to the top floor with an open view of the Ft Laud skyline. No craft beers here, but go to the Tap42 side if needed. Just an incredible eating experience. Highly recommend this location.

Yelp
Came here on National Margarita Day, and it was super busy! Not necessarily their fault but my boyfriend and I couldn't find parking for about 20 minutes. We ended up just parking on the street. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait, which was great! When we got seated outside our waitress said she'd be right with us but never came back. The people who got seated next to us got their drinks taken before us even though they got there 10 minutes after us. Eventually another waitress came by and asked if we ordered these drinks she was holding but I told her no one took our order yet, she was very nice and took our orders for us and apologized for the confusion. The original waitress came back after we got our food and apologized for the confusion & gave us a complimentary dessert, which was super sweet! My food was ok but I feel like the portions were small. The drinks were good though and the tres leches. It seems like a fun place & the staff was nice, I was just pretty upset with waiting. I'll try it out again though!

Yelp
Recently came for a friends birthday as a recommendation from one of our other friends. There was 12 of us and we had a nice table that fit everyone. The restaurant itself was pretty dead but the service was still really slow. We got a couple margarita pitchers for the table but they pretty much had no alcohol and just tasted like sour mix, we did not order a second round. We quietly let the sever know it was our friends birthday at one point but she was very loud trying to ask us what dessert he wanted and he wound up overhearing and making the decision himself. My boyfriend and I decided to share some nachos and they were pretty tasty but then someone else at the table also ordered the same nachos and theirs came out twice as big? It was pretty confusing on why we paid the same price for two different sized plates. My bf and one of my friends got the waygu tacos and they were so overcooked that it was black and inedible. A few of us finished our food but over 1/2 the table hadn't (some hadn't even GOTTEN their food yet) and the waiter walked up behind us with the desert, and proceeded to say "well you going to sing?" It was so weird and confusing on why the dessert was brought out (and addressed that way) before the main course was even finished? I mean the birthday guy hadn't even eaten yet ?? We wound up asking for our checks after dinner and it took almost 40 minutes to get them. Meanwhile, we could see here chatting with coworkers and dancing behind the bar. The whole group pretty much said we would not be coming back.

Yelp
Bar Rita is located in Fort Lauderdale not to far from, the airport . It has an indoor and outdoor seating and they also have a rooftop . We were a party of 30 people so we'd were sitting outside . It was hot but there were fans around to help keep us somewhat cool. We had two servers which helped with the menu . They have an extensive menu with a lot of options. I decided to get the huevos rancheros. I don't really care for sunny side up eggs but it was okay . The food was alright but the music was amazing and the people that had drinks said they were really good . I would recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere with great drinks and great music.

Annie L.

Yelp
If you're looking for a chill spot to grab some drinks this spot is decent. They played music and the passion fruit margarita is good. As for the food, the menu is limited and it was just ok to me. I would honestly just come back for the atmosphere and drinks. Ohh and the service wasn't bad.

Jozsi N.

Yelp
We came here for a friend's birthday as a group of 12. It was taco Tuesday, but the place was relatively slow. We were sat upstairs and they had a live dj, which was nice. Unfortunately, that is kind of where the positives end. When the server came around for our drinks, we informed her it was our friends birthday. A few of the couples at the table opted for the margarita pitcher, which ended up being some of the weakest margaritas we have had. It seemed like mostly mixer. When the server came back around to take our food order, she was very loud about asking what desert the birthday boy wanted so after it ended up catching his attention we just had him make decision, which I know its not a surprise that he was going to get something but we clearly didn't want him to know. My girlfriend and I order the nachos to share as a few friends said they were huge, however, when our nachos came out they were not nearly as large as they normal are, however, another group at the table order nachos and they did get a much large plate of nachos, which is kind of surprising how inconsistent it was. We ended up ordering two individual tacos from the taco Tuesday as well to try. I got the Wagyu, and it was meant to come our crispy, but it was so burnt all you could taste was the charred tortilla shell. The fish talk was okay. At this time a few people had finished their food, but the birthday person was still waiting for his entrée, the waiter walked up behind the table with the desert, and proceeded to go, are you going to sing to our group. Since it caught us off guard, we sang, but why would you bring out desert before everyone gets their entrée, especially the birthday person? Shortly after his main meal came out so we ended up sharing the desert around the table. At this point, it was getting late, and one of the guests needed to get home, so she asked for her check. A few other people also then asked for their checks. About 25 min passed, and the waiter came back up with more desert for the table when we clearly were ready to leave. At this time, the rest of the table also requested our checks. The waiter left and proceeded to go back behind the bar and talk with a few guests there. Another 20 min passed before she eventually started printing our checks. Meanwhile, we could see here chatting with other guests and dancing behind the bar. It should not take 45 min. to get a check and cash out under any circumstance. Unfortunately, since we were a larger group, the tip was automatically added to our bill, so I am also not sure if this led to the poor service we received. Either way, we all left very disappointed in the service we experienced here. Hopefully, they can resolve this, and maybe I will give it another try.

Andre S.

Yelp
Literally 0/3 at this spot and it's weird because I like Tap 42. The first time I came here there was a 2 hour wait although I could clearly see multiple tables available. The second time I came the food was subpar at best. Fast forward to yesterday... not sure about our server's attention span. We had a few orders that weren't consistent with the brunch menu and I swear we threw her for a loop. I think I'm done with Bar Rita... I'll certainly continue to go to Tap but I think this was an after thought for the brothers.

Christina M.

Yelp
The tacos here are some of my favorite in Fort Lauderdale. The happy hour is great. Service was really nice and they have outdoor seating.

Ashley R.

Yelp
I would never dine here again. Went for a meetup group for ladies. We were a group of about 10 and we met up at the tables outside for a Saturday brunch. I do believe the server did her best but this entire experience was disappointing. My "mimosa" was flat (absolutely no bubbles) and was served to me in a highball glass. How embarrassing on their part. And the nerve to ask if I wanted unlimited, no thanks. Others ordered drinks and all were somewhat disappointed. The girl next to me ordered a margarita flight and didn't even finish it due to taste. The presentation was nice though. Speaking on the girl next to me, she had a hair in her salad. When she brought to the attention of the server, no apology, no offers to replace, she just grabbed the plate and left. Other gripes, my tacos were about as good as a Taco Bell taco. Didn't finish them. 2 others ordered wings and they both absolutely hated them. One girl ordered avocado toast and enjoyed it. Overall this place is a dressed up fast casual restaurant with a lovely ambiance and terrible food. I was especially surprised at how many people kept coming throughout the time I was there. I thought, what is it about this place that people like? The outside area was ok, kinda cool and spacious for people with kids but the service, food and drinks here is like visiting an Applebees or Chili's.

Tina Y.

Yelp
We sat outside upstairs bar, was excited for new experience, ordered pitcher of margarita. They were bit sweet not sure its worth 45$. Ambiance is great but the staff was nowhere to be found, was not attentive treated like he did not want to serve our table. We left to other local bar afterwards

Amanda A.

Yelp
Came in while killing time before heading to the airport. Saturdays are bottomless mimosas - FYI! Gotta love FL for that :) The server, possibly Gabbi, was incredible!!! She really made this experience a good one for just grabbing some drinks and snacks before a really long trip home. I ordered the Local Margarita, so fresh and perfect. The Rum & Coke was also very good. We did not love the corn guacamole, but thats just personal preference. I found it a bit salty and with too much cheese. I wanted to order the nachos for like a dollar more and really wish we did that instead. Overall, when back in FL, I look forward to returning for those nachos. I did see the enchilada and that baby was HUGE! This place has all the insta-worthy spots, including a very cool thing going on when you go upstairs. The walls are all black with neon paintings, kind of like caribbean feel, and black lights (the purple ones) to make it extra cool! theres a spot to sit down for photos too, very nice touch. Did I mention the upstairs? Faux grass and tall tables with stools. Open air and big ass fans on the ceiling. I tried upstairs but the incoming storm pushed me back downstairs, still outside and still very pretty to be in the presence of this restaurant.

Alexis J.

Yelp
Went here on a layover from FLL. It was a solid spot. We sat on the upper balcony, where it was really dimly lit, but still enjoyable. We enjoyed our margaritas, but it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Diana E.

Yelp
This is my go to spot for tacos and fajitas. There are taco Tuesday's specials for both tacos and drinks. The pitchers are very humbling, to say the least, so sip slow. There are indoor and outdoor seating. There is a lawn area with picnic tables and lawn chairs for a laidback atmosphere. Some nights, there is a live dj which is fun. The brunch menu and atmosphere is also great. Reservations are definitely recommended or else the wait time can be a little daunting.

Monique T.

Yelp
We have been waiting 30mins for a table & the restaurant isn't even busy. We checked in with the hostess, stated they were cleaning/looking for an open table upstairs. When we went to check the roof top there were plenty of tables available. In the almost 40mins we waited I had to call over the bar tender, had 1 drink the Spicy watermelon marg. Which was yummy, the bartender was quick with the drink and a round of 4 shots. The hostess didn't check on us until she overheard us stating we were leaving. Then asked if we wanted to keep waiting. At 40+ mins of waiting we decided to leave. The atmosphere was great! Music was great! Decor was on point. Waitresses need to take a little bit more time on their appearance. Not sure if we will attend again.

Danielle S.

Yelp
Typical Tex mex not authentic Mexican food if that's what you're looking for. It was decent for the price. The ambiance is OK for during the day. Expected a little more fun.

Cynthia R.

Yelp
The food and service were great. They have happy hour from 9-11 which worked out perfect. We had margaritas and appetizers which were all very good. We sat outside because the weather was nice but inside looked nice also. They also have a lot up rooftop area that we saw when driving up but didn't go to. Will probably check it out next time.

Priscila X.

Yelp
What a pleasant ambiance. Not just to go with friends but with family too. The food was very well seasoned, a little spicy for me but I expected it as it was Mexican food. The service was very attentive and the food came quickly. I found the prices appropriate for the portion and flavor.

Anjanie C.

Yelp
I started coming to Bar Rita since they first opened and had a Ladies drink free Ladies Night! They have added new food and drinks over the years and you won't be disappointed with anything you choose! My favorite are the variety of guacamole offerings and margaritas! They have happy hour 3:30-6:30 Monday-Friday with $3 off guac and apps and $6 margaritas. They also have pitchers for $30 if you have a party of 3-4 you should get 2 drinks each! My favorite thing about this restaurant is the vibe. Fun and bright, the staircase is made for photos and videos and the bars up and downstairs are gorgeous. Bathroom is also great for selfies with beautiful tile.

Maya R.

Yelp
Went with the Wagyu Beef Birria tacos and they were super tasty! Portion size seemed a bit small for the price (near $20), but I will say the taste made up for it. Super good. Also tried the frozen strawberry margarita, that was a no. Didn't taste very strawberry and there was an after taste. Want to try something else on the brunch menu next time for sure!

Irena C.

Yelp
Definitely worth 5 stars for my first time there! Went during a lunch break with coworkers, we were a big group and got seated right away. It was really nice out so we sat outside, great table with lots of fresh air! We ordered a couple apps to start. I highly recommend the Truffle Corn Guac. Oh. My. Goodness that was GOOOOOOD. So good that now I crave it randomly. The next app we got was the Carne Asada Fries. Delicious. 10/10 for food. I ordered the Shrimp Cesar, I know, what am I doing ordering a salad from a place with awesome tacos. But I really really enjoyed the salad. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. And the garnish was so good. The rest of the crew got the tacos for Taco Tuesday special and they were AMAZING. Everyone enjoyed the tacos. Full of flavor and great portions! Service was awesome too. Our waitress was really attentive and she was understanding of splitting checks and that we were on a time crunch. Overall great experience. Definitely going back!

Melina S.

Yelp
Tried this spot out for Taco Tuesday. They had some taco & margarita specials which was great. My favorite part was all the margarita options they had along with the amazing margarita flight. The bartender was super fun & the margaritas were all so unique and delicious. The food came out super quick which was a plus. It's also a great place for a quick drink or bite after work. You can also watch the sunset when the upstairs is open.

Abigail P.

Yelp
Bar Rita isn't what it used to be! Guaranteed fun on a Sunday with the Dj on the rooftop for sure. The breakfast margaritas were lacking alcohol- we tasted just orange juice. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos with Mexican rice and black beans. I enjoyed the tacos, the chipotle sauce was so spicy but not unbeatable to eat. My friend order the steak and eggs and the steak was burnt! Our waitress was all over and seemed as if she was attending to all of the birthday tables on the rooftop. It was very hard to get a hold of her.

Phillip H.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere and vibe of this establishment. The food and drinks were amazing. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. It's a great place to enjoy amazing music and tasty food for Saturday or Sunday Brunch.

Carol M.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday night with two girlfriends. Plenty of seating. I had to ask the manager to bring us drinks since the server forgot we entered... Food took FOREVER No one came to check on us, actually no one came by we had to keep looking to see where staff hiding. Very disappointing

Kristina K.

Yelp
Only giving 4 & 5 because service wasn't that great. Downstairs didn't say anything to us for over 3 minutes so we came upstairs and they told us it's hosting seating only lol ok then. But onto the fun stuff. The food. My god. Worth the wait for it. Absolutely best carne asada fries ever, this chipotle ranch sauce is FIRE and the carne is the most tender I've ever ate. My best friend has said about 100 time these are the best nachos she's ever had. Sheesh. We are gonna need wheelchairs to get to the car after this.

Heaven H.

Yelp
Stopped into Bar Rita a couple of weeks ago for drinks and appetizers. It was a Saturday afternoon so definitely not too busy. We opted to sit at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks and the steak and chorizo dip. This came with complimentary chips and salsa which was pretty solid. The queso was very delicious and it came with fresh tortillas which were soft, fluffy and warm. Our bartender also gave us a free guacamole and chips as they had made too much, and it was very appreciated! The overall vibe was pretty laid back but I imagine it gets quite busy during peak hours. We definitely enjoyed Bar Rita as an Americanized Mexican restaurant. We would definitely return for margs and small bites but would probably skip a full meal here.

Robert N.

Yelp
Bar Rita is huge and has a couple of different options for seating. The upstairs patio is where we chose to hang out on our visit. It was busy, but not uncomfortable since there is enough space between tables. The food was very good and since it was Taco Tuesday we were able to buy tacos a la cart allowing us to try all of the menu options. Our favorite was the king pow duck tacos. The service however was not good. Our server was great, but the restaurant/bar was criminally understaffed. We watched our server cover almost the entire patio, and bartend all on her own. Which meant that nothing was quick. Everything was on the higher end of reasonably priced, and some happy hour specials helped as well. TL:DR - be prepared to wait for service due to being understaffed, but rewarded with good food.

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Service: 10/10 Food: Shrimp Taco 10/10 Lamb chop cheesesteak 5/10 Drink: Pineapple juice 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Party of 3 Occasion: Taco Tuesday (All tacos are $3.99) and Birthday Celebration Parking: Valet: $5.00 or off street parking It took our server Maya about five minutes to greet our table. She went over menu items and did not leave without answering all of our questions. I wanted a virgin pina colada but she told me they didn't have any and suggested the virgin Pineapple Express which was very refreshing. I ordered the shrimp taco which was seasoned to perfection. However the chef dropped the container of salt in the the lamb chop taco. It was definitely overly seasoned. My friend order the chicken taco which was great. However, the mahi taco was too spicy. Maya did warn that the mahi taco was spicy. Overall, great Taco Tuesday spot.. great music, and great service. THANK YOU MAYA!

Ryan O.

Yelp
Over priced and food was not good I mean we waited on the water. Gor 15 'min and the food was not how ppl explained Don't think I'll be coming back

Natalia F.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely amazing! Definitely worth the wait when they are busy! The girls all come for Sunday , where they have an amazing brunch. I always get taken care of by Kaylee and Marcos. she's an AMAZING bartender. they have amazing recommendations, super friendly and quick, and i loved all the drinks she made me. On top of that , Kaylee connected extremely well with my friends and it was there first time there! Thank you for the amazing experience and i will be back !

Nick K.

Yelp
Be aware! Sunday at 3:40pm, club volume music and drunks! Smoking, dancing in the parking lot. Not a family atmosphere. Been coming here for years, something has changed.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Second time here , I had a wagyu Birria tacos and honestly I wasn't a big fan but it's a little burnt to be honest with you and the sauce for virucide tasted like the ones off. Like that have the shrimp salad which was good. We sat on the second floor play music outside. It was a vibe by staff is attentive and friendly

Patricia G.

Yelp
I'm going to be honest....I only have pictures of the appetizer because after having it, I couldn't think of anything else other than that because of how insanely delicious it is. That appetizer is the truffle street corn guacamole. Its the PERFECT dish. Ive sent at least 10 people here to try it and not one person has stated otherwise. I can never have regular guacamole again. The guac sold so well they put it on the menu of their brother restaurant, Tap42. So you can even go there and get it! I always get the mahi mahi tacos with rice and beans and its fabulous, but nothing measures up to the guac. The rice can be pretty inconsistent here. Sometimes its cooked perfectly and other times it's really hard. I always get the Mexican old fashioned as well. It's a tasty spin on a regular old fashioned. Even including espresso on the rim! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as rooftop bar and seating. So you can come here in a large group or intimate party. Reservations are able to be made online ahead of time, which is a good idea on weekends and late nights towards the end of the week. Fast and friendly service as well.

Marie D.

Yelp
I made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday night. We arrived around 6:30 and were greeted by friendly staffers who quickly seated us. The Inside is not as large as the outside. I mean they have way more seating outside & upper patio. The atmosphere is cool, good music, friendly waitress, so far so good. We started with regular margaritas, no fancy glasses here and lots of ice. My drink was a vodka & juice was a bit stronger. Onto the food we ordered for appetizers , the chorizo & steak with melted cheese. This was very good along with tortillas. We also ordered the guacamole also very tasty too, so was the salsa. I ordered the wagu brisket tacos, rice & beans. My tortillas were over grilled & tasted burnt. The waitress was very very attentive and noticed I wasn't happy so she and the manager brought over two new tacos which I appreciated them doing. The taco meat was very tender & cheesy. My husband had the big burrito except said it lacked meat but was filled with everything else. My friends ordered other chicken tacos , she said lacked seasoning but mine had plenty of seasoning. I gave them four stars for ambiance, the waitress being so attentive & friendly. On the food situation not the best for us this night but we enjoyed the night & service . Maybe needs another go around.

Yelp
I attended Bar Rita for a solo brunch on my birthday, must I say it was an amazing choice. This is a place for the girls outings, a date with your spouse, or a simple run away from the world and go alone. Let me start with valet: it is $5 (most definitely budget friendly) the young man that was there was very friendly. I offered to pay and park my own car, he refused to take the easy route, he insisted that I use my time to go have food and drinks, he'll do the rest. As I walked in I was greeted by a group of ladies and offered to sit either down stair or upstairs. I sat upstairs by the bar to enjoy the fresh air. This is when I met my bartender Adam S. And must I say he made me feel like I came out with my best friend for brunch! He acknowledged that it was my birthday. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made the best breakfast margaritas. That was my first time having a breakfast margarita but now I'm hooked. Sit with Adam S. On your next solo outing, you won't regret it. Breakfast margaritas are unlimited for $25 from 11am-3pm. While engaging with Adam S. A nice young lady by the name of Sam greeted me and was extremely friendly. This was amazing as most servers only like to engage with customers that they are serving to receive their tips. Ask for Sam as your server. Will I be back: YES INDEED!!!

Yelp
The "WORST' take out. It was a simple order of two items. Crunchy Mahi Mahi platter that was supposed to come with sides. I chose the Mexican rice and beans. It was not included in my order. The fish was over cooked and offered no flavor. The second item was the Rita's Loaded Nachos. Let's call it the "UNLOADED" as it was missing the lettuce, guacamole, Oaxaca, pico and jalapeños. I decided to order from BAR RITA because I was jonesing for Nachos. Needless to say I am utterly disappointed and feel ripped off. What paying customer should have to go back to a restaurant for missing items. Take out orders should be handled with extra care and attention as not to cause additional delays to the patron. Look how these Fish Taco's were just thrown in the container. Lesson learned. I'm sure I'll find better nachos elsewhere.

Yelp
This was my first time eating here. I went for a birthday brunch, and it didn't disappoint. It was the perfect place for a birthday brunch, with great music and food options. My friends ordered bottomless breakfast margs, which I believe the server said were mimosas with triple sec? I can't remember, but I had a taste, and they were so delicious... way better than normal mimosas. Bottomless for $25, and our server brought over a pitcher! Chips and salsa come as an app, and the salsa is super good, very limey, which I love. I ordered the truffle street corn avocado toast, which came on brioche bread with guacamole, truffle crema, chile-lime spice, and sunny side up eggs. Our server told me it wasn't your average avo toast, and she was right! This avo toast was PACKED with flavor. I added some of the hot sauce that comes on the table and it was perfect. My friends got the steak and eggs skillet and breakfast burrito, and gave rave reviews for those as well. We also went up to check out the rooftop bar after eating, and there was a live dj and lots of people... amazing vibes! I'm gonna have to come back soon for dinner, because I was really eyeing those birria tacos.

Yelp
Great experience for our party of 26 ladies night out at Bar Rita for friend's bday! Our server, Ami Jasmine, could not have been more helpful! We got the Ritas signature app package and food was plentiful and well presented. Would have been helpful if the different items were marked with what they were since it was a bit hard to tell some of the dishes. Our group arranged for our party to be held on the rooftop which was a great semi private space and we had easy access to the adjacent bar. Margaritas and sangria were delish! Get casual atmosphere to mix and mingle at a great price point!

Yelp
Good food, great drinks, decent prices. Ambiance is eclectic and always a good time. There is an abundance of seating, and the patio is my favorite place to sit. The service is okay, sometimes the drinks can be slow. Overall a good time!

Yelp
My first time here and the experience was poor. I was here with a group of about 15. There was barely any other people there. The service was slow and the food came out cold. Not to mention someone ordered an appetizer that didn't come out until all the entrees were brought to the table. We couldn't understand why there was only two buckets (OJ and champagne) for 15 people place on one side of the table. Someone in our party had to request another bucket to accommodate the other side of our table and kept having to ask for champagne bottles. Our brunch host had to keep getting up to clean the table, look for drinking glasses and napkins, and to find the waiter. We waited longer than necessary for the food. They seemed to want all dishes out at the same time at the sacrifice of the food being served cold. Disappointed in this experience but we did our best to not allow this to ruin our gathering for a pre Christmas brunch.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this so much! Definitely make a reservation especially for weekends because it gets pretty busy. We sat upstairs on the rooftop and it was super nice with great music.

Yelp
Attended Sunday brunch here the day after my son's wedding on 5/26. We made reservations for 70, so we had the outdoor space to ourselves. The wait staff were great! They were juggling tables & keeping track of people straggling in. The food was delicious! The prices seemed a bit high, but the potions were generous. Tres Leches French Toast, Breakfast Tacos, Truffle Corn Avocado Toast & Huevos Rancheros were all raved about. Will definitely go back!

Yelp
My bestie's bday falls on Christmas weekend (dec 22nd) she was calling all around for a brunch reservation and it was quite the hassle... for a few different places I might add.. but Bar Rita made the process VERY simple. Just a quick online reservation and we got the rooftop for 15 ppl. Anyway... The food was delicious! The mimosas were bottomless and the waitress was on it! I should've gotten her name but she made sure we had our champagne & orange juice! I got the Baja shrimp tacos and NO PICS we had so much fun and they didn't even have the live Dj this time. We almost preferred it that way. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I want to give Amy a 5 star review for service and energy. She was very attentive and took great care of us for my friends birthday. I will definitely recommend my friends and to ask for her. Love the place and energy !!

Yelp
Super heavy handed with the salt on both servings - 2 people. Mentioned to server who said she'd Mentone it to the manager; no acknowledgement or adjustment made. Drinks way overpriced.
