Bar Le Bièvre is one of the more charming, unassuming, and friendliest bars I've encountered. Walking into Le Bièvre is like walking into the the set of a TV show with such interesting people, characters, and set.
Margot, the manager and matriarch, will usually greet you and give you an impromptu tour of the bar, introduce you to the patrons, and welcome you to the family. She makes the most amazing homemade salsa and makes you feel welcome.
There's live music pretty regularly in the evenings. You should keep an eye out for Margot's son, who is a hidden talent himself on the electric guitar. Talk to a patron - everyone you meet are friendly regulars, old and young, who keep it real and seem to have an interesting story. It's not a rowdy place, but you'll come out a more fulfilled person.
