Bar Sathorn

I love love love this place! Firstly, a quality bar open before 5pm is very hard to find in Bangkok! Secondly, out of all the bars I visited in Bangkok, I think this one had the absolute best service 🥹 Thirdly, how cool and creative is the menu! I managed to sample a drink from each section and if I had to pick a favourite it might have to be the Madame Siam (I am partial to variations of a spicy marg). I did love the signature drink though 🍅 and I love the extra touches involved in the Rice Blossom 💜 I so wanted to come back again and sample some food but unfortunately I ran out of time. I’d return here on my next visit to Bangkok for sure! AUD75 for three cocktails, which is exceptionally reasonable given how amazing they were 🏆

Had a great night at the Bar Sathorn. In the historic House of Sathorn, the bar retains lots of charming decorative features - dark wood work, stained glass windows. All of the signature cocktails we tried were strong but with well-balanced flavor profiles. The seasonal Sathorntini utilizes ingredients grown on the grounds and is the ideal version of an Appletini. Rather than being overly sweet, it has a fresh apple taste and a nice herbal counter note. The staff are super friendly, which adds a fun atmosphere to what looks at first glance like a very traditional, buttoned-up bar. They were able to make some great drink recommendations. Would highly recommend a visit.

After an amazing dinner at Paii, we went for a one last night cap, ended up having 5:) Great drink menu with stories about sathorn and it's history. The cozy colonial feel remains with a touch of fun purple light and modern decoration and the atmosphere was full of taste. The DJ was great to read the room for both quiet ambience or fun exciting vibes. His music selection was completely in my taste. Bartenders were masters of their job. Efficient, on point, and they know everything about their cocktails. I had L&L martinis which were absolutely delicious. My partner ordered a non alcoholic drink and that was also masterfully made. The lovely staff, Cat, Yaya and Didi were like a little family with a lot of fun positive energy. I totally recommend this place for any occasion.

Thought it was just okay. Sat at the bar and had no interaction with the bar staff - they kind of ignored we were there. One of the drinks we got was good - however I got one with coconut milk, which split after a while which made it really unappetizing and unpleasant to drink.

Through the gate the mansion looks amazing. The staff welcomed me and I took a seat at the bar. The menu is clever. At the top of each page is a little history then followed by recommended cocktails and light food inspired by the story. The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere was cozy even though I was solo.

The afternoon tea here is really delicious and Amazing! Creative desserts are so beautiful and yummy! Also, the staff is so kind and sweet🥹 Especially Dee Dee! She took cute photos for us and introduced the meal with patient~ Thank you na is😍

Was a great experience sipping great cocktails in a nice ambience along with amazing staffs who made my evening perfect. Ploy, the senior bartender was amazing at what she’s doing. 10/10!
