This place is amazing! I sat at the bar and the vibes were immaculate, thank you Bret and Summer! Very chill and comfy. I started off with the calamari and it was was so delicious, squeeze the lime and mix it all up! YOU HAVE TO! I also had the suki yaki which was also fantastic and made me do a little happy wiggle. Brett recommended the savory donut to dip in the soup and it was an absolute game changer! As for drinks, I had the house old fashioned(Thai tea and coconut) and their twist on a green tea shot! I never want to have a green tea shot any other way! Food is my love language and I’m pretty sure Bar sen just asked me to marry it???? 10/10 recommend and will be back!

Great service, food, and drinks. Started the night off with a cider and a cocktail and both were very well made. Had a few appetizers and would recommend the fried chicken and cucumber salad the most out of what we had. Next, I had the sukiyaki with some chili oil. The pork in the soup was super tender and the accompaniments were excellent. Lastly, we had the pandan cinnamon roll which was just absolutely incredible. Also, 10/10 ambiance.

We've been here more than 5 times since they’ve opened, and each time is just as amazing as the first. The Kaho Piek noodles are insanely incredible! And the pandan cinnamon roll? It’s not just the best dessert I’ve ever had—it’s the reason I believe in dessert as a concept. 10/10, would eat myself into a food coma again.

tl;dr If you love the noodle specials at MaDer, come and get them every day alongside some great drinks, good atmosphere and friendly crew. The sequel we've all been waiting for! Chef Jeff and his crew have knocked it out of the park again with this Noodle-y rendition. There's something for every palate from a more traditional chicken noodle soup to curry and roasted pork. The space gives off a refined, moody feel with low lighting and good jams. A seated waiting area complete with childhood photos of friends and family is a great spot to catch a drink while waiting for a table. The appetizers contribute nicely with a flavor-packed cucumber salad, fried chicken (must get) and calamari. They are a great addition to any ticket. Drinks are nicely crafted and compliment the menu nicely. For dessert, the pandan cinnamon roll is a must try. It's everything a cinnamon roll should be and then taken to the next level by incorporating the staple regional flavor of pandan. If you're in the mood for noodles of a different variety, you won't want to miss it.

Bar Sen is an absolute gem in the Plaza District! Chef Jeff (from next door at Ma Der) has knocked it out of the park again. He has such a great sense for flavors that work well together - everything we tried was amazing. Highly recommend the 2-piece leg & thigh fried chicken. And do NOT miss the Pandan Cinnamon Roll. It’s unique and unbelievably good. The cocktails are super creative. I was blown away by their version of a margarita with a hint of green curry - sounds weird, but it was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. The vibe inside is dark and chill - great for a date night or a relaxing night out. Staff was really friendly and attentive, and prices were a solid value for what you get. Bar Sen is definitely one of the best new spots in OKC. I will definitely be back often!

Bar Sen is an absolute vibe. Sitting right next to Ma Der Lao Kitchen, it’s the perfect spot for incredible drinks, amazing food, and a cool, laid-back atmosphere. The cocktails were a hit with our group. The Bramble was a must-try, and even in January, the frozen Southeast Side was fantastic. The mezcal shot with a broth chaser was a unique and unforgettable experience. The food was just as impressive. The chicken was so good that we immediately realized—everyone needs their own piece, or there will be regrets. The calamari was another favorite, and we didn’t leave a single drop of jaew sauce on the plate. The Suki Yaki noodle soup was next-level. I’ve had all the noodle specials at Ma Der, but this one was new to me—and it might be my new favorite. The broth was so rich and flavorful, perfect to sip before mixing everything together. To top it all off, the pandan cinnamon roll was outstanding. Just the right amount of sweetness to finish the meal. Bar Sen isn’t just a bar—it’s an experience. Whether you’re there for drinks, food, or both, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!

I think this may be my new favorite spot in OKC. We went in on their first official opening day and I was not, in the least, at all, disappointed! You walk in and you’re transported to a cool, moody, modern bar and restaurant. The back bar as well as the bar top is beautiful, the decorations are well thought out, and the low wooden beams add to the atmosphere. If you come here for anything, please try their lao chicken noodle soup and pandan cinnamon roll. No regrets. Also, kosher service. 10/10 👌 Everything we got was so good but my favorite takeaway was that the noodle dishes reminded me and my boyfriend of our own asian roots. Gave us flavor nostalgia and a feeling of warm, homey, comfiness. You will be missing out if you don’t try their creations at least once. I am so happy for the team and owner to create yet another wonderful restaurant for the community of OKC. I almost can’t believe I’m not in New York when I’m dining in here! The hard work and dedication is noticed and well-appreciated.

2pc Leg & Thigh is a must order appetizer, the crispy goodness crackles as the rich, savory aroma fills the air. For main dish, we got the spicy pork noodle and the suki yaki, I like flat wide noodles, so I really enjoyed spicy pork noodles, but suki yaki was good as well, just fell a bit short in quantity considering the price. Overall, great experience, we had to wait an hour because the restaurant does not have an online waitlist, but I have to say, the chicken made it worthwhile.
