Bar Suehiro

Great spot, located in the back of the restaurant Suehiro. Cute lighting, small bar area, nice tables with hard-working bartenders. Huy especially was an excellent host, and took great care of us. I was delighted to hear that the bar had green chartreuse, which Huy whipped into the Last Word, my favorite drink of all time. Loved the whole experience and will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful hidden space, reminds me of the downtown LA speakeasys that I loved visiting when I first started to come to the area. Over 100 thoughtful cocktails with gorgeous balls of ice and imported spirits from Japan. Great spot for a quiet drink on the way home from work. Best part is that you can order food from Suehiro - their sister restaurant directly connected to the space.

This place was a vibe. Probably one of the best cocktail bars you'll find in downtown LA. Really great cocktails in an unassuming space. Huy and his crew took care of me.

Such a forward-thinking, spirit-forward bar. Huy and co know their stuff, front to back, on a premiere focus towards customer service, satisfaction, snd education. A perfect date spot or place to meet at w/ a small group of friends.

Awesome little bar in DTLA. Love the cozy vibes, and the bartenders are very attentive. Will definitely be going back!

I have been coming here since i was 20 and i am 46 I love the newish building and the amount of space is great %!!!!!

I'd come back here again and again and again. Thoughtfully crafted drinks menu with good hospitality and welcoming service. The only slight downside is parking is tough since it's downtown LA so only street meters but you already knew that. The Juliet is an amazing cocktail with a sweeter emphasis on the classic martini. Made well and balanced in its approach and flavors. I'll be back soon...almost wanted to gatekeep this spot but they deserve the hype and popularity that I'm sure they'll soon see.

Since opening last summer, this cozy spot has quickly made a name for itself with its carefully curated selection of Japanese whiskey and innovative cocktails. Head bartender Huy clearly puts a lot of care and thought into the menu, crafting drinks that are both unique and balanced. Expect bold yet harmonious flavors featuring Asian ingredients like yuzu, shiso, and pandan, which add depth and intrigue to each cocktail. The attention to detail extends beyond the drinks...small bar snacks, like crunchy Japanese crackers, are available to complement the experience. I highly recommend Bar Suehiro for a chill evening out with a small group of friends (ideally 2 to 4 people). Whether you're a whiskey aficionado or just love a well-made cocktail, it is well worth a visit.
