Every time my family and I are in Paris, a visit to Bar Vendôme at the Ritz is an absolute must. Everything about this place is exceptional from the food to the ambience to the service. We were recently there to celebrate my parents’ anniversary, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. A special thank you to Mehdi, our host for the evening, who made the experience even more delightful than usual. Ritz, we look forward to returning again soon ❤️

We stopped by here for some cocktails and canapés during our visit to Paris !! This is always my go to bar for cocktails after dinner with the value addition of the famous ritz !! The bartender was very knowledgable and chatty and you could say he was experienced The whole setting plus vibe of the place is ideal for a catch up or something personal.

Bar Vendôme is a hidden gem tucked inside the Ritz Paris — elegant, timeless, and effortlessly Parisian. The cocktails and “rose Champagne” are refined, the service is top-notch, and the ambience is pure luxury without being stiff. Perfect spot for an upscale aperitif or a quiet evening drink in the heart of Place Vendôme. Pricey, but worth it for the experience.

An unforgettable afternoon at the Ritz Paris We had the pleasure of enjoying an elegant afternoon at Ritz Paris, and it was truly a feast for the senses. From the very first sip of champagne, we knew we were in for something special. The foie gras pâté was smooth and decadent, the lobster spaghetti perfectly al dente and full of flavor, and the escargots were rich and buttery – a true Parisian classic done right. Each dish was a masterclass in refinement. The ambiance was as exquisite as the food: timeless, luxurious, and effortlessly charming. This wasn’t just a meal – it was an experience we’ll remember for a long time.

We had high expectations in our afternoon tea at the iconic Bar Vendome @ The Ritz, Paris - exquisite atmosphere, top end quality produce and impeccable service. And they delivered in all categories! We had a spectacular afternoon enjoying the food, drinks and marveling at the magnificent decor. We opted for the La formule incontournable plus drinks. The serves were generously large. Highly recommended for those seeking a place to celebrate or just wanting to experience the beauty of the Ritz. We look forward to our next visit when next in Paris.

We used to really love coming here for breakfast!!!!! But they have changed their menu for breakfast entirely, and the new menu is extremely limited (no eggs, no crepes, no waffles etc) Recently had an abysmal experience, while the staff was really great, the food we ordered from the limited breakfast menu was just sad…..(Sweet boulangerie we ordered smelled like onions) We had prepaid as well so we had no option but to let our money go to waste.

I’d do it again. You pay for the place. Food was good. Service great. Expensive if on a budget. I’d say leave it for a special occasion, but there are so many amazing places in Paris!

Bar Vendôme at the Ritz Paris offers a truly exquisite experience in one of the most iconic settings in the city. Situated on Place Vendôme, the entrance and lobby of the Ritz immediately convey elegance and timeless luxury. The bar itself is beautifully designed, providing a cozy yet exclusive atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming. The staff are accomplished, attentive, and professional, enhancing the overall experience. I have had the pleasure of visiting on and off for the past 15 years, and it consistently delivers a memorable experience. The cocktails are enjoyable—while perhaps not the absolute best I’ve had, I did not take as much time as I would have liked to explore the full menu as I arrived near closing. Pricing is at the higher end even for the elite Paris hotels, consistent with the prestige of the Ritz, but the overall setting and experience make it worthwhile. Bar Vendôme is a must-visit for anyone seeking an elegant Parisian bar with charm, history, and impeccable service. I will definitely be returning.

Service was amazing. Very welcoming and attentive. The only problem was that the food was lacking in flavor. The restaurant is very cute with a glass roof and glass walls that let in a lot of sunlight and adds to the softness of the atmosphere.

Through my hours of research prior to our trip to Paris, I knew a couple of things for certain. 1.) My husband and I needed at least one night where we could dress up and celebrate our anniversary/30th birthday in a Paris-y charm type of way and 2.) we MUST try the famous Christmas Bûche de Nöel...and it needed to be from Bar Vendôme at the Ritz Carlton (thanks to the Pinterest blogger who totally convinced me that this was the move.) Well, I'm not surprised at all that this experience landed itself 5 stars. If I could, I'd break the Yelp scale by giving it 7 stars. We made our reservations weeks in advance and from the moment we stepped in...we were treated like royalty. They grabbed our winter gear and stored it in the coat closet, sat us in our little private and dimly lit corner of the room, and helped us navigate the French menu. While it was obvious that we were Americans attempting to enjoy the fully French way of living, we had great conversations with the staff about where we should go and returned the favor by sharing must-see spots in the U.S. Our food arrived in the most beautiful presentation. I'm not kidding; think Beauty and the Beast styled cutlery and a chef opening up the serving platter to show you your meal - it was divine. Then, for the grand finale! They bring out the Buche de Noel (that we requested at the same time we booked the reservation), accompanied with a sweet "Bonne Anniversaire" tune playing on the piano in the background. The delicate dessert was presented to the two of us with white gloved hands and a candle on top! I felt like I was living in a movie. Last but not least, if you happen to be in Paris during winter, this is the place for you. In the foyer, there was had a massive Christmas tree that immediately catches your eye. Outside, you'll walk through cobblestone streets of twinkling bright lights and realize you're walking in a winter wonderland. Ahhh...Take me back!!!!

Stumbled across this place because I was trying to get int Bar Hemingway but they were full. I decided to sit outside on the covered patio. There is a pianist singing a mix of Van Morrison, The Beatles, and other well known covers. The ambiance is quite nice but does not feel stuffy. To drink I had the Balade En Himalaya which tastes like a margarita with a great minty hint to it. The staff all speak English well. Would definitely recommend

Sat at the bar with my wife on our honeymoon. 10/10 service and atmosphere. Would recommend and will return when we can.

The service is impeccable...this is legendary Ritz service. The care and attention to detail is incomparable. The live piano player added a very special touch to a what was a very special dinner for us. We arrived today for a week in Paris at The Ritz to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Our meal was top notch from start to finish, including our waiter going out of his way to bring us the name of the place they source their delicious butter from! Our wine recommendation was spot on. The ambience is a swoon worthy date night dream. The menu is very pricey and our meal was extraordinarily good. Perhaps just shy of 5 stars for me. Bar Vendôme is everything it is known for and worth the visit. What a perfect start to our long dreamed of trip.

Very disappointing. We attempted to to visit the Bar Hemingway our last night in Paris. Unfortunately, it is closed Sun and Mon. (Friends - keep this in mind. And... I know, shame on me for not planning ahead.). Regardless... when we arrived at approx 10PM we were very politely informed that not only was Bar Hemingway closed (my bad), but, also, there were no available seats in Bar Vendome (despite being at only 30%-40% capacity). "We are keeping these available for Ritz guests should they wish for a cocktail." So... Thank you Ritz Paris for a wonderful introduction! (Uggghhhh... sarcasm!). The taskmaster (mistress) at Bar Vendome serves as a VERY MEMORABLE (AND VERY BAD) brand ambassador for the Ritz... at least for us heathen, non-Ritz guests. That said, instead, and not far away, we had delightful cocktails at Le Bar at Four Season George V. I leave this review to stand as a warning to potential Ritz Paris visitors... If you are not a hotel guest, go somewhere else. My greatest hope is that one day Harvard Business School writes a case about how (NOT) to develop your brand, and uses this as is as their lead-in example. Again, thank you Ritz. Gorgeous setting. The courtyard is a beautiful cool and serene spot to enjoy a beautiful artisan cocktail. The truffle cashews are amazing. Easily the worst experience we had in Paris and sadly it was for our 15-year anniversary. The food was over priced and under flavor, the vibe is stuffy and to top it off the service was downright awful. We waited 30+ minutes for a $200 bottle of wine, 30+ to be asked about coffee or dessert and left underwhelmed in every way. There are a million cafes in this incredible town, all have better food, ambiance & service than Vendome.

Delicious food, great service, everything you'd expect from somewhere like The Ritz.
