There are not many places that offer real barbacoa meat in Mexico City. But this place is a MUST try. We came here on the other day and The food was super delicious and big portion. The service was exceptional. The owner was extremely welcoming and super nice. They offer a different variety of items options on their menu. You can order individual item or set menu . Prices are very reasonable. They slowly cook their barbacoa meat in a huge fire pit covered with some kind of leaves and sand. They cooked their meat for at least few hours. We ordered their set menu for 2 people. It was a lot of food. It came with consomé ( soup ) , freshly hand made tortillas , juice, chicharrón (deep fried pork skin ) , avocado slices , some herbs, nopales , queso fresco ( fresh cheese ) , different types of salsas and the famous barbacoa meat. The barbacoa meat was so tender that melts in my mouth. Very tasty. Goes pretty well with their hand made tortillas . The chicharrón was perfectly made , crunchy , not oily . Loved every bites here. Will definitely come back next time when we are in Mexico City!!! Take major credit cards or cash. Open only on Sundays.

El café de olla es riquísimo. La barbacoa es muy suave y de gran sabor. Si piden un taco, sin problema les salen 3, aunque mis favoritas fueron las flautas. Don Renato, el dueño es muy atento y simpático.
