The service at this store is incredible and everyone working there is super helpful and knowledgable. I picked up a Large Green Egg from here and the guys helping me out walked me through exactly what i needed and how to get started smoking my first meats. I have been back since to pick up drip pans, wood, charcoal and dry rubs. Every time i am there i learn something new from the guys. Thanks for all the help and for being so generous! I'm including a few pics of my first beef ribs!

The kind of old school, personal service you never find in big cities anymore. If Hank Hill himself opened a store in LA, I would still go to Armond at BBQ Galore. My wife and I moved into a house in Sherman Oaks that had a brand new, never used outdoor kitchen, but the grill was only half-installed. I was afraid to touch it. Armond personally drove to our house despite the fact it was literally MEMORIAL DAY, got the grill working in ten minutes, and then refused to charge me a dime. That's how you win a customer for life.

Worked with David today. Super friendly guy, not pushy but showed me all the options and directed me in all the right directions. As for what I got: Green Mountain Grill, 4 bags of pellets, a grill brush, and a 4 piece grill set. I would also like to mention I was greeted when I walked in with a friendly smile even though that associate was assisting another client. 6/5 stars!

I came in the store and was greeted by at least 3 nice gentlemen! I simply needed batteries for my husbands grill, which David helped me find. I took a look around, having never been a BBQ store before. Think we might have to try the Green Egg when we need a new grill in the future. Why the 5 Star rating, sincere friendly help, tons of knowledge, and no pressure! I left feeling happy and with my batteries! Thank you!! PS. I mean, I was told” I needed “ batteries to get my grill grillin’ again, I bought those at CVS! 🤪

The barbecue we bought came assembled by the installation crew from this store. There was a piece missing between the gas canister and the barbecue, which caused the gas to leak . The installation crew did not see this did not point out. They actually tested the machine in front of me, but because it was during the day, I did not notice that they left the burners on and close the lid after the installation . we did not see this until the next day when I burned my hand on the cover because it had been on for 24 hours, using up the entire canister of gas. I went back to the store to say there was a rubber O-ring missing from the canister attachment and got told that was not their problem and I had to contact Weber . Zero customer service. As a matter of fact, I was basically not believed by the stores assistant, and told I could not contact the manager. Terrible shopping experience for something quite simple. I could've got at Home Depot.

From our first contact, right through the install and beyond.... everything was perfect! David was a pleasure to have helping us in the store... he is knowledgeable and informed about all things BBQ and more... and provided clear and appropriate answers to all of our questions. The installers came earlier than planned but called prior to make sure we would be home.... and installed / assembled the BBQ quickly and cleaned up everything. What a great and exceptional experience.... Thank you to David and all the others that made our purchase such a joy! Now for using the BBQ... cant wait!

Great customer service, I showed up 1 minute before the closing time and the employee still received me politely and helpfully. I know I would of been mad if someone walks in right before closing lol. Got my pellets to finish my smoke. 5 star service!!!

Only reviewing based on their selection of rubs and the staff. They have a pretty good selection of rubs for all kinds of meats. It's not so overwhelming you can't decide but it has enough variety. On top of it all, the staff is great. Friendly, willing to help, but also not pestering or overbearing. They'll always talk to you about the rub you picked and what they've tried it on and had it on. Great place.

After the assembly and delivery of two faulty grills from our local Ace Hardware, we decided to cut our losses and try again from a company that has BBQ in their name. I called the store and John was extremely helpful; I purchased the grill and set up delivery and assembly from their warehouse team two days later. While their delivery and assembly was significantly more expensive than Ace, John assured me that this is all their team does every day, and we were willing to spend a bit more to ensure that we weren't stuck with yet another unusable grill. Communication was excellent from start to finish - we received texts yesterday confirming our delivery time and a call when they were 25 minutes away. The guys showed up (masks on, of course) with the grill unassembled and put it together in our garage. As it turns out, the issue was not with Ace's assembly, but with a faulty joint connecting the hose to the grill! Unlike Ace, the Barbeques Galore team noticed this immediately and replaced the joint for us. The grill works perfectly, and we're thrilled with the experience we had with Barbeques Galore!

When my outdoor BBQ island needed to get redone The only grill that I wanted to get was a BBQ galore one to replace the Grand Turbo that I had for 15 years. I went in to the store and ended up getting a Turbo Elite Which is one step down from the Grand Turbo. Its still around $2,500 ,the salesman assured me that I was making the right choice. I got the Grill and a refrigerator to replace my old one also. The problem started when everything was installed and first thing I noticed the fridge had no inside lighting,what outdoor fridge would not have light. Second the grill looks amazing but what concerns me is that the writing on the front of the Grill (Turbo Elite)and on top(lighting instructions ) started to come off when I cleaned it with water yes water.I called the store and emailed them pictures and they said tough luck . After spending $3,000 with their company And addressing a serious issue with one of their units I would have hoped to get a better response. I could have bought the same grill or a different brand for the same amount on line but I decided to give my business to a local shop. That's why stores are going out of business because no one listens to their customers any more.

I have never been treated so poorly and treated like a an idiot in my life. Yes I wasn't dressed fancy as I just returned from the beach, however, not a way to treat someone that is about to spend over a thousand dollars in your store. They tried to trick me into obtaining credit without putting the option for the 12 month no interest promotion. The man working there was trying to tell me I need to spend more and more to get the dollar spent over a $1000 BEFORE TAX to get the promotion even though this isn't a true. I just hung up with symphony credit and they confirmed the same thing that it was total cost not before tax like this salesman was trying to trick me into. He was rude as he was helping others while working with me and not willing to help. He mentioned over and over again that he was so afraid of losing his job. Today's date is 8/10/2018. As I walked out of the store, I purchased the same Weber bbq on Amazon with free delivery and expert free installation for Monday. The cover I just bought on Amazon was $30 less than Barbeques galoreaWorst part I had him call managers and they all didn't know their own promotions. Sad. Trying to support local small stores and I get treated like this. Shame on you. Sean, My grand total was greater than $1000 This is what I am trying to say. The sales person tried to tell me the product had to be over $1000. Call the finance company so you can learn about the promotion as well so you don't lose any more business. It's sad that your local community tries to support stores like yours and get treated the way I did.

Called them 3 different times to try and ask if they had what I needed and no one answered. Did not want to waste time driving there if they didn't have a certain part as it's not that close to my house. Finally gave up and drove the 25 minutes to the store only to find that they didn't carry it. Almost an hour of my day wasted because they wouldn't answer the phone and didn't even walk away with what I needed.

I love this store. Brandon is the best dude who always helps me out, super attentive and answers my questions. Sometimes we just chat bbq and get carried way. I come here for my fuel as logs aren't found easily in LA and it's well priced. Love this store and the people who work here!

I went in here on a weekday when no customers were in the store. The sales associate was talking on the phone so I waited patiently. After 10 minutes he got around to greeting me: "I'll be with you soon." I waited another 10 minutes before deciding to take my business elsewhere. When stores like this fail it can't be blamed simply on the Internet but rather poor to nonexistent customer service.

I really wanted to buy our new grill from here, but alas... We went in a few weeks ago and looked at a Weber grill. After looking at the reviews we decided to go back to BBQs Galore to purchase the grill. Unfortunately, they were out of it and would not sell us the floor model. They said they could order it for us, but it would take a couple of weeks. So, in the end they lost out to Amazon....which is a bummer :-(

Great selection! My husband and I are having a bbq built and were looking for a drop in grill. We were directed to their brand, called "Turbo" and were pleased with the selection. My parents have had a Turbo for years so I knew they were trustworthy. We were shown all of the floor models from lowest to highest and then we were shown behind the magic curtain- it felt like Oz! There was a grill on sale from $1399 to $699 all because there were slight scuff marks on top- um hello SOLD! It matters what is inside right folks ;-). Without hesitation we asked about the quality, if there was interior damage and if the warranty was stll in tact- all of it was perfect and the warranty was in full! Great service, great products and I cannot wait to get this set up and working!

GO HERE AND NOWHERE ELSE! Great selection and they will make it happen. My "Egg" cracked (no humpty-dumpty jokes-puhle-e-e-ese) and yes, it took a while but they got it back together again. (okay I couldn't help it). So for me I would have to say that they are the best. They care about you long after you came in and shopped and they know their stuff.

We stopped in a few days after Christmas to purchase something for our fireplace and found that they sell these porcelain fire log kits so you don't need to buy fire wood every year. I calculated that we spent over $500 a year on fire wood and for the same price I could by one of these kits. Aside from the cost saving, it's far more green as you are not burning wood and putting it into the air. Today we had the installers come and put them in, which is the only way to do it, and for an additional $130 for the installation, it's worth it 100%. The guys as BBQ Galore were great help and eager to assist. I highly recommend this store as well as the product we purchased!

Update 5.25.16. I had to update my review of BBQ Galore. I am adding two additional stars for a total of 4. The reason for the update of my review is Henrik the CEO of Barbeques Galore found out what happened and contacted me personally to make it right. We spoke at length and I was able to vent my frustration to him. I'm confident that he will make the necessary changes in personnel so that every customer has an amazing experience at every Barbeques Galore Store.

This negative review is about this companies customer service/care and lack of parts for their own products. Their home brand signature BBQ's themselves are great. Normally, it takes a lot for me to post a negative review but this company needs to get its act together. I have owned a few of BBQ galore's names brand BBQ's. First I had a captain cook (when they were maroon and black - before they were made all stainless). Loved it. Upgraded all the burners and grills to stainless to last longer. I gave it to my father and it still works beautifully. It's over 20 years old. Now I have a 4 burner Turbo Stainless steel with a back burner on a cart. (Burners and grills updated to stainless) It's only about 8-10 years old and still works just as well as the day it was purchased. The only difference now is that it is all greased up but that just adds flavor (as any good grill master would know). I went into this location (studio city) on Saturday April 16, 2016 to buy a replacement temperature gauge, and replacement wheels for the cart. The salesman informed me that the company does not carry those parts in store and gave me a number to call for parts. He then proceeded to tell me my BBQ was old and seen its day and that I should look into a new one. Feeling annoyed I explained to this person that I wasn't interested in buying a new BBQ and that he was wrong about the BBQ. (He was either trying to build his commission or he really didn't know anything about his companies own BBQ's). BBQ Galore's name brand BBQ's (Captain Cook and Turbo) are very powerful and well made BBQ's. If taken care of and properly maintained, they will last over 20 years. When I was younger, I worked for a company in which I fixed, installed and cleaned BBQ's including BBQ galore's name brand BBQs. I have seen these BBQ's in all stages of life. When I called the corporate number for parts, I was told that they no longer carry any wheels that will fit my BBQ. I asked if they had any other parts for this BBQ out of curiosity. Other than a few universal parts that fit most of their name brand BBQ's there wasn't much else. Between the salesman telling me the bbq needs to be replaced without even seeing it, and the fact this company does not keep parts for expensive items (The BBQ was $2000 new), I had to write this review. I use to really like this company. Their old slogan, "a BBQ store not just an aisle" seems like a joke. They should just call themselves a really big BBQ aisle because a BBQ store who sells their own name brand BBQ's would keep up good customer service and provide repair parts for their in house BBQ's. After all, they offer a repair service. Maybe if I paid for the repair service, all of the sudden they would be able to find my parts. Again, great in house BBQ's, but horrible customer service/care. I'll be going to home depot and I'm sure I will find parts that will work. Thanks for a great BBQ Barbecues Galore, or at least thank you to the engineers that put it together. No Thank you for your lack of customer service and corporate greed.

I went into the sherman oaks store on 12.22.12. I purchased a few items totaling 179.50. The store took 3 weeks to call me. They informed me they no longer carried the product I needed. Then told me my next option would cost more. Then I asked if the order for all my goods had been placed. The man told me no. Then told me before he placed to order I needed to come in and pay for my upgraded grate. Nevermind all the things they did carry, that I PAID for. I thought about it for a few days. I called the store back and asked for a refund, being that it was handled so poorly. The man told me he would refund my money that day (1.24.13). The money has NOT been refunded to my card yet. This is ridiculous!!!!! I have been a loyal customer for 7 years. I purchased my big green egg there and I go out of my way to shop there. The manner in which this has been handled is discussing. I want my money back!! WOW!!! I posted the same message on Facebook and it has been deleted twice. This is truly sad.

I didn't have a very good impression of Barbeques Galore based on a past experience but after shopping at other stores for a drop in barbecue for our new patio, I decided to stop in and see what they had. I was fortunate to be helped by Steve who spent a lot of time with me going over all their options and the pros and cons of each. I ended up buying an incredible (and expensive) barbecue but it is truly great. Steve gave me the knowledge to make the decision. He didn't try to upsell me...just clearly pointed out the options. Steve was incredibly helpful. His follow through was fantastic. The delivery went off without a hitch and the company even followed up the next day to make sure the delivery went well. If you are in the market for a "real" barbecue, Barbecues Galore is the store to shop and Steve is the salesperson to work with.

We spent a fortune here installing a grill in our marble outdoor kitchen. They convinced us to go with them as opposed to some of the bigger brand names. Now its time for a little service visit, and I am happy to pay whatever they want to charge - just want to make sure its done properly by the right people (since they made the grill) and they refuse to help. Say for legal reasons, they cant even send someone that I can pay nor can they recommend someone reputable. I highly advise buying your grill elsewhere. This is the first negative review Ive ever posted so you can sense the injustice.

I went into the store ready to buy but wanted to get a bit more knowledge about the Weber Grill I was looking for and see if there might be another grill that I might want. The store was empty and had two employees on the floor. I was told to talk to one salesman who was the Weber expert...great I thought.I asked several questions to the salesman, told him I was ready to buy the Weber Grill but then asked about there policy on assembling the grill and delivery. I was told it was $175 ( might have been $165 ) and that was firm. I said that I had been doing my homework and places like Home Depot and Loews and others all assemble for free and free delivery.The salesman said to me.......I am soo tired of people coming in here for my free information and then buying somewhere else !!!! I was shocked that he would say that to me, I would not want this person representing my company. I walked out of the store blown away, have repeated this to several friends and said DO NOT GO TO BBQ GALORE. IN fact i went directly to Loews...bought the grill from an outstanding salesman and decided to take it home then and assemble ourselves. Retail is hard these days so it is all about customer service especially when items like Weber the prices are controlled so all the same.We all have choices where to spend our money.

The first time Yelp has let me down. I drove out here from Echo Park after my most recent breakup (she took the barbeque!) I live in an apartment so I needed a small webber to put on my balcony. This place is on Venture, but the sign is covered by a huge tree...took me three trips by it and a phone call to find it. Once I get in there, I see huge smokers and thousand dollar grills, but no small Webers. I ask the guy and he says that he has ben sold out of those for weeks. I asked him what the smallest grill he had was and he showed me something for $399.00....no thanks. The guy helping me does get the extra start for pointing me in the right direction to get my Weber lil smokie, he said to try OSH and sure enough they had 10 of them just sitting there. Thats right folks, ORCHID SUPPLY WEARHOUSE had the grill Barbeques Galore didn't...whats wrong with that picture? Should rename store to HUGE BARBEQUES GALORE

A few days after I wrote my review I received FIVE brand new knobs from Turbo and they never contacted me for my credit card information for shipping charges. They shipped them Priority Mail at their expense. It was much appreciated and I therefore raised my review to 3 Stars. In the end they did come through because of my review. Thank you BBQ's Galore and a VERY BIG thank you to Yelp. Always remember Yelp is your friend!

Don't go here. Went to get a grill they said 7 to 10 days. 7weeks later I got my grill. Wanted it delivered to the store, they said no promblem, warehouse said they had to deliver to my address. Called the store 8 times they always said they would call me back. Never called be back once. The reason I am giving them 1 star instead of zero is because the staff was good at showing me what was an o.k. grill, but they will try to push there in store grills on you. Very fustrating experience.

when I purchased my barbeque I was very happy with the customer service I received in the store. Which is why I purchased a second barbeque there several years later. I had NO IDEA that if you needed service after owning their barbeque it would fall so short from the service I received in the store......First of all you have to pay before you receive service. When I asked the salesman why I had to pay up front he said it was because if someone is unhappy with their service they would not be able to not pay.........THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST AND ONLY CLUE NEEDED.........they sent the service man out with only 1 part which was not the parted he needed and he said they won't give them extra parts just in case. You need to set up another service call and wait again. You have to cal over and over again just to get the time frame of the service and it is almost impossible to reach anyone who sets up the service. This whole experience has been so upsetting that I will NEVER purchase anything from Barbeques Galore again.
