I came there on the water badly👎 On the way, seagulls ate half of me and I died 4 times, now I'm walking home in tears 😱💀😭 I attached a photo below of how seagulls ate the house 😏 but I liked it, it was an unforgettable experience 👍 I'll come to you again, but this time with a gun 🙂‍↕️

This small island is very overrated. We pay 390$ per couple for a trip ( with barbuda express company)and the best thing from there was the lobster which was 10$ extra but was very good . The pink beach is not so pink . We saw like a cave but nothing special and another beach which was ok . Overall is not as beautiful as it s said.

Absolutely worth a day trip if you're staying on Antigua. I took the Express ferry, make sure you check the wave forecast before booking the day before - I hear it can make people very seasick. The ocean was like glass when I went and I did not get sick, but two people on my boat did. It was a 2hr trip for me both ways in good weather, website said 90min. I did the Hillside Tour, it was worth it for me because you get access to do Pink Sand beach and Princess Diana beach. I wasn't much interested in seeing the birds or doing the caves, but the bird sanctuary is near Pink Sand and it seemed you could only get there by boat, which was included in the tour. Alternatively, you could take a taxi to the fishing pier and hire a small boat (dinghy) to take you there. The pink sand is seasonal, I went the 2nd week in December and it was very pink and beautiful. Well worth the trip on the ferry. The lagoon that you pass through to get there had sea turtles and manta rays that you can see from the boat. It was mating season for the frigate birds when I went, which was neat because you could see hundreds of the birds displaying for each other right next to you on the mangroves. Princess Diana beach is the most gorgeous beach I've ever seen. Pillowy white sand, perfect sea floor - so soft under your feet. The water was very clear and gentle. Great snorkeling right off of the beach. With the tour, you get maybe 30/45 min here. I would consider if I came again, going to Nobu by taxi from the pier and staying on their beach all day after lunch there. A couple on our ferry did that and really enjoyed it - it's on Princess Diana beach. The island doesn't have many taxis, not many tourists, about 4 restaurants, only a few places to stay. The roads are way rougher than in Antigua, not a lot of signage, and cellular service is minimal.

Recently returned from a sail charter to Antigua and Barbuda, and although the entire trip was fabulous, 5 out of 5, there were highlights, and Uncle Roddy's is the top of the list. Perhaps it was being the only boat in the anchorage, maybe it was the food and drink, or the weather. But undoubtedly the top highlight are the people. This starts with the family, all of whom were amazingly kind, friendly, and genuine. We met Oliver who arranged for his son Chris two set up a day tour of Barbuda, including the Frigate Bird Sanctuary with Solomon (uniquely incredible). I could sit and talk with Chris for hours or days he is so engaging. We danced with Kelcina to the steel drums, and looked at special pictures of the history of Uncle Roddy's with her. Allyson their daughter might just steal the show, so personal and lovely. We wish her well with her pursuits. The staff all follow suit though with their friendliness and attention to detail to get everything right. You were all so impressive. Thank you. Our love to Barbuda going into the future. We look forward to our return visits. The restaurant and the Barbuda Cottages are not to be missed.

If you're planning a trip to Antigua, don't miss out on the opportunity to explore the breathtaking pink sand beaches of Barbuda. The beaches of Barbuda are renowned for their unique pink sand, which is created by the presence of tiny organisms called foraminifera. The pink sand is a sight to behold and a photographer's dream, with texture that sparkles under the sun. The pink sand beach offers crystal-clear waters and unparalleled views of the Caribbean Sea. Make sure to add Barbuda to your itinerary for an unforgettable beach vacation experience.

What an island! Possibly the best beaches I’ve ever visited. Soft white sand and clear blue sea. Diana beach is probably the best on the island. Since hurricane Irma the island was badly hit. But got this reason you should make the effort to do a trip. We did a one day visit from Antigua. Limited tourist infrastructure but there are taxi men at the ferry dock who can them drive you around the island and the beaches and tourist spots.
