Barca Bar + Kitchen

Barca Bar and Kitchen in Varca, near Club Mahindra, offers very good service and excellent seafood preparation. They stock premium spirits, and the prices are moderate. It is a small restaurant, but it is managed very well. The staff are friendly, and it’s a very nice place to relax and enjoy fresh seafood and drinks.

We enjoyed a nice dinner at this small restaurant. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Food was very tasty indeed. We had jumbo prawns which are sold by weight. works out fairly expensive but they were made very tastily. we had some in butter garlic and some tandoori. The butter garlic ones were what I liked most. We ordered some crispy chicken with garlic sauce and were surprised with the huge portion. Had caramel pudding for dessert and 2 cocktails. The restaurant is very conveniently located. Would recommend a visit when in South Goa.

We were here Sunday dinner with Karaoke. Prices are reasonable, service is pretty good, food is fresh and good quality. Overall a very good place for drinks + dinner. The live music is mostly English and very good. Highly recommend this place!

Had an amazing experience at Barca Bar & Kitchen in Margao! The food is truly delicious and full of authentic Goan flavour. The pineapple in tandoor was such a unique dish, the chicken tandoor was perfectly cooked, and the recheado-stuffed mackerel was absolutely mouthwatering. I also loved the Thai squid chilli and the mushroom cheese stuffed starters — both are must-tries! Their Goan thali starting at just ₹250 is totally worth it, and the drinks were super refreshing. Overall, a great place for amazing food and a lovely dining experience. Highly recommend!

Had a great time here. The food we had was really good. The service is great as well, kudos to the team and keep up the great work. Looking forward to another meal here. Benifit: Can bring alcohol from the bar next door and can sit in the restaurant and have it. Great place for a good spot and time.

We visit this restaurant at least a couple of times during our stay in Goa. The food is amazing and so are the staff. I love the prawn goan curry and cheese and garlic naan. On our last night we had the jumbo king prawns and wow they were fantastic. Thank you for always making us feel welcome. See you in 2026.

Amazingg place . Must visit place !! Service was fast and friendly natures staff. Garlic bread , pink sauce pasta and minty mango mojito is must try.

Absolutely brilliant place. The food was great, could only take so many photos because it got over the moment we got it. Service was great, Francis, Sadiq and Jhonan deserve a special mention. The ambience is very nice, and they play some really nice music to vibe to. Overall 10/10, definitely a must visit if you come here, it is just 200m from Sterling Varca in south Goa. You should not miss out on the Pork asad.
