Discovered this spot after dinner while heading back to my place, and it was a nice surprise. It's great for hanging out with friends or just relaxing with a beer and playing games. They have a bunch of old-school arcade games (I loved Super Punch Out and TMNT 4) and pinball machines. I wasn't a fan of having to use tokens for the games, though. On the bright side, they have a wide selection of draft beers at reasonable prices. The bartender was busy, so I didn't feel like waiting around for a second beer. Credit cards accepted.

I Love the Barcade so many things to compliment on the Staff are attentive. The Food and Drinks are so Delicious I ordered a couple of things on my Visit. This place has amazing Energy. So Many awesome Games to Choose from. Great Drink Menu prices. Thanks for the Hospitality Barcade I wish you many years of success.

Games are great; Beer selection is always interesting and printed menus really help. Bartender service is expecting people to be rude, so don’t be. Music is always loud after 5pm. Show up with a few in you and order multiples at once (with cash) and you’ll be fine and don’t forget your ID. Otherwise, other places on the street.

I've been to other Barcade locations and this specific one in Jersey City is fabulous! There's not much to say. If you love a solid beer collection, tons of old school pinball and arcade games, and a casual vibe with great tunes, then swing on by to Barcade! Also a shout-out to the bar staff. Super friendly and attentive!

Barcade is one of the nostalgic place in jersey city area. I loved the 90s theme bar. You will find many arcade games here that can take you right into your childhood. Loved the beer and cocktail collection here. They have amazing food menu order as well. Music is also great to complement the vibe in this place. Friday and Saturday will be busy days in here.

They don’t allow under 21 year olds in, even in the middle of the day. For an arcade bar in a the middle of a residential district with lots of kids and teenagers who’d like to play with the arcade games seems pretty off not to have a weekly time/day (with a cover if needed) for under 21s to come and play.

First time visiting this location, my first time experiencing a Barcade was in North Carolina so it was nice to see that there was another in New Jersey. The place is in the name If you like the bar, you’ll like this place. If you like arcade games old and new, you’ll like this place. Bartenders are very nice and give good energy, the food and drinks are delicious. Will come back to get some more of the menu tried out. Very nice and fun time for a date or night out with the boys / girls.

I am a huge fan of Barcades, especially the concept of combining a cozy bar and arcade gaming center is just perfect. They feature more than a few vintage arcade games like Daytona USA, Pinball, Mortal Combat, pacman, etc. This Barcade has great ambience - there is even some outdoor seating to soak up the summer sun as well. They have good choice of draft beers - feature a few local ones and some nice cocktails. I have been to a few of their locations and the experience is always fun. Recently visited them with a group of friends. We had first tried some good food, went for a bunch of sharable plates like Nachos, Garlic Bread and some Quesadilla. The food was pretty good - served with generous portion sizes at reasonable pricing, the menu was decently vegetarian/vegan friendly and the service was warm. However, found that there could have been a few more vegan/vegetarian friendly options as found in some of their other locations. Recommendations: Food: Bean Quesadilla and Nachos Games: Daytona USA - must try in multiplayer version Pacman and some Pinball too I would highly recommend this place to spend a fun evening with a group of friends having some nice time eating good food, some booze and play some of those classic arcade games.
