Looking for a fun time with a bar AND arcade games? Well, Barcade has several locations in NY and we tried the one on Cortlandt St (Financial District), with two floors woirth of games. They have a full-service bar with a great cocktail menu. We had the Eye of the Liger (tequila, simple syrup & lime juice) and Waingro (bourbon, Faccia Brutto Amaro Gorini, simple syrup, lime juice) both excellent. (They have a pretty decent bar menu too, although we weren't hungry this time around.) Their selection of vintage and newer pinball machines, and video classics like Ms. Pacman and Centipede, and more made it a really fun place to have fun while enjoying a quality cocktail. Tokens are 25 cents each and most games are 2 tokens per play. Highly recommended!

This place is dope, nice elegant bathrooms are clean. The whole overall experience was great so far. This is the best one yet.

Wow this place is HUGE and fun. There are tons of great vintage arcade games (I enjoyed playing old school asteroids in the extra game room on the lower level and shooting ghosts in a projection style 3D game on the main level). Very extensive draft beer list and extremely friendly and attentive bartenders. My only complaint is that the food seems pretty cheap and low end (hot dogs, sloppy joe’s(?), a very lame plate of fake cheese nachos). However there IS food, including vegetarian options, and that’s always a plus at a bar.

I went in yesterday 8/13, and had a cider which was lovely. Picture attached. Went back after work today, 8/14 got ID’d at the door. All good, love Barcade from JC, familiar with their ID policy. Door guy then asked to go through my work backpack, which was odd. After aggressively running his hands through my bag, I was OK man that’s enough, and I just left. I’m not trying to have a Body Cavity Search just so I can order a craft beer. Thanks. Best of luck at the new location!

A+!!! I've been going to adult arcades for a long time, and this is as good as it gets (at least in NYC where you can't buy or lease endless acreage for cheap). It's already the best Barcade location. Pinball and arcade selections are extensive and are a perfect mix of different eras. All the pins were in fantastic playing shape, as were the video games I played. Very spacious, with a ton of table seating, lovely layout, and the theming of the lower level gaming area as a basement is pitch perfect. Staff were courteous and helpful. And clean bathrooms!

Google
This is the best of the Barcade’s, and probably the best arcade in NYC in general. It’s not the largest selection of pinball in the city but their games are in very good condition, there’s an awesome selection and the pricing is better than most. 10/10 recommend, just don’t order a hot dog.

Came in for a work social event and loved it! Nice friendly vibes and enjoyable/ fun arcade area! It's a lot of folks and I appreciate the people at the bar serving for these many at a time. Takes tremendous patience to cater to a large crowd that keeps coming back on rounds :)

I came here with my friend for her work event and I had a great time! I was happy that they also served cocktails since I’m not a beer drinker. The bartender was attentive. Would definitely come back with a bunch of friends to play the games and grab a bite.

Yelp
Great Atmosphere! went with a bunch of friends for one of my friend's BIRTHDAY. I had a Good time. Burgers were the BEST I had in NEW YORK!!! and the tater tots were really good too, music good too. Good service I guess. BUT ONLY thing was that the Arcade games end quick :(

Yelp
Was treated like shit here. Yelled at by the doorman and owner - wouldn't let me in with an expired ID even though it had my birthdate on it, then said I was "rude" when I left because they wouldn't let me in. Avoid these fragile egos and take your money elsewhere.

Yelp
This is a new spot, well the much needed new location in NYC. In the many past ten years or so, I might have popped up at all the local Barcade spots. This one has an interesting set of games , they might not be 200 percent my favorite types of games but still an interesting mix. This one has mostly 80's and 90's games and some are rare or odd games. The pinball section seemed pretty cool, and I liked the two floors here ( I believe this used to be the shoe section of Century 21). My favorite Barcade is the one at St. Marks since it has more fighting games but at this location I will definitely be back. The layout of the place is great and seemed like plenty of bathrooms especially since you had the two floors. More 90's techno music would have been a great edition, like just playing techno here all day. I think more like 90's Europop and techno or German hardcore house music would fit this location just perfectly.

Yelp
Just went here- I think it just opened in the past couple of weeks- soooo good! The food was great- I had nachos and a salad - delicious! Huge beer selection but I'm more of a tequila girl and they had a spicy Paloma that totally hit the spot. Games were fun- some old classics and then some crazy ones I never saw before - Ice cold beer is a good one -they have a weird Japanese Tetris which was cool but I'm hoping they bring in the regular Tetris as that's my all time fave! Oh and a cool Photo Booth- me and my husband took some great pics in there. Anyhoo will def go back - super good spot to hang. And the music was awesome too btw - I heard at least 4 songs that I love but hadnt heard in forever- key to a good playlist! Will be back soon and highly recommend!!!

Yelp
This location has lots of pinball machines and feels much larger than the average barcade.

Yelp
Great spot, large selection of games and beers. The games in excellent condition, particularly the pinball machines. Clean place with friendly staff, highly recommend

Yelp
Truly an abysmal experience, rudest staff I've ever encountered. Go to Clinton hall it's right near by and an upgrade across the board.
