A German Village institution since 1996 where paella, tapas, and a strong wine list meet one of the city’s most beloved patios. Often recommended by local critics for consistent cooking and hospitality.

Google
“American sized” tapas, more like “de talla mediana” (medium sized plates). Portions sizes are quite big compared to what you would expect for a tapas place. But presentation, quality of food, service and ambience are excellent, especially the outdoor patio. We were out there with a group of friends for dinner. My wife and I ordered a bunch of tapas items and by the 6th one we were full, didn’t order the main course anymore. We ordered Sangria and few other cocktails as well - everything was perfect. Our server Brad was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Absolutely loved my birthday lunch at Barcelona. The Bocata sub is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Delicious! We also had some paella, assorted tapas, and desserts, and all were fantastic. On top of all this, the Spanish red wines are stellar.

A Couple Drinks

We visited Barcelona for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We started our evening at the bar with a Bee’s Knees and a Negroni ($26 total). The Bee’s Knees was on the watery side, but considering it’s not a regular offering on their menu, it was a good attempt. The Negroni was well-balanced and enjoyable. Once seated, we began with the Mejillones ($18) and Empanadas ($18). The mussels, unfortunately, lacked excitement. If it weren’t for the linguiça, they would have been forgettable. The empanadas were underwhelming: bland in flavor and pricey for just two pieces. Alongside our starters, we tried the Sicilian cocktail ($16). It delivered exactly what it promised: Amaro, and a lot of it. For our main courses, we ordered the Pechuga de Pato Ahumada ($44) and the Pasta de Langosta ($39). The smoked duck was overpoweringly smoky and unfortunately overcooked. The lobster pasta, on the other hand, was mostly enjoyable - though the lobster was slightly overcooked, the dish overall had good flavor. While we appreciated the vibrant setting and the attentive service, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations for the price point. Would we return? Perhaps, to give it another shot, maybe with different menu choices.

The paella was over cooked and dry and the mussels were chalky, but the shrimp was perfect. It's just underwhelming for the price. The service was good but otherwise I probably wouldn't come back.

Google
New favorite restaurant! I have a gluten allergy and didn’t see much about their gf options before dining here which made me nervous, but our server Nic was so knowledgeable and showed me all of my options on the menu! The patio was gorgeous and the food was incredible. We split the seafood paella and the salmon, both were amazing. The pear sangria topped with cava was the perfect cocktail. We will be back immediately and highly recommend Nic as your server! Their menu and beverage knowledge was excellent and they were so sweet and helpful. Thanks Barcelona for a lovely evening!

We had an amazing time here! Went to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation. Patio had 30-minute wait so we sat indoors which was nice as well. Awesome, courteous service from Sarah. Two higher-ups (One manager and I guess the owner) checked in on us to ensure that we were well taken care of which was sweet. Between two of us and our toddler we ordered the Manchego cheese and patatas brava tapas, a mocktail, a red wine, a chicken raciones dish, verde paella, (and buttered noodles for the kid). The main dishes have generous serving sizes- it can make 2-3 meals with it. Being a birthday celebration, they brought a complimentary chocolate cake with ice cream for us. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely return with our friends and family. Hidden gem in town!

Google
The experience at Barcelona is probably one of the best compared to other restaurants in Columbus, Ohio. The staff were always attentive, with them even filling up a half full, or half empty, glass of water. I loved their attention to detail. They would also grab anything you needed, showing some top notch hospitality. The atmosphere is very nice with a good amount of people and good artwork. The ceiling tiles and the intricate windows add even more to the atmosphere. However, the food was at most average, with much of the food not on par with the prices. Taste was hit or miss for my family, though taste always depends on the person. Overall, I would still recommend this place for anybody coming or living in the Central Ohio area.

Google
Barcelona has a very special place in my heart, and I have fallen in love with this restaurant! I have been coming here for many special occasions over the last few years— dates, anniversary, and birthday. The space is incredibly stunning and the food and drinks are the most delicious, satiating in all of Columbus. I am happy with all they have to offer from friendly and professional staff that remember us as regulars, live music, beautiful art, and a romantic and happy atmosphere. I love to get my friends gift cards here so they can enjoy an evening there. The food I’ve enjoyed are the lamb pop paella, variety of charcuterie boards, peppers and shrimp appetizer, and drinks such as the corpse reviver and red sangria ❤️ Highly recommend Barcelona!

Yelp
The most wonderful experience for our anniversary. Ethan was awesome. Super professional and friendly and thank you for the champagne! It has been years since we've been here and we were reminded after this visit we need to come back more often.

Yelp
Made a reservation to come by for dinner one evening. The drinks were good. I had window seat. Not that strong and not too sweet. Perfect! We shared the verde paella, filete de hierro plane, and the roasted vegetables. Portion sizes seem kinda small ish. Food seemed high quality but I wasn't impressed. Decent. Not the most flavorful. The paella was unique though. It was vegetarian and the beans added a nice texture to it. Staff was nice. He explained the menu and what was popular. My friend comes here all the time and told us to get the empanadas for next time. Really nice setting. It was a bit cold, otherwise it would've been nice to be out in the patio. Seems like a great place for wine. We mostly had cocktails but wine would pair really well with the dishes. We found parking almost a block down. Easy to find parallel spots around here.

Yelp
Looking for traditional Spanish (aka~Spain) cuisine in Columbus, OH., this is by far the location to try. From the greeting to the desert you'll feel like a VIP. The dishes taste as if the chef prepared it just for for you. The cocktails are works of ART! Thank You Ethan! "Beautiful ambiance" would be an understatement to describe the feeling as you sit with your meal. Take a look at the Bar... "Classic". Outside patio dining.... "Cozy". Indoor dining experience... "Breathtaking". You WON'T be disappointed at all. Let me know what you think.

Yelp
My first time here and what an amazing place! They have happy hour at the bar only. And since it was a Friday rest assured there were no seats to be found. Hint: come early The service was good. No complaints at all. They are certainly doing something right since they have been here for a long long time. I am putting Barcelona on my places to return list. Outstanding food and decor.

Yelp
We decided to check out Barcelona on a Friday during the weekend of the Arnold. We ordered a few tapas to share and had some drinks. We had the calamares fritos , coles de bruselas and the patatas bravas. , The waiter recommended the filete de hierro which we got as well. I have to say I loved all of the tapas aside from the filete de hierro, it was quite tough. For drinks my girlfriend had the key lime martini and I had the carajillo. We both loved our drinks. Overall we had a great experience, I wish I remembered our waiters name but he was amazing. We will definitely be back during warmer weather to check out the lovely patio!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun restaurant! Very good ambiance and nice patio for the summer. Tapas were ok - kind of expensive. Dessert was excellent all 4 were good. Would go back to sit on the patio and have dessert
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing as usual. You want top end Spanish cuisine, this is it! Scallops Vieras has to be one of the top dishes in Columbus. I like that it's been on the menu for 25 years. 5* food and menu selection, service, environment, wine list. Any city would be proud to have a restaurant of this quality, and we have it here in Columbus.

Johnie l.

Yelp
Best service we have ever had. Kat blew us away with her knowledge/passion of the food and drinks. Everything came out better than expected. The timing of the food, drinks, and service drop ins should be researched by the national service community. Amazing vibe and exceptional service.

Yelp
All-around excellence. I used to live in German Village, apparently before Barcelona moved in. And then when it showed up I kept hearing about it but it was far off my usual routes. Lately I've been hanging out down there more, and the other day while driving by I saw that they have lunch hours (before they didn't, or I assumed they didn't.) So I stopped in today, right when they opened. Much bigger inside than I expected. And much nicer. I knew it was a bit upscale, but it is just gorgeous inside. I felt a little underdressed in my t-shirt, one of my nicer ones but still. There was hardly anyone there, though, and the staff didn't make me feel that way, so it was fine. There are many seating options inside, and a beautiful patio. Soft relaxing Spanish music playing (and apparently they often have live music.) And the menu. Oh, my. So many things looked good. I didn't have a lot of time and wasn't starving, so I went with gazpacho and the bocata sandwich. The waiter pointed out that I could make a cup of gazpacho one of the sides with the sandwich, so I did that. Worked great, though the soup was so good I could have easily eaten more (and left overstuffed.) The gazpacho was thick and luscious, and looked and tasted like it was made with ingredients fresh from your backyard. The bocata... Well, picture a sub. Okay, now give it excellent bread, savory Spanish meats, great cheese, fresh tasty greens. Oh, and a slightly-spicy pepper pinned on top. Great parts, great balance, great sandwich. I had Pellegrino with it, appropriate and refreshing on a hot day. They offered dessert but I didn't have room or time. I will definitely be back for that, paella, calamari, and more.

Yelp
Been coming here for years. They did not disappoint. Sat on the remodeled patio which is lovely, had white sangria, many tapas, paella, and finished with a chocolate melt in your mouth dessert. A perfect evening again. A huge thank you to Scott, Olivia, and Ethan for a come back soon experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Everything at Barcelona was wonderful! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was vibrant and energetic. Our server was so kind and attentive. There was always staff around picking up plates shortly after we were done, filling drinks, and bringing our food out fresh from the kitchen. We can't wait to go back and sit on the patio (it was raining when we arrived)

Yelp
Previously came here on a Saturday evening for my 4th anniversary dinner. Such a beautiful chic restaurant with a lot of culture and love. It's vibrant, fun, and elegant with the perfect dim lighting for a romantic feel. The service was outstanding as the servers were very attentive to make sure we were enjoying both our time there and the food. She did an amazing job at explaining the dishes and recommended items that we would enjoy. The food was a bit pricy, but it was still filling at the end of the visit. The food was absolutely amazing when it came to taste! My rack of lamb from the paella de Cordero was cooked to perfection, which is often hard to do with lamb! Thus it won bonus points from me. The seafood paella's freshness and quality made it taste heavenly. We both left extremely satisfied and delighted with the entire experience. It was definitely worth the slight splurge. I must come back soon... and if you love seafood or Spanish tapas, then Barcelona is a must try for you!

Yelp
The pork chop was one of the best I've ever had! Salmon was also so good. We went for a birthday and they brought out a free little lava cake. So nice and the outdoor patio is the best!

Yelp
The wine events are key but the seafood paella is supreme. I was introduced to Barcelona during their happy hour when I was commuting back and forth between Cleveland. With the long bar and attentive staff, it seemed like a cool place to continue to explore. I appreciate the dedication to being an authentic menu and yes I know it is not my loved Cafe Ba Ba Reba in Chicago but the Paella is in the grouping with them. I think Barcelona tries to straddle the fence with authentic items and interpretations that are brought on by the chefs. There is also a pretty loyal following of wine selections that are showcased in the wine events they have quarterly. My second introduction to them was the bargain priced wine events and the clientele from them. It was a way to combine my love and missing being in a wine club with the lax atmosphere of the venue. If they could do one in the warmer months while their patio is open- that would be awesome! From the photos attached you can see we have ventured there quite a few times and I will say the Paella can feed at least 3-4 people and is reasonably priced. The wine is as well. The appetizers/tapas are fit to be shared though we have noticed, probably due to inflation, that the octopus dish has changed significantly and is now 'shaved' as opposed to gettin grilled tentacles as before. I wouldn't suggest it for the price due to that change. Other than you are looking at $12-20/dish and the dessert around the same pricing as well. Good for a night out but also try their calendar events options!

Yelp
Bartenders are amazing as usual and the tapas are spot on. Tonight we sampled some cocktails and they were spot on fantastic. Come see Raven and Justin for an awesome happy hour or dinner at the bar.

Yelp
I sat at the bar for a quick bite that turned into a meal! Started with red sangria and mussels. The red da grit was nice and refreshing and the mussels were hearty and delicious! Moved on to a tempranillo, shaved brussel sprouts (with goat cheese), and flank steak. All was delicious - the steak came with a smoked tomato romesco that was very nice! Bartender was great with wine recommendations and letting me taste wines before I bought. Finished with a dessert wine flight and a cheese plate. Understand - they don't have a cheese plate, so they served cheese and accompaniments from the charcuterie board without the meats. It was massive. First time I've had to take cheese home! I'll drop in again!...

Yelp
I love the papas bravas. The patio vibe is very nice. Always good service and excellent selection of wines.

Yelp
I went here for a friend's birthday dinner and had the best time. This restaurant is in the German Village so street parking is available and free. The decor was pretty and the outside seating area was stunning. We were immediately helped once everyone arrived. We got in drink orders and then shared appetizers. The appetizers chosen were garlic shrimp, olives, and potato crisps. They were all so airy and delicious! The highlight was the Paella de Mariscos Negra (Seafood Squid Ink Paella). It was amazinggg. The squid ink was a rich flavor that's hard to describe and all the seafood in it was cooked perfectly and added to the flavor. This place is kind of pricey, but delicious. The only complaint I have is that it took a while for our food to be ready and even longer for the check. Besides that, it was a good experience.
google avatar

Aubrie H.

Yelp
We've wanted to visit forever and I'm upset we didn't visit sooner. Tried a cocktail and a white wine flight, both were delicious and they have lots of options to choose from. The food was just incredible. Loved the strawberry salad and the Scallops were cooked perfectly. Looking forward to visiting again when we can enjoy the patio.

Yelp
What a beautiful find! Great Tapas and Paellas. Our server Lucas was super-intuitive, pleasant and helpful. Excellent all around!
google avatar

Donna W.

Yelp
We went with a group of four others, and we ordered quite a few tapas plus drinks. The waitress brought the tapas to us in three separate timings instead of all at once consequently we weren't finished after 3 1/2 hours! The manager asked us to leave if we were all done because there were people waiting!
google avatar

Joanne R.

Yelp
It is an expensive restaurant so if you are big eaters like us - bring a big credit card haha. Despite a big restaurant with many tables, they are very popular so make advance booking. But it's a common practise of theirs to ask walk-ins to wait at the bar and get a drink which we did while waiting for any tables to finish. We were told it would take 20mins but as soon as we ordered our drinks then we were told our table at the patio was ready. So our sangria was served at the patio instead. The bartender was very friendly and basically followed us to our table and served us the drink. Our server Jhsai was very friendly and helpful - we liked that he checked on us periodically so we could get the dropped knife replaced or get more water.. The tapas were very good and authentic like we were eating in Barcelona, Spain ! For the three of us we as usual ordered a bunch and enjoyed every dish - Garlic shrimp - must order Calamari - big portion and must order Grilled Cauliflower - better than expected and must order Flank steak - very good quality meat but very stingy. Two small pieces only! Red wine short rib - delicious Manchego with bread - ok We also had to try their paella but I was a little disappointed. They could use more tasty broth to make the rice more flavorful. And could be nice if they could add more clams and shrimps. I wasn't interested in dessert but our son wanted his favourite dessert tres leches so he had it and liked it alot. So worth a try. We could be tempted to return in our future trips - if we crave tapas again.
google avatar

Marlena K.

Yelp
I really liked this place! I was here on a food tour and the vibes are exceptional. Everyone is super professional and the paella is the bomb. The vegetarian one was packed with flavor as were the sangrias. If I was a local I would definitely be back!
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
Beautiful place, good service, but our tapas weren't very good. We ordered four - the chorizo with beans, the bistek, mussels, and the cheese with bread. The cheese tapas and the mussels weren't bad, but the other two weren't very good at all. The steak came out overcooked and the bean/chorizo was very bland. For what you pay here the food should be amazing. The other couple my wife and I were dining with enjoyed their meals, but they didn't order the tapas. If I come here again I'll skip the little plates and just go for a main. Maybe I won't be so disappointed then.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and service. Highly recommend. Had a drink at bar before being sat. Bartenders very friendly. Server Kuri was excellent

Yelp
Well, where to start? It was our 13th wedding anniversary. This place is amazing: first valet parking was a big help. Our reservation was for 5 pm and we were seated promptly. Service and food were excellent. I ordered red Sangria and two portions of Camarones al Ajillo (shrimps) & Pan (bread with olive oil). Dessert was on the house as a gift for our anniversary. It was our first visit there but it will definitely not be the last. I highly recommend this establishment!
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Excellent food, overall. The signature paella's mussels were overcooked and dried like jerky, so star down for that ruin. The pickled vegetables were wonderful. They offset the heaviness of the richer dishes. It's a large enough menu of eclectic tapas items, both traditional and inventive. One of top two best bars in Columbus. Justin makes a killer cocktail. David's service was excellent. Just enough attentiveness without the hustle. The ambiance of the dining room was pleasant. A lot of perfunctory reminders of bull fighting and Spanish painters. It's a bit chaotic and cluttered, visually, in an already crowded and raucous restaurant. I could go for a bit more elegant simplicity. Parking was valet, which was appreciated on a cold and snowy night in February.
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
I lived in Barcelona for 6 months and the food here was about as close as it gets to the real thing. Everything was delicious and authentic to true Spanish cuisine. I came with a big group and we started with the tapas tower and pastas bravas and both were great. If you only get one appetizer, definitely get patatas bravas. You won't regret it. The paella was fresh and delicious and must-get. We got one large and one small and it was plenty of food for our group of 9. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Columbus!
google avatar

Yelp
Our reservation was at 7pm and there was a bit of a wait still when we came. Street parking is impossible! You would need to valet for $10. We started with a bottle of white for $73 that was suggested by the server Ethan, it was light & nice. Our tapas were as ff: 1. Carpaccio de pulpo - thin slices of octupus with just 3 crostinis! This was enjoyable, wish it had had more crostini though. 2. Arrachera - very tasty chimichurri sauce, however the skirt steak was not tender. 3. Manchego - this was good, the sundried tomato complemented the cheese. Now for the Paella there was quite a bit of a wait. We had the Barcelona I had high hopes based on reviews, now this was mediocre! Nothing spectacular here, the taste was mid. We were disappointed. We capped with a slice of Lemon cake, it was ok didn't really get to finish, it was dry slightly crumbly and we paired with additional flight of 3 reds and 3 whites. Is it worth coming back? Not in my opinion, I'll search for other tapas place.

Yelp
I came here for a birthday dinner at 5:00 on a Sunday. When we arrived, the ambiance was very nice but our server was very slow getting our drinks and wasn't great at recommending wine pairings. Once we ordered, the food came out after like 30 minutes for the salad and 50 minutes for the paella, and the food was delicious! The paella has the chorizo described as squid ink, but there was no chorizo and the squid ink was everywhere in the dish. The dish was also described as having saffron, which I wish was more prevalent in the dish. The squid ink masked all the other flavors and I can't even pinpoint the flavor of the squid ink. I wish the paella itself was saffron based, to use squid ink on top of paella seems like a waste. Overall, it was an okay paella and I enjoyed it. After eating, the waiters dropped a dish on my boyfriends chair and never came to clean it up. We then also spilled a water and no one came to clean it up. After these two incidents, we were left alone for 30 minutes before anyone even came to see if we needed a check. We obviously did, at this point it was 7:50 and our food had been gone for 45 minutes and we've watched all the tables around us be served/leave and a new table take place like three times over. By the time she finally brought the checks, it was 8:20 and most of them were wrong. If the service had been better, maybe would be a 5 star review.

Yelp
A nice place, u can just park near the park on the street. Good food, just wished it could be quicker

Yelp
Finally got a chance to try this well known gem! Only disappointed by the lovely patio being closed. However, the exceptional food, drink service and ambiance made up for it! It's hard to choose from such an extensive, well thought out menu, so, as it was designed, we eagerly picked several tapas. The soup was beyond delicious, a unique take on gazpacho, but with savory green tomatoes that had an incredible smoky undertone. Our Caesar salad was crisp and flavorful and big enough to share. Calamari also did not disappoint. Extremely flavorful, tender and fresh! In addition, we enjoyed a perfectly seared steak with chimichurri sauce! We found ourselves distracted by items other guests were eating. Everything was plated beautifully! Although I wanted to skip dessert, I was encouraged to try the blood orange flan,......heavenly! Looking forward to another visit and that outdoor patio experience for sure.

Yelp
We went for tapas and ordered about 5 of them, all we enjoyed. The server Russ was attentive and helpful with the menu and recommendations. S/O Russ. The decor was amazing too and made it feels authentic in addition to the food. I would want to try the Paella next time if i got a dish because other tables had it and it looked great.

Yelp
We sat on patio and enjoyed the ambiance. We enjoyed sangria and Tapas. Everything was very fresh and delicious. This would be a wonderful place for a date or anniversary.
google avatar

Travis B.

Yelp
I stopped in here for dinner while in the area. I sat at the bar and luckily it was during the 4-6pm happy hour. The staff was great and personable. I had a couple glasses of wine and the Caesar salad was fantastic! Big portion and the good white anchovies (not the dehydrated gray ones from a can). Fantastic. I also had the happy hour potatoes and mussels. Both were fantastic and the sauces were on point. I will definitely return.

Yelp
Best calamari around!! This is a fun neighborhood spot with a great menu. There are a ton of options - you can get a bunch of small plates or shareable paella or a steak - lots more too. The staff is friendly and very attentive.
google avatar

雨

Yelp
The food was fine taste but running too salty. My husband and I both felt really thirsty while we ate so I don't recommend here. P.S: We had to wait for water long time.

Yelp
Writing this review after the third time going there and still very happy! Almost all of the food is phenomenal! I would always recommend the Montego, sourdough bread, and any paella. They tweak the menus from what we can tell but sad the skirt steak was replaced by the sirloin as it was much better. Service is great! I would go back for our next special occasion! You will enjoy the unique cuisine of Spain! Parts of the inside dining room can be tight when it gets busy and noisy. We have yet to sit outside however they are known for the outdoor experience!

Yelp
It's a paella party on a pretty patio! That is how I would best describe the overall vibe at Barcelona.....and it is truly a vibe. Transports you right out of Columbus in the best way. Red sangria was incredible and not overly sweet. Vegetable paella was light and satisfying. I cannot wait to go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Who would think you'd find a great Spanish restaurant in the middle of Columbus' German district? Our team was in town for a conference. We'd had German the night before and we were going to try something else. Turns out Barcelonas was the right choice. We arrived ahead of our reservation but got seated relatively quickly. Drinks arrived shortly after ordering. I chose a Riesling. I suspected it would go well. A dryer wine might have been a little better, but I do prefer sweet and fruity white wines. I chose the special tasting menu. It started with a cheese plate with some crostini, Manchego, and a delightful blue cheese. That was some damn good cheese! A third cheese I couldn't identify was equally good. The compressed cube of fig was also tasty. The second course was one of the few missteps in the night. A waiter who was not our own delivered the ceviche (marinated fish and vegetables) to the center of the table. It got largely devoured by my tablemates before I realized it was mine! I did get a bite and it was tasty. I would have willingly shared, but I wish I had just a little more....lol. The third course was fried green tomatoes. Also yummy, the goat cheese was another highlight here. The fourth and fifth courses came together as a sort of entree. Four consisted of housemade chorizo, pickles and mustard. Five was duck with carrot and cherry gremolata. The chorizo dish was great. The duck, mostly disappointing. There were only 2 maybe 3 tiny slices. And the cherry overwhelmed. Maybe if I had more ceviche I wouldn't have been disappointed by the duck portion. Oh well. Dessert was a peach crumble that was plenty good. I entertained ordering the Burnt Basque cake too but I suspect it would have taken a while and everyone else was finishing up. The service was good although the frequency of dishes arriving was a bit uneven, and there was the matter of the misdelivered ceviche! I loved the decor. It was a good night out with my teammates. 3.7 score rounds to 4.

Yelp
Amazing food and service I've tried twice going to this restaurant, and was three years apart from each visit. They are consistently good. My best dish was the scallops. They were so rich and well balanced. Sweet natural taste from dates were just perfect

Yelp
Very easy system to make an online reservation! We were able to be seated outside on the patio on a nice day. The atmosphere is lovely with nice decorations inside and out. We were able to find free parking just around the block. The workers were all so friendly and helpful with recommendations on the menu. There were many different wines to choose from and I enjoyed the red wine that I ordered. My family and I split 6 different small tapas. We enjoyed them all and loved the option to try an assortment of different foods. We ordered bread that came with a great tomato vinaigrette. All the dishes had wonderful flavors and spices. The empanadas were great and loved the sauce they came with. We also ordered some tuna and salmon that were both very fresh. At the end we were all very happy and thought it was a good amount of food. Overall a great experience!
google avatar

Jeremy K.

Yelp
The atmosphere is much more casual than years past. But the food is still delicious and the service attentive. They volume is a low hum and there is indoor and outdoor seating. I would plan to valet personally but there is parking available nearby, likely a couple of blocks of walk. The food is tapas mostly and the prices are in the upper middle range. Lots of flavor and some of the meals are a bit adventurous which I love but I would check the menu ahead if you are taking a picky boring friend(I don't keep friends that are picky but I know you might.) Wonderful staple in the city. Great

Yelp
I stopped by Barcelona for their happy hour. Happy hour is available at the elegant bar before 6pm on weekdays. They offer $6 drinks and discounts on small plates. The drink menu is extensive, with many classics and more creative options. I had the Marcona almonds and the red hummus. Both were pretty solid - the hummus and vegetables were fresh and flavorful. My partner had a salmon appetizer and was pleased. Service was polished and professional and I look forward to trying more of their menu.

Yelp
Barcelona has the best food, vibes, drinks, everything! There were so many tapas to choose from, the ones we chose were incredible. We got the calamares fritos, empanadas, lamb meat balls, camarones al ajillo and churros. Everything was full of flavor and cooked to perfection! My favorite was probably the lamb meat balls, but everything else was just as delicious. We were full after all these dishes, but really wish we got paella. Will be making a trip back here soon to try the paella! The staff was incredible and so nice as well.

Yelp
Great happy hour! Great food! I love this place. The paella is fantastic. It's enough for 2 folks. Get the special. You'll never go wrong. They whiskey collection is pretty good. No unicorns on the shelf but nothing offensive ok. It's solid. That said the sangria is where it's at. The cocktail menu is fun and creative. My wife had one of their house, craft cocktails which she enjoyed. I had a rye Manhattan also great. Just go.

This restaurant is beautiful inside . The food was delicious. They had live music a gentleman played the guitar , The servers were wonderful. I had shrimp and empanadas. My friends each had different items pictured below. Everyone enjoyed what they had .I was told the drinks were delicious . I would come back the meal and service we reviewed was wonderful.

Yelp
I went to Barcelona as a group for a friend's birthday, and it was only my second time eating there. The food was overall veey good. It was a group of 8 of us and we each ordered tapas and shared amongst the table. The mussels and costillas were my favorite. The costillas was incredible tender and the sauce was amazing. But for $16 it was such a small plate it was impossible to share. My friend ordered the shrimp and the scallops, and the shrimp only came with maybe 5 or 6 pieces, which again was disappointing for the price. The restaurant was extremely busy and walking to and from the table was a struggle; people were standing by the bar and the host stand it was tough to navigate. I can see myself going back but for a special occasion again, not for a date night or a typical night out though.

Yelp
Paella was good. Creme Catalan is to die for. Prices are a little steep, especially for drinks, but worth it for a special night out.
